Avoid mistakes if any.

Manan reached at Murthy mansion late at night. Both got down from the car and then Manik came to Nandini while the guard parked her car. Coming to her Manik spoke putting his hand inside his pockets.

Ma-it was a good day........i had a nice time with you.

Nandini blushed a bit and then said.

Nan-same here.

Silence prevailed btwn them, they kept looking at each other. After few mins Nandini said.

Nan-you should go Manik.......it's late.

Ma-hhmmm........yeah.......tum andar jao........ then I'll go.

Nan-Hhmm.......okay......bye good night.

Ma-good night.

With this Nandini left and Manik turned and gestures his driver to come close. Nandini closed the door and the driver came beside Manik. Lazily sitting inside, the car moved. Manik reached home and at both the places everybody were fast asleep. So Manan quitely got changed and slept peacefully.

A week had passed since the Lonavala day. Nandini had not gone to office today. She was resting in her room. In front of her, her novel was open but she was lost in Manik's thoughts.

There was an never ending smile on her face. Meera entered the room to talk to her but when she entered in, she saw a lost Nandini. To bring her back she even knocked the door but no response.

Chuckling at it, she came and sat beside her but Nandini was still lost. After a good 6-7 mins, Meera roamed her hand on Nandini's head and said.

Me-jab woh pehle se hi psnd hai.......toh ek mahine ka time kyu manga.

Feeling her touch bought Nandini back into reality and then listening her words Nandini was a bit surprised and said.

Nan-maa

Me-ho teri.........teri ankhein padh skti ho mei..........jab woh psnd hai toh fir.

Nandini blushed and then to hide the thing she said playfully.

Nan-aise hi thodi haan bol deti.........usse pata hona chahiye k kis se shadi ho rhi hai.

Meera slightly hit her back shoulder and said.

Me-pagal...........chal ab mei tere papa ko bolti ho k teri haan hai.

On this Nandini blushed bad. She looked down and Meera left with a happy smile on her face. Nandini was feeling jitters when she thought that how would Manik react on getting to know the answer. While Meera dialled to Akshay.

A-hello.

Me-Akshay........Nandini ne haan bol di.

A-kis chiz k liye?

Me-ohhho........arey shadi k liye.........Manik se shadi k liye.

A-pakka usne haan bola.........ya tumne force kiya hai.

Me-uffo.........mei bhi uski maa ho..........sirf tumhi uske parent nhi ho.

A-haan thik hai samj gaya........thik hai fir Malhotra's ko call kr dete hai.

Me-nhi........mei soch rhi thi raat ko unke ghar jaate hai..........Nandini ne itna time liya hai jawab dene mei.........hume at least jawab k liye unke ghar jaana chahiye.

A-thik hai........jo tumhe sahi lage.

Me-thik hai mei nyonika ko inform kr deti ho.

A-okay.

Akshay was ending the call when abhi entered his cabin with a file. Seeing Akshay like that he asked.

Ab-kya hova dad? All good?

A-haan.........tumhari mom ka phone tha....... woh keh rhi thi k Nandini ne haan bol di shadi k liye.

Abhi was happy so he asked to confirm.

Ab-sach?

A-yes..........so unke jawab dene k liye aaj raat Malhotra's k yahan jayenge.

Ab-okay.

On the other side Meera called nyonika and.

Me-hello.......nyonika.

Nyo-Meera.......how are you?

Me-mei thik ho.........tum batao........tum kaisi ho.......ghar pe sab thik hai na.

Nyo-haan haan sab thik hai.

They talked a few mins of here there and then Meera said.

Me-aacha aaj raat tum ghar par ho........actually hum aaj aane ka soch rhe the.

Nyo-haan haan ghar pe hi hai.......waise koi khaas baat thi?

Meera deliberately sounded a bit negative so that they can surprise Malhotra's at night.

Me-nhi koi important baat toh nhi thi.

Nyo-aacha thik hai.........dinner pe milte hai.

Me-okay.

The call got ended and nyonika got nervous while Meera was giggling. Nyonika called Shashank and told abt Murthy's visit and then told Mukti too. She asked the butlers to cook dinner accordingly.

Meera on the other hand was busy preparing for night. She called for an exotic Indian sweet. Extremely fresh. Murthy men's came early so that they can reach on time. Nandini was not going to accompany them, for obvious reasons.

Well, as soon as Akshay entered the house, Nandini came to him, they sat in each other's embrace and then Akshay asked politely.

A-Nandini tu sure hai na iss rishte k liye........ koi zor zabardasti nhi hai..........

Meera chuckled at it and abhi was beside her, while Nandini said.

Nan-dad.......I am happy with the proposal....... but if you don't wish to send me then also I am okay.

A-woh toh hai hi........Malhotra's se mei bol dene wala ho k 5 saal pehle shadi toh hone se rahi..........

Nandini giggled and Akshay joined her. Then they decided to get ready. Soon Murthy's left for the dinner at Malhotra's.

Shashank and Manik were home early too. They got ready on time, Malhotra mansion was cleaned, it was not decorated but it looked different. All Malhotra's were ready too. Waiting for Murthy's.

Well they were nervous coz nyonika had told the rest the tone of Meera and her fear of rejection of proposal. It wouldn't have been a big thing if Manik's feelings were not involved. Being a mother she didn't wanted her child to be hurt.

Anyways Murthy's arrived, they meet each other, Mukbhi and Manik took blessing from the elders. They saw Nandini not present and that's why they asked.

Nyo-Nandini nhi aayi?

A-ji woh nhi aayi.

Being a mother she felt all sort of negative thoughts. She tried to stay calm and smile but couldn't. With an excuse she left in the kitchen and Mukti followed her. In the kitchen.

Mu-mom are you okay?

Nyonika's body was nervous which could been seen and then her tone added more to her feelings. Palming her lips she said.

Nyo-Mukti........Nandini nhi aayi.........yeh log pakka mana kr denge.........hey bhagwan.

Mu-mom stop and relax..........we are not sure of it........just calm down.

Nyonika bobbed her head but she couldn't relax completely. Anyways they had to go out. So they came out and then both the families got involved in conversation.

Manik was expecting Nandini but when she didn't, he was a bit sad but the night began. Later they all had dinner. While Nandini watched movie in her laptop after the elders left, had dinner and then got fresh calmly. Changed and came to bed and was reading the novel.

Everybody had dinner at Malhotra mansion. Due to talking and having fun, nyonika forgot the tension and she was enjoying a lot. Last part of the meet when Meera and Akshay looked at each other and decided to start the proposal thing. Being determined Meera spoke.

Me-nyonika........hum yahan kuch kaam se aaye the.

Hearing this all the worry in nyonika came back and she became nervous while rest of the Malhotra's were nervous to but not to the level of nyonika. Anyways.

Nyo-kya kaam?

Meera huffed tiredly and then looked a bit disappointed and said.

Me-Nandini ne apna jawab de diya hai......... hum ussi k silsile se aaye hai.

Nobody from the Malhotra's could form a word and understanding their turmoil, Meera said very very casually.

Me-Nandini ne haan bol di hai Manik k liye.

But Malhotra's were non reactive as they didn't understand the words first but when they did, their eyes sparked and a bright smile appeared on their face. Nyonika got up in a jerk and asked.

Nyo-sach?

To this Meera smiled and got up with same enthusiasm and said coming close to nyonika.

Me-sach.

Both the ladies joined their palms with each other. Happiness knew no bounds to them. Happy tears glisten in both the mother's eyes. They hugged each other and at their back Abhi patted Manik's back to make him come back to reality.

Manik was on the other level of happiness and he had too. After all it's been a month he is waiting for the answer. Until moments before he got the answer. The proposal for him was like a morsel that was close to his lips. If he gets a positive answer he gets to taste the food but if no, he didn't have a heart to leave it.

Anyways when he came back to reality he got up from his place and abhi hugged him, congratulating him. Behind Abhi came an over excited Mukti who hugged him saying.

Mu-bhaiiii.

Manik's heart was slowly slowly absorbing that everything was a reality. Breaking the hug with Mukti, he came to Akshay to take his blessings as he was his soon to be FIL.

Manik touched his feet and Akshay blessed him, then he patted Manik's back who was rising up. As soon as he stood straight Akshay took him in a hug and again patted his back.

Breaking the hug with Akshay, Manik made way to Shashank who was equally happy. Both of them hugged warmly and closely. Being the hug Shashank whispered in Manik's ear.

S-see i told you..........congratulations.

Manik too replied in whisper.

Ma-thanks dad.

While all this was happening, the ladies were in other scenario. After a very long yet quiet eye lock, both the ladies hugged each other and silent tears made way from their eyes. Breaking the hug nyonika hit Meera's arm and said.

Nyo-jaan buj kr juth bola na mujse.

Me-tumhe surprise jo dena tha.

Both the ladies squealed like school girls and said in an over excited tone.

Me/nyo-ab hamare bacche ek rishte mei honge.

To which abhi replied.

Ab-aap k bacche already ek sath the.......me and Mukti.

Both the ladies turned to the rest while Mukti joined Abhi and said.

Mu-true........ab nayi jodi ban gayi hai toh hume bhul gaye........not fair mom.

But these things didn't affect anybody, instead nyonika said.

Nyo-meethai........mei meethai lekar aati ho.

She turned to go but Meera stopped her and said.

Me-meethai yahan hai.

With that she came back to the couch and picked up the fancy bag that she had carried along. Opening the box, Meera got a piece of sweet and came to nyonika.

Me-Mubarak ho.

And she feeded the sweet to her, in return nyonika feeded Meera and they hugged again. Again at the back, Akshay and Shashank feeded each other with exchanging greetings. Abhi and Manik too exchanged sweets.

They all feeded sweets to each other and then settled back. Meera and nyonika started planning the entire wedding but Akshay told his condition of 5 years. Shashank agreed coz when they had gone to Murthy mansion with the proposal they had offered the 5 years courtship btwn Manan.

Unwillingly both the ladies agreed but then they summed up by requesting for a grand engagement ceremony. Which everybody agreed. So the ladies started planning for that.

The night was concluded with the thing that next day both the ladies will meet the priest and decide for an engagement date. In btwn this nyonika did ask that why they didn't get Nandini when they knew the answer and all stuff.

After Murthy's left, nyonika was literally dancing in happiness. Nandini was going to be her DIL and Manik's first and true love will not stay incomplete. Anyways the day ended soon for Malhotra's but with a happy note.
