Nandini was lying on bed while manik was sitting beside her holding her hand. Fear, worry , tension all were written all over his face. He was looking at her without blinking his eyes. As if he will blink and she will again get hurt. He was not ready to leave her side.

And if u love a person to such extent where u can destory anything and everything then seeing them in pain gives u unbearable pain.

After few hours nandini stirr in sleep and start gaining conciousness. She opened her eyes a little but everything was blur so in order to clear her view she blink her eyes few times. As soon as her vision got clear the first person she saw was manik sitting next to her holding her hand and moving them in a specific pattern over and over again. After waiting for a couple of minutes she finally asked him.

N:" kkyaa liikhh rhyy hooo.." nandini asked in broken whishper as she was feeling really weak. His fore finger became a pen and continued doing wonders on her hands. He looked at her and then said.

M:" tum per apna naam likh rha hon." Manik said like a whisper but still determined voice. Nandini looked at him astonished.

N:" kyu..??" Nandini asked while manik looked at her intensely for a good minutes

M:" kun k mei God ko batana chahta hon k tum per sirf mera haq hai. Toh tumhe koi bhi chot nhi laga sakta. Tum khud bhi nhi." Manik said deeply while his fingers were still doing wonders on her hand. Nandini stare him for a while then pull her hand back with the little force she has. She tried to get up but was unable so manik helped her though she protested with all the remaining power she has but still she was failing miseriable. Manik helped her to sit.

M:" do u need something.??" Manik asked her politely

N:" Haan.. magar tum se kuch nhi chahiye." Nandini said angrily while manik became helpless.

M:" theek hai mei mukti ko bheejta hon." Manik said and was about to turn when she stopped him

N:" Manik.. us ki help bhi nhi chahiye." Nandini denied stubbornly.

M:" fine.. mei Mom ko keh deta hon woh aa jayen gi." Manik said and turned. Nandini wanted to stop him but when a kid gets hurt all he/she needs is mother's warmth and care. Manik reached near door and turned back to found her in deep thoughts. He was expecting that she would say no but a little smile adorn his face thinking his mom was the first one who melted her heart though not to much but a little.

He moved down stairs and told niyonika what happened a moment ago and niyonika was really happy that she was atleast able to melt her daughter's heart a little.

She went upstairs and helped her while nandini kept quite. Which made niyonika happy as it was first time when she kept wuite and it was a good start.

As soon as niyonika went dhawan's came inside. Abeer climbed on the bed and looked at nandini wounds. Then he kissed her every wound with a respective sorry, u are the best and i love u. Nandini looked at him for a while then truned her gaze. Finally after kissing her cheek last time with a  love u abeer left the room.

C:" i really dont know how to thank u." Cabir said looking at Nandini.

N:" u really dont need to." Nandini replied with her signature blank face.

Na:" agar aaj tum na hoti toh pata nhi kya ho jata. Tum ne mere bete ki jaan bachaye hai nandini. Mujhe per bohat bara ehsan kiya hai tum ne nandini." Navya said emotionally while looked at her for a while and found her eyes wet.

Well this is a mother who cry in the pain of her child. Mother has to be like this. The one who hisses when her child got a little scratched.

N:" mei ne kuch nhi kiya woh toh mei khud phisal gye. Abeer khud hi sambhla tha." Nandini said looking here and there while both cavya smiled looking at the selfless girl who got hurt but was not ready to take the credit.

After bidding bye to nandini both left the room and told everyone what happened. Manik was smiling listening his wife's praises while niyonika had a pride in her eyes. Same pride a mother in law has when someone praises her daughter in law.

Mukti after one hour entered in nandini's room to find her sleepy. She was sad
Mu:" i always wished for a sister but never got one. So i decided that bhai's wife will be my sister. And i really consider u as one but unfortunately u didnt consider me. But i have decided that soon we both will share a good sisters bond." Mukti said and after that She kissed nandini's head and left the room.

As soon as she left nandini opened her eyes she has heard all mukti said to her. After few seconds nandini again closed her eyes.

Days passed like this. Manik caring for nandini's little little things. He was giving his full attention towards her. Her food, medicines, checkup, dressing, anything and everything. Manik was treating her like a princess and nandini was recovering really fast. Manik even after her so many tantrums help her in her movements. Whenever she get fever he used to wake up whole night taking care of her. Changing cold water strips. He was way more care ful with her.

After two weeks

Nandini manik and niyonika were inside while mukti was sitting in the garden and humming a song when door bell rang.

Kaka opened the door and a tall slim manly figure entered inside. Kaka was shouting continously while mukti found it weird and ran behind him. The man opened the door and lookef inside to find three of them sitting. He smiled looking and nandini and said.

(Abhi's attire)

Man:" nandu...." the man shouted gaining everyones attention. While nandini after getting his one look stand on her place ran to him and hugged him.

N:" abhii.." she also almost shouted. Both the souls were happy meeting eachother after so long but two souls there were literally burning. And those were malhotra sibblings.
Abhi and nandini broke the hug

Ab:" i missed u soo much.." abhi said

N:" i missed u too.." nandini also replied in same happiness .

N:" per tum yahan kaise..??" Nandini asked with his sudden appearance.

Ab:" actually mei sab se pehle tum se milna chahta tha. Is lye orphange gya magar pata chal k teri shaadi ho gye toh yahan aa gya." Abhi told her while nandini smiled on her friends love.
Niyonika interrupted their moment and said

Ni:" nandini beta who is he.? Hume nhi milwao gi?" Niyonika asked but tried to not interfare in her privicy. Nandini looked at her where as the two sibblings were still burning with rage.

N:" yeh mera friend hai orphange mei mere sath tha phir 18 years ka hone k bad chala gya tha. Ab wapas aya hai." Nandini said with straight face. While niyonika nodded and welcomed him.

Ni:" chalo tum dono betho aur batein karo mei tum logon k lye snacks ly kr atti hon." Niyonika said lovingly while abhi looked at nandini for such cold behavior.

Abhi the moved towards manik and exchange pleasanties with him as the malhotra sibblings were calm after listening that they are friends.

Manik got an important call so he left while mukti left to help niyonika. Nandini and abhi entered in nandini's room.

Ab:" yeh kya tha..??" Abhi asked as soon as she closed the door.

N:" kya.. kya tha??" Nandini rather then giving answer threw a question at him.

Ab:" why u behaved so rudely.?" Abhi asked while nandini looked at him.

N:" kun na behave karon aise. Kisi ne mere bare mei socha jo mei sochon." Nandini reolied angrily.

Ab:" magar nandu." Abhi was about to say something but was cutted by nandini.

N:" magar kya abhi.. ab tum bhi sab ki tarhan mujhe hi blame karo gye.?" I asked him my voice showed how hurt im.

Ab:" nandini jo kuch bhi howa us mei aunty ki kya ghalti hai.?" Abhi asked.

N:" toh meri kya ghalti hai. Aik ne qeemat(price) lagaye dosre ne sooda kr diya. Aik ne khareedna chaha aur dosre ne beech diya. Saman ho na mei. Mere jazbat." Nandini shouted angrily.

Ab:" nandini tumhe toh manik ko thanks bolna chahiye us ne tumhari jaan bachai..." abhi said but before he could complete nandini cut him in-between.

N:" abhi.... out of my room... right now.." nandini said angrily and turned her face while abhi shook his in disbelieve.

Abhi moved out and found three of them sitting on sofa. Abhi also sat with them. After few minutes niyonika has to go out while manik got a call and moved out to talk. Mukti went to her room.

Abhi climb the stairs and walk passed nandini's room. He stopped on a door and looked around finding no one abhi opened the door and closed it immidiately. He released a loud sigh while mukti gasped.

Mu:" what are u doing here?" Mukti asked.

Ab:" woh.. woh.. haan actually mein nandini se milne aya tha. Its ur room i never know." Abhi said innocently while mukti raise her eyebrow

 
Mu:" really...!! Are u sure??" Mukti asked.

Ab:" off course.." abhi replied shrugging his shoulder.

Mu:" ok.. after 2 rooms from left is bhabhi's room. Now go.. as strangers are not allowed in my room." Mukti said in attitude turning her face and wrapping her hands on her chest while abhi looked at her and then back hugged her.

Ab:" ohhh.. So someone is angry." Abhi asked while mukti, she kept mum.

Ab:" waise.. u know someone was looking jaelous downstairs.?" Abhi asked teasingly.

Mu:" i was not jaelous." Mukti said hurriedly.

Ab:" but i was toh talking about manik. He didnt like me hugging is wife... wait a second u were also jaelous.?" Abhi said innocently and then teased her with his question.

Mu:" no Not at all.." mukti said and then looked at him. " abhi u are too bad. I hate u." Mukti said and moved away from his grip.

Ab:" but i toh love u." Abhi said pecking her cheek while red heat adorn her cheeks.

Mu:" abhi..." mukti said facing him while abhi took something out of his pocket.

Ab:" a mere gift for the most beautiful girl in the world." Abhi said sitting on his one leg. Mukti took it and and open the small box. And the moment she looked at the gift a loud gasp escape out of her lips.

Mu:" haaaaaaan... Oh my God..!! Such a beautiful ring." Mukti said looking at it. "Oh no abhi.. u know kal he mei ne aik magzine mei yeh ring dekhi thi.." mukti said excitedly. "But abhi this was a limited addition.?" Mukti asked confusingly.

Ab:" bas dekh lo tum ne socha aur mei ly aya.." abhi tried to flaunt his smartness but mukti looked at him. "Actually US se atte howe meine socha k mujhe tumhare lye kuch lena chahiye toh i went for shopping. And there i found this. U know it was looking good in all." Abhi said while mukti looked him with open mouth.

Mu:" good.. this is good.. this is best abhi.. this is so beautiful." Mukti said making him understand.

Ab:" but its nothing infront of u." Abhi said while making her wear the ring. Thats when mukti realized that he was still sitting on his one leg.

Mu:" oh my God..!! How could i just forget. U are sitting on ur one leg from so long." Mukti said worriedly making him stand.

Ab:" Tumhare liye toh mei sari zindagi aise beth kr inteezar kr sakta hon." Abhi said lovingly while mukti looked him with utmost love in her eyes. " Mukti I just wanted to be with u. Its really difficult for me to stay away from u." Abhi said holding her hand and caressing her knuckle .

Mu:" Us k lye toh Tumhe Mom aur bhai se mera hath mangna ho ga ." Mukti said as she moved a little closer moving her hands  from his chest till his shoulder and then moving her one hand towards his hair. While abhi looked at her in surprise.

Ab:" Sirf haath ka kya karon ga mujhe toh tumhara sath chahiye." Abhi said holding her waist and pulling her towards him a little more close removing the little distance. while mukti looked away shyly.

Ab:" waise I was thinking k ab mei yahan aa hi gya hon toh kun na lage haath humari shaadi ki baat kr lon. Waise bhi im sure jeeju ko mera saala banne mei zaida problem nhi ho gi." Abhi said while mukti jumped in happiness.

Mu:" really tum bhai se baat krne wale ho. Pata hai abhi mujhe bohat bura lagta tha jab mujhe bhai se jhoot bolna parta tha." mukti said sadly bending her head down in guilt.

Ab:" hey hey... Don't cry.. Mukti mei janta hon k Tumhe kitna bura lagta tha but mei manik ko kuch bhi bolne se pehle apne pairoon per kharah hona chahta tha. Mei khud ko tumhare qabil banana chahta tha." Abhi said lovingly holding her face in his palm.

Mu:" acha bohat ho gya ab jao yahan se is se pehle kisi ko pata chal jaye.. NIklo mere room se bahar." Mukti said pushing him out of the room. and close the door after abhi vanishes from her sight. She looked at the ring in her hand and again a blush adorned her face. She hide her face in her palm. and looked at her reflection in the mirror. 

After dinner abhi left Malhotra mansion while manik and nandini moved towards their room. Manik sat on the couch to complete some important work while nandini moved towards the balcony. Standing there she tried to absorb the cold breeze as much as she can. Todays heated argument with abhi has mage her upset as she never fought with him.

Where as Mukti was standing near window in her room and thinking about the beautiful moment she shared with abhi. They met first time  3 years ago when mukti was 22 and abhi was 27. At that time abhi was struggling in his business. They met on an event and liked each other company. Slowly slowly they become friends. One year passed with their friendship blossoms every day and then after half year more abhi proposed her as he saw many boys advancing towards her. Mukti also reciprocated his feelings and he was really happy with this new found information. But he told her that he cant make their relation official as he first wanted to become something. That's how they started  secretly dating eachother. Mukti then slept with a beautiful smile adorning her face.

Days passed like this manik taking care of her abhi visiting her every now and then and also have a little romantic time with mukti. Mukti trying  to make a good relation with nandini. and niyonika was busy with a little work. In all this time manik never left her side. He was always there for her no matter how rude and cold she behaves. Dhawan's were also visiting to keep a check on nandini health and Abeer used to stick with nandini. Though nandini never talked to him or answer his question but still he used to talk non stop thinking she never stopped him from talking.

Abhi has talked to niyonika and manik about his proposal for mukti and both also told them the truth with apology as they don't want to start their new life on the bases of lie. Manik and niyonika agreed after manik conforming that abhi is perfect for his choti. Manik and Nandini's relation was still the same when ever manik used to talk nandini ignore him or rather became angry. still manik bring flowers and chocolates every time he come home. Nandini always used to left them untouched but manik never loose hope. Even nandini was shocked with his strength to bear her tantrums.

One fine evening all were down stairs including dhawan's and abhi. while nandini was still In her room. So manik asked them to
continue and he will just be back after a few minutes. Manik entered inside the room a found nandini sitting on the bed all ready.

M:" nandini tum ready ho toh neeche kun nhi aa rhi ho." Manik asked standing infront of her.

N:" mujhe nhi jana. Ab jao yahn se." Nandini said rudely.

M:' tum kabhi pyaar se baat nhi kr sakti right.?" Manik asked her while nandini stood from her place.

N:" han nhi kr sakti. Aur bohat takleef hai na mujh se toh chor do...." nandini said angrily looking in his eyes but before she could continue manik held her elbow pinned her to the wall and stands leaning on her. Nandini tried to escape from right side but he placed his hand on the wall stopping her. She tried to moved from left but he blocked her that way also. Now nandini was caged between manik arms. Nandini looked into his eyes angrily but shivered on her place seeing his red eyes showing extreme anger.

M:" DONT.... DONT U DARE SPEAK SUCH WORDS." Manik said in a threatening way with a dangerous tone. But nandini covered her fear soon.

N:" karon gi.. kya kr lo gye tum. Han mere zindagi toh barbad kr chuke ho tum ab aur kya karo gye. Oh let me guess maro gye mujhe. Maro gye." Nandini said hitting him on his shoulder and chest.manik tried to stop her but was not able so he hold her both hands in his and pulled her towards him covering the distance created by nandini pushes. Manik holded her nape in his hand and pulled her face closer to himself.

M:" mei tumhe kabhi khud se dur nhi jane don ga. Tum meri thi, ho aur meri hi raho gi. Tum per sirf mera haq hai. Tumhara khud ka bhi tum per itna haq nhi jitna mera tum per hai." Manik said angrily pulling her face his his. Touching their foreheads and nose almost.

N:" kis ne diya tumhe yeh haq.? Koi haq nhi hai tumhara mujhe pe samjhe." Nandini said more angrily holding his coller in her fist and pulling him towards her. Their heavy breaths mingling and heartbeat fast due to anger.

M:" tum mujhe aik chance kun nhi deti. Humara rishte ko aik chance de kr toh dekho. Aik baar plzz aik baar." Manik said as helplessness suddenly took over him and nandini also looked it his eyes forgetting her anger. Thats whrn both of them realized their proximity. They were so close to eachother, holding eachother tightly. Suddenly both looked in eachothers eyes and manik start bringing his face a little more closed covering the little distance remained. Nandini was so lost to understand whats happening. Manik bring his face closer to her's and tilted it. Their lips almost touching.

But before they kissed eachother suddenly a loud girly voice calling manik's name broke their trance. They both drifted apart.
Manik was cursing the person where as nandini was cursing herself for losing self control in front of manik. Nandini turned away while manik left the room. As he reached down stairs a girling figure pounced on him hugging him tightly saying.

G:" I missed u so much baby." The girl shouted in over excitement.

Oh my God..!! Yeh kya ho gya. Mukti and abhi already couple nikle.
And abeer isnt he cute???
Manik and nandini were about to share................ but yeh kon aa gya beech mei...???
Yeh larki manik ko baby kun bula rhi thi..
Ab kya ho ga...
