Nandu's room

Fab5 and Navya went to Nandu's room and found Abhimanyu sleeping peacefully hugging a pillow. But what gained their attention was a sweet voice of a girl singing, from the balcony.

Reaching there, they find Nandu with the Veena and singing some melodious song.

(Agar tum saath ho)

Nandu stops abruptly when she feels someone's presence in her room. She gets shocked seeing Fab5 there.

Abhi(sleepily): Babydoll, ga na. Kitna acha lag raha tha.

Manik finds a mug of water beside the bed and empties it on Abhimanyu.

Abhi(rants, still with eyes closed): Rain Rain go away. Come again another time. Little Abhimanyu wants to sleep.

Everyone chuckles at him.

Manik(shouts): Idiot, wake up. We need to talk.

He wakes up listening to Manik's voice.

Abhi(surprised): Manik, tu yahan?

He looks at Nandu and she points towards her Veena. Understanding the situation, he asks everyone to sit. He pulls Nandu beside him and wraps his hand around her shoulder protectively. After minutes of silence, when no one was ready to break it, Abhimanyu decides to initiate as he saw Nandini nervously fidgeting with her fingers.

Abhi(coolly): Guys, stop scaring my sister with this silence. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Glaring at him, Manik asks Nandini.

Manik(accusingly): You know how to sing and tumhari woh line kya thi?

Cabir(mimicking her): I don't even know the 's' of singing.

Nandu looks at Manik. Seeing her nervous, he softens up and goes to Nandini. Kneeling in front of her, he takes her hands in his.

Manik(smiling widely): Tumhe pata hai, tum kitna acha gaati ho?

Abhi(proudly): Mujhe pata hai na. Isliye I never miss an opportunity to listen her singing.

Manik(glared): Haan dikh raha tha how were you listening on the bed hugging that pillow.

Abhi(explained): Arey, even though my eyes were closed, my ears were open.

Rolling his eyes at him, Manik continued.

Manik(whispered): Why didn't you try becoming a singer instead? Your voice seems so well-trained. Why are you wasting it, Nandini?

Nandu(emotionally): Manik..

Seeing her getting emotional, Abhimanyu tightens his hold on her. Manik does the same, tightening his grip on her hands. She looks at Abhi and he blinks his eyes. Taking a deep breath, she confesses.

Nandu: Manik, I love stars as much as I love music. But I neither wanted to be an astrophysicist nor a singer. Because of my parents, I am emotionally connected with these two. I can't make money on something that carries my parents' memories. That's exactly the reason why I don't want to be the band manager of a music band. But Abhimanyu asked me to consider it as helping you people.

Manik(raising an eyebrow): Is this the reason why you wanted to go back home on that day?

Nandu(nodding her head): If I miss a day's riyaz, I feel like missing my Mom. And staring at stars gives me the strength of my Dad.

Everyone had tears listening to her except Manik who was smiling at her. Standing up, he placed a deep long kiss on her forehead.

Manik(proudly): You know Nandini, we all respect you a lot. After listening to your views on music, you just reached to greater heights in all our hearts, in my heart. You are a blessing Nandu.

To lighten up the atmosphere, Cabir intervenes.

Cabir(suggested impatiently): Bahut ho gaya ab. Chalo breakfast karte hai. Bhook lagi hai.

Everyone chuckles at him. Manik cups the cheeks of both the siblings who were by now went silent remembering Nandu's parents.

Manik(cooed): My adorable babies, go freshen up. We are going to your place for breakfast.

He says the last line looking towards Abhimanyu. Nandu excuses herself to the washroom. Abhimanyu moves towards his room when Manik stops him. Hugging him, he whispers.

Manik(whispered softly): She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever come across. And more than half of the credits goes to you. You have always stood by her as a pillar. You have been her biggest strength for years. Stop blaming yourself now, Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu was dumbstruck at Manik's words. He was indeed blaming himself for the accident for years now even though Nandu and his own parents asked him not to. He hugged back Manik tightly, brushing away slight tears that were formed in his eyes. Breaking the hug, he avoided eye contact with everyone.

Abhi: Main fresh hokar aata hun

He leaves towards his room without waiting for everyone.

Cabir(concerned): Manik, is he fine?

Manik(sighing): He blames himself for that accident of Nandu's parents. He was there with them during the accident.

Everyone was lost in their own thoughts when Mukti excused herself for a call. She goes to find Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu's room

Mukti finds him standing near the balcony. She goes towards him and hugs him backward. Sensing her touch, he breaks the hug and turns to face her.

Abhi(fake smiled): Mukti, tum yahan? Just give me two minutes. I will come back.

Mukti(smiled): Haan woh sab theek hai. Will you come to a place with me?

Abhi(confused): Where?

Mukti(excitedly): There's a place here in Mumbai. There's a kid. People claim him for having some special qualities. You know they say he can change real life events. He can stop accidents, calamities etc.

Abhi(surprised): Do you believe all this, Mukti?

Mukti(stated): That kid believes it. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. If at all he fails to show his power, people beat him badly.

Abhi(in disgust): That's ridiculous.

Mukti(cupping his face): Exactly. Mr. Abhimanyu Murthy, whatever you are thinking is also ridiculous. You were a kid when that accident took place. Do you think you were a superman or an astrologer to avoid that accident? All this was destiny which isn't in our hands. But in spite of all that you did a brilliant job in supporting your sister. By not leaving her side even for once. Stop blaming yourself for the things which aren't in your hands, Abhi.

He hugged her tight and she kept rubbing his back to calm him down.

Nandu's room

As soon as Nandu came out of the washroom, Manik strolled towards her.

Manik(softly): Nandini, we won't force you into anything that you don't want to do. But your singing is so peaceful to listen. (cheekily) So, would you mind if we randomly drop here on someday?

Nandu chuckles and nods in a no.

Manik(worried): Nandu, are you fine?

Nandu(smiled softly): I am fine, Manik. But I think Abhi isn't fine. Where is he?

Manik(frowning): He went to his room to freshen up.

Nandu: Acha, you people wait here. I will bring him back.

Nandu starts leaving when she hears Manik talking to Cabir.

Manik(asked): Cabir, where's Mukti?

Cabir(informed): Pata nahi. She went to attend some call, right?

Guessing her whereabouts, she says.

Nandu(suggested): Manik, woh first time aayi na yahan. She might have lost her way. I will bring them both. Why don't you all wait in the car?

Manik nods. Nandu leaves for Abhimanyu's room.

Abhimanyu's room

She knocks the door before entering. Listening to knock, Abhimanyu and Mukti break their hug and stands apart afraid. Seeing them scared, Nandu chuckles.

Nandu: Guys relax. It's me.

She goes towards them.

Nandu(seriously): Mukti, tumne mere bhai ko dekha hai kya kahin? He keeps on smilingly for every damn thing.

Mukti(surprised): Really? Actually even I was searching for my boyfriend who just keeps on flirting with me.

Nandu(shocked): Tumhara boyfriend bhi kho gaya? Aur tum yeh kis ladke se baat kar rahi ho? Kitna rota hai yeh.

Mutki(sadly): Nandu yaar, main bhi same soch rahi thi. Chalo kisi ache ladke ko dhondte hain jo smile karta ho. Mujhe boyfriend mil jayega aur tumhe tumhara bhai.

Nandu(excited): Come Mukti.

Abhi(horrified): Are you both planning to replace me with someone else?

Mukti(fake surprised): Sorry, but who are you?

Abhi(declared): Nahi. See I am smiling. Tum dono mujhe replace nahi karoge.

He smiled to assure them. They both grinned at each other and jumped together on him for a hug while he happily hugged back both his lifelines.
