Chapter 2- I like you because you join in my weirdness

After Nidhu slept, I went to the kitchen to eat something when there was a bang at the door.

"You..here at this time?" I said as I opened the door. It was the landlady.

"Give me my money" Yes, she was here to take her money but I had only 1,000 note with me and that was for my own use.

"Please give me sometime.., I'll give you the money once I'll get my full salary. Plea--" But before I could speak further, she dragged me out of the house.

"Get out! Get lost right now! I want my money now. You don't have money then OUT!!" She kept on dragging me out.

"Please!! Please give me some time..!" I pleaded but she didn't listen instead she went inside to my room!

Oh no!! Nidhu!

I followed her and saw her dragging a sleepy Nidhu, harshly.

"No please!!!" Nidhu quickly hide behind me.

Oh! My baby was scared!

"Give me my money else get out from here.!!" She pushed me hard and I fell down. My head hit the glass table and it started bleeding.

"Mommy!! Mom-mommy!!" Nidhu came to me and palmed the side of my forehead to stop the bleeding. I kissed her hands and told her not to cry.

That was enough! I can tolerate anything but not my baby's tears!

"Get lost!!" The landlady didn't show any mercy on us and threw my bag which hardly had few clothes of mine and Nidhu.

I picked it up and walked outside with Nidhu in my arms. My legs were paining, my head was aching due to the minor injury

"Mommy..." Nidhu gestured me to look at the side

I looked to find a bench nearby and walked up to it. I carefully made Nidhu sit on the bench and soon my vision became blur! I hardly could see my Nidhu's face

Was I going to faint???

No please God no!!

I tried to stand steady but my legs gave up and I fell on the ground

"Mommy! What happen? Pleach waky up mommy!!" I could hear Nidhu's cracking voice.

I could see nothing just...

Darkness....

And next, darkness overtook me..!

"Doctor? She's fine right?" I tried to open my eyes..! I noticed two figures infront of me but couldn't see their face clearly as my vision was yet a little blur

"Yes..just take care of her. Make sure she doesn't miss any of her meals and doesn't take stress" Oh maybe one was the doctor! I couldn't hear any voice further.. maybe they had gone out..

But wait!!

I was unconscious right??!!

Where was I actually now??

I finally opened my eyes, my head was bandaged and was aching like hell. I looked at the surroundings. I was in someone else house! Someone else bedroom!!

WTH!!

And where's my Nidhu???

Oh my god!

I jerked the blanket off me and tried to stand up. My head was spinning, but I didn't care.

I wanted to see Nidhu!

Safe and sound!

I walked forward to the door but my legs gave up and I was about to fall when..

"Careful!" Someone held me. I looked at his face and...

Manik??

What...! I was in HIS house???

"You?" My voice was like a whisper. I hardly could talk because of the weakness! Oh.. maybe I fainted because I didn't eat anything since morning. He scooped me in his arms and my questions session started.

"Manik..how did I land up here?? And where is Nidhu?? I want to see her" Manik placed me on the bed

"Manik tell me, where is she..? Nidhu bab--" Before I could complete, Manik put his finger on my lips.

What a move ehh!

"Shh! Don't stress yourself!" He said, so sweetly!

"Nidhu?" I raised my eyebrows and he gestured to look aside. I turned my head to the side and found Nidhu sleeping, peacefully in the bed.

Oh! I didn't notice!

"She's sleeping! She didn't want to but I made her sleep. "Kids ko zyada der tak uthna nahi chahiye, it's not good for their health." He said in such a cutely manner and I wanted to hug him. And I did it!! I hugged him so tightly, I was sure he must be stunned with my act but I didn't care much.

He was my saviour!!

"Thank you so much Manik" I thanked him but he jerked me away. I looked at him with a frown

Didn't he want to hug me back?

Oh so stupid of me!

I shouldn't have hugged him..

"This is your soup and medicines. Drink it and sleep okay!" He handed me the soup which was on the side table and kept the medicines on the bed. He left without giving me a glance

He's Weird..!

But I like it..

After drinking that not so tasty soup and medicines, I held Nidhu close to me and slept.

Ahh! It feels so good though!

I woke up early in the morning and found Nidhu sleeping. I looked around..

It was really a big bedroom!

I shifted my gaze to the clock which showed 8 a.m. It was weekend so no classes today. I looked around for the bathroom and noticed a door.

Ah! Maybe that's the bathroom!

I proceeded to the door which was already opened. As I stepped inside

"Aaaaa!!!" I screamed on top. Manik startled and even he screamed to the loudest. I quickly palmed by eyes. He was standing just in towel wrapped around his waist!

He was shirtless!!

"What the F!! What the hell are you doing here?!!" I could here Manik's screams as I instantly came out of the bathroom

Oh my God!

Shirtless Manik!

He was looking irresistibly hot though!

But why did he scream?? Oh maybe because I did so! But he should have told me that he's inside na.! Agrh!

"Why did come inside?" Manik yelled as he came back wearing his clothes "You..." He glanced at a sleeping Nidhu then stated in a low voice "Why was the need to scream like that??" Manik said lowly, just making sure not to wake up Nidhu

Aww! How sweet of him.

"Don't stay mum! Main kuch puch raha hoon tumse!"

"Because you screamed!" I said.

"Really.., I screamed because you screamed first dammit! Didn't you ever stare at any boy without shirt or what huh!"

No no! I never saw!

"No actually..I was scared! Tumhai aise dekha tou..! Btw, why didn't you lock the door? You should have tell me that you're inside na!" I said, God! The argument is not gonna end, for sure!

"Ah! Let me remind you Ms Nandini, you're in my house, in my bedroom right now! And I didn't care to lock the bathroom of my bedroom! But you could have check right? You could have called my name from outside." He kept on talking! Damn! This was his bedroom. Quite wonderful!!

"Mommy!!" Nidhu cried in her sleep. Her sleep was being disturbed.

"Shh nothing! Mommy is here only, you sleep." I patted her head and she again drifted into slumber. I looked at Manik who just shook his head and left the room. I can't stay more here now. It's his house! I have to find some place.

After I had freshen up, Nidhu was still sleeping so I came out of the room. The interiors was so beautiful! I wonder if he lives alone in this house? I could see servants but doesn't he have any family? I walked downstairs and saw him at the breakfast table.

"Manik..thank you for letting us stay here at YOUR house. But...now we should go!" I said as I stood beside him. He looked at me for a second and said

"Yeah okay,.." He said, eating his sandwich

What!! But I thought he would ask me to stay!

Grhh! I should stop overthinking!!

"Hmm.." I just hummed and turned to leave. He didn't even ask me to have breakfast!

Mr arrogant!!

"Suno!" He stopped me as he stood up. What did he want now?

"You can stay here." Oh f!sh..! Did I hear it clearly??!

Huh!! Why was he being so nice??

He was behaving weird just like me!? I like it but..how can all of sudden??

"Seriously, I just can't understand you!! You're weird!!" I said; he was behaving really weird though.

"Weird..? Nah! I'm not weird, I'm just different. Btw, You don't even have any place to stay right? So you can stay here for somedays till you find a place."

Damn! How did he got to know that I don't have place to stay?!!

Something was f!shy!!

"I didn't tell you that I don't have place to stay then how did you get to know that??" I asked, eyeing him suspiciously

"You only said it in the morning! Maybe you forgot" He said casually as he moved his gaze here and there.

Huh?? No, no! I didn't say anything to him!

"I'm going outside. If you want anything you can ask the servants. See you" He took his car keys and went out.

Ah! No doubt, He was lying, for sure!

But why??

What was he hiding??

Something was definitely wrong!
