*Hmmm... this is a problem now...*

I thought as I looked at the girl in her mid 20's standing in front of me.

*She is a very dedicated employee. And I don't want to lose her but... this is the result she gave me.*

I looked at the sheet of paper in my hand again.

I crumbled the piece of paper and threw it away. I then took my phone and called the PR department.

Phone conversation

"Hello, mam." A brooding voice sounded from the phone.

"What in the world is the PR department doing? Do I give you guys salaries just to sit and eat?" I know my voice sounded cold as ice but I had no intention to change my tone.

"Ma-mam... ac-actually..." He started stammering. I hate it when someone stammers, I hate it when someone speaks gibberish. It just makes me angrier that I don't get a relevant answer.

"I don't want to listen to your shit anymore. Get down to work right now or your assistants would see a new head of the department tomorrow."

"Yes, ma-"

toot toot toot. Call end.

I cut the call before he could say anything else.

I am seriously pissed right now. I glanced at the shivering girl in front of me which actually doubled my anger.

"Don't you have anything to explain?" I asked in a cold manner while she clenched her dress tightly.

"Mam. Actually I didn't know about this... Lara said she was going to meet the directors. that's all." Sana said still shivering as sweat rolled down her forehead in an air-conditioned room. I scoffed at her exaggerated fear.

"Do you actually have no brain or did you keep it at home before you came? I cannot understand if you are innocent or just downright dumb. This is the last and final warning to both you and Lara. If you do this again I swear I will be the one to destroy you guys first."

*I know it was harsh. But this is the third time something like this happened.

I never had any problems with any other actors. But these girls love to create troubles.

If this continues then I won't be able to protect them anymore.*

I thought as I puffed my cheeks in anger.

"Now go back to her. As her assistant make sure nothing stupid like this happens again."

As soon as these words left my mouth the Sana ran away with the speed of light. I couldn't control the bewildered expression on my face.

*Am I that scary?*

I thought tilting my head a little. ( nandu's attire...)

My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call. It was my PA cum bestfriend Ishika.

Phone conversation.

"Mam the PR department took care of the news. Now you just need to attend a conference with the shareholders... And don't forget to pick my cuddle bunny from the school." She spoke adding more emphasis to the last sentence.

"Ishika first of all... I said not to call me mam and those old geezers don't have anything else to do other than eating my brain... argh!" I spoke as I frustratedly ran my fingers through my hair.

"Fine nandu... happy now." She spoke in a sarcastic tone. While I laughed a little before replying with a-

"Yup very much."

We continued the conversation for one more minute before bidding bye to each other.

I stood up and walked towards the window. The world looked so small from here.

*The very same small world which belittled me then.*

I thought sadly as I put my hand on the glass.

*Cold... I hope it doesn't rain...*

I thought as I walked away from it towards my next destination. The conference room.

After 2 hours.

(Nandu came outside mumbling some curses on the way.)

*Damn those old geezers still had soo much to argue at a small issue.

This meeting was initially an hour-long... but they managed to talk more than two hours...

now I am late for my jaan's school... I just hope he is not puffing his cheeks in anger.*

I went towards my car and took the keys from the driver saying I will drive today.

I hopped into the car and drove towards my destination. Berkley high school...

Berkley high school. Top most prestigious school in the world.

*I actually crashed my own record of speeding... Just great!*

I thought in a sarcastic tone. Well, I kinda drove at 180 km per hour when I usually drive at 140 km per hour when needed.

I started searching for my little sweetheart who was by the way sitting below the tree puffing his cheeks in anger. Just like I thought.

*Aweee, no matter what, I can never get used to him. my baby cheeks.*

I thought fangirling a little. I went near him and sat beside him. I slowly and carefully poked his cheek not wanting to hurt him in any way and quickly took back my hand. I continued to do the same thing as I could see a small smile on my jaan's face.

"Mumma! No touching. I am angry." He said puffing his cheeks even more that nandu just wanted to pinch his cheeks then and there. But she knew if she pinched them they will be red and it will pain him. ( He is just a four-year-old kid guys.)

"Ayuuu... why is my baby angry with his Mumma?" She asked while he just pouted and folded his hands near his chest.

"Ayuuu, Mumma is sorry that she came late. I promise that I won't come late again ok baby." She said gently ruffling his hair and kissed his head. But Ayaan pouted again. He did not like people touching his hair but since it's his Mumma he made an exception.

He turned towards her and extended his small hand.

"Nandini promise." He said while Nandini smiled at this.

"Nandini promise. Ok but because I am sorry I will fulfill one of your wishes. So what does my Jaan want?" She asked while she took him into her lap.

"Hmmm..." He said putting his index finger on his chin as if thinking deeply while Nandini kissed his head at his cuteness.

"Then... Mumma will take Ayuuu to her workplace." He said turning his head to face her as his eyes twinkled. Nandini giggled a little before nodding.

"As my Jaan says," She said and stood up with Ayaan in her arms. And they went towards the car.

Nandini first safely put Ayaan in the backseat with his seatbelt on and double-checked it before going to the driver seat.

Throughout the way Ayaan was blabbering about something or the other that happened in his school while nandu patiently listened to him while driving at 80 km per hour.

They both safely reached to their paradise.

At paradise mansion.

Nandini came out of the car and went towards Ayaan and carefully took him out of the car and making sure that he does not hit the roof of the car.

She then took the ever talking Ayaan inside the house.

She went directly to their room and put him on the bed. Then started to take off his shoes and socks making sure that she was not applying excess strength. She then took off his tie and belt. Then his clothes and took him towards the bathroom.

They played a little in the bath with nandu making bubbles while Ayaan was busy giggling.

Nandu wrapped a soft blue towel around him and took him into her arms. They went towards the closest where Ayaan selected a pair of shorts and a vest.

Nandu applied some moisturizing baby cream and some baby powder. Then dressed him up in his night attire.

Nandu took Ayaan and went down to see Ishika watching tom and jerry. Seeing Ishika, Ayaan started to jump happily in nandu's arms.

"Ayuuu... Jaan no jumping, please. You will fall, baby." She said and whoosh Ayaan stopped jumping. He just pouted and stretched his hand towards Ishika indicating 'he wanted to go there'.

Nandu put Ayaan beside Ishika on the big sofa and put some pillows near him. Just in case Ishika gets too into the tv forgetting the surroundings.

Ayaan and Ishika soon started talking in their own language...

For example,

"Ishi maa!!" He shouted while Ishika dramatically turned towards him.

"my cuddle bunnyyyy..." She too shouted as they both hugged each other as if they had finally met after years of separation. Then sat facing each other.

Ishika/ Ayaan: Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear... fuzzy wuzzy had no hair... fuzzy-wuzzy wasn't very fuzzy, was he?

They said and started laughing. I mean what's there to laugh but yeah it was funny where Ayuuu was mumbling a few words wrong.

Then there comes their favorite.

"Ishi maa, Ishi maa listen to me... that one..." He said while Ishika widened her eyes as if remembering and nodded her head.

"kya huva..." Ishika asked holding Ayaan's hand.

"chihuahua..." Ayaan shouted while Ishika tickled him.

Again there goes another round of laughter.

Seeing them laugh carefreely nandu smiled to herself and went to freshen up.

After changing into her PJs, she went towards the window.

*It was raining.*

Rain, that was once her favourite, was now just something that makes her remember everything that happened to her.

Everything she once loved killed her...

That's why love scares her...

More than love... the thought of losing Ayaan scares her most...

Ayaan is someone who came into her life 4 years and 9 months ago...

If I say love killed her... Then Ayaan kept her alive...

He was very important to nandu that if she didn't see his face every hour or spent time with him she was sure to go crazy with those memories...

As much as Ayaan reminds her of HIM... he was the only person to keep her sane...

She shook her head and went downstairs just to see Ayaan and Ishika laughing...

She went and sat beside Ayaan. Sensing his Mumma, Ayaan crawled into her lap and buried himself into her stomach while nandu gladly hugged him. Seeing them Ishika smiled and kept her head on nandu's shoulder.
