Manan landed in Barcelona late at night. Next day they went out to explore the new place.

They we're roaming around the streets of Las Ramblas when

Manik caught the whiff of waffles (gofres) being baked and being a big time foodie he spoke

Manik- muffin let's taste some waffles. I can smell some deliciously baked waffles around.

He acted like inhaling. Nandini chuckled and spoke

Nandini- foodie Malhotra...

And giggled. He gave her a look and spoke

Manik- as if you don't like waffles huh...

He turned his face to the other side making a poker face.

Nandini- acha chalo...

Manik- nae rehne do mera mood nae hai ab.

She pulled his face to her and kissed his cheek hard.

Nandini- ab thiik hai???

A smile threatened to appear on his face but he hid it still looking to the other side.

Nandini- ab agar aapko muh phulake bethna hai na toh mein India vapis chali jaungi. I know you're faking anger Mr. Malhotra.

He turned to her and spoke raising his one eyebrow

Manik- dhamki hai???

Nandini- esa he samajhlo...

She shrugged.

Manik- acha and how will you do that Mrs. Malhotra.

He pulled her by her waist.

Nandini- Manik we are in public, chodo mujhe.

She wiggled in his hold.

Manik- as if I care.

He shrugged.

Manik- you did not answer my question Mrs. Manik Malhotra???

He spoke with a teasing smiling.

Nandini- you don't underestimate your wife Mr.

Manik- acha!!!

Nandini- abhi jaake btao?? Phir mein kya sb ghr vaale he btaenge aapko.

She grinned and then giggled. He too laughed along and kissed her cheek.

"Adorable couple", someone hushed.

Manan looked around and saw a few people giving them adorable smiles. They smiled back and moved to the nearby open air restaurant.

Later they roamed around the place and saw some public statues and shows going.

Nandini- Manik see Galileo's statue. Vese aapko pta hai who was he...

Manik- don't act smart okk. Pta hai mujhe telegram bnaya tha isne.

Nandini laughed and spoke

Nandini- Manik he invented telescope. Uske statue mein bhe clearly dikhra hai.

He too smiled seeing her laughing carefree.

Manik- haa toh pta hai mujhe okk... Mein bs tumhe chance dera tha aur vo gram aur scope mein confusion hogya tha okk!!! Hso mt tum zada...

She laughed more and

Nandini- I wonder aap pass kese hote thay. ...

Manik- we used to divide the syllabus. Otherwise Dhruv padta tha and we used to copy.

She nodded her head in disbelief and he grinned.

They then saw the statue of white painter. Nandini went near it and suddenly it spoke 'hello young lady'. She jumped at her place and hugged Manik. Manik laughed seeing her afraid and hugged her back. They clicked pictures with him and seemed the man in white paint enjoyed with them too.

Next they saw Miró mosaic where some local people we're enjoying a public show.

They were moving around when Manik started singing

Nandini saw my pigeons and ran towards them and they all flew away.

She spread her arms moving around in a circle making him admire her more.

Manan we're at Sagrada Familia exploring the place. It is a dreamlike works of Antoni Gaudí.
His minor basilica is a project of incredible scale and ambition that is still only around three quarters complete more than a 140 years after Gaudí first became involved.
When its spires are finished it will be the tallest church building in the world, and hardly resembles any religious structure you'll have seen in your life.

She was standing leaning to a pillar seeing him when he sang.

They explored the old colonies of Jewish culture seeing their houses.

It was dawn when Manan came out of Montjuïc Castle.
It is an old military fortress, with roots dating back from 1640, built on top of Montjuïc hill in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It currently serves as a Barcelona municipal facility.

Manik was standing like a soldier statue which they saw inside the castle. She traced her finger on his forehead but he did not move. She then kissed his cheek. He smiled a little but stood still. She pecked his lips and ran knowing what was coming.

They both had enjoyed the market of Barcelona moving around and giggling like teenagers.

They both we're lying on the beack chairs enjoying the sun bath when Manik turned to her and sang. She smiled and blew him a flying kiss.

He acted like catching and played his hands on his heart and closed his eyes falling back on his chair and Nandini laughed seeing his drama

They we're walking on the sea shore hand on hand. It was evening and the sun was all ready to set down and let the stars spread their magic.

Manan we're watching the sunset and Manik had back hugged Nandini with his arms around her stomach. The cold water touching their feet and the birds returning to their nests.

Nandini- the world is so beautiful na Manik.... this sunset, this place and these birds everything is something different and beautiful gift of nature.

Manik smiled and kissed her temples.

Manil- nothing is more beautiful to me than my world.

She smiled and turned her head to his side and spoke

Nandini- what's so beautiful about your world.

Manik- well my world is a epitome of beauty and my wife is my world and no other world can be beautiful than my world.

She kissed his jaw and mumbled an 'I love you'.

Manik- chale??? Or we'll miss the show.

She nodded and both went to their hotel to change.

Palau de la Musica Catalana

This turn-of-the-century concert hall is yet another piece of Barcelona's UNESCO-listed heritage.It was built by Gaudí's contemporary, Lluís Domènech i Montaner for the Orfeó Català, a Barcelona choral society.

The hall is a sublime venue for opera, symphonies and folk music

Manan we're lying in each other's arms when Manik spoke

Manik- jaan are the clothes packed???

Nandini- why? ??

Manik- because we are leaving tomorrow.

Nandini- you never told me. Leaving where??? Back to India? ?

Manik- nope. A new place in Spain itself.

Nandini- really???

He nodded.

Manik- and it's a surprise baby girl so there's no fun of asking about the place.

She pouted and he pecked her pout.

Nandini- you know I love it when you call me with different names. It actually makes me feel so loved.
(Well I do too😜😜).

She hugged his close cuddling him. He pecked her hair and spoke

Manik- that's why I love calling you with different names.

Nandini- acha then let me pack our stuff if we are leaving tomorrow.

Manik- chill!!! We'll do it tomorrow itself.

She nodded and both slept absorbing each other's warmth.

Manan reached their next destination after a journey of 3hrs.

Nandini- Manik atleast now tell me where are we?? Ab toh we have checked in our hotel too.

Manik chuckled seeing her irritated and finally thought of revealing the place.

Manik- okk!! So we are in Valencia, one of the place famous for adventures.

Nandini- you can't be serious!!!

Manik- I am serious baby. According to your next bucket list, you wanted to go for an adventure with your love so here we are....

She ran to him and hugged him. He balanced himself and hugged his wife back laughing who was mummering a no. Of I love yous....

Manik- now change in something comfortable because we are going out.

Nandini- abhi???

Manik- toh aur kabhi madam??? Sirf 12 bje hai abhi... kya krna hai poora din???

She made a bold move and spoke

Nandini- what about playing something naughtly.

He yanked her close and spoke

Manik- someone's in a mode I see!!!

Nandini- any doubt???

Manik- emhm....

He nodded in a no.

Manik- what about we go out right now and play naughtly once we come back in the evening???

Nandini- not bad though....

She spoke bitting her lower lip looking in his eyes. Her eyes held that glint of naughtiness and love for him in them which made him fall head over heals for her again.

He released her lip and kissed her pouring all his love in it and she gave in with equal favour.
