"Sir." I uttered anxiously and he began walking towards me slowly.

"Miss. Murthy. " He mumbled coming closer and I continued taking steps backwards.

"Sir this is highly inappropriate. " I told him pointing my finger at me, trying to gather some courage.

"I know Miss. Murthy, and so was what you were doing outside with that Bastard. " He said through his teeth and my back hit the wall causing my eyes to widen.

Before I could move aside, he caged me between him and the wall, keeping both his hands on my either sides.

"Mr. Malhotra, you are invading my private space. " I told him looking at his eyes and he narrowed his eyes.

"When they were doing the same thing, you didn't had any problem." He said through his teeth, glaring me really hard.

"T-they?" I asked fumbling and he gave me an accusing look.

What have I even done to this man?

"Yes, I saw how you were hugging that guy last night, outside the hotel. " He said accusingly, as if I have cheated on him, like what the hell?

But wait! How does he know that I hugged Rahul last night?

"Are you stalking me? " I asked with wide mouth and narrowed eyes and he chuckled in a mocking way.

"I have better things to do." He said smirking.

"Then how do you know, that I met Rahul last night?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"And how does it matters? " He asked looking away.

"Of course it matters, Sir. Accept it that you were stalking me. " I told him and he looked at me.

" You are not that special Miss. Murthy, neither do you own that road. I was just passing by and since you were publicly showing your affection for him on the road, I saw you there. " He told me angrily and I looked away.

"That was a friendly encounter and this... " I said pointing at us and our closeness. "Isn't friendly. " I completed and looked at me with immense anger.

"Right and anyways we can never be friends, because friends share the same status and you Miss. Murthy, are a bloody nobody. " Okay, I am about to slap him really hard now!

Exhaling deeply, I tried to control my anger.

"Exactly Sir, so will you please let this nobody leave because unlike you, we nobodies cannot afford getting our salaries cut by our Boss. " I told him through my teeth, controlling my anger.

He was testing my patience with each passing day and it was getting really hard for me to control. Now I get why they say it's difficult to work with him.

He glared at me hard before leaning a bit more towards me causing me to instinctively keep my hands on his chest to stop him from leaning further.

He looked down at my hands causing me to gulp, but I didn't remove my hands.

"Just because I work under you, it doesn't means you'll cross your limits, Sir. " I told him sternly looking at him in the eyes with a newly found bravery and he looked a bit surprised.

Taking steps back, he made a way for me.

"Leave. " He said and without wasting a minute, I began dashing outside but of course he won't let me go like that.

He held my hand causing me to stop and pulled me to him, causing my back to hit his chest.

Breathing heavily at the proximity, I tried to wriggle out of his grip but he had his grip strong on both my hands.

"If I see you with that guy, you hugged last night, again." He whispered in a dangerously husky voice near my ear and I felt my body shivering with some strange sensations.

His mouth was my touching my earlobe and it was getting difficult for me to stand properly.

"You'll find his dead body the next day. " My eyes widened at his words and I looked at him in horror.

He looked dangerously serious and I felt tears forming in my eyes because of the fear that I felt seeing how dark his soul was. His eyes were devoid of any emotions and I just wanted to run away and hide somewhere.

He left my hands but I was frozen at my spot. I just couldn't move, seeing how hollow his eyes were.

"Get out Miss. Murthy. " He said and I gulped.

I swear I tried to move away, I did but my legs were just not moving. I had never seen someone this hollow in my whole life. He is not only strange but someone, one must not get close to.

" I. Said. Get. Out. " He made every word clear and gulping, I finally took my steps towards the door.

But I just couldn't take my eyes off those eyes. How can they be like this? So calm yet scary?

He too wasn't breaking the eye contact but when my back hit the door, I finally looked away and dashed out of his cabin.

Coming out, I breathed heavily and Amyra came running to me.

"Nandini. " She called my name and I immediately hugged her.

"Calm down. " She caressed my hair but it was just not working.

"He's soulless. " I told her panicking and she rubbed my shoulder.

"Shh, he has cameras here, let's go to your cabin. " She whispered before taking me to my cabin and making me sit on my chair.

She gave me a glass of water and drank a bit.

"What did he say? " She asked sitting in front of me, holding my hands.

"He's crazy. " I told her in disbelief of what he said to me.

"And dangerous Nandini, I warned you. " She reminded and I held my head.

"What do I do now Amyra? I can't leave this job,  he once told me that he won't let anyone else hire me. What do I do? " I asked her panicking and she looked at me sympathetically.

" Ask him Nandini,  ask him directly why is he doing this. There is no other way. " She said causing my eyes to widen.

" No Amyra, I'm not going back to him. No no. " I told her shaking my head.

"I'm not asking you to go asap but when he'll call you, you will have to go and if again misbehaves, ask him. " She suggested and I looked down.

"I don't want anything like this to happen again, should I tell this to the police? " I asked and she frowned.

"Really Nandini? And what will you tell them? " She asked and I looked down.

"That he's mistreating me. " I told her and she sighed.

"And where are the proofs? " She asked and I looked down biting my lip.

"Nandini, we all know, no one can even touch him, he's really powerful. You cannot do anything except confronting him. Ask him the reason and only then you will be able to find the solution to this. "  She suggested and I exhaled deeply.

"We have a meeting in fifteen minutes, I'll have to leave, take care. " She said after sometime and got up.

"Thanks Amyra. " I thanked her and she smiled before leaving.

I jolted at the sudden ring of my cellphone. It was message but I didn't wanted to read, so I ignored it and went to the washroom instead to get myself fixed.

Mr. Malhotra, why did you even come in my life?

He's the darkest character I've written till date and you'll realize it as the story will progress.
