Manik's Pov

"There's a place I want to get to, I'll get there at all costs! I won't forgive whoever tries to stop me! I don't care who it is." Vishni's words was not leaving my mind!

I was right here, infront of the Kashyap resort! Yes, I just came for her! Nandini! I won't let Vishni win at any cost. She has a lot to see in her life yet! And I won't lose any chance to bring her down!

I marched inside. I must say, the resort was quite wonderful though!

"Excuse me" I said the receptionist as I stopped right there

"Yes..how can I help you?" She said in a sugary tone.

"I'm looking for Nandini Kashyap. Can you tell me where is she, this time?" I asked but she kept gawking at me

Why are you so hot Manik Malhotra?!

Btw she was hot, sexy! I must say.

"Hello!" I clicked my fingers infront of her eyes. Thankfully, she came back from her dreamy land

"Umm..yes? You want to meet whom?" God! She was seriously lost in me!

"Nandini Kashyap" I replied, grinning at her instantly

"Oh, you're looking for Nandini ma'am! She's in the next house! You can meet her there" She showed me the way and I nodded

"Thank you" She gave me a smile in return. I knew she wanted to converse with me more and I wouldn't mind either but I needed to meet Nandini! I left that place as quick as possible.

Why was Nandini living in different place? This resort is hers only right, so..? I should meet her asap!

It was evening already and the lights of the house in which Nandini was staying, was on. I was about to knock at the door when I noticed a large paper, glued on the door

"Do Not Disturb" What the! So, Ms Kashyap doing something important, I guess.

I sat on a corner, waiting for her to come out. I didn't want to disturb her though. I felt myself drifting into sleep and my eyes got shut

A loud sound disturbed my so-called sleep. I looked at the door, there was Nandini! She looked tired! I looked at my watch

4 am already?! Damn! Don't tell me she was awake the whole night?!!

I stared at her moved, she laid down on the gazon. I walked further and could hear her mumbling "I won't give up!" Her eyes were slightly closing, she was falling asleep and sooner, she went into a deep slumber

I stared at her face for a while.

Cute!

I shook my head,and entered inside the house.

There was so many papers on the table! She had worked a lot! But I guess, she didn't find the solution!

I sat down on the chair and checked the papers.

Accounting! Business!

I knew a little bit of these subjects cause when I was in my college days, I hadn't my class. I'd twice joined with Aditya, in his class. I couldn't believe I did that! I'd actually followed the whole class without letting the teacher know! And so on, I got to know a little bit about accounting & business!

But still, I was a Science student though, how would I solve this?

Think Manik...

"Aditya!!" My mind screamed. Only he could help me.

I called him.., and thankfully, he picked it up

"Hello?" His voice sounded sleepy

"Yeah Aditya, it's me. Manik. Baby bear is fine?" I asked as I knew he must have checked on her. He did cared for her

"Yeah, she's fine. Now let me sleep."

"No, listen. Weren't you a business management major? Explain to me how to read financial statements? What is it?" I asked, checking the papers.

"Dude! You disturbed my sleep just to ask this at this time?" He asked

"Listen, Aditya. You have friends working in 'Kashyap company' right? Do ask them about the company and start gathering the information you get."

"Do you know what time is it right? Are you dreaming or what? Stop this nonsense and go back to sleep." I could hear his chuckle but I won't let him sleep till he wouldn't explain me.

"Don't you dare hang up the phone!" I heard his groan. He was annoyed, for sure!

But all I was thinking now was, Nandini & to bring that Vishni down!

"What man, you just woke me up in the middle of the night! Do you know how sleepy I am right now?" He said as I was actually disturbing him this time.

"I'll introduce you to new girls" I said, hoping that he would agree

"What new girls? I've already one!" He replied in a hell irritate tone

"She's more pretty! Have such good figure. You'll be hypnotized by her beauty" Well, I was just kidding but I guess, he took it seriously

"Umm...okay. I'll explain it to you." Yes! He agreed! Finally!

"It's been so long since I graduated from school but I do remember them. Business is easier than Account though, you may take time to understand it properly. Well 'Financial statement' is..." He started with his explanation while I got through the papers, listening to him very carefully.

Time passed and..wow! I did! I couldn't say I was perfect but the information which I knew and Aditya gave me & explained to me, made me find a solution! I just hope it would work!!

Well, Manik Malhotra was born quite intelligent ;)

The resort was being sold to 'Glow' company! I still remember my ex-girlfriend, who told me about 'Glow' company. She said, the information hasn't made to public yet. It went bankrupt two years ago & six months ago, the company was bought by another company.

Interesting! This was accurate information though!

I thanked Aditya afterall he helped me alot! I was feeling tired too but then, this work was more urgent!

It was 8.30 in morning. Time to wake her up! I moved out & saw her still sleeping on the green gazon.

Sleeping beauty..

Sleepy head, Ms Kashyap

I looked at the swimming pool which was just near and an evil idea popped in my mind. Within seconds, I scooped her in my arms and threw her in the swimming pool

She was baffled to see me here while I smirked fully.

Pov ends.

"Hi, you sleepy head! I guess, you've had enough sleep. It's time to get up" He spoke as he shrugged his broad shoulders and dropped his hands into the pockets of his jeans

"C'mon, wake up. Let's pull it together, it's time to kick some ass!" He winked at her, not to forget with his famous smirk! While she was still in state of shock!

"Manik!! Why are you here? I mean..! How dare you throw in the swimming pool huh?" She yelped more rather than speaking. Who would throw someone in the pool like Manik did? These kinda ideas only Manik Malhotra could have.

"First decide which one you want me to answer? And now get out. We have loads to do!" He gave her his hand, gesturing her to hold it so as he could pull her up.

She grabbed his hand and pulled him in the water instantly. If He had an evil mind so even She was evil enough too! She can't let anyone go in so easily!

Manik panicked at first. Ofcourse, he would be afterall he wasn't expecting such sudden pull.

"Aww!! Manik Malhotra. I'm smarter than you! I'm Nandini Kashyap, so beware okay!! Btw, you look like 'cute pokemon' right now" She laughed, Manik was drenched, his hair all in a messy way. He looked equally annoyed now.

"Ha.ha.ha, very funny" He said in a sarcastic tone, making her laughter on halt.

"You shouldn't have done that! Why did you throw me in? What if the water was deep? I would have drowned and.." She stopped abruptly, realising what she'd blurted out. An evil smirk curved on Manik's lips

"Ooo...so Ms 'Nandini Kashyap' don't know swimming" He smirked and moved closer to her "Nice..!" As he marched one step forward, Nandini took double step backwards

"Manik, step away okay! I know swim--swimming" She stammered.

"You know swimming, then why is the need to fear baby?" Manik said. She gulped as Manik was coming more closer.

"Stop" She said almost immediately but he just had a plastered sly smile on his face and was marching more and more ahead to her. She so wished to wipe that smirk off his face

"Manik what is wrong with you? I said stop right--" One more step and...

She couldn't complete as her feet gave in. She found herself inside the water; waving her hands up. The water was too deep and she didn't have much height to even stand on

"Mani--Man--" She found herself unable to breathe. But how could the hero just stand & watch? He grabbed her wrist instantly and pulled her close to himself. He held her by waist, bringing her more closer.

Nandini hugged him as tight as she could. Her eyes closed, she was shivering, scared! What if she would have drowned?

She opened her eyes as she pulled apart, and faced him. He was holding still holding her "How could you? What if I would have drowned? Mind you Mr Malhotra, don't you dare pull such stunt to me again!!" She gave him a deadly glare.

"Nandini, don't you think you're speaking more than your height? I mean,.. if you want to spoil my mood then I don't mind leaving you right here" He said straightly, maintaining the seriousness of his tone

"No!" She yelled as she clung to his arm.

"Don't lea-ve me" She quivered, her wet dress was literally making her body freeze

"Nandini, relax! I'm here" He said, tightening the hold around her waist just to assure her that she was 'okay'.

"Shh!! I'm here!" He whispered in her ears, she smiled instantly

He was her saviour! So it was obvious for him, to save her this time too. He was there with her but would he be there for her till his entire life? Was it a 'Forever'..?!
