Neyonika- chalite Anurag. Raat kafi hogayi hai. Hume bhe chalna chahiye. You go ahead , let me check in the kitchen. I think Mukti is still there.

Anurag nodded and left while Neyonika went to the kitchen. She entered the kitchen and saw Mukti giving instructions.

Neyonika- muku bache tu Abhi bhe yahi hai. Go to your room and sleep. It's late beta, go.

Mukti- haan mom. It's almost done. Just a minute,let me give this to all then I'll also sleep. By the way what are you doing here aren't you tired??

Neyonika smiled and caressed her head spoke

Neyonika- bohot Bari hogae hai na tu. Meri fikar mt kr aur jaa sooja, mein yeh dekh lungi. Aur soone se pehle I need to check on Nandu too.

Mukti nodded and left wishing her night. Neyonika then asked the servant to give the milk to everyone. She took Nandini's glass and went to her room.
She knocked her room's door and entered to see Nandini sitting on the bed scrolling through her phone.

Nandini- are Neyoma aap. Aaeye na. You don't need to knock(in return Neyonika just smiled and walked in. She kept the glass on the side table and sat on the bed.

Nandini kept her head in her lap and she started to ruffle her hair slowly.

Neyonika- Nandu, kuch kehna hai?? kuch share krna chahti hai apni Neyoma se??? Bol beta, I know their is a lot going on in your mind . You can share it with me.

In return Nandini just hug her waist tight and tugged her head in her stomach more.

Nandini - Neyoma , mein kya bolu. Mujhe kuch samaj mein nahi aaraha.... Aaj se teen saal pehle dad ne mudkar ek baar bhe nai dekha India ki taraf, meri taraf. Sirf occassions pe aana, yàa jab kaam ho tbhi aate thay. Aaj all of a sudden teen saal ke baad he called me princess . I was really shocked Neyoma . Mujhe laga shayad he is guilty about whatever happened and he wants to move on but see....  irony haina(chuckles a litle).
I should have known that he wants to get rid of me. He left me here to survive and deal alone with the circumstances all alone when he knew how much I needed him. He knew I needed him the most at that time. How could he mom....how could he and then bhai he also did the same(by now she was badly in tears). Kyu Neyoma (sobs)kyu .......

Neyonika let her cry. She wanted her to let it out whatever she had held inside her.

Neyonika- bs Nandu.... Ese ne rote beta.... Teri ishima kya sochegi. Usse kya lagega ki vo kya tujhe itna bhe strong nai bana pai ki tu ese situations ko deal he na karpaye hmmm.... Bol.... bata mujhe.... (Nandini looked up). Tu apni ishima ke strong bachi hai na aur rahi baat Ram aur Karan ki toh mein chahungi ki tumlog aapas mein yeh baat ko niptao. Mein iske beech mein nai pdna chahti.

Nandini- (wiping her tears) haa Neyoma mein strong hu. Aur ab mein roungi bhe nai.

Neyonika- good girl. Yeh hui na mere achi bache vaale baat. Chal uth aur doodh finish kr and no nakhraas.
(She made a bad face hearing 'doodh' ). Chal chal jldi se pee tb tk mein Manik Ko phn krke puch lu. Subha se Pune gaya hua hai, naa jaane ghar pohoncha yàa nai abhi tk.(she dialled his no. But her phone was showing signal problems). Nandu kya krr rahi hai bete. Usse ese dekhne se vo drke gayab nai hone vala, chal finish kr jldi se(saying this she pushed the glass to her mouth and made her drink). Chlo.... chlo... chlo....good girl.

Nandini made a chiii face and said

Nandini- chii Neyoma kitna ganda tha yeh. U know na I hate milk phir bhe you gave it to me....

Neyonika chuckles hearing this and cleans her face with the end of her sari pallu. This action of Neyonika made her grin widely.

Neyonika- acha ab yeh sb chod aur ye dekh na .... Naa jaane mere mobile se call kyu nae horahi....

Nandini- are Neyoma vo yahan pe kabhi kabaar network ka problem ho jata hai. Ruko mein krke dekhti hu.

[Guys Nandini is known to all of them past one year. They all had once visited Bangalore except for Cabir and Nayva as they we're on their honeymoon. Nandini knows about Cabir and Nayva but she is not sure that Navya is her childhood best friend as she lost her contact with her when she left Delhi after Ishita's death].

Nandini dials Manik's number and he picks up a while later.

Nandini- hello!!!! Ehh hii!!! Manik..... Yeah... How are you.... Ohh that's good.... Hm I'm good too.... Vo... Haa Neyoma wanted to talk to you actually her phone was facing some issues.... Yeah.... Wait...

She handed over the phone to Neyonika.

Neyonika- hello!!! Haa Manik..... Haa all is well here
... Ha.... Acha bata tu ghar pohonch gya...... Acha thiik hai...... Dinner kiya???...... Chal thiik hai ..... Apna dyaan rakhna aur haan drive safe okk..... Chlo bye.... Take care beta see you soon... (she ended the call and looking  at nandini spoke)Are Nandu vo toh Pune mein he stay krraha hai. Kehra tha thak gya hai aaj....

Nandini- ohh okk.... Neyoma please aaj mujhe sulao na mujhe bohot neend aarahi hai....

Neyonika-  aaja.

Nandini lays down and Neyonika covers her with the duvet and starts singing patting her head)

She remembered the time when Nandini was small. She remembered the first time when she held her in her arms and Nandini held her finger tight. May be she was not her daughter by blood but she had always been her first daughter. She remembered Nandini's cute antics, when she used to call her Neyoma , when she used to complain her about Ishita the time when she used to visit them. She had always treated Nandini as her own daughter or may be more than that. She remembered how broken Nandini was after Ishita's death. All these thoughts brought tears in her eyes. She wiped it off before they could call. She kept caressing her hair till she fell asleep.

Neyonika's POV
Meri bachi ke sath itna bura kyu bhagavan , kyu aap uski Pariksha le rahe hai.... Kya mein nai janti ke vo kyu shaadi ke baat se pareshaan hai.... Jo uske sath hua uske baad vo kese kisi pe bhe trust krle.... Pr mein apni bache ko is halat mein aur nahi dekh skti. I promised Ishu to protect her daughter and love her the way I love Manik, Ranveer and Mukti. Mein apni bachi ki vahi purani innocence vapas laakr rahunge, I promise Ishu , teri Nandu phir se vese he hojaegi jese pehle thi....

Thinking all this she kissed her forehead and covered her properly with the duvet. She switched off the light and left the room glancing at her.
