Nandini came out of her thoughts when the bell rang. Nandini ran outside to welcome manik. Nandini opened the door for manik.

N:" Good afternoon manik." Nandini wished him smiling brightly and manik who was losing his tie being tired from a hectic day he smiled watching the seen he wished to see every evening.

Nandini took his lapton bag and remove his coat and putting them on sofa she moved towards the kitchen while manik fell on the sofa stretching his body to relax. Nandini came back from kitchen with a glass of water and passed it to manik. Manik start drinking water while nandini start massaging his shoulder while applying pressure and asked.

N:" bohat thaak gye hain kya.?" Nandini asked while manik smiled and said.

M:" thaak gya tha magar tumhe dekh kr sari thakan dur ho gyi hai." Manik said holding her hands and bringing her in front making her sit on the table and himself sitting a little forward facing her. And caresing her face with the tip of fingers he said.
"U dont know how much i missed to see such evening where u are waiting for me while a bright smile." Manik said lovingly while nandini blushed a little.

N:" acha ab agar buttering ho gye ho toh jaye fresh ho jaye." Nandini said standing from her place and moving away while manik smiled and moved towards the room to freshen up.

Dinning room

Everyone was seated on their respected chairs when niyonika spoke.

Ni:" toh ab jab sab theek ho gya hai toh tum dono ka honeymoon per jane ka kya plan hai.?" Niyonika asked while everyone got attentive and mukti got a topic to tease her bhai and bhabhi.

Mu:" han  mom aap bilkul theek keh rhi hain. Arree aap dono ka kab jane ka irada hai honeymoon per. Bachon k bad.." mukti said teasing them smirkingly. As now both will blush due to shyness and embarrassment.

N:" arree per hum soch rhe thy k tumhari shaadi k bad jayein gye." Nandini said smirkingly while mukti blushed and both manik anc niyonika laughed.

M:" Mrs. Soon to be thakkar aap Mrs. Malhotra se muqabla na hi kare toh acha hai." Manik said putting his hand on nandini's hand while mukti's face was not ready to leave the blush. And niyonika smile watching her kids happy after so long.

After dinner both manik and nandini plan for outing while nandini went down to take niyonika's permission which she happily gave.

Beach
9:30 PM

Manik and nandini both were walking on beach. Such that water waved were touching their foots while cool breeze of air touching their faces. Both were holding eachother's hand tightly. Moon was shinning brightly as if snatching all the light from the sun. Suddenly manik stopped which automatically stopped nandini's motion.

M:" mujhe tum se kuch kehna hai." Manik said while nandini looked confused first but then nodded her head.
"Nandini mei yeh nhi kehta k tumhari life mei aaj k bad kabhi koi problem nhi aye gi but mei yeh wada krta hon k tum us problem ko kabhi akele face nhi karo gi.
Mei yeh nhi kehta k mei kabhi gussa nhi hon ga magar mei wada krta hon k aisa kabhi nhi hoga k mei tumhare manane per mano nhi.
Mei yeh nhi kehta k mei kabhi naraz ho kr morh kr jaon ga nhi magar mei wada krta hon k aisa kabhi nhi hoga k mei  tumhare pas wapas na aaon.
Mei yeh nhi kehta k mei tum se har lambhe apny pyaar ka izhar karon ga magar mei wada krta hon k mei tumhare alawa kabhi kisi se mohabbat ka dawa bhi nhi karon ga." Manik said all this lovingly looking in her eyes and caresing her face with his finger tips. While nandini ador him.

N:" aur mei yeh dua karon gi k ankhen meri hon aur ansu tumhare hon. Hase meri ho aur hont tumhare kr de." Nandini said replying to his reply.

This was indeed a new and honest way to propose a girl while the reply was the most beautiful reply from a girl for a boy.

After spending some more beautiful moment the left for home.

Manan room

Manik and nandini both were slepping peacefully in eachother arms when morning ray fell on nandini's face. She opened her eyes to see the most handsome face ever. She cares his face and get up from her bed.

After freshening up she waked manik up. Manik after kissing her forehead moves towards washroom while nandini kept his clothes neatly. Manik after changing was knotting his tie when nandini came and start knotting his tie while manik hold her from her waist and provide her support. He bend a little and nuzzle his face in her partially wet hairs enhaling the sent of her body mixed with the body wash and shampoo. Nandini giggled as she felt tiklish.

After knotting his tie nandini took his coat and helped him in wearing that. Manik was about to go out when he stopped.

M:" oh noo.. mei kaise bhool gya." Manik said and looked at him.

N:" kya bhool gye manik." Nandini asked while manik took out his wallet and took some money out from it. He extended his hand towards nandini.

M:" yeh lo." Manik said.

N:" yeh kya hai.?" Nandini asked confusingly.

M:" paise hain." Manik reply as a matter of fact.

N:" woh toh mujhe bhi dekh rha hai manik per aap yeh mujhe kun de rhe hain.?" Nandini asked

M:" lagane k lye aur kis lye. Tumhe zarorat parh sakti hai." Manik said while nandini looked at him.

N:" manik mei yeh... nhi.. le.. sakti... i .. mean ..mei kaise.. le .. sakti ..hon.. yeh paise." Nandini said fumbling with words. While manik looked at her.

M:" i know nandini tum aik self made woman ho. Aik independent woman and trust me main bohat respect krta ho is baat ki magar nandini mei tumhare mom aur mukti k lye hi toh kamata hon. Aur agar tum log hi lagao gye nhi toh kaise chale ga. Nandini mei aik husband ki responsibility ko pura krna chahta hon. Jaise tum aik wife ki responsibilities ko pura kr rhi ho.
Nandini ab baat tumhari ya meri nhi hai humari hai." Manik  said and nandini once again felt proud of her right decision. She nodded having tears in her eyes while manik kissed her forehead and then kissed her eyes shooing the tears away.

Manan room

Nandini was sitting in the balcony staring outside thinking about her life when manaik came from back and sat exactly behind her putting his chin on her shoulder and hand around her stomach. Nandini became startled for a second but soon calm down recognizing his touch. Both were looking out when nandini said.

N:" manik mei aap se aik baat puchon.?" Nandini asked.

M:' han pucho jaan." Manik replied lovingly.

N:" manik mei ne laye baar note kiya hai tum apni diary per kuch likhte rehte thy. Kya likhte thy." Nandini asked him.

M:" toh tum mujhe itna note krti thi aur phir bhi aise pretend krti thi jaise kabhi kuch notice hi na kiya ho. Jaise mei matter hibna krta hon. U behave like i am
Mr. X." Manik said in a complaining matter and nandini smile.

N:" off course.. ab mei aap ki tareef kr k toh yeh show nhi kr sakti thi k mei aap ko ignore kr rhi hon." Nandini also said resting her head on his shoulder little turned so that she could see his face and hands on his hands which were resting on her stomach.

M:" acha ji.. yeh bilkul sahi hai." Manik said making his grip tight while looking at her smiling face. Which was half visible to him.

N:" acha na ab topic change mat karen. Bataien na kya likhte hain aap us diary mei.?" Nandini asked stubbornly while manik looked here and there.

M:" woh.. woh.. actually woh mei songs compose krta hon. I mean diary mei lyrics likhta hon." Manik said not looking into her eyes.

N:" really toh aap songs bhi likhte hai.?" Nandini asked excitedly.

M:" kabhi kabhi.. thore se.. yun hi bas.. time pass krne k lye." Manik replied fumbling.

N:" manik gaa kr sunaye na." Nandini asked him while manik lookef at her.

M:" arree nandini itna acha bhi nhi gata mei woh toh bas yun hi." Manik replied saving himself from her this wish.

N:" kya manik aap meri itni se baat nhi maan sakte. Jaye mujhe aap se baat hi nhi krni. Theek kehte hain log jab tak larkon ko bhao na do har baat mante hain chahe unhe utna khara hone ko hi kun na kaho. Aur jaise hi unhe haan keh do toh khane per ly jany per bhi nakhre krte hain." Nandini said faking sadness and complaining.

M:" nandini tum itni bari ho aur phir bhi kaise bachon ki tarha shikayat kr rhi ho." Manik said teasing her.

N:" aur tum bhi itne paise hone k bawajod bhi kitne kanjoos ho. Waise kitna paise  earn kr lyte hon." Nandini first said angrily and then asked innocently.

M:" nandini tumhe kisi ne bataya nhi k aik mard (man) se kabhi us ki income nhi pochte." Manik replied teasing her again.

N:" acha toh tumhe kisi ne nhi bataya k kabhi kisi aurat se us ki age nhi puchte." Nandini also replied.

Both looked at eachother for a while showing anger in their eyes and then after few minutes they burst into fits of laughter.

Suddenly rain start pouring and nandini after looking at the little time droplets continously falling on the ground.

N:" manik....!! Barish..." nandini shouted excitedly while manik looked at her glowing face. Nandini entangled herself from manik and ran towards the opening where rain was pouring. She was dancing and jumping when suddenly the sound of music or should i say tunning of guitar was heard by her. Nandini turned only to find manik holding guitar and playing it like an expert.

" mei ne tumhe pehle baar yun hi barish mei bheegte howe dekha tha nandini. Aur ussi lamhe mujhe yaqeen ho gya tha k tum hi woh ho jis ka mujhe intezaar tha." Manik said while nandini ador him through eyes.

Saying so manik kissed her forehead then both her eyes.
The he asked for permission eying her lips and when she closed her eyes he kissed her. The kiss was passionate, true love and what not. This kiss held their togetherness in future..
