MaNan were having their time on the nearby cafeteria

"Manik, now tell me. How did you get here?" It was the ninth time Nandini asked.

"By car, obviously." He replied almost instantly. Nandini raised her eyebrows at him, gesturing him to give a proper answer

"I came because I missed you, Nandini" His reply made her cheek red. He came because he missed her and She felt butterflies on her stomach.

But was it still a honest answer?

Did he really come because he missed her?

"Stop staring at me like that Nandini, else you'll fall for me" He winked at her and that made her comeback to reality.

"You'll fall so hard that even if you would try to get me out of your mind, I'll still be in your heart!" He sounded dangerous like he was warning her rather than speaking

"Don't keep your hopes high, Mr Malhotra. I know nothing like that will happen." She shrugged and took a sip of her coffee

"Well..that only time will tell..." He sighed and added "I know it's not the time to speak about these things. We have to talk about the resort!"

Nandini's attention was full on Manik as he started "First of all, Kashyap company has already invested money in 'Glow company'. You know what, 'Glow company' is a company that stopped 2 years ago and is close to being bankrupt now!" This made Nandini hell stunned though, she never knew about this.

"It hasn't been public yet but it was bought by another company six months back! As now, they are reported to hold gold & copper worth 3 billion! I've calculated and according to my findings, it will be a big, big loss for Kashyap Company and you have to stop this deal!" He said while Nandini was still in state of shock.

"Are you paying attention?" He clicked his fingers infront of her and she blinked her eyes

"But Manik, when did you find all this out?" Nandini asked

"Ah..my network is well connected, Ms Kashyap. Most of all, I'm unbelievably smart, you know. If I would start talking about myself, It may take the entire day so we'll skip this." Nandini rolled her eyes at him. Manik never leaves a chance to praise himself

"C'mon Nandini, you don't have much time" He said

"Yeah." She stood up from her chair and called Jai

She ordered him to inform Vishni that she was coming & to stop the meeting till she reach there.

She gave a glance at Manik, who was already staring at her.

"Thank you Manik" She said smilingly and turned to leave but his voice stopped her

"Wait" He said and marched forward.

He cupped her face as he leaned closer and she closed her eyes. He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and her eyes got wide open. That was unexpected!

That one kiss on her forehead showed, how much respect Manik had for Nandini.

She felt good with when his lips touch her forehead. It was indeed the sweetest thing happened to her till now.

He back off "Make sure you come back victorious. Don't even think about comeback if you lose, okay!" He spoke while Nandini nodded. Her cheeks were already heaten up due to shyness! She was feeling so good!

"I asked you to wait for me dammit!!" Nandini yelled infront of the employees. Well Nandini was at the conference room but she was late as Vishni had already made Mr Richard signed the contract.

Nandini couldn't handle the fact that now, her resort was not hers!

She got weak! But then Manik's word echoed in her ears

She can't give up! No!.

"Nandini, now it's already done! See the contract is right here" She showed her the contract papers. "And I didn't get any message! I thought you won't come" She said and turned to the business partner "Well Mr Richard, the resort is all yours!" She gave him a smile

"Shut up, you.." Nandini showed her a finger. She so wanted to slap her but she couldn't!

She was her so-called mother afterall.

She wanted to speak to her dad but then, he was out to another country to handle the other work

"What did you say? You didn't get the message? Mr Jai, didn't you give her the message?" She asked sternly, glaring at Jai but he kept mum. He'd given the message to Vishni but she ignored as she didn't want to wait for Nandini

"Nandu, it's fine girl. I know you're very much attached to this resort. But baby, selling this resort was much important!" Vishni said in a sugary tone

"Oh just, stop this bullshit okay! I'm not selling this resort!!" Nandini snatched the paper from Vishni's hand and tore them into pieces!

Everyone was stunned with her act as that was the original papers!

There was no contract now!

"I will not sell it, never!" She yelled out.

"Shut up Nandini!! Are you out of your mind? How can you rip the contract? Is a contract child's play to you? You will be reprimanded at the company if your immature and preposterous behaviour doesn't stop!"

"This contract is invalid Ms Vishni. And you Mr Richard, we will not sell this resort as long as I'm around here! We won't sell this resort so don't you even dream about it!" Nandini said, glaring at him

"Somebody take this girl out from the room. Mr Richard, don't worry. We'll make another contract" Vishni said in a polite tone.

Nandini shook her head in disbelief. What should she do to stop this?

Vishni was such an evil!

Her phone rang and it displayed 'Manik's number' !

"How did it go?" She heard his voice as she picked it up

"You lost, didn't you?" How could Manik get to know that???

"You couldn't even try, could you?"

"Manik, I--"

"Are they all, right there?" He asked

"Yes, they are."

"Good. Then hand the phone to Mr Richard"

"Why him?"

"I've something to tell him so pass the phone to him. Do press the speaker button"

"Okay, hold on." She did as he said. She put it on speaker so now, everyone was listening. She gave the phone to Mr Richard.

"Hello, Mr Richard." Manik's voice echoed in the room. Vishni's eyes were snap opened

And now, it was Manik, who would make everything 'right'!

He was determined to make Nandini win!
