It has been a week since Manik has joined back to his office. In this one week, Nandini had managed their house well. She had changed a no less than hostel to a beautiful house. She changed the curtains, bedsheets and the decor of the house giving it a cozy look and Manik had appreciated it.

It was Sunday morning, the birds we're chirping outside but our love birds we're still sleeping lost in their dream land.

Manan's Apartment

It was around 10 in the morning when Nandini woke up. She looked at Manik who was sleeping snoring a little indicating how tired he was. She caressed his hair which had fallen on his forehead and kissed a mole above his lips. She recalled all the last night events and blushed. She turned to and traced his forehead making him move a little. She traced his lower lip suppressing her giggles and he shook his head feeling ticklish with frowns on his forehead. She did it twice and the third time Manik caught his hand.

Manik- you won't let me sleep isinn'tit???

Nandini- you have a beautiful wife awake and you want to waste your time sleeping. So unrommantic of you Mr. Malhotra....

She exclaimed dramatically.

Manik- ahaa!!! I see. Someone's in mood early morning....

Nandini- it's 10 not an early morning so get up husband...

She got up holding the duvet close to her chest. A naughty idea striked Manik's mind and he pulled the duvet a little. She looked at him and spoke

Nandini- what are you doing Manik???

Her cheeks slightly heated up!!!

Manik- what am I doing? ? I wanna sleep and I need the duvet simple!!!

He shrugged.

Manik- vese why do you need the duvet Nandini?? Tumhe thand lgrae hai yaa you are afraid that I'll see what you are trying to hide from me...

Nandini- Manik!!!

She spoke shyly. He got up and spoke in her ear

Manik- vese ek baat btao.... I have seen the glory which you are hidding multiple times....

She pushed him back and he fell on the bed laughing at her expense. She was about to go when he stopped her

Nandini- Manik don't tease me na.....

She pouted.

Manik- arre mein toh bs itna kehra tha ke even I need the duvet like you to hide my glory. Vese toh mujhe koe pareshaani nae hai if you see my junior which you already have pr if you wanna see again then....

She palm his mouth with her hand and hid her face in his chest. He had a beautiful smile adoring his lips. He wrapped his arm around her and spoke

Manik- kya hua Mrs. Malhotra??? Feeling shy??? Acha idhr toh dekho...

She nodded her head in a no and he chuckled.

Manik- it was you who started with your mischief ab meine kiya toh you are shy hmm???

He could feel her lips curving in a smile. She kissed his chest and hugged him tight to which he equally reciprocated.

Nandini was making breakfast for both of them and Manik had back hugged her nuzzling his face in the crook of her neck. He would offen lick her neck or say something naughtly or sweet making her giggle and blush.

Manik was sitting on his chair and Nandhini was arranging the table. She was about to sit on her chair when he pulled her and she landed in his lap. A squeal escaped her lips and she looked at Manik who was smiling at her. She tried to get up but he was adamant not to leave her and instead tightened his hold on her.

Manik- stop moving wifey you ain't helping me anyway.

She embarrassingly palmed her face and he laughed seeing her. Both had their breakfast and later were sitting in the living room when Manik's phone rang....

Manik- bol bay!!!
(This is the way, I answer my brother's call😂😂)

Cabir- tu kamine ka kamina he rahega humesha. Na hii na hello sidha bol bay.... huh... koe izzat he nae hai mere.. bichara mein....

"Ohh shut up Cabir, apni joker giri baad mein dekhaeyo abhi come to the point", came Abhimanyu's voice from behind.

Manik- guys conference call hai? ??

Dhruv- haa buddy.

Karan- hey Manik!!!

Manik- hii buddy!!! Hlo Karan.

Before he could continue Ranveer spoke

Ranveer- bhai mein bhe hu bich mein...

Manik- mein soch he raha tha ke tere aavaz nae aae.

Cabir- chuck the formalities yrr point pe aao.

Abhimanyu- ohh haa.... Manik, aaj Fifa finals hai yrr let's catch up.

Manik- arre haa. Mein bhuul gya tha. Ek kaam kro tum sb yhi aajao, we'll enjoy here.

Dhruv- buddy tu sure hai na??? Nae mtlb Nandini bhe toh hogi na vo bevajah pareshaan na ho jae...

Manik- come onn yrr buddy. Tu kbse itna formal hone lga aur haa bring girls along. They'll enjoy too.

Ranveer- chalo phir we'll be there in an hour or two, bye bhai...

Soon he cut the call and looked at Nandini who was looking at him with her eyebrows raised.

Manik- vo everyone is coming home today and we are gonna watch fifa finals.

Nandini- typical men....

Saying this she got up and went to their room.

Manik- arre kaha jaarae ho???

Nandini- change krne Manik, sb aarae hai and I'm roaming around in your shirt.

He picked her up and both lay on the bed.

Manik- baad mein!!! Abhi there's lot of time for them to come.

The boys we're sitting in the living room chatting and the girls we're with Nandini in the kitchen. Manik and Ranveer had gone to bring the drinks.

Nandini- guys yeh log toh ek baar shuru hogae toh t.v. ke aage se koe uthega nae what are we gonna do???

Alya- let's have a girls day out what's say???

Navya- aur inlog ko piche se khaana kon dega???

Shreya- exactly! !! Agar humlog chale gae na toh Nandu yeh tere ghr ke band bjadenge.....

Mukti- I second that!!!! So ab kya kre???

Nandini- mere pass idea hai!!! Inlog ko let them be aur hum mere room mein chalte hai. Let's dance and play around....

Abheer- cha....chi.... cha.... chi....

Before she could continue Abheer's voice caught their attention. Nandini smiled hearing chachi from him. Mukti gestured Nandini to hid and she took Abheer in her arms.

Mukti- abhu.... chachi kaha hai.... abhu ke chachi kaha hai....

As a reflex Abheer started looking around for Nandini. Not finding her around he looked at Mukti with his fingers in his mouth.

Mukti- kya hua?? Chachi nae mili abhu ko???

He nodded his head in no. Nandini called him and he looked around trying to find her. Not able to spot her he started wailing. Nandini came out from behind the refrigerator and took Abheer from Mukti.

Nandini- awwle... awwle... mera beta. Chachi nae milri thi mere bete ko hmm...

And he snuggled more into him.

Alya- he's so attached to you Nandini.

Navya- true that!!! Kabhi kabhi toh hum sochte hai ke yeh humara beta hai yaa tumhara.

Nandini- Navya isse janam tumne zrur diya hai pr beta toh yeh mera he hai.

Everyone smiled hearing her. Nandini noticed sadness in Alya's eyes and she made a mental note of asking her about it.

Later Nandini took the tray and went to the living room to serve the snacks to the boys. She was about to go when Cabir called her. She turned to him and he clicked her picture.

Cabir- perfect!!! Nandu don't mind pr mein tere yeh picture SNS pe post krne vaala hu.

The ladies we're sitting in Manan's room gossiping when Manik knocked the door.

Manik- sorry to disturb you ladies. Ehh... Nandini vo snacks nae milrae...

Nandini- Manik meine thodi deer pehle he toh chips vgera ke packets diyay thay....

Manik- vo khatam hogya...

He smiled sheepishly.

Manik- make something instant na please...

She sighed and nodded. She then turned to the ladies and spoke

Nandini- Alya mind joining????

Shreya- arre Nandu chal mein aati hu...

Alya sensed Nandini wanted to talk to her so she spoke

Alya- nae bhabi you sit, I'll go. Vese bhe Aashi aapki lap mein sorae hai...

Both of them went to the kitchen and Nandini was thinking how to start the conversation.

Alya- Nandini! !!!

Nandini- haa..

Alya- you want to sat something???

Nandini- nae... nae...

Alya- vo I felt you wanted to talk something. ..

Nandini- Alya I... ehh... honestly don't know how to start. It's just I saw some sadness in your eyes today. I don't want to interrupt in your privacy pr...

Alya- Nandini relax!!! Say whatever you want to I won't mind at all.

Nandini- Alya why don't you and Dhruv try for a child??? I mean I have seen that loneliness in your eyes many times and it has been long since you and Dhruv are married....

Alya- we tried Nandini. It's about two years back, I had a miscarriage and doctors said I can never conceive again. We consulted the best doctors but nothing worked.

A few tears escaped her eyes. Nandini hugged her and spoke

Nandini- I'm sorry Alya. I should have not spoken about it. I'm really sorry, I did not mean to hurt you or make you cry.

Alya- it's not your fault Nandini. You never knew anything about this.

Nandini- still I'm sorry Alya. ...

Ranveer- wohoo!!!! Anything serious???

Ranveer asked entering the kitchen.

Ranveer- kuch hua hai kya??? It seems you both cried.

Nandini- kuch nae hua RV. We just got emotional, nothing else...

Alya- exactly!!! Aur Ranveer please bahar jaakr don't say it to anyone, please....

Ranveer- you sure na nothing wrong???

Both the ladies assured him and he nodded.

It was midnight when everyone decided to go back to their respective houses.

Nandini- guys yhi ruk jao na aaj ke raat. Vese bhe it's already two...

Abhimanyu- nae baby doll, we should leave. Subha kaam pe bhe jaana hai.

Karan- I second you. We'll catch up again don't worry princess.

Soon everyone left except for Ranveer and Mukti.

Nandini- chalo both of you off to bed subha ko utha nae jaega.

She spoke picking up the dishes from the coffee table in the living room.

Manik- jaan chodo. Subha Kanta Bai krdengi.

Nandini- bs doo minute lgenge Manik!!

Manik- ek minute bhe nae. Even you are joining back tomorrow and you need proper sleep so I'm not listening.

Saying this he picked her up in bridal style while Mukti and Ranveer we're looking at them in aww. Manik looked at them and spoke

Manik- good night evil twins!!!

Saying this he went to his room. Both of them chuckled and went to their respective rooms.

Manan's room
Nandini- Manik why did you pick me up. Vo dono kya soch rae honge.

He placed his lips on her shutting her banter. Breaking apart he spoke

Manik- kitna bolti ho tum. Thaki nae ho din bhar se....

She pouted and spoke

Nandini- I hate you!!!

She went to the closet and changed her clothes meanwhile Manik changed in the room itself. She came and lay on her side of bed facing her back to him. He back hugged and spoke

Manik- so someone is angry hmm....

She did not respond so he kissed her cheek.

Manik- acha sorry. ....

She turned to him and spoke

Nandini- what for???

Manik- for picking you up out there!!!

Nandini- seriously you think mein islia gussa hu???

He shrugged. .. She giggled and spoke

Nandini- mein gussa hu he nae.... Ab itna cute sa pati hai mera gussa kese rehskti hu...

She giggled again.

Manik- cute haa!!! Msti with me.... abhi btata hu....

He hovered her and nuzzled in her neck making her giggle. He smiled hearing her giggling and kissed her forehead.

Manik- stay happy always...

She smiled hearing him and hugged him tight

Nandini- you stay with me and I'll always be happy.

Next morning Nandini woke up late and as a result she had to skip her routine.

Nandini- Shit 8 bjgae!!!!

She turned to the other side and found Manik sleeping. She came out of his grip and ran to the washroom hurriedly.

She changed in

And applying the vermilion in her hair went out hurriedly. She knocked Ranveer's room and after 5mins he opened the door.

Ranveer- good morning bhabi....

He spoke with half closed eyes leaning to the door.

Nandini- morning RV. Utho and get ready.

He nodded and went back. She entered behind him and made his bed. She then went to Mukti's room and did the same.

Nandini- aaj toh first day pe he late hone vaala hai. Ayiappa!!!! Breakfast bhe bnana hai abhi..... Shit Manik! !!!

She spoke to herself and almost ran to her room. She shook him a little waking him up

Nandini- Manik!!!! Manik uthea. Time dekhea aap late hojaenge office ke lia..

Manik- emmm... Nandini let me sleep yrr... tum bhe sojao.

He pulled her and she landed on his chest.

Nandini- Manik uthea. Time dekhea 8:45 horae hai. Aapko late hojaega. Uthea na...

He opened his eyes and looked at her worried face and spoke in his hoarse voice

Manik- what's wrong????

Nandini- Manik late hogya hai. Time dekho. Breakfast bhe bnana hai aur mujhe khud bhe ready hona hai. Utea na....

He nodded and she went to the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone. Soon Mukti joined her. She kissed Nandini's cheek wishing her morning. Nandini smiled cupping her face with one hand wishing her back.

Mukti- bhabi mein kuch help kru???

Nandini- nae sb hogya hai bs juice bnana hai ab.

She flipped the spatula when she heard Manik calling her.

Mukti- bhabi aap jao. Mein dekhti hu yaha.

Nandini- please haa....

Saying this she went to her room.

Manan's Room
Nandini- Manik kya hua???

Manik- yrrr mera phone nae milra aur handkerchiefs bhe pta nae kaha rakhe hai tumne.

She went to the closet and gave him his handkerchief.

Nandini- saamne he toh rakha tha Manik. Aur aapko phone living room mein hai, charge pr lgaya hai.

She was about to go when he pulled her.

Nandini- tch... Manik chodea na, Mukti kitchen mein akeli hai....

He shhhed her, placing his lips on her. He removed the clip from her hear letting them fall. They broke apart and rested their forehead against each other.

Manik- you forgot my dose.

She shyly looked down and he smiled seeing the red hue on her face.

Manik- you forgot to put vermilion???

Nandini- lgaya toh hai.

She first looked in the mirror than him. He picked the box and applied it again in her hairline.

Manik- thoda ache se lgao.

Nandini- possessive much hmm...

He grinned and she nodded her head in disbelief. She went out and saw Ranveer settling himself on the dinning table.

Ranveer- morning bhabi. ...

He smiled. She reciprocated equally and went to kitchen. Soon Manik joined all ready in

He settled on his chair when Mukti and Nandini bought the breakfast. Mukti kissed his cheek wishing him.

Manik- morning princess and morning to you too Jn. Malhotra.

Ranveer smiled at him cheekily and both the ladies settled on their respective seats.

Manik- tu casuals mein kyu ghum raha hai???

He asked Ranveer.

Ranveer- vo mujhe aaj shoot ke lia jaana hai. So pehle ghr jaunga phir will pack my stuff.

Manik- kaha jaana hai???

Ranveer- lonavla!!! For two days.

Manik nodded. Soon both the sibling left.

Nandini- dhyaan rakhna okk. Aur kuch bhulna mt smjha....

She instructed Ranveer. He nodded and she kissed his forehead.

Mukti- bhabi mein rehgae...

She pointed at her cheek. Nandini chuckled and kissed her cheek. She locked the door and came inside when Manik was wearing his shoes.

Manik- tumhe kab tk nikalna hai???

Nandini- mein Kanta Bai ke jaane ke baad niklungi kyu??

Manik- vo I thought I'll drop you.

She mouthed an ohh and continued with her work.

"Nandini, I'm leaving ", she heard Manik. Cleaning her hands, she went to see off Manik.

Soon she too left for her work.

It was 6 in the evening when she returned back. She placed her hand bag on the couch and settled herself throwing her head back.

Nandini- it was such a tiring day ayiappa.

She talked to her ayiappa. She then tied her hair and pulled them in a messy bun. She changed herself in comfy wear settled on the couch with her coffee and switched on the television. She lay on the couch with her head on it's arm and unknowingly drifted to sleep.

Almost after an hour her phone rang.

Nandini- hello!!!!

She spoke in a sleepy voice. The person on the other side smiled hearing her voice. "Nandini", he called. She looked at screen and noticed it was Manik's call.

Nandini- ji....

She sat straight.

Manik- tum so rae thi???

Nandini- nae... mtlb haa... tch... I mean mein t.v. dekhte dekhte so gae thi.

He chuckled on the other side.

Manik- so my baby is tired hmm....

She hmmed in response.

Manik- acha you rest okk. Meine ye btane ke lia phone kiya tha ke I'll be late still have a meeting pending....

Nandini- late kyu?? Manik meeting kl postpone krlete na....

Manik- I tried jaan pr the clients are going back tomorrow.

Nandini- okk. Toh phir dinner???

Manik- arre haa. Don't cook for me okk....

Nandini- okk....

Manik- chalo see you at home, need to leave. Bye muffin, love you...

Nandini- love you too.

She placed the phone on the coffee table and slept again.

Around 12 Manik entered the house. He looked at Nandini who was sleeping on the couch. He sighed and took her to the room. Due to sudden movement she opened her eyes and found herself in the most safest place.

Manik- hey!!!! I'm sorry meine tumhe utha diya.

He spoke placing her carefully on the bed. She shook her head side ways and spoke

Nandini- aap itni late aae!!!! Kuch lenge???

Manik- I'm sorry, but I was bound with work. You tell me, dinner kiya???

She bit her lower lip not daring to look in his eyes.

Manik- God Nandini you can't be serious yrr!!!! Mtlb agar meine bola don't cook for me toh tumne bhe dinner miss krdiya....

He spoke with his one hand on his forehead and other on his waist.

Nandini- vo mein soo rae thi aur phir neend bhe nae tooti islia dinner rehgya.

He went to the kitchen and fetched her a glass of milk. She made a face seeing it and he spoke

Manik- don't! !!! Don't make those faces. Finish it chalo jldi!!!!

She gulped it down making faces and muttered "monster". Soon he changed and both slept peacefully.
