Next morning, Nandu woke up early and made ansh take his bath and fed his food. She left sooner to her office than usual time.

Navya: why are you in hurry Nandu? Atleast have your breakfast

Nandu: no Navya,new boss has come and I am his PA so I have lots of work to do. I am leaving now and ansh beta don't trouble Navya chachi....

Navya: he is my good boy and he will not trouble me right na ansh..

Ansh: yech Chachi...

Nandu: now come give Mumma a good bye kissi and Huggie...

Ansh gave a soulful kiss and hug to his mom. It was his daily routine to send Nandu to office with a crying face... Afterall he was also a kid who needs his ma 24/7. But Navya didn't let him feel the lack of mumma's presence, love and care. When Nandu was not at home, Navya will be like his mother.

Nandu decided not to go to office as she still had 1hour to catch up. She decided to go to her favourite destination- the temple. Only there she finds her peace of mind which was most wanted at this time. She prayed god to give her the courage to go to her office, to face him! Acting like there was no past between them was killing her but she had to do so... Being in front of him, calling him sir, fear of him, everything was new for her... Listening a word sorry from his mouth was also new for her but her heart didn't want him to be forgiven soo easily.

After spending a good time in temple, she felt calm and a confidence automatically came in her to meet him! Her past!!

She hurried to her office as she is running out of time.

She entered in his cabin as she spends her office hours there only. She was happy on not seeing him as she is 10 minutes late and she didn't want to get scoldings from the punctual king- her boss!

Slowly she sat with her laptop to give a final check to her presentation.

But at once, her hands stopped working, her breath paused for a while, her brain stopped thinking and she became numb.... The only thing that was functioning in her entire body is her heart which also was beating faster than usual. All these effects could happen only because of one person! Who can it be none other than him???

Manik: good morning Miss. Murty! A small remainder is that you are 10 minutes late!

Nandini: woo... Actually sir...

Manik: no more excuses! Be punctual always. Is the presentation ready??

Nandini: yes sir.

He went away to presentation room. She sat in entire shock as she expected something worst from him! He hates people who are not punctual and he will immediately fire them from the office. But this time his action was quite suprising to her!!

Not to be late again, she went to the presentation room...

Nandini was showing the presentation to the clients. She felt someone's intense gaze on her. She found the source of the intense gaze. It was obviously her manik's eyes...!! No not her manik's eyes.... It's Mr. Malhotra's eyes. She felt uneasy but at the same time felt relieved that it was him and not anyone else. She completed her presentation and she came to Manik for the approval. But out lover boy paid no heed to the presentation as he was lost in her! He was engrossed in admiring his love! It was the first time that THE MÀNIK MALHOTRA had lost focus and his concentration was on someone else...... Soon they cracked the deal.. The clients left leaving MaNan alone in the room.

Manik: you are seriously looking breath taking in this salwar. I just can't control myself.... I can't take my eyes off you!

Nandini: sir I think it's time for me to leave..

Manik: stop Nandini! Enough of this hide and seek. I am sick of this now.... I know that I have done a mistake and I am bearing the punishment from last 5 years... Let's forget it and live in the present na..

Nandini: exactly sir, let's live in the present. The present is that, you are the boss and I am your employee.

Manik: Nandini, please stop this. Your cold behaviour is just haunting me...

Nandini: I am leaving for lunch!

Manik: listen I am not yet done!!

Nandini: I don't care sir! It's the lunch break.

Manik: no problem miss. Murty! You will anyway come here only na after lunch, let's talk then...
( Says with attitude)

Nandini didn't reply anything and went out to some hotel for having her lunch. She knows that if she goes to canteen, he will follow her and he will not let her to even eat peacefully!!

After a while, lunch break was over and Manik impatiently waited for Nandini.

Maniks pov:
Where is she? Why has she not turned up yet?? I need to speak to her now! If it is not sorted now, it will never be sorted! But how can I sort it out when she is not even ready to face me?? I have to do something....

He then enquired to the HR about her whereabouts. He came to know that she has taken half a day leave. Initially he was soo angry on her for that. She took a leave and she didn't even inform him about that.

Here at home,

Nandini was warmly welcomed home by Navya and her ansh. The little baby was very excited to see his Mumma early from the office. He went and gave her a bone crashing hug.

Ansh: Mumma you must take me out.

Nandu: where do u wanna go baby?

Ansh: I wanna go to park and before that I wanna eat the ice cream..

Nandu: ok. Done....

Navya: ok ansh baby first take a small nap and then continue with your outing....

Nandu: Navya, will you accompany me?

Navya: no when abheer comes home, he needs me. You continue and have some ma-beta time...

Nandu: thanks Navya....
