Here I am trying to run away from my monstrous mate.
He is ridiculous.Moron said that he would pay me more than I was paid at my cafe.
I mean who in their sane mind would want to punish the love of their life. Mates are special but this guy makes me feel worst.

I know that we are not lovers or anything but we are still bounded with a special bond and should respect it. But no all he has, is a big fat ego which he needs to satisfy anyhow. What if the moon gets angry and curses us.

She won't curse me because I was not the one who started it all. It was him and I think he should be cursed.

"Shame on you, you want your mate to be cursed."

"Like finally you spoke, I need your help. I need to get down from that window."

"I told you already I'm not.."
"Why, you got to help me. You can't do this"
"I am warning you, don't do this stupidity for you are going no where  but only to get in real trouble. Trust me this time even I won't be able to help." Zara said.

"Oh just shut up if you can't really help, don't at least discourage me. And you really think I am going to believe you after knowing what exactly you want."

"You know what it's no use to make you understand, I need talk to Ryan or demon before you pull out this stunt."

"Excuse me, who the hell are they?"

"You don't really need to know, just carry on with what you were doing."

"But listen, listen " she already blocked me out. "Just tell me for once they are not those fools standing outside", I said kneeling on the ground.

"God this girl has got some real attitude problem."

I tied the bedsheets together to make a rope. As I cannot jump out all because my foolish wolf is angry at me for trying to run. I guess there's hardly a chance of me being caught up because my jerk mate has gone out of the pack.

Only that he left two complete idiots to guard me or to keep an eye on me. Every hour and so they will check on me so I decided the moment they check on me and go out. I'll use this rope and go down. They won't be knowing about it before an hour and by then I'll surely be gone.
And if by any chance I get caught up I have this red chilli and cinnamon powder mixture, so that they won't be able to catch me and by the time their Alpha returns there will be no sign of me.

I tied one end of the sheet to the bed post and dropped the another one down. Making a dummy with pillow and covering it with sheets, I climbed down. As I was near to get down, my hold loosened and I fell down. But
I didn't hit the floor and was caught by someone.

Oh no! I opened my eyes and saw the green pair of eyes. Relief washed over me as I calmed down and thanked the Moon.

"Abhi, thank God it's you. I was scared."
" Yes its me, but what are you planning on."

"Uh come close", he came closer,"I'm running away"
"Again", he said almost yelled
"Shuuu, keep quiet, if anyone listens na I'm gonna kill you".

"But are you sure, the Alpha's on his way."
"Huh, quiet sure. I'll go away, far far away before he is here. Anyway I need to leave now before they find out."

"Okay, good luck. My prwetty doll"
" But for your knowledge he is kinda blessed with supernatural speed, just like vampires. So you need to be fast, if you don't want to get caught."

"Huh, how's this possible?"
"Of course it's possible, he's a hybrid."
"Hybrid Alpha? You mean the Alpha king"

I left smiling. Now I'll be free, but I can't surely go back to Our place. This might get RI into trouble.
I better run to some other place for if I stay here he is sure to find me.

I breathed and started running, cursing my faith. I ran as fast as my feet would carry me. After  covering a long distance  I took a break. I sat under a tree with my head leaned against it.

She had a look of shock on her face. She was about to say something when I stopped her showing my palm.

" Alpha, another of our pack member was found dead by the boundary. It looks like he was choked and died", my gamma mindlinked me.

" What, I'm coming."

This is too much now, two of my pack members were already killed last night and now this. I need to find out whose behind all this. It has to be someone within the pack. This girl, the moment she has stepped on , nothing good has happened. Now I know what real living trouble is.

I swear once I find him out, I'll make sure that I make him beg for his death.
I ran faster without bothering to inform my so called mate.

That reminds me last night I found this beautiful girl under a tree. She was a hybrid too. Well a werewolf and a witch. She had this amazing aura around her. She was crying and I couldn't help but get attracted to her.

I don't know why but I brought her home with me. I don't exactly remember what happened after that but my wolf, Ryan, was surely mad at me and demon, my vampire was all restless.

In the morning, I went up to check her of course my mate, only for my wolf. I entered the room and there she was sleeping like a baby, hugging a pillow. My wolf was going crazy imagining us instead of the pillow beside her.

These thoughts of him are going to remain a dream only. I am not going to accept her. I want someone powerful by my side who can protect my pack and be my strength. She is too fragile and is going to be my weakness anyway. Once everybody knows about her I am sure they will try to hurt my pack using her.

And I can't let that happen. My wolf growled at me and told that's why we are supposed to protect her and keep her safe.

"That's not happening in this life, dude", I replied curtly and shut him down.

I left the room and asked Cabir to get her to my cabin. Cabir is my best friend and the only one whom I can trust with my life.

"Alpha, there he is",Xander brought me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm, look nearby if you get any clues
And make sure that the patrolling is strict for the night. I am going to meet the elders. I will be back soon."

" And yes ask Raymon and Riley to keep an eye on the girl. Make sure she does not flee."
I said sternly.
"Yes, Alpha it will be taken care of", he said with a nod.

I got up in a dark room. Ahhh my head was paining and everything I see was a blur.

I tried to get up but it was not until another step that I fell down again.

I saw something moving.
"Who are you? And where am I ?"

As the person moved forward, I could now see him clearly.
"Abhi"
"Yup, nanz it's me",

"How are you feeling, now?"

"Not good at all, my head feels like it is being hit by a hammer or something, my vision is blurred and I feel so sleepy and tired."

"Oh you will be fine nanz, everything will be", he said smiling nodding at me.

"But where are we and why are you here even. And this pain did I get hurt or what."

"Yes, you were hit badly by the alpha while you were trying to run."

What that moron  had the guts to hit me. I'll kill him, how dare he. But why don't I remember anything.

Last time I ...I was running and stopped near a tree. Yeah

" Nanz what's wrong" Abhi said breaking the chain of my thoughts.

"But all I remember is that I was sitting under a tree and fell asleep."

"Yes, you fell asleep and that is when the Alpha found you, he was furious. You tried to run again and that's when the Alpha slapped you and you hit the wall hard. You got unconscious, I rescued you from there and brought you here at my secret underground residence.
Don't worry you are safe in here."

"Really, he hit me?"
"Yes, don't you believe me", he asked disappointment clearly visible in his voice.
"No no, of course I believe you."I said still not sure.

"How will we get out of here? I mean how long exactly will we be staying here?" I asked wanting to get out of here.
He looked angry.

"I just meant to say we can't stay here forever na."I tried to reason myself.

"Oh about that you don't need to worry. I'll find some way out till then you can go and rest. There is some food in it if you're hungry. And candles because you hate darkness." He said handling me a small bucket.
