Next morning everyone was busy with the preparations. Manik and Nandini went to finalise their outfits.  Later in the afternoon the girls went to spa to relax themselves. The roka was a night function. Only close friends and relatives we're invited. The girls came back in the evening and assembled in Nandini's room to get ready for the function. The boys on the other hand we're in Manik's room.

It was seven in the evening when guests started to arrive.

Manik's Room
He was sitting on the bed while Cabir was standing in front of the mirror. Ahimanyu was in the washroom and Dhruv was busy cursing Cabir.

Dhruv- Cabir ht na aage se. Mujhe bhe baal bnane hai.

Abhimanyu- yeh abhi tk mirror aage khara hai... Cabir bs kr yrr hum sbko bhe teyaar hone de.

Abhimanyu who came out of the washroom after changing spoke.

Cabir- tumlog ko kyu itni jldi hai. Betho na thodi deer shanti se.

Manik- saalo roka mera hai aur mujhe ko teyaar hone ke lia wait krna padhraha hai. Abhimanyu, Dhruv tum dono washroom vaale mirror se kaam chalalo. Cabir ht jaa vrna aaj tu niche jaane ke layk nae bchega.

Cabir- haa haa ht gya. (He spoke making faces).Aaeaa Manik baba aaea. The dressing table and mirror is all yours.

Manik passed him a murderous look and started gelling his hair. There was a knock on the door. Cabir opened and saw the three other men standing outside all ready in

     Ram              Karan         Anurag

(Ignore the pagri and the maala in the 1st picture).

Cabir made the way so that then could enter.

Karan- baaki sb kaha hai??

Manik- teyaar horae hai. Abhimanyu washroom mein hai aur Dhruv apne room se shoes laane gya hai.

Anurag- Manik tu abhi tk teyaar kyu nae hua? ?

Manik in return looked at Cabir and gave him glare.

Abhimanyu- iss Cabir ke vjah as uncle. Kb se aaene ke aage khara tha.

He spoke adjusting his dress coming out from the washroom. They sat on the bed. Manik then resumed his work. Meanwhile Dhruv too me back. Manik was wearing his shoes when Neyonika seeing the door open entered.

Neyonika- Manu teyaar hogya beta??

Manik- haa maa!!!! I'm ready.

Neyonika- haii!!!! Kinna sona lgrea ee mera bacha.... kisay di nzr na lgje mere munde nu(kitna acha lgraha hai mera bacha... kisi ke nzr na lgjae)

Saying this she put kaala teeka behind his ear. She then turned to the others and spoke

Neyonika- aap sb yaha kya krrae ho. Bacho ka toh samajh aata hai... Anurag, Ram aap dono bhe.

Anurag- shant biwi shant.... humlog toh yaha insb ko dekhne aae thay ke yeh log teyaar hue yaa nae.

Neyonika- dekh lia na abhi chalea. Niche guests aagae hai aur family mein se koe bhe member vha present nae hai. Bacho tum sb bhe chalo niche.

Anurag- vese aaj koe bohot sundr lgraha hai kyu bhai Ram.....

The younger clan booted while Neyonika hid her face in her hands. Seeing this everyone started laughing. Manik wrapped his hand around her still laughing.

Manik- bs kro mere mom ko pareshaan mt kro sbhi.

Neyonika too hugged him back hiding his face in his chest.

The others went out now only Manik, Cabir, Dhruv and Abhimanyu we're left along with Neyonika.

Neyonika- acha tum sb bhe niche jao mein lrliyon ko dekhkr aati hu teyaar hue yaa nae abhi tk...

Boys nodded and giving a final touchup, they moved down. Here Neyonika entered Nandini's room and saw the girls ready. They all we're looking ethreal.

Neyonika- are wahh!!!! Aaj toh mere sbhi bachiya pariyon se bhe sundr lgrae hai.

She then moved forward and kissed each one of their foreheads; blessing them, putting kaala teeka behind their ear.

Navya and Cabir

Neyonika -  acha chalo bacho bohot deer hogae hai. Muhurat ka bhe time hogya hai, pandit ji aate he honge.

Mukti-  mom ruko na... let's click a few pictures phir chalenge.

They then clicked a few group selfies and a few individual pictures too. Neyonika hurriedly moved down and then asked the girls too to come.  

Navya- hum niche dekh kr aate hai sb kesa chl raha hai.

She left and now the trio we're sitting and chatting. Alya's phone beeped with a text from Dhruv asking if they we're ready or not.

Alya- guys I think ab humme niche jaana chahia.

Nandini- emm. ... I think yeh hair pin loose horae hai.

Mukti- mein dekhti hu aap yaha pe betho.

Alya- acha tum dono niche aajana isko set krke mein chalti hu. Vo chunri aur baaki sb lekr jaana hai navya won't be able to handle alone.

They nooded and Alya left. Soon Nandini and Mukti too moved down.  They we're climbing down the stairs when they saw Neyonika, Navya and Alya with pandit ji. Both her fathers and brother we're standing near the entrance welcoming the guests. Manik and Dhruv we're talking to some guests while Abhimanyu and Cabir we're nowhere to be seen.  Dhruv saw the duo climbing so he spoke aloud for everyone to hear.

Dhruv- look the bride to be is here.

Everyone turns towards the stairs where Nandini and Mukti we're climbing down. Nandini gots nervous with all the attention she was getting. Manik notices this and moves forward. As she was on the last stair he offers his hand to her. She looks at him. He blinks his eyes in assurance and she keeps her hand on his. He then turns to Mukti and gives his other hand to her. She giggles and accepts it. Abhimanyu comes from behind and spoke

Abhimanyu- may I do the honours???

He asks for Mukti's hand. Manik smiling gives her hand in his.

Soon they we're joined by the elders too. Neyonika was introducing Nandini to some of the relatives. 

Anurag- guriya idhr aana beta....

He calls her from other side. She mumbles an excuse me and went to him. He then introduces her to some of his business friends.

It was time for the ceremony to start. Manik and Nandini we're asked to sit on the couch specially arranged for them. Pandit ji performed the puja and asked Neyonika to put chunri on Nandini's head and give gifts.

Neyonika and Anurag together gifted her and blessed both of their kids.

Pandit ji then asked Nandini's parents to do Manik's tilak and give him gifts. Everyone looked at Ram who had tears in eyes. He wipes his tears and with smile approaches Manan.  He then did Manik's tilak and gave him gifts.

The guests one by one came and congatulated them both. Soon it was dinner time so keeping the gifts aside everyone moved to have dinner which was arranged in the lawn. Neyonika instructed the servants to keep the gifts safely in Manik and Nandini's rooms and lock them properly.

Soon the guests started to leave. Now only the family members we're left.

Anurag- bhai mein toh bohot thak gya aaj. Pr abse Ram guriya officially hummaare hue.

Ram- haa haa thiik hai na.... itna uchal kyu raha hai rahege toh mere he beti.

The youngest chuckled on how both the friends we're fighting.

Nandini- mein toh dono ke bete hu. Emmm. ... aadhi dad ke aur aadhi papa ke. Problem solve.

She hugged both from either side. Both the fathers hugged her back and kissed her temples from either side. The moment was captured by Mukti who mumbled a "perfect".

Neyonika- aap dono bs kijea aur chalea rooms mein soone vrna kl thakavt se tabiyat kharab hojaege.

The elders left and younger clan looked at each other.

Cabir- okk guys enough of this staring. Let's get changed and meet at the pool side what's say??

Everyone nodded and went to their respective rooms to change.

Hey guys!!! How are you  all.  Here we go with the next part.

So finally the roka is over. Manan are officially couple now.
It was a small function so wrapped it a  single chapter. Did not mention about dance and other stuff much or it would have extened a lot. But the rest of the marriage functions will be blast.

What are the youngers gonna do now???

Why about Manik's gift to Nandini or vice-verse???
