Nandini was getting extremely anxious to see the face of that person, she was so lost in him that the sound of hooting and clapping faded for her, and the music that was being played seeped down deep in her heart. Now she will never forget this tone.

Just when she was lost, the guy turned around and all the lights were on. Seeing his entire frame her breathe hitched for once. She saw a tall man in a black suit with a fair complexion, a sinfully handsome Greek God and the mole above his lips was the eye-catcher.

While Manik turned around with strumming his guitar and moved his eyes to look at his parents but his eyes stopped on the angel standing in the maroon gown beside his parents.

Her big doe eyes that were watching him only seemed extremely innocent. Rest of her face he couldn't describe coz he just couldn't move his eyes from her's.

Unknowingly he started descending the stairs and started singing the song getting lost in those deep eyes.

Reaching the hall he removed his guitar and handed to the first person he could see and walked in her direction unknowingly. Manan couldn't realise anything around them as they were completely lost in each other.

Manik stood in front of Nandini for once and took her hand, he started walking backwards and Nandini being in the trace started walking with him. He came at the centre of hall and yanked her closer by her waist and started moving their bodies slowly.

Everybody saw this and were amused, while the family members were shocked + surprised + unknowingly happy, seeing Manan dancing. Nyonika and Shashank could see the gleam in Manik's eyes while Nandini's parents were going with the flow.

Manik twirled Nandini around and started dancing fully. Mixing all the dance styles. Heavy dance steps kind off and they just couldn't move their eyes from each other.

Nandini caressed Manik cheek in btwn and their touch sended shiver down their spine. They resumed their dance and the guest were enjoying such a smooth dance.

By now aryamaan had joined the party hall and the first thing his eyes saw was Nandini's bare back which got exposed accidentally due to dancing and now aryamaan was curious to see her face.

Nandini turned around and her angelic face made aryamaan go mad and he wanted her beneath him screaming in pain. While Manik's friends were enjoying seeing him mingling with a girl by himself and their dance. Nobody could say that they met just now.

The song ended and both were breathing heavily due to dancing but their eyes were still locked, they were bought back by the clapping sounds of the guest. Nandini was the first one to move her gaze.

She looked behind Manik and saw many people, while Manik was still looking at her but was back in the world. Nandini came out of his hold making Manik feel empty and then walked away leaving him alone.

Still Manik's gaze followed her and at one point Nandini turned around to see him again. Seeing her turning Manik blushed but hided with his smirk and Nandini walked away.

She was finding a place to go but dashed with Abhimanyu and she mentally thanked God. While Manik walked towards his parents as of nothing happened. Cmg to his parents whose attention was on him only, Manik touched their feet's and then hugged them wishing.

Ma-happy anniversary mom/dad.......

Nyonika holded his ear and twisted it saying.

With that he winked at nyonika to which Shashank said.

The trio giggled, they were disturbed by Mr Khurrana and Soha.

With that Manik touched his feet and Mr Khurrana blessed him. Once he moved away Soha jumped on Manik saying.

S-what a mesmerising song baby........

Manik never liked Soha's touch, he always cringed when she came near to him and today also he can't take it. He very politely thanked her and came out of her hold. He searched for a rescue and his eyes fell on his friends who were having a gala time without him.

Manik excused himself and aryamaan met the elder Malhotra's. His friends were laughing and chit chatting with their drinks. Manik rubbed his palms and joined them.

Ma-huh.......wassup guys.......

They all turned around to see Manik, they all smiled at him and met him. Except from abhi and Nandini everyone was present there. The exchanged pleasantries and were chit chatting.

That time only abhi and Nandini joined the gang. Abhi had got Nandini to introduce her to everyone. Seeing Nandini Manik smiled beautifully and Nandini too got lost in his eyes again but she quickly moved her eyes away from him owing to the surroundings.

Ab-guys.......meet my little sister.....Nandini.

Nandini waved at everyone and said.

All together-hey.......

Ab-Nandini.......yeah cabir hai.

Cabir and Nandini forwarded their hands for handshake. Shaking hands cabir kissed Nandini's knuckles and said.

Ab-this is Dhruv.....

Same way Dhruv met Nandini and complimented her. This way abhi introduced Nandini to everyone. Lastly he introduced her to Manik.

Manik gave her a tight smile and Nandini quickly took her hand back from his hold and was avoiding to look at him. The rest of them were talking with her, abt her studies and future plans and all. She was interrupted by her parents and Nandini walked away from there excusing herself.

Manik's attention was just on Nandini all the time and he couldn't keep away from blushing and smiling like a fool.

On the other hand Nandini came to her parents who was introduced her to Singhania's. Seeing Nandini the elder Singhania smiled while Madhyam was least interested but still met her.

Nandini stayed with them for a good time. After that her parents got banished to meet someone and Nandini was left behind unintentionally. Now she was in dilemma...she can't go to abhi coz there was Manik and her parents were busy with other's.

Her thoughts were interrupted by aryamaan who approached her.

Ar-hie......I am aryamaan.

With that he forwarded his hand to her and Nandini was forced to shake hands with him. She gave her hand and by the touch she got a very bad and negative vibe, that she immediately pulled her hand back.

Nan-I am Nandini........

Before they could exchange words Harshad too joined them and met Nandini. Nandini didn't like him as well but they were having a forceful conversation with her.

From far away Manik saw Nandini stuck with the 2 boys. He could see the irritation and discomfort in her eyes so he placed his glass and walked in style towards them. Reaching there he huffed to gain their attention and then came beside Nandini. Next he wrapped his hands around her back and pulled her close to him.

Ma-hello guys......I hope you are enjoying the party.

Both the boys gave a tight smile to Manik which didn't go unnoticed by Nandini and they replied positively. After that Manik said.

Ma-I hope you don't mind me stealing the beautiful lady.

And without waiting for their reply he took Nandini away from them. As soon as she was away from there, her body released all the tension that had built in her unknowingly and then she moved away from Manik's hold.

This caused them both to stop and then Nandini said gathering courage to look at him.

Nan-thank you.......for the rescue.

Ma-anytime......beautiful.

Then he waited for her reply but nothing came as Nandini was hiding her gaze from him but Manik didn't wanted the opportunity to go so he said once again forwarding his hand in front of her.

Ma-hie........I am Manik Malhotra.

Nandini looked at him to find him smirking and she just wanted to wipe that off from his face which is why she decided him to show the actual courageous Nandini.

Nan-ohhh......toh woh aap hi hai......Manik Malhotra the singer.

With that she placed her hand on his for a formal handshake. Manik didn't let her hand go and replied back with the same confidence.

Ma-kyu.....aap ne pehle kabhi muje dekha nhi.........

Nan-nhi.......sirf sunna hai.

With that she pulled her hand from his hold with an attitude. Manik smiled at her and looked away while Manik smirked. After a moment he leaned closed to her ear and said.

Ma-waise aap nachti aacha hai........

Nandini looked at him and then said with the same playful tone.

Nan-aap nachate aacha hai..........

Manik smirked again and again silence crept btwn them. After a few mins Nandini said.

Nan-waise aap ki aawaz bahut meethi hai......

Manik again leaned closed to her and whispered softly.

Ma-mujse zayda meethi aawaz aap ki hai......

Nandini couldn't stop from blushing and that could be easily seen by Manik who smiled happily. Soon the cake cutting ceremony was announced and it was big rescue for her. She looked at Manik and ran from there blushing badly and Manik followed her with the same blush and smile.
