Chapter 6 - That aching moment When you love her but you can't tell her..

"Doctor? She's fine right?" I asked the doctor and He said, she needed rest and no stress.

Stress?! God! Nandini was so much in pain!

I nodded and walked out with the doctor. After bidding bye to him, I came back to my room. I looked at Nandini who was trying to walk but before she could fall down..

"Careful!" I said as I held her. She looked at me

Ah! She must be surprised..

She was asking for Nidhu. I gestured her to look aside. Well I guess she didn't notice Nidhu, was sleeping beside her only.!

"Thank you so much Manik" She hugged so tight and I just wanted to reciprocate but...I jerked her away and she looked at me with a frown

She must be cursing me, for sure!

After giving her the medicines.., I left the room and went to the guest room

I was seriously very tired though.

I woke up early in the morning. I went to my room; well I didn't like, using any other washroom so..

I entered my room and found my angels sleeping peacefully. I walked forward to get a clearer view of them. I bent down and kissed Nandini's forehead, letting my lips linger on her forehead for a while..

"I'm sorry for hurting you baby..but I promise, I will confess my feelings as soon as you tell me everything about you.! I want you to share your pain with me..!" I whispered in her ear. She moved a little and I quickly back off. I rushed into the washroom.

I had just taken a bath. I turned to leave at the same time Nandini came in.

Damn!!

She screamed, making me to scream as well!

"What the...!" I yelled but by that time, she rushed out.

I sighed. "Pagal hai ye ladki!" I chuckled remembering her face when she saw me shirtless. After wearing my clothes, I got out but not before maintaining a serious face

"Why did come inside?" I yelled as I came out "You..." My eyes fell on a sleeping Nidhu.

Aww! I shouldn't speak loud!

I decreased my tone. And the argument began!

"Manik..thank you for letting us stay here at YOUR house. But...now we should go!" Nandini said and I just wanted to hug and told her to stay but..

"Yeah okay,.." I said casually, eating my sandwich

Damn! Why is it so difficult to lie to her??!!

She turned to leave...when something struck on my mind

She doesn't have a place to stay!

"Suno!" I stopped her and told her that she can stay here..! She gave me a look.

Like what? What wrong did I do now?

"Seriously, I just can't understand you!! You're weird!!" She said. Look who was talking..

I'm weird huh??

And she.? She was double weird!!

"Weird..? Nah! I'm not weird, I'm just different. Btw, You don't even have any place to stay right? So you can stay here for somedays till you find a place." I said and next I regretted

"I didn't tell you that I don't have place to stay then how did you get to know that??"

She eyed me suspiciously

"You only said it in the morning! Maybe you forgot." I just said in a casual tone and soon left from there. I had to go to the office too.

And I was damn sure, there must be many questions roaming on her head by now...

I came back home. Maria was trying hard, to make Nidhu calm as she was crying

"Nidhu..what happen to her.? Where's Nandini?" I asked Maria as I took Nidhu in my arms

She told me that Nandini had gone out for some work. I came to my room with Nidhu. I spend quite times with her, played with her, made her eat..

Nidhu..! I actually love her as much as I love Nandini..

I held her close to me, trying to make her sleep and I didn't even realise when I fell asleep with her.

Next I felt someone's breathing...

Someone's scent .. She was here!

I knew it was Nandini!

I opened my eyes and Nandini widened her eyes. She was so close to me!

Was she going to kiss me?

Damn! I shouldn't have opened my eyes..

She asked me about Nidhu and all, I told her the reason .. I asked her where she was but she just kept staring at me and I just wanted to drown in her eyes..!

Was she falling for me..?

I just hope so!

"Hello?? I'm asking you something!" I clicked my fingers infront of her and I guess she came back from her fantasy..

"Haan..! I had gone to work! I'm currently working at a restaurant cafeteria so.." I frowned. I wasn't happy with her, working outside.

But what can I do? I couldn't even stop her right!

"Okay. And you can take Nidhu back to your room." Well I should behave a little bit rude now. I have to..I want to know the truth!

"Fine." She said. Her voice was stern though.

It had been 1 week, since she was living with me. Only I knew, how I was contolling my feelings! I just prayed to God that she doesn't find any place because I just wanted her to stay here only!

Many times, I tried to ask her about her family & Nidhu..but she always ignored my questions.

Didn't she trust me enough to tell?

I was all ready to go to college, waiting for Nandini. I glanced to the staircase

There she was! I walked upstairs but she didn't noticed me. She was in a deep thought, maybe! All of a sudden she lost her balance

Damn! This girl!!

"Nandini!! Where were you lost?? What if you would have fallen down?" Thank god I saved her on time!

"I know, you won't let me fall. Never ever.!" She smiled at me.

Oh God! Please don't do that to me. Nandini..how much I love her..!!

The way she called me 'Manik'...

The way she spoke...

The way she laughed...

The way she stared at me...

I just loved Every damn thing about her!!

I had completely fallen for her!

I came back to my sense but she was still staring at me

"Nandini!!" I tapped her shoulder "The servants will take care of Nidhu. I'm going to college.., you're ready right? So let's go.." She nodded as she bit her lower lips.

Oh..! Please don't do that Nandini..

We were at the parking area when I told her to leave my house. I lied that I get irritated with her & Nidhu. Well that was so 'mean' of me but..I had to do this!

"Thank you Manik." She thanked me and I could felt that she was hurt!

Deeply hurt!

"I will..I will pay you back.. I promise. " Oh! I just wanted to take her in my arms! I couldn't see her in that state.

Oh Nandini...

I love you..!

But I just can't tell you right now..

I was about to say something. Just one more try, I wanted to ask her about Nidhu but..

"Kuch mat puchna Manik. Please!" She said lowly. Okay! I won't ask anything..

Maybe, she needed time..

But why?!! Didn't she trust me enough to tell me everything about her..? Wasn't I trustworthy to her??

"Fine. Main kuch puchna bhi nhi chahta" I said, maintaining a serious expression.

I left that place..

I'll make you tell me the truth, Nandini..Anyhow!!

I was going to my class when my eyes fell on Alya and Nandini. They were arguing on something!

I rushed to go there because I knew Alya didn't like her and she could do any wrong thing to my Nandini!

"What are you doing Alya?" I saved Nandini from falling back. Alya pushed her! She had so much hatred towards her!

Nandini back off from me. I could see that anger in her eyes. She was damn furious with me

It was just because of me only!

Damn you Manik!!

I stopped Nandini from going. Alya tried to stop me but all I cared was, 'Nandini'. Alya went away in anger

But I didn't care much.

"Tumhai chot tou nahi lagi na?" She instantly gave me a look. Ofcourse, she must be thinking that I'm mad. Sometimes I'm rude and sometimes.. kind!

She answered me, saying that she was okay but I knew she wasn't!

"You sure? You can't walk properly! Did something happen to your leg?" I knew I was kinda being formal though.

"It's nothing, I can walk.." She limped towards her class

This girl! Jhoot bolna ni aata then why does she even try?!!

Before she could enter her class, I lifted in my arms. Maybe my act made her stunned but who cares..

We entered an empty class, I asked her about the injury but she denied, saying that she was fine. I insisted and told her to show me where was it hurting but she stayed mum

"Don't stay mum dammit, show me where is it hurting?!!" I shouted. I couldn't bear her silence!

"Manik enough na!! I'm okay!" She pushed lightly, showing her anger.

She pushed me!! How dare she shout at me?!!!

"Don't you dare speak to me on that tone!" I came closer to her face, eyeing on her lips..

Ugrh! Her lips!!

May I kiss you Nandini...,

I would have kissed her only if she wouldn't have screeched! I removed her shoes and caressed her sprained ankle.

I scolded her for being careless. I told her that she could have pushed Alya the same way she pushed her but her answer made me amazed!

"I'm not that girl who takes revenge.. no matter what happens.." She said maintaining a stern voice

Oh..my little tigress!

"Manik it's okay now." I stared at her with love.

Have to do something serious to make her tell the truth!!

And that was it! I grabbed her and pinned her to the wall. She gasped. Without any warning, I placed my rough lips on her soft one!

Oh!!!! How much I wanted to do that..!

She tried to pushed me but I pulled her more closer.

I wanted more!!

She pushed me with a great force and slapped me hard on my face.

Grh!!! No one dared to slap me like she did!! Pyar mein kya kya sehna padta hai..!

"How dare you Manik!!" Her eyes were blood red but I enjoyed tasting her lips!

I just wished if I could do that one more time..!
