Next morning.
Kashyap Mansion.

Everyone was having their breakfast, Nandini was lost. She was busy writing something on a notepad.

"Manik Malhotra." She mumbled. She was writing his name, which she got to know it at the hospital through a nurse.

"Mr Kashyap, you have a meeting at 10. Right?" Vishni asked as she saw Anirudh completed his breakfast.

"Yeah, you're coming with me?" He asked as he stood up. Vishni nodded as Aryan was at school so she went with him.

"Ma'am you're done?" Neel asked Nandini but she was just looking at the notepad, His name!

"Ma'am?!" Neel asked again as he shook her a little and this time she came back to her sense.

"Hmm?"

"You're done? We have to go to office." He said

"Yeah..let's go." She shook her head and stood up to leave for office. She was thinking about Manik! wasn't she?

"What happen Vishni? Anything bothering you?" Anirudh asked holding her hand as he saw tears in Vishni's eyes. They were on their way to office. Jai was driving.

"Anirudh.., I don't know why everyone treat me like I don't exist. My existance doesn't matter to anyone." Vishni said as she cried, Jai looked at her through the small mirrior. What was Vishni upto now?

"No one is treating me like they should! No one acknowledge me. But it's okay, in my mind, I was always your family and the mother of your child. Even if they treat me like I don't exist." She wiped her tears..real or fake? God knows!

"Jai.., did you also know that? Everybody treats her like she doesn't exist?! and they don't want to acknowledge her?" Anirudh asked sternly. Ofcourse, he cared for Vishni afterall.

"That's not true Sir, no one will dare!" Jai answered but he knew what Vishni meant. He knew Vishni was talking about Nandini! It's Nandini who treat her like that!

"Vishni is my family, she is my wife and the mother of my child. How should I share that with the world??! I think their is only option now." He tighten his grip on Vishni's hand. "Before I die, I wanna marry her." Anirudha blurted while Vishni looked at him with twinkling eyes. She got what she wanted!

Office

"So..they will go ahead and get married?" Nandini asked Neel as he gave her the information. She was talking to him through the phone.

"Yes ma'am..they want to have an official wedding and announce it to the press. I called to ask, how many guest should we invite?" She heard his voice but she was thinking something else!

"Neel, I have some work pending right now, I will call you back."

"Yes Ma'am." Neel said and Nandini cut the call.

"How could they get married? Huh! Ofcourse my dad! That Vishni must have told him something which lead Dad to take this decision." Nandini chuckled. That Vishni was way too smart huh.

She walked to her desk, she saw her doll! The same doll for which Manik risked his life!

She called on her personal secretary, Jiya, whom she'd sent to hospital to give a gift to Manik.

"Yes Ma'am?" She came inside and smiled at Nandini. She was a nice human being.

"How did this reach here?" Nandini asked, still seeing her doll.

"Ma'am, He wanted me to give it to you. It was Manik Malhotra! As you asked me to, I went to the hospital. He asked me to give it to you and he politely refused to take the gift that you sent for him." Manik refused the gift?! But why??! That guy was so difficult. Nandini carried a stern face, she won't give up! He risked his life to bring her doll. She would repay to the debt.., anyhow.

Manik's pov

"Finally.!" I exclaimed. I was getting discharged today. It's been damn 24 hours since I was here, on this hospital bed! I lied to baby bear that I'm at a friend's house. I didn't want her to get worried

"So Mr Manik, you're feeling better now right?" The nurse said as she came in. Hmm she was kind of flirting with me since yesterday night. She was hot, I must say.

"Yeah..I'm fine" I tried to put on my blazer but I couldn't stretch my arms. That was hurting!

"Let me help you" She placed her hand on my shoulder. Hmm.. trying to woo me huh!

She came infront of me, sliding her hands to my neck.

"Umm..blazer is there.." I showed her the blazer but she just looked at me and leaned closer

"What are you upto??" I asked as I gave her a confuse look.

"You know!" She answered as she smirked when I heard a cracking sound! Sounds like a glass had fallen down? We both turned to see., Nandini?
Pov ends.

"How did the glass fall down?" The nurse stepped away from Manik

"I don't know." Nandini said in a stern voice. She looked at Manik with an angry expression. Oh, seems like she had already seen their scene!

"Okay, I'll asked the cleaner to clean it." The nurse went out leaving them alone.

"What was you two doing, that too so close??" She asked Manik.

"Nothing, she was just helping me to put on my blazer." Manik said, trying to put on his blazer

"What was the need to take her help haan?? I was coming na!! I came here for you and you..." She gritted her teeth. Did she care if other girl comes close to Manik?? Was she jealous? But Manik was just a stranger for her right?!

"Oh...thank you so much for coming! I'm so blessed!" He said sarcastically while she looked to the other side. Angry Nandu!

"You need help?" She said glancing at him, he was struggling to wear his blazer

"I don't need your help." He finally succeeded to put it on. At the same time Nandini got a call. She went out to attend it as she wasn't getting network.

Nandini's Pov

"Hmm..okay Neel, I'll call you back." I cut the call and went back to his room but..

"Where the hell has he gone now??" I murmured confusingly as I didn't found him there!

"Listen..could you tell me where is the patient of room no.12 ? I mean..he was here few minutes back but now..?" I asked the receptionist.

"Yes, he had got discharge today. He must had gone home now." What!! Without informing me??!! I mean, I came here to talk but..argrh! Never mind I would reached him! I asked the receptionist his address, she checked in the file and thankfully I got to know it!

Manik just left from the hospital. He knew Nandini must be angry but who cares..

He was driving back home when his phone beeped.

"Msg from baby bear?" He opened it.

"You won't find me at home means that I'm at Aashi's house. You can come to pick me later. Love, Suhasi."

He smiled. Aashi was her best friend, Aashi lives out of Mumbai,. ( Imagine some place far away from Mumbai.)

Manik reached home and found Aditya at the entrance, with a girl!

"Where the hell were you man? I was calling you since last night!" He snapped at Manik, while his girlfriend's gaze was stuck on him. Manik was a greek god afterall 😉

"I was busy.." Manik answered

"With a girl? Right? Why do girls give you so much attention??! What is the thing that just pulls them towards you?"

"Ask your girlfriend first dude." Manik smirked and went inside his house to freshen up.

"Omg! He's so good looking!" His girlfriend exclaimed, looking at Manik's way. She was telling this infront of his boyfriend?! She has guts BTW!

"That's all from plastic surgery Kanika." Plastic surgery?!! Seriously!? Good joke huh Aditya!

"What!! Really? how did he look like before then?" Stupid girl, she actually believed it?!

"Umm.. he was a bit like..this." He placed his both palms on his cheek, showing her the sight.

Funny no?!😂

Soon both left from Manik's house.

After Manik freshen up, he went out on take some fresh air. He stepped out from the house and saw Nandini at the gate, already looking at him.

"Ahh..! So I have found your house right!" She said, panting heavily

"You are here to see me? Again?!" Manik gave her a surprising look.

"God! my feet..! It's hurting.!" She sat o the nearby chair. She took a breath then continued, "You know what, I have walked till here to reach your house."

"Really? You didn't come by the car? So desperate to meet me huh?!" Manik smirked in return he get a deadly glare from Nandini

"That's because my bloody car got damaged on the middle, and Nandini Kashyap don't step on bus or taxi.., so I had to walk till here." She said as she stood up. "And I wasn't being desperate to meet you okay! I just came to tell you that I don't need any of your favours! I hate taking any debts!! I won't go till I don't repay my debts and..."

"Are you interested in me?" Manik cut her in between. He had to, otherwise She would have just kept on talking.

"What? What do you want to say?" She asked sternly

"You're just keeping on talking, you came to hospital, then here, my house. It's clearly showing your interest in me, isn't it?" He chuckled by his own words.

"Excuse me! What.."

"Are you easily impressed huh? Ahh! Now I get it! That glass didn't fall by itself, it was you who threw it, to divert the attention of that nurse no?!" So Nandini threw that glass, didn't she? Manik smirked but Nandini just wanted to punch him right there.

"Excuse me..!! Stop.."

"Good looking guys are your ideal type right?" That was enough, Nandini had to speak now.

"Enough okay! You're going way over your head right now! The reason, I came to see you here is..."

"It was not your fault. I did it all by my own. There is no reason for us to run into each other. I definitely told u that before right!" He said straight my, looking in her eyes.

"That's how you see it Mr Malhotra! but I see it differently! I can never go on without paying my debt!" Nandini yelled, She had to pay her debts.

"Okay then. I will write it off...that debt now." He walked closer to Nandini, reducing the distance.

"Written off!" He whispered yet sternly and changed his way. He had Written off the Debt! He didn't listen to her words! Nandini just shook her head in disbelief.

Manik Sat inside his car when his phone rang. He picked it up as it showed 'Baby Bear.'

"Yeah baby bear."

"Bhaiya.. It's urgent, I need you here." And cut. Manik became worried. He didn't even get to speak! Was his baby bear okay??

He dialled her number again but it was out of reach.

"Damn!!" He banged his fist on the car steering wheel. "I have to reach at Aashi's place, baby bear needs me" Well yes, he knew her address.

He was about to start the engine when Nandini sat inside the car, next to the driver's seat.

"Did your parents teach you that mean behaviour? You didn't even hear me out!!" She said straightly while Manik just wanted to banged his head on some wall

"You just interpret and judge things as you see.."

"Get out now." Manik was controlling his anger. Suhasi was more important.

"I can't get out with that false accusation. I'm not even done talking about." She settled herself properly on the seat, crossing her arms around her chest. So stubborn she was!

"Listen., I'm really in a hurry right now!" He said in a clean voice yet serious.

"Okay..let's go then! If you are in a hurry, we will talk on the way." She put on the seat belt. "You're such an arrogant man!!" She mumbled angrily. Look who was talking.

Manik started the engine and the way to their destination began. That's going to be a Long Drive...! Maybe this time could make them get on some real feelings towards each other.
