They all we're enjoying their dinner with Cabir feeding Navya bearing her tantraums. Mukbhi and Dhrulya romancing and Manik teasing Nandini. They we're done with the dinner so they thought of having ice cream.

Before they could order nandini spoke

Nandini- guys hmlog bahr se ice cream khae. I mean road side kulfi. Believe me you will love it.

All the boys- no we won't let you eat unhealthy.

Manik- pta nae kese bnaya hoga voh. 

Abhimanyu- exactly. Don't know me they even wash their hands or not.

Dhruv- and god knows kese kese insects ghumte honge uske aas pass.

Cabir- sorry girls but we won't allow you to eat from road side.

Navya- what do you mean Cabir??? Humme tumse ab kulfi ke lia bhe permission lene pdege. Hum toh khaenge aur hmara baby bhe khaega.

Cabir- hdd hai yrr vese... kuch acha socho toh bhe.... forget it...

Alya- why are you acting so stubborn Dhruv?? Are you trying to stop me??

Dhruv- baby try to understand na?? ?

Mukti- Dhruv keep your 'understanding' with you. Humme khane hai mtlb khani hai.

Abhimanyu- Mukti ek baar mey mna krdiya na...

Mukti- kyu Abhi ek kulfi kuch nae bigarti...

Manik- enough is enough. Koe nae jaega means koe nae jaega. Am I clear (he spoke in a stern voice).

All this while Nandini was silent. She was thinking about the blunder she did. She thought they all we're fighting because of her. This was the reason she kept away from all. All her insecurities and negative thoughts which she was trying to shoo away we're again overcoming her state of mind. Finally she spoke.

Nandini- guys please don't fight. I'm sorry that I gave such a stupid  suggestions (she said looking at all the boys). Girls let's do as they say. I think yeh log sahi kehrae hai. 

Alya- it's not about wrong or right Nandini... They have better ways to explain. They just can't come and order ke you won't means you won't.

Mukti- exactly. And seriously Mr. Thakkar you are a doctor and you know ke ek kulfi won't harm. Hum mey se koe bhe itna sensitive nae hai ke after  eating one ice cream from road side we will fall sick.

Manik- Mukti (he spoke controlling his anger) enough is enough. You are not allowed to shout. Voice down.

Cabir- exactly tum log ke phaiday ke lia we are saying.

Navya- kyu Manik tum chahe chikho chillao kuch bhe kro. Tum log pe koe rook nae aur agar hum bole toh enough. Cabir we did not ask for anything wrong. Aur aap sb log itne daave se kese keh skte ho ke vo achi nae hoge aur hr cheez mey healthy unhealthy nae dekha jata sometimes one should only think about taste.

Nandini- guys please shant hojao ese mt laro. It's all because of me. Na he mey ye h topic uthati aur na he tumsb arguememt krte. I'm sorry. (She was on verge of crying).

Navya- nandu iddr dekho hmari taraf (but she did not budge). Nandini hmne kaha hmare taraf dekho (she spoke a bit loud. They all we're surprised Navya talking loudly and sternly. Nandini turned towards her as she only calls her by her full name when she is beyond angry on her). Sunno hmare baat. Apne thoughts aage rakhne mey burae nae hai. Kya tum jaanti thi ke tumhare is baat bolne se hmlog mey behes hojaege?? Nae na... toh!!! Stop blaming yourself. Samjhi???(She nodded like a child). Hmm... good. Aur rahi baat kulfi ke toh vo hmlog khake he rahenge kyu girls??

Girls- yess.

Manik- fine then. Khao. But remember my words "anyone I bet you any damn one if by mistake too catch cold or fever or got sick in future, you will have to face my wrath. Everyone means everyone. I won't spare any one of you".(Though the girls we're scared but still they nodded gathering some confidence). Fine then chalo .

They paid the bill and left the place. The ride was unusual silent. They spotted a kulfi vala and girls relished it's taste. Though the boys we're happy seeing their girls expressions and we're laughing internally, they all maintained a straight face.

They went back home and saw all the elders waiting for them sitting in the hall and chating. All the boys and girls turned their faces seeing each other except for Nandini. Though Navya's word comforted her but still she was feeling low.

Neyonika- are bacho aagae tum sb.... So kesa raha..

Mukti- haa mom we enjoyed alot today. Bs last pe in boys ke vjah se saare mood ka raita horakha hai.

Abhimanyu- ooo hello!!! Ek toh tumlog ke zid maano uppr se baate bhe suno. Yeh sae hai yrr... mtlb bhalae ka koe zmana he nae hai.

Neyonika- are are... bacho shant hojao aur koe mujhe btae ke yeh dono kya baat krrae hai.

Nandini- neyoma mey btati hu. Co actually after dinner.... (and she told whatever happened in the restraunt).

Ram- are bhai tum logo ne ek kulfi ke puche mere bacheo ko itna parehan kiya...

Anurag- aur nae toh kya.... Manik ek kulfi nuksaan nae krte beta. Mey manta hu tumlogo care krte ho insb sbke pr beta itna zulm krna bhe acha nae hai.

They all laughed at his choice of words and the boys made bad face.

Manik- but mom.. ...

Neyonika- no ifs n buts... chalo ask for sorry from your respective partners and off to bed. Acha pehle yeh btao ke kl ka koe plan hai tumsb ka ya ghr pe rehna hai.

Alya- hai na aunty. Kl hmara 1night 2days na hiking and tracking ka plan hai.

Navya- pr hmnae jaarae.  Hum aaj bohot thak gae hai.

Neyonika- chalo then off to bed. Mey sbke lia dudh bhijvati hu.

Abhimanyu- good night guys. Aur haa kl time pr uthjana sbhi.  We'll be leaving by 8 or 9 to the max.

They all exchanged good night wishes and left for their respective rooms with the boys asking for forgiveness from their girls.
Manik first went to his room. Making sure everyone slept he went to nandini's room. He entered her room and saw her sitting near the window in deep thoughts. Sighing he went near her as he knew what must be going on in her mind. He kept his hand on her shoulder. She flinched due to sudden touch but relax seeing him. He then picked her up and went to the balcony. She gaped at his action but did not say anything. He then sat on the comforter spread and made her sit in his lap.

Manik- now speak up. What is troubling you.

Nandini- nothing is troubling me Manik.  You should sleep. Aren't you tired.

Manik- aren't you tired???? (She looked down.  He then gently put his finger under her chin and made her look at him). Kitten.. You know you can share right... and I won't be judging you so open up baby girl.

Nandini- aaj mere vjah se sbhi ld paare na Manik.  Everything was going so well and I spoiled everything.

She hid herself in his chest sobbing slightly. It has always been a safest place for her to hide herself from the world. Though it has only been a week that came to talking terms so openly still she felt an unknown warmth from him. The warmth which she missed after her ishima left. Manik was stroking her hair. Sighing he spoke.

Manik- that means tumpe Navya ke baat ka koe asar nae hua haina.. Kitten you can't blame yourself for anything and everything happening around you and that was just a normal bickering. To be honest that is the way these girls always convince us for the things we say a no and for the things they are adamant to have. (She looked up at him. He nodded and kissed her forehead). Do you know why do i call you kitten?? (She nodded her head in a no. He smiled at her and then said) you know you are so innocent, so calm and also naive. Kese kitten nae hote sehme se dre dre se... tum bhe bilkul vese he ho. My kitten  (and he again smiled brightly at her). They need direction 'Cz they are new to this world. Aur mere kitten na has lost her path. Bs thoda sa off track hogae hai. Pr no worries why fear when Manik Malhotra is here hmm... Abhi hske dekhao  (She smiled a little). Are yeh valle nae vo bari vli.(And she finally smiles while heartedly). That's like a good girl chalo let's sleep.

Saying this he pecked her lips lightly and stood up taking her in his arms. She again hid herself in his chest to hide her blush. He made her lie on the bed and covered her properly with the duvet.

Nandini- Manik please sleep beside me.

Manik- pr nandini you ...

Nandini- I trust you Manik. I know  you will never harm even if you are in your dream. (He smiled and lay beside her in sitting position). After that incident na Manik this is the first time in trusting some one after Abhi and you know what my inner conscience says I'll never regret it.

He kissed her head and started humming a song.

What are you doing to me kitten. I'm falling for you badly. Tumhare bebasi se bhara yeh chehra, uspr jhalakti yeh innocence. Mere pass reason nae hai tumhe jtane ke lia. Din-b-din you are coming so close to me. Shayd tumhe khud ko bhe andaza nae hai. The Manik Malhotra jo larkiyo ke taraf dekhta bhe nae is falling for this little Angel. You are such a pure soul nandini and i now I know what is to be done next. Finally I can say yess kitten "I LOVE YOU ".  Kb kese pta nae pr i definitely know that I love you.

Soon sleep took over him too.
