"Do you have any idea when this electricity will be back? " He asked looking at me with uneasiness.

"You can still go back to your luxurious bungalow." I told him stirring the noddles.

"No thanks." He replied crossing his arms causing me to sigh.

"It's too hot in here, go and sit in the balcony. I'll get it quickly. " I told him and he frowned.

"And what's the guarantee that if I go out you won't add poison in my noddles. " He asked raising his eyebrows causing me to look at him in disbelief.

"Right and what's the guarantee that I won't stab you when you are sleeping? You shouldn't stay here with me, Simon go back! " I told him narrowing my eyes and his frown deepened.

"Who is Simon? " He asked causing me to mentally face palm.

"Ever read India's history? Simon go back! " I asked and he nodded in understanding.

"Oh! But I'm not going anywhere alone, Miss. Murthy, after we eat your Maggi, we'll head to my house." I wasn't even shocked now, honestly! I'm so used to this man's antics now that I'm not shocked!

"No. " I told him simply and served the noddles in two dishes before picking the dishes and heading out of the kitchen.

"I'm not leaving you here alone when there's no electricity or Nalini. It's not safe. " He said coming out behind me.

"I'm used to living here like this and it's always safe. No one would climb up till 17th floor just to harm me Mr. Malhotra. I don't have enemies like that. " I told him faking a smile.

"I don't care Miss. Murthy. I'm not leaving you here alone and that's final. " He stated sitting in front of me on the balcony.

"I've been living here like this all my life without your so called protection and nothing ever happened, so what's different now? " I asked getting irritated by his actions.

"There is a difference now. " He said calmly causing me to get even more furious.

"What's the difference? Mr. Malhotra, I'm an orphan and an elder sister, I've seen it all. I know how to take care of myself because this is something I've done all my life so there's nothing new to it, so kindly stop. Eat and leave if you want to but I'm not coming and that's very much final. " I told him sternly.

" I know who you are and what you have been doing but now, you don't have to because I'm there and if you don't want to get fired, do as I say or else I'll personally make sure you don't get any job,. " He told me and I was left speechless.

Why is this man so stubborn? And why is he behind my back?

Silently, I began eating my dinner, looking out of the balcony and he arranged the candles around nicely.

I think I should call Nalini back, then only I'll be able to get rid of him. But then what will I tell chacha chachi, why am I calling her back? And it completely slipped my mind that I have to see those pictures as well. Of course I don't want to get married anytime soon but I'll still have to see those pictures at least once to get a point for rejecting all the guys.

"Don't pressurize your brain too much Miss. Murthy. " My chain of thoughts were broken by Mr. Malhotra's words.

"Not interested in eating? " He asked and I looked at my plate which was still full.

Without saying anything, I began eating again and heard him sigh.

"Why do you always argue even when you know you can't win? " He asked keeping the food aside and I looked down.

"I just voice out my opinions." I mumbled looking at him and he looked at me with soft eyes.

"I've never loved a candlelight dinner more. " He stated after a few minutes of silence.

"I don't know what is the reason but whatever it is, you shouldn't lie. " I told him and he sighed.

"Why can't you believe me? " He asked accusingly.

"Give me one reason why I should. " I retorted leaving him speechless for sometime.

"Where do I keep this? " He asked pointing at his plate.

"Follow me. " I asked him getting up with my plate, since I had finished eating as well.

I heard a beep of notification on my cellphone and took it out of my pajama's pocket. It was Chachi's message.

God!

Without seeing what the text was, I kept the phone back inside my pocket and began walking towards the kitchen with him following behind.

I heard him yelp in pain and turned to find him falling on me.

We fell on the floor with him on top of me and our plates shattered after falling causing me to close my eyes and bring my hands in front of my face as a reflex.

Breathing heavily due to the heavy weight of Mr. Malhotra on me, I removed my hands from my face and looked at him to find him looking at me intently.

"Sir. " I called him but this Hulk of a man didn't even bulge.

"Sir! Can't breathe!" I told him and it seemed as if he came back to his senses.

He kept his hand on the side to get up but accidentally his hand landed on the shattered glass pieces causing him to yelp again.

"Sir. " I took his hand in mine as he sat beside me and saw his palm bleeding.

"Damn! Why can't you just look around and them move? " I asked him in frustration.

Never thought he can be this clumsy!

"How am I supposed to see in darkness?" He asked getting annoyed.

"By using the already lit candles. " I pointed at the candle which had also fallen due to his tripping.

"Now wait here, I'll get the first aid kit. " I told him getting up and taking the kit out of the drawer of the table in which he had tripped and all this happened.

"Give me your hand. " I demanded after lightning a candle and he forwarded his hand.

Taking his hand in mine, I cleaned the blood off his hand with the cotton before applying ointment and dressing his wound.

"Now get up and hold my hand, I'll get you seated before cleaning all this. " I told him pointing at the glass pieces and getting up.

He held my hand and got up silently, which is so unlike him to be honest!

I walked him till the couch and after he got seated, went to the kitchen to get a broom and dustbin with candle.

While cleaning the floor, I heard him talking to someone in call and decided to walk back inside the kitchen silently.

The electricity was back causing me to sigh in relief and I heard my door bell ring.

Walking outside I saw Mr. Malhotra talking to a man on the doorstep.

"Go and pack your stuff, we are leaving. " He commanded as soon as he realized my presence.

"But-" "Do you want me to pick you up and take you with me without your stuff? " He asked in a bored tone causing my eyes to widen.

"This is wrong. " I stated causing him to roll his eyes.

"I guess you liked the second option more. " He said taking a step towards me causing my eyes to widen.

"No! " I shrieked and he made a face.

"Then go Miss. Murthy, cause unlike you, my time is precious. " He said causing my eyes to narrow.

"Then why are you wasting your precious time on me? " I asked through my teeth and he sighed before walking towards me.

Understanding why he was coming towards me, I ran inside my room to pack before he does what he has warned me about.

How can I get rid of this Head of Evil?
