Lots of hustle n bustle was gng on in malhotra mansion. The whole mansion was being decorated as today there was engagement ceremony of dhruv.

Being tired of convincing Manik for marriage nyonika finally gave up n dcd to marry dhruv with a suitable girl

Cmg back dhruv was getting ready all nervous. While cabir was helping him. Downstairs nyonika was getting hyper as the ceremony will start soon n guest will start arriving

Mukti n navya were claiming nyonika n helping the workers to complete the work on time

After half n hr the whole mansion was decorated exactly they way nyonika wanted. Now all the ladies dcd to get ready quickly so they rushed in their rooms n started getting ready

At 12 all the guest started arriving n raj n nyonika were welcoming everyone. The murthy's too arrived n were greeted royally by the malhotra's.

Dhruv was brought down soon. Panditji had also arrived on tym n they wanted to start the ceremony bt nyonika was dialing manik's numbers continuously

They kept delaying the ceremony bt there was no news of Manik. Getting tired raj suggested to start the ceremony bt before they can move ahead. Manik came looking handsome in his black suit. Looking at him nyonika reliefed a breathe n than showed him her hand gesturing that if he would have been late she would have slapped him n Manik immediately held his ears asking for apology

Nyonika smiled n hugged him n than they all dcd to start the ceremony. Manik mukti n elder malhotra's climbed the stage n announced that they are starting the ceremony

While she was announcing all this manik's eyes roamed in the hall n caught a beautiful face n a smile crept on his lips

Soon nyonika said

Nyo-aao beta hum sagai ki rasam shuru krte hai. Dhruv Nandini aajoa beta

Hearing Nandini Manik's brain had stopped working. While Nandini climbed the stage as her mother dragged her

Cmg to stage malhotra's moved behind dhruv while avantika made Nandini stand infront of dhruv

Inspite of being in front of dhruv Nandini couldn't move her gaze from manik's eyes. Whose all the senses had stopped working

Soon the priest started chanting the holy verses n than asked their parents to give rings so that they can exchange the rings

Dhruv took the ring n was abt to make her wear that bt Nandini haven't moved her eyes from Manik. She is still numb to know wat is happening in her surroundings

Waiting for few mins wen Nandini dint give her hand avantika took her hand n placed it on dhruv's hand n dhruv immediately made her wear the ring

While making her wear the ring Nandini got hurt n due to pain got distracted. Wen she got distracted she realized that dhruv have already made her wear the ring n it was too late to pull her hand back

Now it was Nandini's turn to slid the ring in dhruv's finger bt she dint do anything so Avantika gave her the ring n constantly said her to make him wear the ring

Forcefully Nandini made him wear the ring n a lone tear escaped from her eyes which was not noticed by anyone other than Manik

As she did that the whole mansion echoed with claps. N nyonika came n hugged dhruv n Nandini bt Nandini's eyes still couldn't move from Manik who was badly hurt

Not able to take the whole thing Manik got down from stage n hide himself in the guest while Nandini wanted to talk to him

Before she could say or react all the guest started Cmg on stage n were congratulating dhruv n Nandini n taking pics

Down away from stage murthy's n malhotra's were being greeted. Manik was trying to hide from everyone as much as he can bt someone or the other came to him n congratulated him from dhruv's engagement. N every congratulations was like a blunt knife stabbed in his heart n he can't even cry

Nandini was finding Manik n controlling her tears as much as she can. After 2 hrs all the ppl were done with photo session n were gng to have food. Slowly slowly the mansion was getting empty. Elder malhotra's n murthy's came out to take care of food n the guest

Inside wen all the guest had left only the friends were left they started having photo session. Everyone was present except Manik n nobody could notice his hurted eyes.

They were clicking pictures wen Manik was abt to go out without anyone's notice bt cabir caught his sight n called for him

C-Manik idhar aana.......yaar photo toh nikal tere hi bhai ki sagai hovi hai.... aaja

He had to climb the stage n they all started clicking pictures. Manik was staying a lil far from the group. Finally they dcd to have couple shoots so one by one everyone was getting out of stage. Lastly mukti Manik n dhruv with Nandini were standing to give a malhotra's younger clan tag to the pic. Than mukti got down n the photographer suggested Manik Nandini n dhruv to have a pic

Manik denied bt dhruv insisted so he stood there bt was standing beside dhruv so the photographer suggested Manik to come beside Nandini

With a heavy heart he came beside her bt was far away from her. Again the photographer instructed Manik to come close to Nandini

Hesitatingly he came close to Nandini very close as per the instruction. The photographer was abt to click the picture bt dhruv wrapped his hand around Nandini's shoulder pulling her close to him

Manik dint like that n Nandini was uncomfortable with the touch. Clicking a photo they were abt to click more wen raj came n told the whole gang to come n have food

Dhruv held Nandini's hand to take her bt Nandini dint move from her place n hidingly holded manik's hand. Dhruv turn back to her bt before he could say anything Nandini said freeing her hand from his hold

Nan-aap jaiye Mei aati ho

D-kuch problem hai

Nan-nhi washroom Jana hai toh

Gvg her the privacy dhruv left but before leaving he told Manik to come. Gvg an excuse Manik too waited back n dhruv left from there

Once the whole hall was empty Nandini turn to Manik n jerkingly held his shoulder n shouted whispered

Nan-yeh sab Kya ho rha hai Manik......meri sagai toh tumse honewali thi na toh dhruv bich Mei se kaha aagaya.........don't you love me anymore haan.......ya fir tumne sab juth bola........bolo Manik

Saying all this she cried while Manik was already shedding silent tears bt he controlled himself and said holding Nandini in his gently grip

Ma-plz don't say like that I love you Nandini aur yeh sab Kya hova muje khud ko bhi nhi pata hai all this kaise hova I don't know bt there is something wrong

Nandini looked at him and saw honesty so she said gulping down her tears back

Nan-chalo abhi sab ko bata dete hai that we love each other n engagement with dhruv can't happen chalo

She was abt to walk bt Manik stopped her and said

Ma-abhi nhi Nandini sab bhar hai khama kha tamasha hojayega....... n I don't want that for you

Nan-toh hum Kya krenge Manik

Ma-abhi jaisa chal rha hai chalne do.....raat ko Mei mom dad se baat krta ho n I will sort this out....... just trust me

Saying this he joined his forehead with her n both sniffed. Nandini softly mumbled closing her eyes

Nan-I love you Manik

Ma-I love you too

Nandini moved away from him n looked in his eyes n said softly

Nan-tum plz isse jldi sort kr do warns Mei apne aap ko kuch kar lungi

Manik palmed her lips n nodded in no n than immediately hugged her. Breaking the hug he said to her

Ma-ab bhar chalte hai warna koi aajayega (wiping her tears) aur plz Rona band kar plz

Nandini wiped his tears too n than gave him a smile. They both got down with their hand in hand n moved towards food section as they came near to everyone Manik left Nandini's hand n maintained distance

Seeing Nandini dhruv came to her n held her hand bt Nandini removed his hand from hers as she was not comfortable. Dhruv not paying attention to it freed her hand n said walking with her

He made her sit n sat beside her n than served her food n was cracking jokes to make her laugh bt Nandini was not interested

Here Manik was getting jealous n also trying to think how did this happen n now how he will tell this to his parents n dhruv will he let Nandini go

All the malhotra murthy's n friends were having a gala time among themselves except from manan. Completing the lunch. Murthy's dcd to leave. So bidding bye to each other murthy's were leaving bt before gng Nandini looked at Manik n he blinked his eyes assuring her abt it

Nandini gave him a small smile n than sat in the car n they drove off

Cmg back in mansion Manik dcd to talk now only bt malhotra's were tired n left in their rooms n Manik had to wait

Cmg back to his room Manik was all drained out coz he was in Delhi for work from past 4 days n completed 6 days work in 4 days n came back to attend dhruv's engagement bt wen he came here he was shocked n all. Manik chngd himself in comfortable clothes n laid down on his bed

He took his phone n started seeing Nandini's pics that were in his phone n was smiling. He promised her photo that by night he will sort out everything

On he other hand Nandini was too tired n was praying to god to just sort out the mess that is been created

She chngd her dress n laid down on her bed looking at hers n manik's pics in her phone n was trying to join the dots that how come this confusion took place bt couldn't. Unknowingly she dozed off

It was evening wen both the fmlys woke up for evening tea and were having that peacefully

Sitting in the hall all were having a gala time. Later mukti dcd to go out with abhimanyu n nyonika raj went in their room to rest

Dhruv came to Manik so Manik asked

Ma-dhruv yeh sagai Nandini se

Before he could complete dhruv spoke

D-cute hai na Nandini........ muje toh woh bahut pasand hai.......I think I m falling for her.........usse dekh k kaun ladka mana karega.......she is beautiful just like an angle........pata hai jab woh shadi kr k aayegi na mere sath toh Mei

N he started saying Manik all his plans after wedding n with every words manik's heart was breaking in tiny pcs.

Dhruv completed saying and looked at lost Manik so he called him out. Manik excused himself coz he knew waiting back will make him weak n all will be a mess

He came in his room and all that dhruv said started echoing around him n Nandini's crying face was flashing in front of him

He wanted to solve the mess bt dhruv was happy n how can he do that bt he can't think of leaving Nandini or seeing someone else with her

Manik went in his bathroom n stood under cold water shower crying hard not knowing wat to do
