The day at office for Nandini was amazing, less work, introducing new people in her life and staying close to her dad the whole day. They came back home to be greeted by a bored Meera.

Coming home Nandini hide herself in her mother's warmth. Meera had informed Malhotra's that Nandini needs time to think about the wedding and she handled the situation for now.

Later they were having dinner and that's when the bell ring. Abhi got up from btwn his dinner inspite of butlers being around. Soon the Murthy's saw Abhi cmg back with a box in his hand. Later they notice that it was a cake box. Keeping it on the table abhi said to Nandini.

A-tere Manik ne bheja hai.

Nandini replied with slight whine in her tone.

Nan-woh mera nhi hai okay.

Just then her phone beeped and a message was received from Manik. Nandini opened it and was reading it carefully. She was so much lost in it that she didn't see Abhi behind her who started reading his message loudly.

A-since you joined the office.......a sweet treat for you.........specially when you love cakes😉.

By the time Nandini realised Abhi's presence and could hide her phone. Abhi has read the message for everyone. Except from Nandini everyone had a smile. Abhi sat on his place along with saying.

A-deewane hove jaa rha hai woh tere piche...... aur tu hai k usse tadpa rhi hai.

Abhi said this because everybody knows that Manik is the best human being in this era. Murthy's knew that if Nandini choose Manik as her life partner she would be blessed.

While his this statement became a worry for Nandini, the remaining dinner she had it with frowns as she was worried of Manik's reaction on being rejected.

With worry,she came to end her day. A week passed like this. Nandini didn't meet na Kk neither she have given her final answer. Malhotra's were dying to know the answer while Nandini seemed to be extremely chilled out.

It's been a long time since Mukti and friends met Abhi. Today at the office hours they were chatting in group that they should meet since they are free tonight. Even this thought cross them that they can even let Manik and Nandini meet and maybe they get the answer.......a positive answer.

So with this plan they fixed to meet at the club tonight. Abhi informed Nandini about it and they were getting ready to leave for the club. On reaching there, they met and greeted each other. Ordered drinks and food and were chatting about their week and other stuffs.

After a brief time, the gang signaled each other to leave Manan alone which was noticed by Nandini. Soon with something or the other excuse, the couple's got away from them leaving behind a curious and nervous Manik.

After they left, for few moments Manik didn't move from his place but then at one point he did. He came beside Nandini with a smile and soon heard her.

Nan-so they purposely left us.

Manik got numb on being caught and that's when Nandini said.

Nan-Manik.........

Her tone was soft yet different, while Nandini continued after taking a short pause after his name.

Nan-listen.........I am yet not sure with my answer.........I still need time........but......

Her "but" made Manik's heart to beat fast.

Nan-but you need to know.........that if it's a no........you won't take it to your heart........ think of it as a normal proposal.

Manik get heart broken, so with a doubt he asked.

Ma-is your answer a no?

Nan-noooo...........I am not sure yet.........but they way everybody behaves around us makes me feel that your feelings towards me have gone to a step ahead than needed.........I don't want you to have high hopes..........we can and we will be friends.........that's for sure......i don't want you to suffer coz of me........and don't think that my answer is a "no".........it can be a "yes" too.

Her last answer bought a small smile on Manik's face. He looked at her with hope and then got relaxed. After a moment he said.

Ma-don't worry.........I can help you in changing your answer..........like I have ways to make a no in yes.

Nan-are you making it a matter of pride or a bet thing?

Nandini asked with some strong yet decent authority to which Manik immediately said.

Ma-noways..........i meant........if you want we can spend some quality time........in this way you can get to know me better.........your mom dad know me well........so i am sure they might not be having any problem.

Nandini smiled at his efforts and than said.

Nan-sorry........but i joined office........so you know i am busy.

And she made a sarcastic sorry face which Manik could recognise immediately. They were interrupted by the gang who came back with a thought that Manik might have got the answer.

When they reached to them, they could feel things btwn them as normal as they had left. Being confused cabir through his eyes asked Manik abt the answer and Manik spoke through his eyes that he didn't get the answer. This conversation was seen vey everyone, even Nandini.

After spending some quality time together, they ended the day. Next day Nandini was at office working when she received a bouquet from Manik. It had a card which said.

Ma-it's not a try to impress you........just a small sweet gesture for you........

Nandini smiled and accepted the bouquet while heartedly. Like this another week passed with Manik sending some or the other gift for Nandini.

It was Sunday, Nandini had decided to visit an orphanage in Lonavala. It had many reasons. Firstly she wanted to visit the kids as she had a wish and had bought gifts for the kids, she wanted to give them asap.

Second she wished to drive for a long distance and third, she wished to spend some alone time out of her city. So on Saturday night informing her parents, she left early at Sunday morning.

Driving through the hills leading her to Lonavala, calm and sweet atmosphere, cold breeze and some line time, she was enjoying the drive.

While on the other hand, while coming to the breakfast table, Mukti had a conversation with Abhi and then she got to knew that Nandini is on her way to Lonavala. Mukti reached to the table saying.

Mu-Lonavala.........nice.......okay bye.

Nyonika frowned at this and asked Mukti once the call was ended.

Nyo-kaun jaa rha hai Lonavala?

Mu-jaa nhi rha..........chala gaya.

Nyo-kaun.........?

Mu-Nandini..........she's gone to some orphanage or so.........alone.

First Nandini's name attracted Manik and then the alone word. His eyes sparked immediately and rolling a paratha he started rushing towards his room. Seeing him running nyonika yelled to let him hear.

Nyo-ab tu kaha jaa rha hai?

Pausing his chewing but still running Manik said with his mouth full of food.

Ma-Lonavala...........

And soon he was out of their sight. Manik got changed quickly and rushed down again. Rolling 2 more parathas he left kissing nyonika's cheek. Since everybody new the craze of Nandini for Manik, they knew where he is going in Lonavala.

While coming out in haste, Manik catched one of his driver gently, then wrapping his arm around his back he said.

Ma-chal........

Since he was younger than Manik that's why he said it in a friendly rather than giving respect like to elders. The driver himself was confused with Manik's hasten pace and got more confused when Manik made him sit at the passenger seat rather then asking him to drive.

Manik hit the road at a fast speed yet being careful. While Nandini reached the orphanage. Seeing a car coming in, made everyone that someone had come to visit them. The kids gathered at a place while a caretaker went in to inform the mother abt a guest visit.

Nandini on the other hand got done just with her hand bag. She looked around the calm and cold weather of Lonavala and then she looked at the big bunch of kids looking at her in surprise. She smiled and waved at kids who some of them replied her back with smile or with smile and wave both.

Soon the mother came to Nandini, seeing her coming close, Nandini too walked in further and soon both the ladies came face to face.

Nan-good morning.........

O-good morning........how may I help you.......?

Nandini smiled and replied softly.

Nan-my name is Nandini.......i just came to spend some time with the kids and also bought a few gifts for them........

O-ohh......please come in.

Nandini smiled and then saw the kids, then she opened the trunk of her car. Seeing so many gifts all the kids ran towards the trunk shouting and screaming in excitement.

All the gifts were same, so their size were same plus they were wrapped in one type of gift paper so there was no chance for any kid to get upset or fight with each other regarding a better gift.

Now that Nandini gave gift to them, she became their favourite. Few kids came to them and held her hand, this bought a smile on Nandini's face. Looking her being so polite the kids wished to get mingled with her and that's why they started talking to her.

The kids introduced themselves to Nandini and vice versa, then they took her in. Nandini was enjoying the company of kids. She would hear to each one of them. Few thanked her for the gifts and she didn't stretch it.

She helped a few in opening the gift wrapper and explained a few that how those colours work (she had gifted them a set of pastel and water colours) so she was showing them.

A few kids asked her to play doll game and Nandini readily accepted their request. She got so much lost in playing with the kids that she never realised the time. She forgot all her stress seeing the kids.

On the other hand Manik reached soon to the orphanage. Thanks to Mukti who helped Manik by asking abhi abt Nandini's location. So Manik's car entered the gate of the orphanage. Seeing a posh car entering in, Nandini who was busy btwn 2-3 boys, solving their problem, looked up to see who came.

Seeing Manik getting down from the car, she was surprised shocked. She didn't expect him to be here at all, while on getting down, the first person Manik saw was Nandini but soon he moved his gaze and looked at his driver who got down from the car as well.

Fishing out lots of money from his wallet, Manik came to his driver, forwarding the key and money he said to him.

Ma-aas pass ya kahi pe bhi dhundo........aur bahut saari Choclate's le aao........aachi wali badi badi.........

The driver being the honest person agreed. He took both the things from Manik and then sat in the car. The car was moving backwards and Manik was moving ahead.

While walking towards Nandini, Manik was getting lost in her and then suddenly his mind made him alert abt Nandini's outfit.

He realised that he is looking at her in Indian outfit for the first time and he couldn't move his gaze away from her. He realised that Nandini has been blessed that she looks gorgeous in every type of dress.

His steps halted and Nandini could see his constant gaze on her. For mins they both stood still at their respective positions.
