Next late at morning, Manik woke up. He was a bit tired as he wished to sleep more but he had office too. As he woke up, he huffed and puffed a bit, then he sat and rubbed his hand on his face to let go off the sleep.

Then he ruffled his hair and then bought his hand in front of him to look at the ring. Seeing the ring, all the engagement memories flashed in front of him and he smiled brightly.

Those memories boosted his spirit and he got down from the bed with a good mood. He got ready for his office and then came downstairs, he saw his family at the dining table, done with their breakfast. Mukti was the first one to see him. Seeing him she smiled brightly and said in a teasing tone.

Mu-ohhh dulhe raja........aao aao.

Manik in reply made a bad face for her and pulled a chair for himself, nyonika was in the kitchen, so when she came back she saw Manik on the breakfast table. She ruffled his hair and said.

Nyo-nazar na lage mere bacche ko.

Manik smiled and filled his plate with the half breakfast present at the table. Nyonika went to bring more breakfast for him while Shashank and Mukti were teasing him.

While at Murthy mansion, at regular morning, Akshay and Abhi left for office post breakfast but before leaving Akshay told Meera to not wake up Nandini and also she can take a leave from the office.

Manik and Shashank came to office and got busy in work. Those people who couldn't attend the engagement were calling Akshay and Shashank to congratulate them.

Nandini woke up at afternoon, as she woke up, she looked at the time to realise it 2.00 pm. She twisted and turned around and then sat on the bed. That's when Meera entered.

Me-uth gayi tu.

Nandini bobbed her head like a drunkard, Meera sat beside her and Nandini immediately laid down keeping her head on her lap. To which Meera immediately said.

Me-arey.........phir so gayi.........uth chal.

Nan-Haan bas 5 min.........dad kaha hai?

Me-office gaye hai.

Nandini yawned and said.

Nan-office........are they not tired?

Me-office bhi zaruri hai na.

Nan-Hhmm.........

Nandini stayed silent after this and Meera was caressing her hair and scalp. Her motherly touched made Nandini to sleep back but before she could fall into deep slumber, she heard Meera.

Me-chal teri 5 min hogai...........uthja ab.

Nan-maa yaar.

Me-yaar vaar kuch nhi..........chal get fresh....... sath mei lunch krte hai.

Saying that Meera walked out. Nandini huffed and sat on the bed. She moved her hair and then her gaze fell on the engagement ring. Looking at the ring for a very long time, Nandini mumbled.

Nan-Manik Malhotra it is.

Saying that she got down from the bed and went to take a bath. She joined Meera and they had a peaceful lunch. Nandini was hogging on food as she was damn hungry. In btwn her lunch she said cleaning her finger tips by her tongue.

Nan-maa........aaj raat ko woh fish curry banao na.........jo muje psnd hai........

Me-fish curry?

Nan-haan..........aur uske sath lachcha paratha aur jeera rice........yum.

And she moaned the taste of that food. Meera asked sarcastically.

Me-aur kuch?

Nan-ab aap puch rhi hai toh.........gajar ka halwa........aur pepsi bhi.

Me-Nandini........pepsi........? Seriously?

Nandini imitated Meera's style.

Nan-le pepsi mei kya burai hai.

Meera raised her eyebrows when Nandini acted like her and Nandini started giggling. Anyways, Meera left her insane daughter and called the butler. She ordered them buy few stuffs for the dinner.

After lunch, Nandini called Akshay and they talked for a while, then Nandini sat on the couch and started watching tv. She started watching the cartoon and was enjoying it. Meera joined her and said.

Me-tu bachi ki bachi hi rahegi.......cartoon kaun dekhta hai.......yeh umar mei!

Nan-ab cartoon mei kya kharabi hai........atleast  shame shame scenes se toh aacha hi hai na.

Meera's eyes went wide on listening that and she took her name as a warning.

Me-NANDINI..........

On this Nandini started laughing and Meera was like "kya hoga yeh ladki ka". While she was in thought process, a butler passed by and Nandini stopped him saying.

Nan-sunno.........muje pop corn bana k do....... please.

The butler agreed and left to make pop corn, while Meera looked at Nandini and said.

Me-Nandini.........tumhe bhi kitchen mei jaana chahiye.........

Nandini replied being busy in cartoon.

Nan-shadi k baad mom........

Me-shadi k baad kyu........abhi kyu nhi......?

Nan-aise hi.

Me-Nandini at least pop corn toh tumhe banana chahiye.......microwave hi toh krna hai.

Nan-exactly mom.......it's just microwave.

Meera sometimes get extremely worried with Nandini's this behaviour and this is one of those moments. She was extremely worried, which one part is right and one part is wrong as she is getting over worried.

The butler gave Nandini the pop corn and Nandini was busy munching that along with eating the pop corn. The whole day she did nothing, though she and Manik were constantly chatting but other than that she did nothing.

While in Khurrana mansion, it felt like somebody's is dead in the house. People were that silent. Though morning was a blast as soha almost broke half of the house. She cursed Mr Khurrana for not getting her engaged with Manik.

She cursed him more for being not so much rich, like Murthy's coz she knew that they can't held such a grand engagement ceremony, she felt low. Her curses just raged the fire in Khurrana. The whole day Khurrana was killing Malhotra's and Murthy's in his head.

Along with that, his mind was planning different ways to destroy Shashank. Aryamaan was busy in himself thinking of ways to grab Nandini at least for 1 night and also arranging a girl for tonight.

While on the other hand, at night, Akshay and abhi came home. Nandini ran and hugged her father. Then they started their usual talking, while abhi made way to the kitchen to look for Meera. He thought she would be filling the glasses for them but when he entered in, he saw her stirring something in a cooking pot. He back hugged her and asked.

Ab-kya bana rhi ho mom?

Meera told him the menu, to which abhi said.

Ab-WOW.........nandu k liye itna sab aur mere liye?

Meera slapped his cheek lightly and said.

Me-tere liye bhi briyani banai hai........

Abhi kisses get cheek and said.

Ab-your the best mom.

Meera giggled at it and then continued cooking. Abhi stayed by her side for a good time, then Meera told him to get fresh as she would serve the dinner soon. Abhi came and told Akshay too, to get changed.

Akshay left and then soon they gathered at the dinner table. Akshay was happy that Meera made food that Nandini likes. He told Meera that she did a nice work to which Nandini spoke to tease her.

Nan-mom ne nhi banaya hai........I mean I requested her to make this at dinner.

Ak-ohhh........

The dinner went on with lots of fun. Then after a small family time, they retrieved to their rooms. Malhotra's were too in their rooms. Since there was no reply from Nandini's side from a long time, Manik was waiting for her. Soon she replied and they started chatting.

Ma-aaj pura din humne ek dusre ko ek baar bhi nhi dekha 😔.

Nan-toh kya hova........hum kaal hi toh mile the........engagement pe you know.

Nandini teases him, she was enjoying it and was giggling.

Ma-that was 24 hours back.

Manik tried to be romantic but seems like Nandini was in a mood to tease him badly.

Nan-wrong Mr.......hum beach pe bhi gaye the........and came back early morning.......so it's not 24 hours yet.

Reading her reply, Manik face palmed himself and then wrote.

Ma-tum muje romantic nhi hone dogi na?

Nandini replied.

Nan-🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Ma-kash hum mil pate.........I could see you at least once.

Nan-hhhmm.......so sad.

There was no reply from Manik for a few mins and Nandini got confused. For a moment she thought he would come to her place but his chat showed him online. She waited for any action from his side but luckily she just received a text from him that said.

Ma-we can have a video call.........off course.

Nan-yes we can.

Ma-great........let's meet on skype.

Nan-okay.

The open their laptops and waited for it to get on. Meanwhile downstairs, in Akshay and Meera's room. Akshay was ready his book, when Meera came in her night gown, she sat on the bed in worry and Akshay looked at that.

He kept his book and turned to her and asked her the matter. Meera told him abt the afternoon incident of Nandini and pop corn. She knew that Akshay will take her side but at times, he explains her that she is thinking overly and it calms her and as usual Akshay said.

Ak-tum itna kyu soch rhi ho.........uski shadi ko abhi time hai........aur aisa nhi hai k Nandini ko khana banana nhi aata.........infact sabse zayda tasty khana banati hai meri beti.........aur sirf khana hi nhi.........ghar k saare kaam aate hai usse..........tumne jo sikhaya hai usse.........

Meera bobbed her head in understanding. While Akshay said.

Ak-aur usse apni life enjoy krne do.......humne hamare time pe enjoy nhi kiya tha!........though hamara time different tha.........but apne time se humne aachi life enjoy ki hai........so Nandini ko apne zamane se enjoy krne do.........plus meine yeh sab kyu banaya hai.......logo ko dekhne k liye nhi........apne parivar ki sahuliyat k liye..........and Nandini pe bharosa rakho....... woh kuch galat nhi karengi.

After this Meera relaxed a bit. Akshay gave her an assuring smile and they then slept cozily. While upstairs, Manan like stupid did on their Skype but they both didn't have their Skype id. They slapped their forehead together, Manik messaged her first.

Ma-tumhara id toh do.

Nandini in reply sent him her id, Manik sent a request on her id and Nandini accepted him and then their call got connected. The video call started and they both looked at each other. Seeing each other after a whole day, Manik was happy while Nandini was smiling.

For 5 mins, they both didn't exchange words, just kept looking at each other. After a long look look session, Nandini spoke first. She didn't have much to say that's why she asked him.

Nan-how was your day at office?

Manik giggled and frowned and then said.

Ma-seriously that's what you ask?

For a moment Nandini felt embarrassed, seeing her expressions Manik said.

Ma-office was good.........I was just thinking about you the whole day.

Nan-aacha........aur kya socha aapne?

Saying that Nandini kais down, stuffing a pillow under her twins and throat. While Manik just caught one word and he instantly said/asked.

Ma-aap.........?

Nan-Haan aap.

Ma-yeh suddenly tum pe se aap pe kaha aagai tum?

Nan-ohhh that.......actually I had this thinking.........that when I'll have be in a relationship for marriage.......mei apne would be ko aap keh kar bolungi.........kyu aap ko koi problem hai?

Ma-yeh formality ki zarurat nhi hai Nandini.

Nan-mei toh yahi bulongi........agar aao ko problem hai toh fir mei koi aur dhund leti ho..........jisse mei aap kaise saku.

Manik instantly screamed.

Ma-NAHI..........it's okay.........jo bola na hai bolao.......muje koi problem nhi hai.

Seeing his reaction, Nandini started laughing. Seeing her laughing Manik too started laughing.
