Karan took Nandini's food to her room. He fed her bearing all her tantrums. Later he made her lay down and left kissing her forehead. After sometime Ram too came to her room to check on her. It was almost her medicine time so with lots of requesting and pampering, bearing all her tantrums he made her eat her medicine. They share some father-daughter moments,talking about old times, remembering how they used to talk and have fun. Ram apologized again but she only said she forgave them as she was never angry on neither her brother nor him. She was just hurt and needed someone to console her, to ensure her that they we're there with her no matter what. She also asked him not to talk about last again. She wanted to move on and start a fresh. Their father-daughter conversation was heard by Manik who was passing by. He was happy and had a wide smile hearing her. Ram finally bid bye to her asking her to rest for a while. He exited the room and saw Manik standing there smiling and lost in his world. He patted his back and asked him to go in. Manik smiled and nodded and Ram left from there. Manik entered her room and saw her sitting in the bed looking nowhere in particular. He sat in front of her and clicked his fingers in front of her eyes bringing her back from her lost land.

Nandini- finally someone got time for me. Nae to saara din bs apne mein he busy thay.

Manik- oooo so someone is complaining.

Nandini- haa kuch esa hi. Mujhe baat nae krne aapse. Jaea aap apna kaam smbhalea. Who cares for me....

She folded her hands on her chest and turned the other side. Manik was smiling at her acts.

Manik- areee baapre yeh toh bohot baari problem hogae. Itna gussa. .....

She did nothing but nodded her head in a yes. He got up and in a swift picked her up in his arms and took her to the balcony. He sat and made her sit in his lap and then covered both of them properly with the blanket kept in balcony. He then made her at him and pecked her nose and spoke

Manik- soo my kitten is angry hmm???

She like a child snuggled more into him and started playing with his pendent which he bought for both of them.
(Remember in the previous chapter he gifted her a pendant. He had bought two, one for himself and other one for her).

Nandini- hmmm....

Manik- acha toh phir isse kaam chaljaega??

He showed her her favourite Bourvilla Chocolate. She snached it from him and started eating. Throughout her eating Manik was admiring the child in her. "It's rightly said that we behave like a child in front of our loved ones". For Manik ,he was aware of his love and for Nandini, her love was blomming which she herself was not aware of'. She finished the whole chocolate and looked at him grinning widely. He chuckled seeing her. He then wiped her hands with his handkerchief.

Manik- bachi ho tum ek dum. Do you know that??

In return she just hugged him tight. He smiled at her and tightened his hold on her. They both stayed in the position for sometime. Neyonika's voice bought themback from their land who called them for dinner.

Manik- chale mom is calling for dinner.

Nandini- nae.... yaha pe(she referred to his arms) bs ese he rehna hai humesha ke lia. This is the most safest place for me. Manik you na... you are very special to me bohot zada. Itna ke mein bta nae skti. You are eveything to me.

Manik- may be you are falling for me....

Nandini- agar esa hai toh phir I'm loving it.

He pecked her lips hearing her. She blushed and hid her face in his chest.

Nandini- aap kuch dino mein chale jaenge na... mein phir se akele hojaunge.

Manik- areee... akele thodi rehne dunga mein apni jaan ko hmm.... tumhare bhai aur tumhare papa ko chodke jaaraha hu yaha pe. Aur bohot jldi vapis aaunga tumhe hmesha ke lia lejaane I promise. Abhi ek pyaari se smile dedo yrr kitne deer se dekhi nae hai...

In return she smiles brightly. He kissed her cheek tightly and gots up taking her in his arms. He then made her sit on the bathroom slab and spoke

Manik- freshenup... I'm waiting outside.

She came out and saw him busy in his phone. "Yeh phone toh pkka mere sootn hone vaala hai huh... jb dekho isi ke sath lge rehte hai"she mumbled to herself. She patted his shoulder to gain his attention. He shut his phone and stood up. Nandini climbed the bed and stood behind him and jumped on his back. He in a reflex caught hold of her.

Manik- kitten bta toh dete you want a piggy back ride. Abhi gir jaate baba...

Nandini- abhi pta chl gya na... ab chalo. ...

He nodded his head in disbelief . They went to the dinning area and everyone smiled at them. He made her sit at her place and then sat beside her. But she got up and went to the kitchen to help Neyonika. The dinner went in peace with usual talks, teasings and laughs and also Manik feeding Nandini who was busy playing with her food. The others we're smiling looking at them. Post dinner everyone left for their rooms to pack their bags as they had to leave for Mumbai the next evening.

Next moring
As usual Nandini woke up and saw Manik sleeping beside her. She woke him up and asked his to go to his room and sleep. She then freshen up and went down. She lit the diya in madir and entered the kitchen to see Neyonika working there. She back hugged and wished her morning. Both mother and daughter spent quality time together preparing breakfast.

They called everyone for breakfast. Everyone was eating when Ram spoke

Ram- nandu mein chahta hu ke humlog bhe Mumbai shift hojae. Mein ek naee shuruat krna chahta hu. Tere nae zindgi shuru hone jaarae hai beta aur mein chahta hu ke tum isski shuruat apne past se door ek naey seeray se kro.

She looked at Karan who smilingly nodded his head and then at Manik who assured her through his eyes. She happily nodded.

Ram- toh phir breakfast ke baad apna saaman pack krlena. Hum sb ke sath aaj he apne naey ghr jaaenge. Tyohar bhe shuru hochuke hai isse acha time konsa hoskta hai.

Karan- mein aaj shaam ko he US jaraha hu. Vaha sb kaam nipta kr humesha ke lia aajaunga. Company ke kuch formalities poori krne hai taaki humlog India shift kr ske.

Nandini- pr hospital???

Abhimanyu- uske phikr tu mt kr. Mein apni aur tere dono ke shift Mumbai krvaa leta hu. Kuch din ke he baat hai phir mein bhe Mumbai vaapis aajaunga.

She nodded and post breakfast everyone left to their rooms as they had to leave in the evening. Nandini enters Manik's room and saw him stuffing his things in his bag. She stood at the entrance and was admiring him getting irritated folding his clothes which he was not able to. He huffed and threw them in his bag. Nandini could not take it more and laughed out aloud. Manik looks for the source of noise and saw her standing there laughing. He looked at her with a confused expression. Neyonika too enters from behind.

Neyonika- areee nandu tu zaha???

Nandini- haa neyoma mein bs ek baar hospital jana chahti thi socha ek last baar apne bacho se mil aao. Pr yaha aake dekha toh The Manik Malhotra se apna bag he pack nae hota.

Both Neyonika and Nandini started laughing their lungs out. Manik was looking at them with an irritated look on his face. After like eternity to him both the ladies stopped laughing.

Manik- hogya aap dono ka yaa kuch aur baaki hai??? (He asked smiling tightly with his lips pressed together)

Neyonika- lgta hai volcano phatne vaala hai. (She whispered to Nandini) Tu yaha dekh mein Mukti ko dekhti hu dono bhai behen ek jese he hai.

Both of them laugh again and Neyonika left the room.

Nandini- htea... let me do it.

She then completed packing his stuff. Manik was all the time looking at her with love and admiration in his eyes half laying on his elbow. She was aware of his gaze but did not had the guts to look at him. She finally ziped his bag and turned to him and spoke

Nandini- hogya!!! Abhi chale??? (He pulled her as a result she fell on him while he was lying totally on the bed). Wh...what. .. what are y... you..do i...doing Manik... koe aa... aajae..aajaega.

Manik- aanedo.. drta hu mein kya...(He spoke huskily) vese bohot hsi aarae thi na kitten (ha spoke tucking her hairlocks behind her ear) abhi hso ab kya hua???

She just lowered her gaze and nodded in a no. She was totally flushed and did not know what to do or say. He changed their position. Now Nandini was lying under Manik. He started nuzzling in her hair while she tightened her hold on his shoulders. He looked up and saw her eyes closed, cheeks flushed and breath uneven. He gently kissed her forehead then eyes then nose and then her cheeks. He bend down to her lips and slowly put his lips on her. They kissed for good few minutes. He broke the kiss panting heavily. He joined their foreheads and both we're controlling their breaths.

Mukti- bhai vo..... (she saw both of them and turned to the other side)shit.... meine kuch nae dekha.

Both manan got up with a jerk and straightened their clothes.

Nandini- mein... mein.. niche.. wait kr..krrae... hu aap.. aap....aajaeaga...

Saying this she ran from there. Mukti turned to Manik and spoke

Mukti- kya bhai room toh lock krlete. Imagine koe aur hota toh???

He pulled her ear and spoke

Manik- bohot bolne lgi hai na tu... mein btao room kisko lock krna chahia.

Mukti- acha na sorry... ab nae chidaunge promise... abhi kaan chodo na pain horaha hai.

He left her ear and then Mukti told him for the purpose she came. After sometime he went down and saw Nandini waiting foe him. Not to embarrass her more he did not budge her. They went to the hospital and spent quality time with the children. Nandini completed the formalities and both left to Murty Villa.

Back home everyone was ready to leave. They sat in their cars and left for airport. At the airport everyone recognised Fab5 and they we're surrounded by crowd all around. Manik called for security and after requesting for some privacy in a polite manner Fab5 with their families entered the airport. They checked in and boarded the flight back to Mumbai while Abhimanyu went back to his apartment and Karan left to US.

So finally the Bangalore chapter is over. From here on Scenes will shift to Mumbai.
