Mukti along with Manik reached Murthy house as they plan on to leave together for meeting her parents. Kaka opens the door.

Manik(politely): Namaste, kaka. Kaise ho aap?

Kaka(smiled): Bahut badiya, beta. Bahut dino baad aaye.

Manik(smiled): Haan, the album and all na. Busy the. By the way, yeh Mukti hai. Abhimanyu ki girlfriend and my friend.

They greet each other. Before they could talk further, they hear Nandu's scream followed by Abhimanyu's. The trio runs upstairs. They find Nandu glaring at Abhimanyu and he was standing on the bed with a book in his hands. Manik recognizes it as the diary.

Kaka(slapping his forehead): Yeh dono kab se jhagad rahe hai iss kitaab ke liye.

Manik(assured): Kaka aap jayiye. Hum dono sambhal lenge.

He nods and leaves. Manik and Mukti go in.

Mukti(puzzled): Abhimanyu, why the hell are you standing on the bed. Niche utaro.

Manik(confused): Nandu, kya hua?

Nandu(sternly): Manik, Mukti, wait a minute. Abhi, hand over that diary to me.

Abhi(whined): Itna kya secrets hai isme? Main kyu nahi dekh sakta?

Nandu(threatened): Abhimanyu Murthy, if you aren't giving me my diary back, I will spill out your romantic secret about Miss. Rose to Mukti.

Mukti(furious): What the hell? Abhimanyu Murthy, who the hell is she?

Abhi(scared): Mukti, calm down. I can explain.

Getting off the bed, he was busy 'trying' to make Mukti listen to him when Nandu asks Manik to take the diary from him. Taking the diary from Manik, Nandu smiles victoriously.

Nandu(casually): Mukti, calm down. Rose was his English teacher in class 7th. He kind of had a crush on her and wrote his first love letter to her. Now, I guess she's married and has two kids.

Manik was amused to see this side of Nandu as Mukti stares at her in disbelief.

Abhi(whines): Babydoll, this isn't fair. Mujhe bhi padhna hai diary.

Nandu(teased): Apni diary khud likho and read.

Abhi: Nandu.

Manik(softly): Okay, guys. Stop fighting now. We are getting late.

Abhi nods.

Nandu(asked): Manik, can I come too?

Manik(frowned): Why? Tum kya karogi udhar?

Nandu(concerned): Please. It's related to my brother's life and I can't leave him alone during this.

Manik(sarcastically): Do minute pehle yeh bhai ka pyaar kaha gaya?

Nandu glares at Manik. Abhi proudly smiles and side hugs her.

Mukti(chuckles): babydoll, chal. You don't have to ask.

Nandu smirks at Manik and the girls leave.

Manik(adored): Teri behen mujhe daily ek naya surprise deti hai.

Abhi(flaunts): Meri jo behen hai.

Manik(teased): Of course, bilkul tujh par nahi gayi.

Abhi(declared): I hate you.

Abhi storms out of the room while Manik chuckles and follows him.

XYZ Bar

As they reach the place, Mukti feels a bit nervous which was noticed by Abhimanyu. He entwines their fingers and gives her an assuring smile. They start to go in, when Manik pulls Nandu aside, asking Mukbhi for a minute.

Manik(softly): Nandu, this place isn't for you and they aren't the best people to talk to. You will feel uncomfortable inside. Just stay here.

Nandu(argued): But Manik.

Manik(cutting her off): I need you to be strong when Mukti returns. I don't think she'll stay during the entire conversation. They would definitely piss her off. Just take care of Mukti while we are inside.

She nods in understanding. Manik hands her the car keys.

Manik(cupping her face): Take the keys with you. The guys around aren't even in their senses and hence, please don't get down. And if you feel anything near to trouble, just give me a call. I will be right back for you.

She nods.

Manik(assured): Don't worry about Abhimanyu. I will take care of him. You just stay safe and don't get down.

After placing a protective kiss on her forehead, he leaves but not before making sure about her safety.

Inside the bar

Manik spots Mukti's parents at one of the private glass chambers and whispers in her ear.

Manik(promised): Be strong, Mukti. I promise, this is the last time, they would be hurting you. But just remember, we both are there to protect you. Don't be scared. They don't deserve it.

Mukti nods. Even in the dim lights, she felt confident with her two armors besides her.

Inside the chamber

Mrs. Vardhan(sarcastically): Look who's here. My beautiful daughter. But what happened to your fashion sense. Is this the way you come to the club and that too after you yourself being a fashion designer?

Mr. Vardhan(mocked): Or maybe, she couldn't afford the proper clothes with her so-called dream.

Mukti(mocked): I can very well afford my needs. Unlike some people, I am not dependent on any inherited properties.

Mr. Vardhan(fumed): How dare you, you bi..

Abhi(yelled): Complete that word and I won't think twice to rip your head apart.

Mr. Vardhan(furious): And who the hell are you to talk to me in this tone?

Manik(fake upset): Ahan, guys. Don't be surprised. How sad of you two. Don't you know it's disrespectful to not recognize your to-be son-in-law?

Mrs. Vardhan(arrogantly): Who are you and what's your background? We can't approve a roadside guy to be our son-in-law.

Manik(sarcastically): Roadside? You are talking as if you have much experience with the roadside people. Don't tell me you are living there nowadays. Is it? Which area?

Mr. Vardhan(glared): Manik, behave.

Mukti(announced): Manik, wait. I don't really have time and patience to talk to you. He's Abhimanyu, Abhimanyu Murthy and I am getting married to him. I know you don't care but unfortunately, you gave me birth and hence this information.

Mrs. Vardhan(disgusted): You proved, you attract only these low-class people.

Mukti(chuckled sadly): Yeah low class. Just the same way I am your daughter, right?

Mr. Vardhan(regretful): We didn't have any choice with you. You were nothing but a mistake in our lives.

Mukti(screamed): Then why didn't you kill me the day I was born?

Abhi(squeezing her shoulder): Mukti.

Mrs. Vardhan(laughed): Don't worry, boy. You are just her new target after Manik.

Manik, Abhi(confused): What?

Mrs. Vardhan(wickedly): Don't act so innocent, Manik. I know what happens in an elaborate night out. And Mukti used to spend every other night at your place.

Mukti(shouted): Enough. Enough. (Warned in a dangerously low tone) Don't even utter Manik's name from your bloody mouth. Stay away from my life. You aren't my parents anymore. I am dropping my surname from today.

Mr. Vardhan(blackmailed): You won't get a single penny from my will.

Mukti(emotionlessly): Even if I starve to death, I won't knock on your door. This is a promise to you from Mukti Abhimanyu Murthy. Guys, I am waiting outside.

She storms off.

Abhi(warned): Stay away from Mukti otherwise you have to see the evil side of me.

Mr. Vardhan(glared): Don't use these fake threatens on us. Kya karoge tum? If I am not wrong, you are just an employee of Manik. You are nothing without him.

Manik(angrily): Don't speak nonsense about my best friend.

Mr. Vardhan(defended): We are just concerned about our daughter.

Manik(emotionless): Yeah, the daughter you had left years ago. The daughter you don't even care if she's alive or.. Do you know who's he? He has been everything to Mukti what you couldn't ever be. He introduced 'love' to her, made her believe it when she stopped trusting it because of you people. He is her peace and her strength. You saw Mukti, right? What did you guys do to her? Abhi: Manik.

Manik(chuckled sadly): Why am I even telling you all this? With Abhimanyu in her life, she will further grow as a human being and you will regret every second because of the decision you made while leaving her. Now let's discuss what's important.

He takes some papers from his coat.

Mr. Vardhan(puzzled): What are these?

Manik(smiled evilly): Restraining orders. If you try to harass Mukti, be it physically, mentally or emotionally, you will be put behind the bars.

Mrs. Vardhan(stuttered): What the hell?

Manik(smirked): I am damn sure, you both would be looking more beautiful and handsome behind the bars in those clothes. Just like some made for each other couple. Abhimanyu, let's go.

Manik drags Abhimanyu leaving a shocked Vardhans behind. After reaching the car, Manik hugs him tight. Seeing them, the girls get out of the car.

Manik(cooed): It's all over. Don't let their words affect you. They are just manipulative. You are everything to me and I love you. I am nothing without you, Abhi.

Mukti(glancing Nandu disbelievingly): What the hell? Aren't these two supposed to hug me? He should be comforting me with those words lekin yeh dono apne hi duniya mein khoye hai. Great.

Manik(teased): Stop being a jealous kid.

Mukti glares at him in disbelief when they both attack her into a hug. Manik pulls Nandu into the hug.

Manik(smirked): Mukti, it's all over. I have taken restraining orders too. They can't even come near you or contact you.

Mukti(surprised): Yeh kab kiya tune? This was what you meant when you said about meeting them the last time.

Manik grins when Mukti chuckles and turns towards Abhimanyu.

Mukti(explained): Abhi, nothing happened in those night outs. We just used to talk and share our problems. He is more than a brother to me.

Abhi(cupping her face): You don't have to explain to me, Mukti. I trust you both. But I was thinking if I really deserve you or not.

Manik(assured): I told you not to take their words seriously. They are sick. Remember, you and Cabir, we all started our careers together. We handle the projects equally. You are love. The best person and the second purest soul I have ever met.

Abhi(pouts): First kaun?

Manik(looking at Nandu): Teri behen.

Nandu glares at him.

Mukti(to Abhi, confessed with all the love.she has for him): You are more than I deserve. You are love. I should be the one telling you these words. Abhimanyu, you are my happiness. I started smiling after I met you. You have been an important part of my life. And I am not losing you because of some unwanted people. And if you don't mind can we leave, please? I am starving.

They all laugh and gets in the car with Manik driving and Nandu beside him. Mukbhi at the back as Mukti rested her head on Abhi's shoulder.

Inside the car

Nandu(mumbled): Manik.

Manik(smiled): Haan, Nandu.

Nandu(confused): Can anyone explain what exactly happened there? I expected Mukti to be sad but she came angry and then smiled whereas bhai was upset.

Manik(teased): Ouch, Ms. Sherlock Holmes is still confused. Didn't you figure it out yet?

Nandu glares at him.

Mukti(smiled): I was angry at their words but seeing you, I calmed down, Nandu. I now understood why it's so easy for you to calm down Manik. Your innocence is infectious.

Manik and Abhi smiled at her. Nandu is their angel and they would do anything to protect her.

Manik(blushed): She's innocent yet mature. Just the perfect combination.

Nandu(uncomfortably): Can we not talk about me, please.

Manik(teased): Oh yeah, I forgot. She can't handle compliments.

Nandu(whined): Manik, tumhe hamesha main hun kyu milti hoon tease karne?

Manik(lovingly): Because you are another piece of my heart.

Nandu blushed. To save her from further teasing, Abhi interrupted Manik's teasing session.

Abhi(dramatically): And babydoll, I was upset because I missed you. Bahut sara.

Manik(fake hurt): Saale. Main tujhe itni badi speech deta hun. And tu hamesha mujhe ditch karta hai. I guess, I have trust issues.

Abhi(smirked): And I have my babydoll and Mukti.

Mukti(slapping her head): Babydoll, remind me why did I even sit beside your brother and not you.

Abhi pouts. Continuing the teasing session, they reach Murthy House. They all get down the car when Mukti stops Abhimanyu from going inside.

Mukti(asked): Abhi, can we please go home? I want to meet Mom.

Abhi nods and hugs her.

Manik(concerned): Mukti, are really you fine?

Mukti(assured): Of course, I am. I am missing mom. Have fun you two and no adult stuff while we are out.

She winks and drags Abhi to the car, leaving a blushing Manan behind.
