Avoid mistakes

Nandini was numb to react. Soon the whole hall got silent n now they all could hear the sound of machine that was working in manik's shoulder. Nandini realised wat is happening and rushed towards Manik bt couldn't come close to him as she saw manik smiling in that machine pain. More tears made it's way from her eyes and both were looking at each other. One in tears n one smiling in the pain for her.

Soon it was done and the whole projector screen there zoomed the tattoo on manik's hand and all started clapping for them.

The sound of clapping made Nandini come back to reality and she realised one thing that she dint wanted to hear. Manik wore his shirt and came to Nandini while Nandini walked out of the hall before he could reach her.

Manik rushed out behind Nandini to talk to her while Nandini was running away from him. Manik saw her at a far and started shouting her name and saying to stop bt wen Nandini heard him she increased her speed .

Manik ran more fastly n caught her wrist n turn her around n said

Ma-Nandini baat toh suno

Nandini jerked her hand and said

Nan-nhi sunna hai

And again tried to walk away bt Manik held her n pinned her to a car near them and said

Ma-ek baar sun toh lo

Nandini dint say anything bt she dint even look at him while Manik said

Ma-Nandini

Nan-ander woh Sab kya tha

Came out her question as he was abt to talk. Manik smiled remembering wat he did inside making Nandini confirm her doubts while Manik opened his mouth to speak bt Nandini palmed his lips and said

Nan-kuch bhi mat bolo Manik.....kyu ki Mei tumhe kuch bhi nhi de paogi

Saying this she freed herself from his hold and took 2 steps wen she heard Manik shouting

Ma-I love you Nandini

Nandini stopped at her place and doubted that he said it bt she again heard his husky voice which was ryt beside her ear

Ma-I love you... I love you very very much

Nandini looked at him from the corner of her eyes and than moved away from their closeness while Manik in next second pinned her gently with a car and said

Ma-now listen to me okay

His voice was soft yet authoritive that made Nandini to stand still and listen to him

As he said that Nandini jerked him away and was abt to move bt Manik again held her wrist and said

Ma-lekin Mei apna pyaar tum pe thop na nhi chahta......isliye Mei tumhe force bhi nhi kr rha to reciprocate my feelings or fall for me......bt I want you to be my friend for forever.....aur Mei hamesha tumhara wait krunga even if it takes years and years .

Nandini looked at him with blank eyes while Manik said

Ma-raat bahut hogai hai chalo tumhe ghar drop kr deta ho

This time Nandini dint bug to go away and simply walked with him . Manik opened the door for her and Nandini quietly sat in n than Manik sat n drove off .

He reached her home and Nandini was abt to get down wen Manik called her

Nandini quietly looked at him while Manik said

Ma-plz apne aap ko kuch mat krna for my confession tum mere kite meri jaan she zayda kimti ho n I don't want to lose you.....aur rahi baat iski (patting at his left shoulder over the fabric whr he have freshly made a tattoo of her name) toh ispe sirf mera haq hai.....even if you accept my love or not......

Without saying anything she was abt to get down bt again stopped wen she heard Manik saying

Ma-aur ek aur baat......Meine tumse pyaar kiya hai aur hamesha tumse hi karunga aaj k baad mere zindagi Mei koi aur ladki ki jagha nhi.....ya toh an Mei tumhare sath rahunga ya fir kisi aur k sath nhi

Nandini left from there and left inside her house while Manik waited to look at the light of room. As soon as he saw the room light on he left from there .

Manik's trances was broken by a knock on his bathroom door which was been knocked from a long time by he was lost. Finally he was out of his thoughts and heard a worried mukti

Mu-bhai......bhai r u okay

Ma-haan Mei thik ho

Mu-kabse bola rhi ho dinner pe Sab wait kr rhe hai

Ma-aa rha ho

Mukti left n Manik off his shower wiped himself and came out in towel. He quickly chngd in his night wear and came down for dinner.

Cmg down he noticed nyonika who was not looking at him so talking was a far away thing. Being hurt he quietly sat on his chair and they started eating their food.

Post dinner Manik quietly went to his room and quietly laid down to sleep bt sleep was far away from him.

Next one week passed like that bt there was no improvement in nyonika n manik's relationship while Manik was getting more workaholic and depressed  with each passing day.

Dhruv n aaliya's relationship was growing while mukbhi were at peace bt the relationship btwn abhi n Manik had turned out to be cold very very cold. Here Nandini came back to Sydney n joined back the same hospital and was working bt not a single night was not that she haven't slept after getting tired of crying. And her morning started with manik's memories.

Next month passed away and now It was February. Nandini was gng back home wen she noticed a banner of Valentine's Day Cmg soon. She came back home and started eating her snacks.

While eating she remembered the way he proposed her and started remembering the days after that

Nandini's POV (flashback)

After that night Nandini started maintaining distance with Manik so that she can finish this feelings soon. But the more she was running away from him and this feelings the more she wanted to run n crash herself in his arms. She knew this feelings bt couldn't give a name to that feelings. While in these days Manik never hugged Nandini bt he dint even leave her completely. He just use to msg her good morning n Nights and requesting to have her food and to not break the friendship btwn them bt Nandini never replied back bt wenever he msgd her there was a big smile on her face which she was unaware of it and she always waited for his msgs wenever she dint receive it.

Finally after 2 weeks Nandini couldn't stay away from him and finally dcd to at least talk to him so taking a half day leave Nandini came to Manik's office.

Wen she reached there Manik was busy in a meeting so the receptionist asked her to wait and Nandini sat in the lobby.

Manik came out after more than an hour talking with his client unaware of Nandini's presence. He came to lobby still talking with the client while Nandini stood up from her place and waited for him to get free.

After another 5 mins Manik bade bye to the clients and turn to leave still not noticing Nandini and was walking back in his cabin wen he heard Nandini's voice

Nan-Manik

Manik heard her n stopped at his place thinking that he is hallucinating bt to confirm he turn around and noticed Nandini there and a big smile appeared on his lips.

With 3-4 long steps Manik reached Nandini and raised his hand to hug her seeing her after almost 15 days. Bt stopped mid way as Nandini might not like it.

He moved back n stood in front of her and asked happily yet softly

Ma-hey wat a pleasant surprise. Tum yahan kaise.......kaisi ho

Nandini felt bad to hurt his feelings n happy to see him after a long time bt she dint realise the feelings or rather say dint wanted to face the reality.

Nandini replied politely

Manik was very happy as she was for the first time asking him out so he said getting excited

Ma-yeah sure

Hearing his reply Nandini gave him a small smile and they were walking out of office wen Manik realised something n stopped mid way and called Nandini

Ma-Nandini

Nandini turn around and looked at him with questioning eyes while Manik said

Ma-actually muje dad ko ek bahut imp mail bhej na hai it will take 15 mins can we wait till then plz

Nandini without any hesitation agreed to him and was sitting in the lobby bt Manik stopped her n made her sit in his cabin.

Manik asked Nandini to order for coffee or something bt Nandini denied saying that she will have it with him in the cafe. Agreeing to her Manik quickly sat on his chair n started his work while Nandini sat on the couch in his cabin n started checking out on him.

She herself dint knew wat she is doing bt she was liking it. She was falling for Manik deeply. She noticed his focus and his working attitude his dressing sense and everything while Manik was completely lost in his work to complete or quickly so that he can go out with Nandini soon and spend maximum time with her.

Here Nandini was just gng flat on his personality and blushing thinking wat of they will be together how will he treat her and how will she treat him. And all sort of negative and positive things that happen in a relationship btwn a guy and a girl.

She dint realise that every negative thought that came in her mind her heart gave a positive and strong reply for that.

Here after 1/2 hr Manik completed his work so gathering his thing n placing it properly he came to Nandini who was busy in adoring him.

He noticed her lost in something and he called her few times bt no reply so finally he patted her shoulder blade lightly. Feeling his tap Nandini came out from her adoring session and looked at Manik.

She felt scared that wat if Manik saw her checking out on him and wat he must be thinking about her so she immediately moved her gaze down avoiding him while Manik got confused with her behaviour bt not to let go such an important chance to be with her he chucked everything and asked her softly

Ma-chale

Hearing him Nandini looked at him and immediately moved her eyes away from him coz whenever she looked in his eyes her heart started beating like it is running a marathon. And replied

Nan-hhhmm

She stood up took her bag and waited for Manik to move. Manik came near the door and opened it for her and said

Ma-after you madam

Nandini walked out quietly while Manik followed her. Even in lift he made her enter first and then he entered. He opened his car door for her n Nandini quietly sat inside. Manik sat on his seat and drove to the cafe whr they go regularly. They ride was silent yet there was some sort of unwanted awkwardness btwn them.
