Manik- yeh toh tumhe mujhe chidhane se pehle sochna chahea tha. What we're you saying?? Emmm.... haa!!! Manik you can't do it, aapse nae hoga (mimicking her). Ab bolo ab kyu drrae ho???

Nandini- bohot bari galti hogae ke meine The Manik Malhotra ko challenge krdiya, ab toh jaane dejea.

Manik- mood nae hai.

Nandini- Manik koe aajaega.

Manik- toh aane do....

Nandini- Manik koe kya sochega. Sb bahar bethe hai aur hum dono gayb hai.

Manik- tumne yeh tb socha tha jb mujhe kehrae thi you can't kiss me in my house. Ab toh kiss leke he jaunga.

She did not say anything just placed her lips on his. She took the charge and sucked his lower lip making him groan. They broke the kiss for the need of oxygen.

Manik- desperate much. I see!!!!

She blushed and hid her face in his chest.

Sadhna- Nandu.... nandu kaha hai beta.

Nandini widened her eyes and looked at Manik.

Nandini- meine bola tha na koe aajaega. Ab bhugto....

Manik- arre why are you blaming me??? Tumhe kisne kaha tha to challenge The Manik Malhotra and to hurt his ego...

Nandini slapped her head in annoyance. Her man was self-obsessed.

Nandini- such a self- obsessed person you are Manik....

Manik- acha???? Thank you so much Nandini, I wasn't aware of the fact.

She was about to fireback when Sadhna knocked the door of the stoor room.

Sadhna- Nandu.... Nandu tu andr hai beta???

Nandini looked at Manik with puppy eyed .

Manik- promise you'll do whatever I say???(She nodded). Okk then say you are here inside (her eyes widened in shock). Listen to me first. Say you are in and came here to find something but you forgot what....

Sadhna- Nandu....

Nandini- haa bua???

She asked openeing the door.

Sadhna- tu andr kya krrae thi???aur mein kbse aavaz lgarae hu...

Nandini- sorry bua vo mein yaha kuch lene aae thi pr yaad bhuul gya kya...

Sadhna- acha chl chod yeh sb aur chal sb intezaar krrae hai tera.

She nodded and followed Sadhna. They came out where the bonfire was set.

Neyonika- loo Nandu bhe aagae. Chalo bacho shuru kro pooja.

Ranveer- pr mom bhai kaha hai???

They looked around and found Manik coming towards them talking on phone.

Mukti- bhai kabhi toh kaam ko side pe rakha kro. ..

Manik- okk. I'll see to it tomorrow. No I'll be there by lunch time. Keep the file ready. Yes fix it.

He then looked at everyone and found them looking at him.

Manik- what???? Muku you we're saying something, I did not hear.

Anurag- tu kl bhe office jaega??

Neyonika- aap kisse samjha rae hai Anurag....

She mocked Manik.

Manik- come on mom prso se I'm taking leaves cz you said shopping krne hai shaadi ke and then we need to leave. Uske baad I'm cent percent sure aap mujhe office join nae krne dengi atleast for a month or two toh I'm just reducing dad's pressure.

Harsh- ab bs kro. Manik maa ha vo teri. Tameez se baat kr.

Manik went to Neyonika and held his ears.

Manik- I'm sorry please. Mein rude nae hona chahta tha pr aap bhe smjho na dad pareshaan hojaenge akele aur Veer bhe kae baar available nae hota. I'm sorry.

Neyonika- chl sorry ka bacha. Mujhe pta hai tu jb tension mein hota hai na toh nae sochta kya bolta hai aur kisi bolta hai.

She chuckled and he hugged him.

The ladies covered their heads with their duppata's and all the couples started the pooja followed by Ranveer and Dadu and other relatives and neighbours.

Later the younger clan was sitting in the living room with all the couples cuddling each other.

Ranveer- Cabir bhai aap colours laae na jo meine bola tha???

Cabir- haa aagae hai.

Dhruv- Navya don't forget your jalebi and gujiya.

Navya- aree tum phikr mt kro. Hum subha uthkr bnadenge.

Mukti- bhabi yeh toh aapki first holi hai aren't you excited???

Karan- Mukti vo kyu excited hogi. Tumlog kl isse dhundte rehjaoge pr yeh shaam se pehle kisi ko nae milegi.

Alya- why so???

Abhimanyu- because she hates holi.

Manik- seriously!!!! (He looked at her) I toh love holi. I mean holi ke colours. .... how can someone hate it.

Karan- yeh toh tikka bhe nae lgati....

Manik- mein bhe dekhta hu Ms. Murty tum kl kese nae khelti holi....

He smirked and Nandini looked at him suspiciously.

Next morning after pooja everyone went to mandir while Manik went to Malhotra Mansion as he had some work. Nandini had hid herself in her room. She was sitting in the balcony when her phone rang.

Conversation
Nandini- hello!!!

Person- choti bahu...

Nandini- ji kon???

Person- beta mein Malhotra Mansion se Shaam bol raha hu.

Nandini- ji kaka kahea kya hua???

Kaka- beta vo Manik baba... aap jldi aaea.

Nandini- Manik!!! Kya hua Manik ko kaka???

Kaka- beta aap jldi aajaea.

Saying this he cut the call.

Nandini- hello!!! Hello!!! Hello kaka....

Nandini's POV
Mujhe jldi Malhotra Mansion jana chahea. Najaane kya hua hoga... Pr agar yeh ek prank hua toh.... Nae nae Nandu, kaka kitne tensed lggae thay. Ek baar dekh aao. Colour lgega toh dekha jaega pr ek baar tasalli toh hogi. Haa yhi sahi rae ga.

Kaha- kehdiya meine Manik baba.

Manik- thank you kaka.

Kaka- beta Nandini bahu pareshan hojaengi binmtlb....

Manik- aap tension mt lejea kaka, I'll handel. Aap jaea aur enjoy kijea.

Kaka left from there and Manik smirked.

Manik's POV
Ab tum zrur aaogi Ms. Murty aur holi toh mein tunhare saath khelkr he rahunga.

Soon Nandini reached Malhotra Mansion and ran to Manik's room shouting his name.

Nandini- Manik..... Manik. ... Manik kaha hai aap??? Dekhea you are scaring me. Manik mein baat nae krungi.

But to her dismay, she got no reply. Searching all around she came to the pool side. She saw him floating in the water on his back.

Nandini- Manik!!! Manik aap thiik hai??

She asked extending her hand to help him. Suddenly he came out and he was shocked to see him. He pulled her inside the pool and Nandini drowned.

Nandini- Manik mujhe swimming nae aati.

He chuckled and pulled her towards him. She immediately hugged him. He smiled and hugged her back.

She tightened her hold on him and he spoke

Manik- relax you think I'll let you drown.... You don't trust me??

She slowly broke the hug and looked at him who was already looking at her intensely.

Nandini- agar mein haa kahu toh will you believe me???

He left her and she again started splashing matter thinking she might get drown. She then realised the water was not deep and looked at him. A chuckle escaped his lips looking at her. He held her by her shoulder, his gaze fixed at her. She started moving back and he forward. Her back collided with the pool and he caged her between himself and the pool. He pulled the plate of near and Nandini spoke

Nandini- Manik yeh kya hai???

Manik- colours!!!

Nandini- Manik you know na I hate holi...

Manik- that's why I'm loving it. You know mein decide nae kr paaraha tha so meine sb uthaliya. So now you tell me which one do you like.... pink...

Nandini- Manik I hate colours.

Manik- yellow..

Nandini- Manik please...

Manik- blue...

Nandini- Manik what is wrong with you....

Manik- okk fine!!! Ab jb tum decide nae kr paarae ho toh I'll chose my favourite colour red.

He took a handful of colurs near her.

Nandini- Manik mujhe haath mt lgana... don't touch me.

She closed her eyes tightly. He kept looking at her and then slowly put the colour on his both cheeks.

Not feeling his touch, she opened her eyes. He moved close to her and she moved back. Her foot slipped and she caught hold of his arm for support coming a little close. He released his arm from her hold and spoke

Manik- tumhe ne kaha tha haath mt lgana.

He slowly bent to her level and traced his cheek on her making her breathe hitch in her throat.

Looking at her intensely, he spoke

Manik- happy holi.... Nandini

Both kept looking at each other. Their eye lock was broken by car honk. Manik picked her up and bought her out of the pool. He lay her on the beach chair. Nandini looking behind and saw many servants and other people coming holding the decoration things.

Nandini- yeh farmhouse se yaha kyu aarae hai???

Manik- agar tumhe farmhouse bolta toh tum vaha thodi aati.

She looked down and registering his words glared at him.

Manik- oooo.... I'm scared...

Smirking he went away. Later he came back freshened up and saw Nandini wiping her hair.

Manik- koe phaida nae. (She flinched hearing him). Tumhe pta hai na I'm gonna put colour on you toh why waste energy.

Nandini- Manik haven't you had enough. ...

Manik- haven't I had what??? It was just the beginning. There's more to come.

Their talks were disturbed by Mukti.

Mukti- bhai.....

Manik- ehh Mukti!!!! (He then looked at Nandini and then back at Mukti) Tu akele?? Baaki sb kaha hai???

Mukti- mein toh MUKALYA se aarae hu. Baaki sb bhe aate honge mandir se. Pr suddenly venue kyu change hogya???

Manik- ehh....

He saw Cabir following Navya holding the tiffin boxes.

Manik- look Cabir's here. Cabir. ...

Navya was surprised to see Nandini.

Navya- Nandini.... humme lga tum nae aaogi (she hugged her and spoke) Manik ke vjah se??

Before she could continue Manik spoke

Manik- ehhh... Happy Holi Navya

Navya- happy holi Manik. ..

She opened one of the tin and gave it to Cabir. Manik chuckled seeing Cabir and looked at Mukti who was also laughing. Cabir was about to put the sweet piece in his mouth when he spoke

Manik- ek sec ek second...tu RJ ke saath saath dbba vala kbse bngya???

Cabir- well jb blackmailing ka poora ka poora dbba saath ho toh krna pdta hai(he spoke looking at the dbba in his hand). Aur uppr se (mimicking Navya) Hum itna saara kese uthaenge.

Navya- haa toh thiik toh bola. Humse nae hopaega.

Cabir- chood... tu thoos.

Navya then took the box from him and offered it to Mukti.

Navya- Mukti loo na.. ...

Mukti- ehhh. .. Cabir ismein stuff hai?? ?

Cabir- nae.. ... Yeh Ms. Patna ne bnaya na toh no chance. Pr don't worry intzaam hogya hai, vaha counter pe hai.

Mukti- you're the man Cabir.

Navya- Cabir.... pr humne toh stuff daala tha.

Everyone chuckled seeing her confused.

Soon everyone arrived. Cabir was standing near the counter when Nandini patted his back. He turned to her and Navya put colour on his head from behind.

Navya- Happy holi.. ..

She was about to put colour on Nandini when Nandini backed off.

Navya- arre tum kyu piche htrae ho?? ?

Nandini- Navya I don't like holi.

Cabir- toh yaha kya apni sagai pe aae ho? ??

Nandini- vo Manik!!! He wanted to play nasty with me.

Navya- aur tumne usse badla nae liya??? (Nandini nodded her head in a no). Ab lenge.... chalo...

She spoke all excited. They went to Manik who was signing something and giving instructions to the servant.

Cabir- Manik (he hummed in response) Vo surprise jo humne plan kiya tha is ready???

Manik- haa.. ... Surprise na. Dhruv ne plan kiya tha.

Cabir- okk!!

He went back but not before putting colour in Manik's hair from behind. Cavya then bought Nandini who was continuously nodding her head in a no. They pushed her towards Manik. She collided with Manik with a force. He looked at her and she closed her eyes muttering something to her ayiappa.

Nandini- sorry.... (she looked at Cavya and then at Manik and asked). Mein PaNi daallo? ??

Manik- PaNi aur tum???

Nandini- haa

Manik- what a courageous move... go ahead daallo. ...

Nandini- pkka na???

Manik- yea.... yea...

She splashed water directly in his head.

Manik- oooo I'm. .. (he spoke rubbing water from his forhead when he noticed colour) colour????

Cabir smiled while Navni giggled.

Manik- Cabir.... colour seriously. ..

Cabir- haa toh aur kon krega???

He whishled and went away with Navya. Manik then looked at Nandini. She placed the water gun on the floor and spoke

Nandini- Manik mein toh pucha tha na.... sorry...

Saying this she ran away. Manik nodded his head in a no and ran behind her. The family admired them and blessed them silently. Nandini entered the house and hid herself behind the door. She noticed the plate of colours and took it with a thought that she'll hide it too. She was moving back keeping an eye on the door when her back collided with Manik. She turned and gasped.

Manik- finally..... you made my work easy so which colour....

He was busy thinking when she took the red colour and threw it on his face. She cleaned her hands on his shirt .

Manik- what the....

Nandini- aapko red colour bohot psnd hai na.

Saying this she ran away but Manik caught hold of her dupatta and pulled it. She rolled and her back hit with the wall. Manik started cleaning his face with it seeing her.

Nandini- Mani....

But he paid no heed. Finding it an opportunity she thought of escaping. She tried twice but each time Manik blocked her way. He then pulled her towards him with the dupatta and tied the knot behind his back.

Manik- playing games with me. Well I can play better.

Nandini- why??? Only you have the copyright to it??? I can't do anything??

Manik- what's wrong???

Nandini- aapne kaka se jhut bulvaya aur mujhe yaha bulvaya when you know I don't like holi.

He did not say anything just placed his lips on her. Their upper body was sticking to each other making it difficult for both of them. Manik's hand roamed on her curves while her travelled to his hair. She pulled him closer deepening the kiss. He bit her lower lip for entrance. Tasting every corner of her mouth and finding her breathless he broke the kiss. He joined their forehead and both we're catching their breathes.

Manik- will this make it up for you???

She blushed more but did not say anything. He kissed both her cheeks and said

Manik- I got my answer...

She opened her eyed and looked at him. Caressing her cheek, he spoke

Manik- I just can't wait to make you mine forever, to make you Mrs. Nandini Manik Malhotra, to mark you mine. Do you know how difficult it is becoming for me to control around you. Just 10more days to go and you'll be mine officially.

She smiled to her fullest and hugged him tight.

Manik- bahr chale???

She nodded and he opened the knot from his back. He covered her properly with the dupatta and spoke

Manik- perfect!!! Chalo...

They came out and noticed Cabir completed talli near the bhang counter. Manik patted his back and spoke

Manik- Cabir.....

Cabir- hmm....

Manik- you alright???

Cabir- yepp.... perfectly alright. ..

Alya- guys vo surprise is ready...

They nodded and went to Mukti who was busy with her mobile. "Missing me" a voice came from behind. She looked up and saw Abhimanyu standing there with his arms folded.

Mukti- Abhimanyu! !!

She got up and hugged him tight.

Manik- so happy? ??

Mukti- very... thank you guys...

Soon the music started with the competition of drinking the maximum glasses of bhang. Nandini declined as she may get an emergency call from hospital and Manik too as he had to go for a meeting. It was almost afternoon and all the gents including the elders except for Harsh we're fully under the effect of bhang with the younger clan offcourse leaving out Manan.

Next day everyone met in the mall for shopping.

Neyonika- beta jldi jldi krna. Humme saare functions ke dresses lene hai, jewellery aur bhe bohot kuch. Sirf aajka aur kl ka he din hai hummare pass. Parso toh we are leaving.

Manik- mom relax sb hojaega.

Ranveer- ek kaam krte hai let's split. Complete your shopping and we'll meet at the food counter. Yaa let's shop for the ladies first what's say....

Cabir- okk let's shop for girls first.

They went to Sabhyasachi Mukherjee's showroom and later to Manish Malhotra's showroom. As they all we're tired they went to foodcourt to fill their stomachs. Later they went to Armani store and MUKALYA as they had latest collection of gents wear. As they all were tired they decided to end it there itself.

Next day they shopped for the jewellery.

It was a close relatives wedding with a grand reception. They left at 12 at the afternoon. As they we're going by private jet, there was no issue of timings.

Hey guys!!!!! The holi part is up. Just thought of reminiscing Kyy1.

Finally the shopping's done. Bags are packed and they have left for Amritsar. I have to do a lot of preperations plus I need to go and recieve the families too so see you all later. Ta-ta.
