Okay, so I really don't know what to say after such a long break, and to be really very honest, I don't have a solid reason for this delay except the same old line "Due to my studies!" And now,today I got a short break from everything and from tomorrow I have to get back to my studies again, so thought, why not to write a chapter and make some of the people happy? :) And sorry for the delay in suspense ;)
And trust me you all will be shocked to know the truth, coz all your guesses were wrong, it's neither ManBir nor AbhiMan ! Read below, to find out!

And there were the people because of whom we did that, the backstage people of the plan, whom we didn't imagine would be here to save us, they were Akshay Sir & his team ( Surprised or Shocked? Don't know who are they? Then let me tell you that this Akshay is the same person with whom NavNi used to talk to about plan, for more information, refer to the previous chapters :)

"Akshay Sir! "

I and Navya both exclaimed at the same time as we gasped seeing them coming, and butterflies were fluttering inside our stomach as the pace of nervousness was increasing minute by minute and we didn't really knew what will happen in the next few moments....

Akshay Sir, gave us an affirmation that he was ready with everything and gave us a thumbs up indicating, we did a good job! And I felt proud of myself, I did something in my life, and I could tell this to everyone including Amms. I and Navya slowly backed away giving Akshay Sir and his team access at the front.

"We hired them, to take care of all the criminals like you who were supplying drugs and taking the young public in this trap of yours! And now my dear Mister, you two are under arrest ! Please, cooperate or else we have to take strict action! Your game is over! Now it's our turn."

Akshay Sir spoke confidently, no wonder he was a strict yet patriotic officer of the country, sometimes, I wish to salute him but the next moment he scolds me and my minds diverges from this thought.

I smiled confidently, as our victory was obvious and no doubt, our mission was successful and I looked at Navya to find her completely awestruck seeing the boldness of Akshay Sir and was looking quite surprised.
And the next moment, I remember Manik, Oh my, he might be searching for me, I need to go to him, and I think I can leave as the situation is under control. I slowly pull Navya with me as I take her to the hall with me and see everyone having dinner, Manik and Cabir were also standing here and I heard Manik saying to the waiter "Bhaiya, paratha toh acha hai par butter itna kam? Thoda aur lagao na.."

No wonder he was a punjabi and most importantly a dedicated foodie! I chuckled to his dialogue and he heard me and smiled sheepishly while Navya went towards Cabir and I, towards one and only The Manik Malhotra .

"Where were you? Huh?"

He spoke with his voice laced with worry and concern and I don't know why, hugged him suddenly, it was a involuntary action, I didn't knew the reason behind this but for me this was the moment in my life and I wished the time stopped and we remained like this but unfortunately I had to break this hug because of a voice which called me and it was Akshay Sir
And I had no option but to go with him and I could sense the irritation of Manik as he saw me going with him but couldn't say anything to neither me, nor him.

"Well done Miss Nandini Murthy and Miss Navya Naveli! I am happy we are successful in this mission and all credits go to you! Your reward is deposited in your account, and finally, you two can both enjoy your own life, no limitations, no college student life! Happy? "

I was enjoying his words till he came to the college student life sentence?I was not able to digest the fact that I had to leave this life which had become my life now, which was actually Manik. I can't stay the same Nandini Murthy now, the student. And he would no longer be my professor. But wait a second, isn't this cool? I mean there will no barrier like a student teacher and we could be a normal couple. Ha, that's nice!

"Thank You Sir for this opportunity, and everything! Now, sir if there isn't something important, then can I take your leave? I need to do something really urgent!"

I spoke hastily, and Navya glared, probably thinking what could be important in my life that she doesn't know and nudged me but I didn't gave a reaction.

"Yeah, sure! I just wanted to inform you that those criminals are now behind the bars and you don't need to worry! It was nice working with both of you! Have a happy life!"

He spoke and walked away and Navya stood in front of me hands crossed looking a bit grumpy.

"What is so important in your life that I don't know?"

She spoke and the instant reply came from my mouth was

"Manik!"

And he mouth was in a O shape now as she gasped and cupped her mouth making me nervous but still I managed to keep my calm and casually spoke

"What's there to get shocked about? I love Manik! And now, this mission drama is over, I am going to confess to him about my feelings!I am going to tell him about this mission and all"

And her reaction became worse, she came to me and checked my forehead,and cupped my face making me irritated and frustrated.

"Are you in your senses? You will tell him the whole mission drama? And do you think he will be able to digest the fact that you lied to him about your identity? The person who is claiming to love him, lied to him! And second thing, you were indirectly spying on him, Akshay Sir asked to keep your eyes on him, and maybe that's the reason you both came close..."

"But, I was adamant on the fact that Manik had nothing to do with this from the beginning, you remember right?"

"And you think he will believe you after knowing you lied to him?"

And, I was at loss of words! I don't know what to answer her, yeah she was right indirectly but what about my feelings that I could no longer keep it to myself, what should I do?

Navya came to me seeing me confused at to what to answer,

"I am also sacrificing my love because of all this, I know it is hard Nandini, but it's better to bury all these feelings deep inside then giving him a chance to hate you, I love Cabir, Nandu! But I don't want to lose the few moments we have before going back to Mumbai. Enjoy with him, these moments will not come back!"

She patted my shoulder and walked away inside the hall while I stood there cursing my fate, I have to do this, I have to part ways from him after reaching Mumbai, I have to forget, I met someone named Manik in my life!
I have to forget my first and last love.
