I m gvg the update bt mentioning first only that I don't know anything abt hindu rituals apart from some kind of normal basic knowing from Indian serials coz i m not from that caste isliye watever I m writing might not be actually rituals bt it's a story write n I m not anything vulgar or against the rituals so plz don't get upset or disappointed with this update or any other chp in which I might have to update something related to traditions or rituals I hope I m clear n not wrong if in case u ppl have any prob or not comfortable tell me I will find a way for it anyway enjoy the update

Talking to chachi Nandini n chachi got Back to their work

It was just 15 mins wen they were done with all the work bt than door bell rang n chachi got up to open the door

Opening she allowed a strange lady to walk in n made her sit on the sofa comfortably gvg her water she said to her

Cha-aap Nandini de start kijiye Mei aati ho

Nandini was confused bt than chachi said

Cha-chal nandu Mehndi laga le yeh zaruri hota hai aaj

Not knowing much abt it Nandini agreed n came n sat in front of the designer

The Mehndi designer started removing her stuffs wen Chachi ordered the lady

Cha-iski Mehndi dulhan jaisi laga na ek dum aachi

Saying this she walked out n the designer started applying Mehndi to Nandini just a lil more below from elbow

After 10 mins chachi came out with 2 puja thali n keeping it on the table she was finally cross checking it getting satisfied she turn to Nandini n lady n saw that the lady was applying Mehndi on Nandini wrist of left hand so she came near them n said to the designer

Cha-yeh wale hath pe iski Mehndi mei ek naam bhi likna "Manik"

Lady-ji thik hai

Bt Nandini instantly said

Nan-chachi yeh sab kya kr rhe ho naam n all

Cha-arey aacha hota hai yeh sab aur waise bhi aiyappa ne usse teri lakiro mei likha hai toh apne hatho mei Mehndi se likhva ne mei kyu sharma rhi hai

Saying this turned back to go away wen she heard Nandini soft whisper to the designer

Nan-naam hindi mei likhna

The designer bobbed her head n than chachi left smiling brightly

After 1/2 he Nandini was done applying Mehndi on both her palms n back side wen chachi came to her ready in all her red saree n make up sitting in Nandini's position she said to Nandini

Cha-abhi sona mat nandu thodi der mei mandir Jana hai puja k liye

Nodding her head Nandini sat on another sofa taking rest n letting her Mehndi dry

After 1/2 hr chachi was also done so asking Nandini to pay her as her hands were dried they payed the lady n she left

It was tym to go to mandir so chachi asked rishab to help so he was holding their thali n money n keys n the trio left

By the tym they reached the temple Chachi's henna too was dried paying the auto driver they climbed the temple stairs while chachi explained that she gave to pray for manik's well being long n peaceful life n than chachi took her thali n they walked in

Gvg their plate to the priest they prayed watever they were suppose to while Nandini wholeheartedly prayed to god to give manik all the happiness n peace of this world to keep them together n his long life to give her strength to protect him from all evil n stand strong whenever he falls weak

After she was done with praying the priest gave back their plates to them n Nandini noticed a yellow n red combined thread ball in her plate she looked at chachi coz earlier it was not there in her plate

Seeing her confused chachi smiled n said to Nandini to follow her n she did

Cmg out of temple they came near the tree that was around there n many ladies were rotating around that seeing her chachi said to her

Cha-yeh dhaaga manik k naam pe iss ped pe laga le aur uski salamti ki dua mang yeh bhi ek rasam hai

Gvg her plate to rishab Nandini climbed that circle near tree n tied a knot with another thread n started wrapping the whole thread on the tree constantly praying for Manik n chachi also prayed for chacha

Once they were done they came back home while on the way chacha called up chachi n said that they will go out for dinner today after breaking her fast n he was unaware of Nandini's fast

Cmg back home Nandini asked Chachi placing back her plate

Nan-chachi varth k baad kya khana khayenege toh woh bana lete hai

Cha-Tera chacha ka phone tha unhone kaha aaj bhar jayenge lekin tu varth kaise kholegi tune Manik ki toh bataya hi nhi hai uski puja kare bina aur chehra dekhe bina teri puja puri nhi hogi aur tuje uske hath se hi pani pina hoga na ab kya karegi

Nandini was in a fix now wat to do coz telling Manik might be difficult n not completeing the puja n fast as per rituals might void her fast she was thinking bt than said

Nan-ek kaam krna chachi aaplog chale jana mei keh dungi k mei thak gayi ho fir aaplog aaoge toh mei so jaungi too chacha ko bhi pata nhi chalega

Cha-woh sab thik hai nandu lekin Tera Khana Manik ko......

Before she could say Nandini stopped her in btwn n said she will manage agreeing to her she said her to take rest

Cmg up to her room n sitting comfortably on her bed she looked at her hands filled with henna n than his name she was busy adoring him wen her phone rang flashing his name taking her phone in her hand she picked up the call n immediately said

Nan-sau (100) saal jiyoge tum

Hearing her Manik smiled n blushing asked

Ma-aacha aur aisa kyu

Nan-I was just remembering u aur tumhara phone aagaya

Ma-aacha toh khud hi phone kr leti

Nan-haan I just got free n was.......

She was thinking how to say abt the Mehndi thing she was lost in her thoughts wen manik's voice snapped her back

Ma-n was

Nan-kuch nhi tum batao tum kya kr rhe ho

Ma-nothing was jamming n missing u badly bt I m helpless to come to u to see u

Nan-haan aaj woh varth hai na rig isliye

Ma-yeah yeah that stupid varth (Manik said that coz it was not letting him to meet her) I don't understand wat logic is that wife is hungry n husband gets long life

Hearing him all the hope n courage to say him Abt her fast got crashed n Nandini became sad than talking something different Nandini was gng to ask him abt his lunch bt stopped mid way coz if she will ask than the same question he will also ask n than she will have to lie to him finally ending the call with a sad heart Nandini laid down n started seeing his name on her palm n unknowingly drifted to sleep

For Manik the day was to heavy coz he couldn't see Nandini for the whole day n that is why he came home all tired he entered his room n getting fresh he came to his bed n all that he could remember was Nandini his room was now completely covered with her touches his bed his wardrobe his switches his restroom everything reminded him abt her he was smiling n saying to himself

Ma-everything in this room make me remind of u Nandini it is becoming difficult for me to stay away from u I wish I could just stick u to me forever n ever

Saying this his eyes fell on the wind chime that she had got for him walking over there he came infront of that n started playing n adoring it soon butler came with snacks n he ate that

It was 7 of evening wen chachi came n woke up Nandini after she got up chachi said to her n asked also

Cha-ja apni Mehndi Nikal le aur tune Manik ko bola

Hearing her Nandini remembered manik's pov n was lost bt chachi got her back n asked

Cha-kya bova

Nan-haan.......chachi abhi nhi bola Manik ko aap joage fir bol dungi Mei Chand Nikal ne se pehle

Seeing Nandini not meeting her gaze with her's chachi was getting doubts on her bt dint show to her while Nandini left inside the bathroom to remove her Mehndi

Soon she came down n chachi saw her henna colour which was the darkest shade of maron so she took her hand n said to her

Cha-haye nandu teri Mehndi ka rang toh kitna gehra hai Manik itna fida hai tuje pe muje pata nhi tha abhi rang Aisa hai kaal toh rang aur bhi chadega haye kitna pyaara rang hai Tera

Hearing all this Nandini blushed bt soon chacha arrived n they composed themselves

Chnging from his office wear chacha demanded some snacks n while munching that he noticed Nandini's henna hand n asked furiously

Chacha-nandu ne Mehndi kyu lagaya

Chachi n Nandini were a lil nervous bt than chachi came up with idea n said to Chacha

Cha-woh Mehndi wali aayi thi na toh aane jaane ka fare bhi lene wali thi toh paise proper use ho isliye Nandini ko Bhi Mehndi lagva li

Hearing that is money is saved chacha smiled n said

Cha-aacha kiya shanno ji kitni pyaari hai iski Mehndi

N again started munching his food while chachi mischievously winked at Nandini n both giggled silently

It was 8.30 n chachi was complaining of being hungry bt Nandini for once dint say anything it was not that she was not hungry bt she thought that complaining to god might lack her part in the fast

It was 9 pm still moon haven't come out n here Manik was eating his food until he was full

At 9.30 the moon came n chachi hurriedly took chacha to terrace while rishab n Nandini followed them

Nandini was kneely watching wat chachi was doing to open her fast as she dint knew how to do that she observed chachi seeing the moon with the strainer n praying to god n than looking at chacha doing her puja applying tika n than taking his blessings by bowing n touching his feet n than chacha made her drink water n than made her eat sweet

Than they came down n chacha enthusiastically asked them to get ready as they were gng out bt Nandini denied n said that she was tired with the day event n chacha gave in

After 15 mins they all left the house leaving Nandini alone n Nandini came to her room laying down n seeing manik's photos in her phone coz if she will call him she might say him the truth n Manik does not like all this

She couldn't even drifted to sleep coz first she left till evening n second she was hungry from more than 12 hrs

Here after n almost 1/2 hr chacha Chachi n rishab reached a restaurant in jolly mood laughing n cracking jokes bt down the line chachi was worried for Nandini coz she doubted her reasoning

She was thinking n thinking n suddenly n idea popped her mind so she gvg a lame excuse to Chacha came a lil away from them n dialed manik's no

Manik was lazily laying on his bed as he had nothing to do without her wen his phone rang he thought it might be Nandini bt than seeing the caller id he frowned n than picked up the call

Ma-hello chachi

Cha-hello beta kaha ho tum

Ma(confusingly)-ghar kyu

Cha-hey bhagwan muje pata tha

Hearing her Manik was a lil confused so he asked

Ma-kyu kya hova

Cha-hova........Nandini ne tumhe kuch bataya nhi yeh ladki bhi na

Hearing such sentence Manik became curious to know wats happening n asked

Ma-kya nhi bataya

Cha-arey woh pagal ladki ne tumhare liye varth rakha hai

Hearing this Manik jerkingly sat up on his bed n listen to Chachi who was continuing

Cha-subhe se kuch nhi khaya hai usne aur pata nhi tuje kyu nhi bola ja ghar pe akeli hai woh aur tere hath se pani piye bina woh varth nhi khol payegi waise bhi Chand nikal k ek ghanta hone aaya hai jldi ja aur uska varth khulva

Manik immediately replied

Ma-ji chachi

He ended the call n said with a pinch of guilt in his tone

Ma-yeh ladki ohh god aise kyu Krti hai

Saying this he hurriedly stood up n quickly wearing a proper tshirt he left to her place taking his keys

Driving at a fast yet safely speed Manik reached her home Parking the car he runningly came to the door n started ringing the bell continuously

Nandini was laying on the bed n thinking abt Manik wen she heard the continuous ringing of bell so got up started thinking who it might be at that point if time bt than chuckling her thought she came down n opened the door

Opening the door she saw Manik panting heavily so she cupped his cheeks n said worriedly

Nan-Manik kya hova tum itna haf kyu rahe ho

Bt Manik replied

Ma-tumne Barth rakha hai

Hearing this she looked down removing her hand from his cheek n remained silent while Manik holded her shoulder a lil strongly n said a lil loudly

Ma-bolo Nandini have u

Looking at him she whispered

Nan-haan

Hearing yes he tighten his jaw n said a lil softly

Ma-ohhh god Nandini kyu

Not getting any reply Manik again said

Ma-forget all that comes let me break ur fast

N without waiting for her he enters inside dragging her with him to the table whr a jug of water was filled n glass were placed

Filling one glass he turned to her n bringing the glass near his lips he said

Ma-drink

Bt Nandini immediately palmed the glass n said

Nan-nhi aise nhi

Ma-wat nhi Nandini yeh.......

She placed her finger on his lips n said

Nan-wait

With this she left inside in kitchen whr her puja thali was made taking that n filling a glass of water n placing a sweet in the plate she came out lighting up the diya in it

She came to Manik n held his wrist after making him keep the glass on the table n dragged him out
