"You love her alot no?!" Nandini asked as she glanced at a sleeping Suhasi. They were returning back home and Suhasi was asleep on the back seat.

"More than my life! I can do anything for her..kuch bhi!" Manik said as Nandini stared at him

"Stop staring at me like that Ms Kashyap else you'll fall in love" Manik said with a smirk. Nandini immediately moved her gaze to the side.

"I..uuh., I was just.." She stumbled with words

"Admit it. You're interested in me. You like me Ms Kashyap, don't you?" He said but Nandini was just numb.

"Do I take your silence as a 'Yes'?" He asked still Nandini remained quiet. She smiled a bit and rest her head on the window glass

Something was happening..

Was it just 'something'

Or....

More than something..?..!

"Do you want some medicine? You're not able to walk Ma'am" Jai said with a concern as he held Vishni. He had dropped Vishni home and now they were infront of Kashyap mansion's gate.

Vishni wasn't able to walk properly as she had drank a lot!

"That's okay Mr Jai, I'm not drunk." She said lowly, trying to stand still

"Btw, why did you let me drink the whole bottle? You could have stopped me no? That wasn't right of you haan!" She let out a chuckle. She was about to moved inside when Jai's words made her stop

"Do you trust me?" He asked. Vishni faced him, with a confuse expression on her face

"Why do you trust me Ma'am? I've been with Mr Kashyap for the last twenty five years! He's like a benefactor to me! He trusts me more than his family. And if I tell him what you told me earlier then you exactly know what the consequences can be." He said all clearly that he would tell everything to Mr Kashyap but instead of being afraid, here Vishni was smirking, like seriously??

"I know, you won't do that though." She said with a smile. How could she be so sure? He can do that right!

But will he actually do it? Will he tell everything to Mr Kashyap?

"Why do you think so?" Jai raised his eyebrows, wanted to know her answer

"Because you like me Mr Jai, From a long time ago..! you started to love Vishni even before Mr Kashyap did." Jai stayed stunned. He liked Vishni?! Damn! Then he won't tell Mr Kashyap anything for sure.

"I knew you fell for me the very first time when we bumped into each other, the day I came to the office. Your eyes were on me only!" She said all with a smirk. She slowly leaned to his face and placed her lips on his! She kissed him while he remained still, stunned! He didn't responded either

What kind of girl was she?! How could she just kiss Jai when she was going to be Me Kashyap's wife! God, this woman was really grhh!

"If you wanna tell him, go tell him then.." Vishni said as she back off. Jai was still in shock! Ofcourse, he would be as he wasn't expecting this atleast! He turned and left from there.

Just then when Vishni was about to get in, she heard a cracking voice. She turned only to find Manik!

Manik's Pov

I was driving back to Kashyap mansion

I just hope I don't get to see Her face! I glanced aside, Nandini was already asleep & even baby bear was in a deep slumber! I put on the brakes just a little away from the mansion when I noticed..

Vishni...with someone! He was trying to make her walk properly

Ah..she was drunk! I could guess it by her way of standing only! But what was she doing with him?? Before I could register anything, she kissed him.

I tighten my grip on the car wheel. I couldn't believe that, she was the one whom I loved..?!!

Oh god Manik!!

Few minutes later, the man left and I instantly stepped out from my car. She looked at me with wide eyes,..

Expected reaction though!

But no matter what, I won't be weak infront of her! Manik Malhotra can never be weak infront of anyone!!

Manik came out, he ignored Vishni and marched to the other side of the car. He opened the door of the passenger seat

"Nandini..we are here! Get up" He whipered slowly, caressing her hair

Vishni was just giving topsy turvy looks. She couldn't hear what Manik was saying and due to the window's black shade, she wasn't able to see who was inside HIS car

"Nandini.." Manik shook her, to wake her up but Nandini held his arms and just pulled him a little close to her face, making Manik stupefy

"Manik no. I want---sleeep...." She said in a sleepy tone. Damn! Did she know what she just did?

"Okay fine.." He shook his head and scooped her up in his arms. He stared at her angelic face. Nandini was looking cute though

As Manik walked forward, Vishni boiled in fury, seeing Nandini in HIS arms

Why? Was she jealous now?

"Ahh..Nandini; wake up now. See we are infront of your mansion." He said sternly, still ignoring Vishni

Well He didn't want to speak to her

Nandini slightly opened her eyes, and stared at Manik who was already gazing at her. She smiled but then it vanished when she realised something

"What..what am I doing in your arms? Manik put me down!!!" She said loudly and started struggling to step down . Wasn't she feeling good in being in his arms?

"Shh! Don't shout at this time atleast!" She stayed quiet as Manik made her stand. She looked at a fuming Vishni and again at Manik

"Was I asleep?" She asked, Manik nodded. "It's odd that I fell asleep in someone else's car!" She said. Well yeah, Nandini Kashyap never fell asleep in anyone else car! But what happened this time? Totally opposite!

Perhaps that 'someone else' was becoming her 'Close one' ?

Perhaps....

"I guess, I'm done here. Take care, bye!" Manik turned to leave

"Nandini, where were you??" Vishni asked in an irritating tone but this time, Nandini disregarded her

"Manik!" She called him as she quickly walked towards him. Vishni couldn't handle it anymore and she went inside

"Hrrmm..Thank--Thank you.." She said with a smile "This is how I should thank you, right?"

"Wow! Nandini Kashyap thanking me??? That was unforeseen huh!" Manik smirked and was about to get in his car when

"Let's see each other again.." She said, she wanted to meet him..again!

"Suddenly I got curious about 'Manik Malhotra'! So let's meet tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, let's meet.." She added.

"At what time should we meet each other tomorrow?" Manik asked almost instantly

"Umm.. in morning, the minute we wake up." She gave a quick reply

"Where will you be after you wake up?" He asked again. Wow! They were actually talking so friendly!

"Let's just meet Manik, See you.. goodnight!" She said smilingly and went inside, leaving a grinning Manik behind

Nandini's Pov

I don't know why but I want to..! I want to meet him!

Manik Malhotra..,

Why am being so curious about him? Why I want to be with him? Why am feeling like I'm falling..

Falling..?! Seriously?! God! Get a grip Nandini..

Next morning

Nandini was getting ready for office. She was all time smiling, admiring her reflection into the mirror

"Hmm..Nandini Kashyap, you're looking perfect huh!" She said to herself

(Nandini's attire)

Nandini was wearing her heels when there was a knock at the door

"Come in." She turned to the side and found, Vishni.

"Oh...Ms soon to be Mrs Kashyap in my room!" Nandini exclaimed "Why? I mean, you don't usually come to see me here so how come all of a sudden?"

"C'mon Nandini, I have the right to come to see you atleast right!" She said softly. Why was she here? Something was playing in her mind!

"How well do you know that guy?" She asked as she marched ahead close to Nandini. "How did you meet that guy who drove you back home last night? Do you even know who he is?"

Nandini frowned at her "Since when did you start caring so much about my personal life?" She added, maintaining a serious tone.

"How far did you go with that guy?" Vishni raised a question again

"What do you mean by how far Ms Vishni..? You saw it all last night! And btw, why are you asking me these questions?" Her frown deepened

"Oh..I guess you didn't find him attractive, did you? I'm trying to hit on him. He's young and undeniable handsome too!" Nandini said, crossing her arms around her chest

"He didn't look like a nice guy" Vishni added

"Is that so?" Nandini asked, almost immediately

"Nandini!! He knows who you are, doesn't he? That's why he approached you. I know those types!" Vishni justified

"Oh those types, I see! People like Vishni?" Nandini let out a small chuckle. She was taking it as a joke

"Are you going to be sarcastic now?" Vishni was being serious, she wanted Nandini to be away from Manik

"Fine. Then I will put on a serious face and tell you, even if he approached me knowing who I am, I don't care!"

"Ek baar..just think once Nandini.." Vishni put her hand on Nandini's shoulder. She was actually having concern for her?!

"I'm Nandini Kashyap. I'm not afraid." Nandini jerked her hands away

"It's you who will get hurt Nandini. You're going to get hurt and cry.." Vishni left the room, leaving an annoyed Nandini behind

Nandini reached at office. She was marching hurriedly when, she bumped into someone. She was about to fall but HE prevent her from falling down

"Manik, tum!" She stared at him, they looked into each other's eyes. Seems like time and space had no meaning..

He carefully made her stand, but his watch got stuck with the back of her shirt.

"Turn around, I'll detach it." Nandini nodded. Manik was trying to detached his watch from her shirt. Thankfully, there wasn't any employees at the place yet

"Be careful okay! If anything happens to my shirt no then I'll not leave you!" She mumbled in a determined tone

"Yeah yeah, I know! Nandini Kashyap can do anything right!" Manik chuckled. He was tried to pull it out with his full force., but in this process, Nandini's shirt got a little torn

"Oh sh!t!" Manik murmured

"Manik!!! I'll kill you" She instantly gave Manik a deadly glare

"Goodmorning Ma'am" It was one of the employee

"Yeah, urhm..morning!" She grinned at him. The man left after giving her weird look. Nandini was standing, with her both hands behind her back.

Manik's hand was behind her back too as his watch was still stuck there

"Let's go, come!" He dragged her to the nearby lift. Both entered the lift and the lift door got closed. Manik pressed the button of the lift on standby

"Turn around" Manik said

"What are you doing now?" She moved her hand to the lift buttons but Manik held her hand

"I said, turn around Ms Kashyap. For your kind information, my watch is still stuck with your shirt!" He made her turn and he was now facing her back

"Manik, don't pull any stupid stun okay! If my shirt get fully torn then.."

"I know! You'll not leave me right and I don't want you to leave me either!" Nandini smiled at his words, Manik full concentration was on detaching the watch

"It's done!" Manik finally got successful to detach it.

"Thank god!" She sighed and pressed on the lift button "Btw, why are you here?"

"Didn't we plan to meet up in the morning?" He said, making her smiled to the fullest

"I'm so glad to see you..!" She said

"I know!" He leaned closer to Nandini who seemed to be lost in him! He moved forward close to her face. Closer and more closer!

"You look pretty." He whispered and took the loose strands of her hair and tucked them gently behind her ear.

He gazed at her while she stared at him, waiting for his next move

The lift door got wide opened, making a sound. They instantly came back to their sense and Manik back off. They were feeling awkward, Ofcourse!

They moved their gaze infront, only to find, Vishni!

Okay..how was it? I tried my best. I'd written this chapter last night, for you Readers!

Okay so.., I'll not delete this story because I don't want my lovely Readers to get upset. I'm continuing this story for now, But if the responses keep on decreasing then I'll have to discontinue it.
