Chapter 14 - Nσ Tяυѕт, Nσ Us!

It was morning already when my eyes shot opened. I moved aside to find the bed empty!

Where was Manik?

I moved but hissed in pain. My lower part was literally paining though.

My cheeks heaten up as last night flashed in my head.

Such a blissful night!..

But eww! I so wanted to take a shower. I rushed in the washroom, wrapping the duvet around my body.

"Maria, please take care of Nidhu" I said as I made my way out.

Nidhu was still sleeping and I've to go to college. I guess, Manik had already left. But he could have wait for me na. I called him but his phone was switched off and I was worried for him. Was he alright?

I took a cab, within 35 minutes, I reached college

I marched inside, when I noticed Alya's gang! Her team but Alya wasn't with them though.

"Hey, you know, Manik has a relation with Nandini" One of the girl said as I passed near them.

"Yeah, but what did Manik found in that girl? I mean, look at Manik, he's so handsome! And Nandini, she already has a child!" They laughed, making me hell frustrate! I knew they were saying this purposely to irritate me

Manik, where are you?

I just want to be in his embrace, right now!

I walked through the corridors, when I heard some sounds! It was probably coming from the store room though. I thought to ignore but next,

"Alya.." I heard Manik!

What was Manik doing there? With Alya?

I marched forward to it. I pushed the door a little as it was slightly opened. I saw Manik and Alya, together! Alya's hand around Manik's neck!

What the heck was happening here?

"I know, Nandini's staying with you right? So you win the bet Manik. You said you won't but you did it! You're using her. You want her to warm up your bed, right" And this made me go numb! He did a bet??

No this can't be true!

"No Alya.."

"Yes I know. You win, I lose"

No, no! Manik was playing with me?? He wanted me in his bed????

"Manik" I said loud enough, to make him hear

He turned to me and pushed Alya away instantly. He looked shock, bewildered. Obviously, he wasn't expecting me here

I shook my head and turned to leave. First the girls made fun of me, and now this...

"Nandini listen" I could hear his voice and his foot steps towards me but I just left the college. Tears were constantly flowing out from my eyes. He betrayed me

In no time, I arrived to HIS home. I was about to enter the guess room but a hard pull made me stop

He was here.

"What the heck! How could you just come home, without even waiting for me?" He yelled at me, making me flinched.

Seriously?! How could he? I was beyond hurt here and he was hurting me more!

"I don't wanna talk to you Manik, leave me"

"Listen--" He glanced at Maria who was in the kitchen. He scooped me in his arms and marched upstairs. I was weeping and didn't struggle because I knew it was anyway gonna be in vain

He made me stand as we entered in his room.

"I hate you Manik. How could you? I thought you love me! Do you even know what you did to me? I am madly in love with you Manik, please don't leave me. I'll- I'll die.." I was sobbing hard

"Hey shh.. don't speak nonsense!" He cupped my face and made me look at him

"I love you! I love you very, very much!" He spoke and placed a soft peck on my lips. I closed my eyes, his lips on mine, was bliss! But then, flashes of him and Alya's came on my mind.

I pushed him away instantly, he stumbled back

"Stop lying, Manik. I'm not a toy! You can't rule me whenever you want to" I yelled out in frustration,

"What you heard isn't the truth! Listen baby--"

"No! Don't baby me! Just tell me! Didn't Alya say, you were using me. All of those love which you were showering on me was a drama. How could you betray me? My heart--I gave my heart to you Manik and you just broke it into pieces! Tell me why did you break my heart haan?" My sobs weren't stopping and he shook his head negatively. He tried to touch me but I moved backwards

"Nandini.."

"For bloody sake, tell me the truth Manik!! Didn't she say that you were using me? She said, you wanted me to warm up your--! You're such a monster!!"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!! She said 'that'! She said, I used you! Yes she said that which I did with you, was a drama! I betrayed you. I wanted you, just you! I am a monster!" I grabbed my chest as his words cut into my flesh! It felt like someone had just driven a stake through my heart!

Darkness. What's darkness? Darkness is when no one is around you to light up your world..

But betrayal?

Betrayal is that one thing which one would least expect! If someone would even light up your world, you would still have a doubt if that 'someone' is actually brightening your world or pushing you back to the darkness?..!

Betrayal is so worst that it kills you!! And this is how I was feeling right now!

"Did you get peace now? This is what you wanted to hear right!!" His eyes spitting fire but wait! I should be the one to get furious!

This fight, this argument..It was so painful! I was frozen! I was numb, just numb at my place! But yet my hands didn't tremble to slap him! I never expected this from him!

"I--I hate you Ma-nik" My voice cracked! His expression changed as I was wailing! Wailing like a baby who just got lost in the crowd.

Suddenly, I felt like throwing up. I felt light headed. My gaze moved down, the ground was trembling! I was losing my balance! My legs felt weak!

"Nandini!" Manik held my arms, not letting me fall. I stared at him, his eyes carried pain, emotions..

But why? He was my 'Pain giver'! He gave me pain so he should be happy no?!

"I--I can handle my-self" I said blankly, jerking his hand away. I didn't need his support, not anymore

I was devasted! He--he lied to me! Was I just a toy for him?

Was everything a lie? Was the thing which happened between US last night, a lie? Was his 'I love yous' a lie? Was his all promises a lie? He used me,.. worst of all,

He just wanted me on his bed!

"What you heard, is not the truth! That's not the truth, Nandini!" He said, and I stared at him

"But you just want to claim that I betrayed you right, so let it be that way only. I won't explain myself anymore" His eyes were becoming teary at the same time, he chuckled a bit "You don't trust me." He meekly whispered, making my eyes widened

I trusted him!! But.... Did I misunderstand him?

But what I heard right no.

Was it right or.. wrong?

"You don't trust me! My love don't trust me! Darn it!!!" I flinched as he threw the vase which was placed on the table, on the floor!

"What did you say? I broke your heart into pieces? Wrong! You're wrong!" He pinned me to the wall, holding my arms so tight. It would surely leave some marks

"You broke my heart, Nandini. You just broke it into pieces!" He gritted his teeth, his eyes spitting fire. His painful tone was the proof that he was beyond hurt!

It was now that my stupid mind was working! I just heard a half conversation in which only Alya was speaking! MY man was not close to her but she was coming close to him!

I did a big mistake! I should have given him a chance to explain. I should have listen to him atleast!

That girl's words had made a bad effect on my head that I removed all my frustration on my love.

I shouldn't have get hyper on Manik. I shouldn't have! Sh!t!! Sh!tttt!!

"Manik..I--"

"Sh! Where there's no trust in a relationship, there's no meaning to keep it on"

"Manik!" I gasped at his words. His eyes bored into mine but all I could see was pain! Was he saying to--to end this?

"Manik please, I'm.. I was" How would I explain to him that I was frustrated! Even he would have get mad at me if he would be frustrated.!

"No Trust, No Us" He said as he moved away from me. He was hurt!

"Go Nandini. Leave me alone for sometime" His gaze moved down to the floor

"Manik, I'm--I'm sorry" I was literally feeling guilty though, but I knew 'sorry' wasn't enough! I did a big mistake, I hurt him! and now, I had to deal with it.
