Nandu : Hello

Caller : I hope you haven't been kidnapped on your way to home?

Nandu : Manik?

Manik : ofcourse my new friend. Nahi tho kisiki itni himmat that they call you at this time of night.

Nandu : I didn't have your number, so I didn't pick it up before.

Manik : It's ok. I understand. Waise kya kar rahi thi? Are you again with your books?

Nandu : Nahi. I was just talking to Abhimanyu.

Manik in mind : Abhimanyu

Manik : Nandu I will call you later. Bye.

Call kaat diya? Why did he even call? Chalo, I have some other work. Let me finish that first.

Ek baat bolun. I think I have started liking this guy Manik. Atleast Nandu mujhse daily baat tho kar rahi hai. I hope he is behaving properly with my Nandu nahi tho that would be his last day. Ok wait, let me talk to my Nandu first.

You know, how happy I am today? Yesterday, the person with whom I accidentally collided, turned out to be Cabir, one of my boss.

Omg yaar Nandu, tune tho pehle hi din panga le liya 😱😱

When Abhi introduced me to him, I was totally scared and there he asked me to be his sister.

Seriously, so Cabir is a nice person😅

Then Manik.

Aagaya story ka second hero, kyunki first tho mein hun😂😂

I went to his cabin with his coffee and he shouted at me. Not literally, but he was talking to me in a disinterested tone that I felt so bad.

Uski itni himmat. Marega vo mere haat😤😤

I left from there and the next time I went to his cabin, he was all up with his over-excitement which I don't have any idea about. I actually thought him to be suffering from some bipolar disorder. I know its stupid of me.

We went for a meeting, which went ok as Manik was backing me up wherever required.

The most important thing is he remembers. He remembers me. He knows me. He took me to our school.

What? Ok. This is shocking😱

How stupid of him to think that I don't know him, when every single person in our school does. He was literally introducing himself to me that he was my classmate.

The best part was his confession. He asked me to be his friend. The confession which had so much purity in it by the end of which I had tears in my eyes.

Good that atleast now you are friends. Kahani thodi aage tho badi. Nahi tho paanch saal se wahi atki hui hai😎😎

So finally, after all these years, we became friends.
He took me to eat pani puri, in his words, his treat to celebrate our new friendship.
You know how cute he is. He was upset with Cabir bhai because Cabir bhai always eats his pani puri. He is the CEO of his company and he was fighting for his pani puri. I just felt like pulling his cheeks.

Banda theek thaak lag raha hai. Hayee pani puri. Muh mein PANI aagaya.😍

Nandu glances over her watch and realizes it to be too late so goes to sleep.

Next Morning
Manik couldn't properly sleep the whole night. He freshens up and finds Cabir sitting in the hall. Cabir gets worried seeing his red eyes.

Cabir : Manik what happened to your eyes? Didn't you sleep last night? Shall we go to the doctor?

Manik : Cabir I am fine yaar. Vo

Before Manik could say anything, Cabir gets a call

Cabir : I need to take this bro. I will be back.

Meanwhile, Manik (to himself): Am I sounding too desperate for Nandini? I think I should have some patience.

Cabir : Manik tu kuch bol raha tha?

Manik : Nahi. I am fine. Vo bas raat mein neend nahi aa rahi thi. Chale? We are getting late for office.

Cabir : are you sure? Why don't you sleep? I will handle the things at office today.

Manik : No I am fine. If I am not, mein aajaunga wapas.

They have their breakfast and leave for office.

At office

Nandu brings Manik his black coffee along with the day's schedule but freaks out as soon as she sees his red eyes.

Nandu : Manik are you fine? What happened to your eyes? They have become so red. Why didn't you go to hospital? Why...

Manik : Good morning to you too, Nandini.

Nandu : Manik I am asking something.

Manik : Haan tho I am fine. I didn't sleep properly last night so this. Now happy?

Nandu : You could have stayed at home na.

Manik : I am fine yaar. Really. I will get bored at home, alone. By the way, you didn't wish me good morning yet. (Diverting her attention)

Nandu : offo Manik. Good morning. Happy?

Manik : very. Aaj ka schedule?

Nandu : Cabir bhai asked you to take rest. He is taking care of your meetings today and I will be helping him. If you need anything you can call me(she said this a bit hesitatingly as she doesn't feel she could say that, as there is Cabir who Manik would call)

Manik : Sure. (With a smile)

Nandu leaves.

Manik (to himself) : Ek Cabir jo kam tha ki ab yeh bhi start ho gayi. Achi ladki ko choose kiya hai as his sister. But she cares Man(and blushes a bit)

But there are two people who were shocked to the core seeing The Manik Malhotra blush, and they are,

Person1 : Listen I think I am dead.

Person 2 : Is it? mujhe bhi wahi lag raha hai.

Both of them go to Manik

Person 1: Hello sir. I am Cabir Dhawan. And he is my friend Abhimanyu. You must be Yamraj right? There is a friend of mine, Manik Malhotra. Vo bhi bas aap hi ki tarah dikhta hai.

Manik : Cabir what Yamraj? Pagal ho gaya hai kya?

Abhimanyu : Cabir Cabir, see Yamraj ji bhi Manik ki tarah hi chillate hain.

Cabir : you are right bro.

Manik : Ho gaya tum logon ka? Now care to explain what is this drama and all?

Cabir : Manik baba drama nahi. Aap agar itna blush karenge tho sabka yehi haal hoga

Manik : Cabir are you mad? I am not blushing (looks down)

Cabir leaves the topic as he kind-of know the reason but couldn't ask him infront of Abhimanyu. While Abhi finds it a bit fishy but eventually leaves the topic. Manik sighs in relief.

Manik : You people here? Koi kaam tha?

Abhi : Haan Manik. I wanted to invite you to dinner tonight at my place. Bahut din hogaye na, Mom wanted to see you. Are you free tonight?

Manik : of course yaar. I will be there. Aur Cabir tu?

Cabir : bhai, jahan khana vaha Cabir. No need to specially ask me.

Manik smiles. They wrap up their work soon. Manik was about to leave when his eyes fell on a letter on his desk. He picks it up and sees his name written on it. He was about to open it when he gets a call from Cabir, so he takes the letter along with some important stuff and leaves.

Meanwhile, at parking lot,

Abhi : Nandu chal na?

Nandu : Abhi meine mana nahi kiya na. I just need to go home for some work. Phir mein aajaungi.

Abhi : And that important work is reading some unfinished book of yours, right?

Nandu : Nahi. I will be there na.

Abhi : ok fine. See agar nahi aayi na tho Mom tujhe chodegi nahi. Then it's your wish.

Nandu : aayungi baba

Abhi gives a quick hug to Nandu and leaves which was seen by someone.
