Manan entered the mansion laughing on something. The elders we're sitting in the living room including Cabir's parents and Abhimanyu's parents while the younger clan was in the patio enjoying. Manan greeted the elders and not finding the younger clan Manik asked

Manik- mom baaki sb kaha hai???

Nandini- haa koe nazar nae aaraha....

Neyonika- beta Alya, Mukti kitchen mein hai preparing snacks aur baaki bache toh patio mein hai.

Manik- okk....

He then moved to Neyonika and sat in between her legs on the floor. He put her hands on his hair indicating her to massage his head.

Nandini- mein Alya, Mukti ko dekhti hu.

Saying this she left. She entered the kitchen and saw both the girls talking and cooking. She greeted them and then joined them. The girls took the snacks and went out. On the way Mukti saw Manik sitting with the elders. She came to him started pulling him

Mukti- bhai chalo na sb patio mein bethe hai aap sb bado ke bich mein kya krrae ho chalo na (while Manik just hmmed in reponse. Getting irritated she again pulled him) bhai chalo na. Mere se khicha bhe nae jaara kitna heavy ho aap.

Mukti was busy pulling him but he did not budge. He was enjoying this session when Neyonika saw him smiling secretly. She slapped his shoulder and spoke

Neyonika- jaa chala ja. Kyu usse pareshaan krra hai. Chehra dekh uska.

He opened his eyes and saw Mukti's irritated face. He chuckled and got up. He put his hand around her shoulder and both bro-sis went where the others we're sitting. Mukti settled herself beside Nandini which was the last seat left. Manik looked here and there to find a seat for himself. Finding no place he sat on the floor and kept his head in Nandini's lap. The others hooted on his act. Nandini blushed while Manik ignored them all.

Ranveer- bhai thodi toh sharam kro. Dekho bhabi kese sharma rae hai.

Manik- tune kbhi sirrr rakh kar nae dekha na islia bol raha hai. Ek baar head massage leke toh dekh.

Cabir- ooe hoe Manik baba... tuune kb lee 'head massage'.

He stretched the word head massage.

Manik- tujhse mtlb???

Cabir- haa bhai ab humse kyu mtlb hone lga. Ab toh sb mtlb Nandini se hoga na tujhe.

Alya- awww guys!!! Bs kro. Look at her face kitna red hogya hai.

Ranveer- ooe... don't tease my bhabi.

He side hugged her. They all we're talking on random topics when a butler came and informed them that the pandit was here and the elders had called all of them inside. Everyone moved inside and settled themselves on the couches.

Panditji- beta sgae ke lia dushhere se agle din ka muhrat shubh hai aur shaadi ke lia 2 shubh muhrat hai. Ek teen mahine baad January 17 ka aur ek 6 mahine baad April 10 ka.

Cabir's mom- pandit ji humare beti ke godhbharae ke lia bhe shubh muhrat bta dijea.

Panditji- ji godhbharae bhe sagae vaale din krskte hai aap. Veh din shubh hai iss karyh ke lia...

Anurag- dhanyavaad panditji.

After blessing everyone the pandit left.

Alya- wow... this is so exciting. Godbharae aur Engagement ek he din... I'm damn excited.....

She jumped in  her seat and hi-fied with Mukti.

Mukti- pr shaadi ke 2 dates hai na final konsi hai???

Navya- please. .. please... Manik nandu April,10 ke krlo na tb tk hmara baby bhe aajaega aur hum enjoy bhe kr paenge..... please... pretty please.....

Manik and Nandini looked at each other and then at Navya.

Manik- jesa mere behen chahe(he smiled).

Navya- thank you...... thank you...... thank you.... thank you so much.

Cabir- madhubala uchalna bnd kro. Apni halat dekho pehle...

She muttered a sorry and then the ladies got busy in talking about the dresses, gifts and other stuff.

Anurag- chalo bhai humlog garden mein chalte hai. Yaha toh yeh sb auratae apne he baato mein lggae.

Neyonika heard it and passed him a glare

Neyonika- kuch kaha aapne Anurag???

Anurag- arre biwi mein toh bs yeh kehraha tha ke tumlog shayd kuch kaam ke baat krrae ho toh humsb gents garden mein chale jaate hai.

Neyonika- sunna meine... aapne jo bola. Chodea aap ko baad mein dekhunge. Bethea sb. Itna kaam hai. 2 functions ke teyaari krne hai aur aap sb befikre hokr chaldea.....

Anurag sat there mumering something under his breathe.

Cabir- uncle aap aunty se itna drte ho (he whispered in Anurag's ear. As all of them we're sitting together  the other men could also hear them ).

Anurag- haa jese tu apni vaali se nae drta.

Cabir- arre mein nae drta Navya se. Bohot brave hu mein.

Anurag- acha toh mein usse tere Secretary ke baare mein bta du jisse tu flirt krta hai.

Cabir's expressions we're worth watching. He nervously smiled at Anurag who was smirking at him (perks of being a Malhotra).

Cabir- kya uncle aap toh serious hogae mein toh mzaak krraha tha.

Their talks we're disturbed by Neyonika

Neyonika- aapsb kya khusrpusr krrae hai...

Ranveer- vo mom... dad Cabir bhai...

Before he could complete Cabir palmed his mouth and glared at him.

Navya- kya hua Ranveer ruk kyu gae??? Cabir kya....

Dhruv- leave it Navya. You know na Cabir ke pranks. Yeh dono toh pagl hai.

Neyonika- yaha itna kaam hai aap logo ko hassi- mzaak se fursat nae hai..

Manik- mom relax okk... don't stress yourself. Sb hojaega aap tension mt lo.

Ranveer- haa mumma hm sb manage krlenge aap bs bethe ke order do.

Neyonika- Veer tension kese na lu. Mere teeno bacho ke lia itna important din hai, kitne kaam baaki hai.

Nandini- pr Navya ke godbharae kaha pe hoge. I mean Cabir ke ghar yaa yaha pe...

Cabir's mom- beta godhbharae toh maike mein hote hai....

(Well!!!! I seriously don't know anything about this ritual so manage with this)

Manik- toh phir final hai yhi Malhotra Mansion mein hoge.

Nandini- kyu..... Murty Mansion mein hoge.

Manik- Nandini meine kaha na Malhotra Mansion mein hoge.

Nandini- aapke kehne se kya hota hai.

Manik- Nandini don't argue with me.

Nandini- mein bhe stubborn hu. Godhbharae Murty Mansion mein he hoge.

Manik- no

Nandini- yess

Manik- no

Nandini- yes

Manik- no

Nandini- yes

Manik- yes

Nandini- no

Manik- finally you said a no so Godhbharae ka function Malhotra Mansion mein he hoga.

Nandini- Manik you are such a monster. Don't talk to me.

She stomped her foot and turned to the other side. He nose we're red in anger and she was looking way too adorable while he grinned as he had won a battle.

Harsh- bs bhe karo bacho.

Nandini looked down in embarrassment. She was arguing with Manik in front of everyone not caring about the surroundings.

Later they started planning about the events. Cabir and Ranveer took the catering counter while Abhimanyu and Dhruv decided to look to the decorations and events resort. Ram, Anurag, Cabir's father and Abhimanyu's father we're looking at the guests. Alya and Mukti decided to select the dresses for everyone. Neyonika, Cabir's mom and Abhimanyu's mom we're looking at the gifts section. Only Manan and Navya we're left.

Manik- ek minute... ek minute.. aap ne kaam bant lia mein toh rehgya. What will i do???

Abhimanyu's mom- beta tu nandu jaake rings select krlena. Aur nandu isse pehle ke tu puche.... tu aur navya aaram krrae ho. Agar tujhe kaam krna hai toh navya ke dekh-bhaal krlena. Same goes to you too Navyaa Smjhi???

Nandini- okk bhua...

She pouted sadly.

Harsh- arre bhai tum dono ke shaadi hone vaali hai ek dusre ko jaano pehchano, ghumo phiro. Yhi toh time hota hai phir shaadi ke baad toh reponsibilities badh jaenge. Navya ka khayal toh hum sb rakhlenge kyu .....

Anurag- sahi kaha aapne dad.

Ram- chalo phir deeri kis baat ke. Shuru krte hai kaam...

Abhimanyu's mom- sahi kaha aapne bhai sirf chaar din hai humare pass.

Nandini's phone rang so she went out to talk. The others got busy with their work. Ranveer and Cabir went to Ranveer's room for their discussion. Abhimanyu and Dhruv too went to the event management's office to finalise the things. The ladies sat in the living room and started with their work while the men went to the study. Manik also sat with the ladies and got busy with his phone. Meanwhile, Nandini came back and not finding everyone she asked

Nandini- baaki sb kaha gae???

Cabir's mom- beta sb teyariyo mein lge hai. Kuch kaam tha kya??

Nandini- nae aunty mein ese he puch rae thi. Ehhh... mujhe hospital se call aaya tha vo emergency hai report krna pdega.

Neyonika- pr tune toh abhi join kiya hai....

Nandini- neyoma I'm a senior doctor toh jaana pdega. Please don't worry mein vaha se sidha Murty Mansion chali jaunge. Naajane kitna time lge pta nae.

Neyonika- tuune lunch kiya tha na???

She nervously looked at Manik who was looking at her. She requested him to do something or she'll be dead in Neyonika's hand.  But he shrugged and again got busy with his phone.

Nandini- h...haa... haa... kiya... tha... meine lunch.... kiya tha??...haa haa..

Neyonika- jb jhut bolna sikhjaena toh bolna shuru krna smjhi....
kya kru mein tera.....

Nandini- kuch nae bs pyaar kro.(Saying this she kissed her cheek and ran to Mukti's room) mein change krke aae(she shouted on her way).

Neyonika- bachi hai poori....

The trio chuckled on her comment. Soon Nandini came down. Neyonika handed her a foil wrap which had two pranthas.

Neyonika- agar khatam nae hua na toh mujhse bura koe nae hoga. Chal jaa abhi.

Manik- wait I'll drop you.

Nandini- nae I'll manage....

Manik- shut up and come along. Pucha nae hai mene.

He spoke sternly and left.

Nandini- monster....jb dekho gussa krta rehta hai mujhpe.

She mumbled under her breathe and followed him. She came out and sat in the car. She then placed the foil wrap on the dashboard and started looking outside.

Manik- yeh sjane ke lia nae khane ke lia diya tha (he spoke sarcastically).

Nandini- haa pr mera mnn nae hai. Meine apartment mein sandwich khaya tha na.

Manik- dekha tha meine kitna khaya tha. Now eat it.

Nandini- Manik please na I'm not hungry.

He glared at her and quietly took the wrap and started taking small bites. He sighed and took the wrap from her hand. He pulled the parantha out of the wrap and gestured her to take a bite. He with one hand was handling the staring wheel with the other he was feeding her. Seeing her taking small small bites he angrily spoke

Manik- baari bites loo. Don't eat like a 2 year old kid. I won't let you go untill you finish it smjhi.

She made an angry pout and mumbled 'monster kahi ka'..

Manik- tumhare lia monster bnna pdta hai. Khao abhi.

She snapped her head at him. She saw her shocked face and spoke

Manik- don't look at me like this. Sunna meine..

Bearing all her tantrums he feed her one parantha. He was going to feed her the second one but to her luck they reached hospital. She grinned looking outside.

Nandini- Manik hospital aagya. Mein jaarae hu. Bye.

Manik- acha sunno call me when you get free. I'll come and pick you up. Mein pass mein he hu. I have some work around so giveme a call I'll come.

She nodded and ran inside. Almost after 3 hours Nandini came out of the OT successfull in her work. She went to her cabin and sat on her chair. She huffed and took the glass of water and gulped it in a go. She then rested her head on the chair for a while and unknowingly dozed off. A book from the shelf fell down which broke her sleep. She got up with a jerk. She then looked at the watch and immediately called Manik and told him that she was free now. In no time Manik came and both left. All of sudden Nandini remembered something and her calm face again turned to angry one. She started avoiding  him and looked out of the window. He glanced at her and frowned seeing her grumpy face. He poked her shoulder but she ignored him. He stopped on the traffic light and turned towards her. He again poked her shoulder. Finally not able to take more she turned to him

Nandini- kya hai Manik.. Don't irritate me.

Manik- why are you so grumpy???

Nandini- aapse mtlb... I'm not talking to you.

Manik- ooo so someone is angry hmmm... pr kyu???

She smiled tightly at him and spoke

Nandini- says the person who is the reason behind it.... huh ...

Manik- arre meine kya kiya??? Wait!!! Kahi tum shaam vaali baat pe gussa toh nae ho. Common yrr Nandini.... Navya ka function kahi pe bhe ho kya farak pdta hai. The thing is she should enjoy haina...

She angrily looked at him and again turned to the window. The lighy turned green and sighing Manik started the car and drove to the some place. Nandini saw that he had parked the car outside some dhaba.

Nandini- mujhe bhook nae hai. Ghar jaana hai mujhe.

Manik- time dekha hai... mujhe bhook nae hai (he mimicked her). Raat ke 10 bj rae hai. Uthro abhi. Malhotra Mansion mein jaane nae vaala aur ghr pe kuch hoga nae. Tum jis tarah muh phulae bethi ho I don't think you will offer me something at your home so utro. Mujhe bhook lgi hai.

She passed him an angry look and got down from the car. They sat on one of the 'cot'. Manik ordered food for two people. She was shooting daggers at him. He looked at him and asked

Manik- what???? Why are you giving me those looks...

Nandini- i told you I'm not hungry. Why did you order for me???

Manik- 'cz you need to eat. Ohhh eat se yaad aaya... why did you skip your lunch??? Tell me the truth i won't take any of your excuses.

Nandini- I'll not answer you. I'm not talking to you.

Manik- seriously!!!! I should be the one to get angry.... huh.... great... just great.... mind my words Nandini Murty if by change i got to know that you fall sick I'll not spare you.

Nandini- mein aapse nae drti. You can't threaten me... (though she was scared, still she managed to speak).

Manik- you know what.... i can. My first priority is your health. Agar tumhe gussa aata hai toh aae... agar irritate hote ho toh hote raho i give a damn to your anger. I want you fit and heathly that's it. From now on I'll make sure you eat properly(he spoke sternly). You are not gonna skip any of your meals. You'll face time me when you eat. Am i clear???.

Nandini could not say a word hearing his authoritative voice. She nodded her head in a yes and looked down. His intensity of voice said how angry he was on her. Her eyes welled up but she managed to blink away those tears. Manik noticed it but did not speak. He did not want her to fall ill. He had been noticing her eating habits lately which we're literally making him tensed. Though he felt bad for making her cry but he kept num for the time being. They had their dinner in silence. Manik after paying the bill drove to the next destination.
