Murthy's reaches home and found Nandini sleeping, so they got changed and ended the day but it was not an end for a few people. Manik just couldn't sleep peacefully before meeting Nandini. So once everyone was fast asleep, he sneaked out of the house.

He reached Murthy mansion and found Nandini's room's window. He called her and woke her up. Nandini was in deep sleep when her phone started roaring. She got up to see Manik calling.

As soon as she picked up the call, Manik cut the call and climbed the pipe to reach her room. Nandini called Manik but he didn't pick up. Soon she felt a knock on the window. She switched on the lights to see a figure at the back of the window.

Being scared and confused she headed towards the window and carefully opened it. As soon as she opened that, Manik was ready to fall in anytime. Nandini panicked and immediately held his shoulder. With worry and concern in her tone she spoke.

Nan-Manik.......what are you doing here?

Ma-hie.

And he smiled like a fool. Seeing him like that Nandini whisper screamed.

Nan-what hie........and what are you doing here.......woh bhi itni raat ko........aur window se?

Ma-it's not that late. It's 12.30.......aur mei aaya tha to give you this.

Saying that he forwarded a red rose to her from his back pocket. Giving it to her he said.

Ma-thank you........for the yes.

Saying that he kissed her cheek quickly, so much that Nandini didn't expect something like this. She was surprised with the kiss. While Manik smiled and said.

Ma-bye.

Again he started leaving before Nandini could understand. She came close to the window and saw him climbing down the pipe and then leaving away. She looked at the rose in her hand to confirm about Manik's visit when she realised it she smiled.

She smelled the rose and smiled more brightly, she touched the place where he kissed her and felt his warmth and touch. Coming on bed with her hand still on her cheek. Nandini finally laid down to sleep.

Hugging the rose to her throat, Nandini slept with a smile. Next morning appeared soon for the world but not for nyonika. She was dying to meet Nandini. According to the mother's plan they were meeting at afternoon along with the priest to finalise the engagement date.

Everybody got ready accordingly. Murthy's were ready for office and were about to gather at the breakfast table when the door bell rang and soon nyonika and Shashank entered. Seeing them this early at home that too uninformed made them surprise.

Nandini had a frown on her face, while Meera and Akshay came out of their shock quickly and came to them. Abhi joined his parents and that's when Nandini realised that she have to go too.

Me-arey tumlog yahan?

Abhi came in btwn and touched their feet, to which Nandini too came and took their blessings. As soon as nyonika blessed Nandini, she cupped her face and said looking in her eyes.

Nyo-mei Nandini se milne aayi thi........mei apni excitement rok hi nhi payi.

Saying that she kissed Nandini's forehead. Murthy's smiled at the sweet gesture while Shashank said.

S-itni betab thi yeh.........nashta bhi nhi krne diya.

Akshay giggles along with Shashank and nyonika hit her elbow on his tummy. Then she removed her bangle/kangan and held Nandini's hand. Making her wear that she said.

Nyo-mei kabse yeh tumhe dena chahti thi.

Nandini was a hit hesitant coz it's expensive and of somebody else but now that it was in her hand and given by her in laws she had to accept it. One thing got clear for her and that was this was just the start.

Meera was happy to see nyonika accepting Nandini wholeheartedly. This cute scene was interrupted by Meera who soon said.

Me-aap log hamare sath nashta kijiye.

Nyo-zarur.........muje toh Nandini k sath time spend krna hai........uske liye koi bhi bahana chalega.

Everybody giggled except from Nandini and then they made way to the table. Nyonika sat beside Nandini and they were enjoying it. Nandini was happy to feel the same motherly warmth that she received from Meera.

The breakfast took more time than needed. After breakfast Abhi alone left for office as nyonika and Shashank were there. So Akshay stayed back so that they can complete the engagement planning today itself.

Nandini had to wait as well, so she got changed from her office wear to something traditional.

The parents were busy in chit chatting. Mukti joined them soon and then Nandini and Mukti were catching up.

Since both are friends via Abhi, so they have talked early too, so they were extremely comfortable with each other. They had lunch together. Mukti and Nandini together laid the dining table and then everybody joined them.

Post lunch the priest arrived at Murthy mansion. Both the mother's gave the kundli of their kids and then waited for him to say. In the meantime Nandini prepared tea for everyone.

When Malhotra's took a sip of tea made by Nandini, they were like, they haven't drank a tea like this yummy. Nyonika and Shashank exchanged a look and smile, sharing the blissful taste of tea. Soon the priest said.

P-sagai k liye 2 hafte baad 25 tarik ko raat k (annt) 8 baje k chobis (24)min ka muhurat shub hai...........

Meera and nyonika's eyes twinkled, they said to their husband's that the date is nice and that they are ready for it. They asked Nandini if she had any problem to which she denied. Finally the date was decided. The priest left and then everybody sat to finalise the things.

Venue, card, guest list, food, attire's and all. It took the whole evening to decide the places and enquire and book the appointments. Manik joined the Murthy's for dinner along with abhi.

Meeting the elders, Manik and abhi we're sitting with their parents while Nandini and Mukti were in kitchen. On getting to know abt Manik and Abhi's arrival. Nandini was getting water for them.

While for Manik, as soon as he entered the mansion. He was searching for Nandini but couldn't say it out loud. His eyes twinkled when he saw her, looking beautiful. He controlled his blush, very difficultly.

Nandini reached to them and offered the glass to Abhi and then Manik. When Manik was picking up the glass from the tray, that's when he saw his mom's bangle in Nandini's hand. Since Nandini's hand was empty, the bangle shined more.

He took that and Nandini moved away, waiting for the empty glasses. That's when Meera spoke grabbing everybody's attention.

Me-Nandu.........tum Manik ko lekar thoda waqt guzar lo........dinner ko abhi adha ghanta hai..........hum tumhe bola lenge.

Nandini was a bit shy and nervous, to add up more nyonika too agreed to Meera. Mukti took the tray from Nandini, so Nandini had to go away. Manik got up and Nandini lead their way to the swimming pool area.

Walking towards it, they were completely silent they wanted to talk but they were feeling shy. On reaching there and sitting, finally Manik spoke.

Ma-so finally that's in your hand.

Nandini looked at her hand to understand to what Manik was pointing and on understanding it she said softly.

Nan-haan woh aunty bahut excited hai.......and this all.......so.

Ma-thanks.

Nan-thanks kyu?

Ma-for accepting this proposal..........you have no idea that tumhari ek haan se mete ghar mei kitni khushi hai..........mom is on 7th heaven.

Nan-so you are not happy with this.........just for family.

Manik was a bit surprised by her bold comeback, he smirked and said.

Ma-last night.........didn't my action tell you about my excitement and happiness.

Nandini remembered flashes about last night and looked away blushing. Manik smiled at her expressions and then cleared his throat to grab her attention. Silence prevailed btwn them but Nandini spoke this time.

Nan-you know that we will have 5 years of courtship........i will not agree in mid to get married haan.........I am saying this in advance.

Ma-that reminds me.........that until we get married.......every week at one particular day we have to meet........not like not to meet regularly but that one day has to reserved for each other........come what may.

Nan-kyu?

Ma-see

Saying that he removed his phone and opened the calculator, then he said.

Ma-5 x 12 makes 60 months okay........ now one month has 4 weeks........so 48 weeks in a year.........so 48 x 5 makes 240 weeks........ so before wedding we have such a long time........ shouldn't we reserve at least one day in a week.

Nandini chuckled at his calculation. Then Manik told her a few things here and there and they got mingled in conversation but were soon called by Mukti for dinner. Manan got up to leave. Nandini was again walking ahead but soon stopped on Manik's call.

Ma-Nandini........

Nandini turned around to see Manik standing 2 steps away from her. She frowned in question to which Manik said sweetly.

Ma-can I hug you.........please say yes.

Before Nandini could say anything, Manik reduced the distance btwn them and hugged her. Being in the hug he said.

Ma-you are that one special person in my life that I can't live without.

Nandini was touched by his words. She hugged him a little back. Manik relaxed in the hug but soon moved away. To kill the awkwardness Nandini spoke.

Nan-you first ask to do anything than you request but eventually you do that thing before my permission.........they why do you ask for my permission?

Manik smiled at her sweet innocent complaint and than said.

Ma-bas aise hi.

Nandini moved her head and then they moved in. Coming in they sat at the dinning table and had food. During the dinner they finalised with Manan abt next day meeting the designers and also selecting the engagement ring. The night ended on happy note.

Next morning, nyonika and Shashank reaches at Khurrana mansion with informing. Seeing Malhotra's there Khurrana was shocked and so were his kids but they had to act so Mr Khurrana was a jolly and said.

K-arey aap log yahan? Namaste bhabhi ji.

Saying that he joined hands in front of nyonika and then hugged Shashank after receiving the answer from Nyonika. They settled in the living room when Khurrana spoke.

K-aaj subhe subhe meri yaad kaise aayi?

Nyonika said with a smile.

Nyo-hum Manik ki rishte ki baat krne aaye the.

Both Khurrana men looked at soha who was on sky high and Khurrana reciprocated with genuine happiness as he thought his plan is working, he asked to confirm.

K-sach?

Nyo-ji........Manik k liye ladki pasand kr li hai.

K-yeh toh bahut aachi khabar hai.

S-haan.........uski sagai bhi tay hogai hai.

Now Khurrana's frowned and Shashank said further.

S-Akshay ki beti hai na Nandini uske sath.

All the happiness from Khurrana's drained out and rage was feeling their senses but they had to keep calm. Nyonika started giving the details abt the proposal which was just adding fuel to the fire. Lastly Shashank concluded.

S-baki sab ko toh card de k batayenge........par tu toh yaar hai na mera Isliye tuje pehle bola........card dene phirse aayenge.

Before Khurrana could say anything Nyonika's phone rang. She said to Shashank that Meera is calling. She got busy in the call and then soon said to Shashank after ending the call.

Nyo-we have to leave........or else we will get late........bhai shab aap se phir se mulakat karenge.

Shashank got up and so did Khurrana's, Shashank came and hugged Khurrana who hugged back evilly. Soon Malhotra's left from there.
