Chapter 2!

"NAN.." Manik tried to articulate, he looked at the bracelet a little more closer

"NANDINI..." This name! He heard it somewhere! Yes! But where..?

"Ma'am!!" Two air-hostess came to Nandini, "Oh no. She's not responding! God! What should we do now? We should check yeah. We should check if there is any doctor on the board!" They were worried, horrified! Nandini was the great business man's daughter afterall!

"Wait. I can.." Manik opened his mouth to say something but then shut it up. How can he check her when he wasn't a doctor.

"You can? You're a doctor?" Manik didn't say anything instead he went back to his seat.

"We have an announcement to the passengers..there is an emergency patient on board..If there is a doctor on board please come to the business class.. Thank you"

They were continuously announcing about it..but our dear Manik had his headphones on! He wanted sleep..peace!

Here Vishni was worried for her..yes ofcourse! she was in the flight with her as Mr Kashyap asked her to come with Nandini

"Ma'am, there's no doctor on the board. Oh god Nandini ma'am's breathing and pulse are continously slowing down!" The air-hostess said panickly

"No..no!! Nothing can happen to her!"  Vishni was getting worried. What if something happen to her?

In the other side

"Listen!! Are you dumb or what!!" Aditya take off Manik's headphone

"What the F!!" He cursed as he eyed angrily at Aditya

"Shut up. You're such a jerk huh. They keeps on announcing that someone is seriously ill. They need a doctor! But you - you're here listening to your nonsense songs!!" Aditya snapped at him afterall he was doing wrong no.

"Aren't you a doctor? Go and save her man!!"

"I got kicked out from medical school!! Get that straight in your head dude!" Manik took the headphone from him and again put it on. God!! This guy was being so careless!!

"Manik..listen dude!" He again removed the headphone only to get a deadly glare from Manik!

"What? Why are you looking at me like that? There is no doctor on the board. Why don't you go over there? You could still do a better job even If it's sticking a small band-aid on.." What did he meant by a better job? Oh yeah! Manik was a Player no.

Manik rolled his eyes, once again taking the headphones back from him but before he could put it on, Aditya's words hit him hard

"If baby bear was in the place of the patient, you would let her die?" He said a sensible thing to Manik though.

"Tell me, you.." Manik didn't listen to him but immediately went from there

"I knew it!! I knew It always works when It comes to Baby bear!" Aditya chuckled..he did a right thing by the way!

Manik was there at the business class. He was checking Nandini!

"You're the doctor?" There came the voice from his back. Manik froze at his place! He recognised her voice!

"I am sorry..I had to make an urgent call..please check her..she's.." Well she couldn't complete..she was numb as she came infront..Manik and Vishni were face to face! No reaction?! Both were numb!! They met after 5 years!! So It was obvious to be a little shocked!

"No..I'm not a doctor! I once attended medical school but I dropped out in the middle of semester" Manik said sternly still his eyes glued on Vishni!

"Mumma..mumma!!" Aryan came to her..Manik didn't want to believe she had a son? but he had to!!

"Aryan..baby..go and sit there..Sissy is ill..doctor check karenge then all will be good okay? Go now" She spoke calmly.. Aryan nodded and went

"By the way..how are you related to this patient?" He asked casually as if he knew! Did he actually knew? Maybe yes!

"She's..umm..she's.."

"C'mon..stop stammering! I don't have so much time for this!" Manik again got in to check Nandini

"She's my daughter! I'm not her biological mother though she is from my husband's previous marriage.."

Manik was stunned..he had heard rumors! He knew it! Yes! But he was now thinking how could Vishni marry an old person? Why!? He took the blame for her! He suffered! Alot! Just because of her!! He thought she would wait for him!! But..

"Her blood pressure keeps on dropping doctor!" One of the air hostess said

Manik quickly start resuming his checking

"How long will it be landing..?"

"In 30 minutes..!" She added

"Sh!t We don't have time!! But we can do one thing..we can buy time by pulling the air out of her lung with this syringe" He took out all the syringe from the box

"That's all we can do now..nothing else.." He injected right there at her chest

"Stop!! If something happens to Nandini..if she dies?" Vishni asked but Manik wasn't paying any attention to her words..right now he somehow wanted to save Nandini! He kept on injecting her

"Stop doing that..you are not a freaking doctor!! Stop it!!" Manik was a little shocked to here this from his childhood friend! Ahh..Things change! People change! Feelings change!

"Her blood pressure and pulse is becoming stabilized now..but once we land..just make sure to take her hospital okay!" He looked at Nandini..yes! He Rescued Her! His eyes carried concern for her! Why? Ahh chuck it..every doctors are concern about their patient right? But was she just a patient for him now? Only he knew!

"Okay..I think my work is done here..so" Manik stood and went back to his seat

Vishni's pov

God!! Why Manik?? Why him!!? Sh!t I thought I will never meet him again!! What if he..no! He won't do that! He turned himself in..yes! I will not think about him now..

"So.." Aditya show his teeth to Manik

"So..??" Manik asked like if he didn't knew what he is talking about

"That patient was a girl right? How was she? I mean..your type?"

"Ahh..that girl...." All of a sudden that moment flashed infront of him! The way she landed on his back.., how he held her close.., how her face looked so pretty! But wait! He's thinking about Nandini??!!

"Ahemm! Where are you lost dude? you're interested in that girl..don't you? Okay..let me guess..have you fallen for her already?"

"Umm..actually..." Oh..was it love at first sight..?

"No...!"
