"Haan?!! Nandini is.." He said as he came back to reality

Sanaya: Your phone is ringing since long time and you aren't answering!! And about Nandini..doctor is checking her!

Manik realise that he was dreaming!! He answered the call "Yeah mom..nahi office mat aana woh..i'm in hospital..no mom relax! I'm okay..! I'll tell you once i'll be back okay! Hmm..take care.." He cut the call

Manik pov: What was that..I dreamt of Nandini being Preg..??! God Manik you have lost it!! Stop overthinking!! but what if that I saw in the dream becomes true?

"Then what Manik..it's okay! She is married and happy with her life..!" His mind shouted

"No Manik..this is not okay!! Just stop overthinking..maybe she fainted because of stress and all!" His heart replied

"Shut up..! Manik..maybe your dream is indicating that Nandini is actually pregnant! She has her husband..her family! Just forget her Manik..forget her!!" Mind shouted little more

"Noo!! Manik..don't listen to him..he is talking nonsense..just listen to me! It was just a dream okay!! Just forget that dream..just remember that time you met her..the time you spent with her..!! You can't forget her Manik!!" Heart shouted in equal tone

"Doctor how is she? All okay ??" Manik asked as doctor came to him and Sanaya

Doc: Yeah..she is fine now..

"But doctor why she fainted? I mean..what's the reason?" Sanaya asked and Manik was impatient to know that reason

"She is weak! Due to low sugar levels..she fainted.." Doctor said and Manik heaved a sigh of relief

Heart: See I told you na..it was just a dream

Mind: Yeah okay..whatever..

"Shut up!" Manik whispered

Doctor: Aap dono mein se who is more closer to her?

Sanaya: Yeah doctor..i'm her friend..

"When she had her last meal?"

Sanaya: I don't know doctor..but as much i know she only had water today morning

"Please take care of her..uske khane peene ka as she's weak!" Doctor said while Manik was carefully listening to him "I will prescribe some medicines please give it to her okay!"

Sanaya: Yes doctor..

Manik: umm...doctor..can we meet her now?

Doc: Yes!

"Mrs Kapoor..you should take care of yourself..! why you being so careless haan??" Manik said in a stern voice

"Sanaya!! I want to go home!" Nandini said to her as she didn't want to answer Manik

Manik: Yeah okay..i'll drop you

"No..Manik sir we will manage!!" Nandini said and tried to get up but she couldn't because of her weakness..

Sanaya: Nandu..you're not even able to stand properly aise kaise manage karogi..Manik keh raha hai na that he'll drop us so lets go na..chalein?

Nandini nodded and got up..she was about to fall when Manik held her..

"Wait!" Manik said and took her in his arms.. Nandini looked at him and Sanaya smiled widely

Manik reached her home..he open the door of the car

"Come..I will take you inside.." Manik said forwarding his hand to her

"No..main..I can walk.." Nandini said struggling to stand up as still she was feeling little dizzy.., without thinking twice..Manik took her in his arms

While Sanaya was just looking at them

"Manik!!! I said na..I can walk!!" Nandini said irritatedly

"Haan..woh dikh raha hai mujhe.." Manik said as he started walking

"Nanduu..!! Kya hua beta??" Koyal asked seeing Nandini in Manik arms..Manik made her stand

"Woh aunty...actually she fainted in office..we took her to the doctor and he said that she fainted because of weakness..low sugar level.." Sanaya said making Nandini sit on the couch and Manik was seeing the house as it was the first time that he entered inside

"Weakness toh hogi hi na beta..kal ko bhi she didn't eat anything..apna khayal hi nahi rakhti ye.." Koyal said bringing water for her "Arre tum hato saam ne se.." Koyal said to Manik and both Nandini and Sanaya's eyes widen..

Nandini: Mamma..! He is my boss! Manik Malhotra..!

Koyal: What?!

Sanaya: Yes aunty..and he's the one who took us to the doctor..

Koyal: Oh..I'm very sorry Mr Malhotra and thank you so much for..

Manik: No aunty..it's alright..! and you are like my mom only so you can call me Manik

"Arrre..when this monster becomes so polite?!!" Nandini murmured this line to herself

Koyal: Okay Manik..beta! You want tea, coffee or..

Manik: No aunty abhi main chalta hoon I have works to do..

Koyal: Okay..

"Can you give me your mobile number..I mean abhi tum office mat aana as you should take rest! but if there will be some important work then I will inform you.." Manik said as he came near Nandini

Nandini: Hmm..

Nandini wrote her number on a paper and gave it to him..Manik intentionally throw the paper near her feet..as he saw Nandini bending to pick it..he immediatly did the same

"Suno!" Manik whispered and Nandini looked at him

"Just take care of yourself okay! No junk foods, take your medicines on time and do not skip any of your meals! okay!! Manik said and Nandini nodded surprisingly

"Nandu..tune dekha na..he still cares for you yaar..!! He is the same Manik.." Sanaya said to Nandini who was taking her medicines

Sanaya: Arrey suddenly itna care because he cares for you!! He didn't change Nandini..abhi bhi he has the same feelings for you..! And tum..tumbhi usse abhi bhi..

"Nandu.." Koyal said entering her room "Your boss is not rude at all..! Aur tum kehti ho ke he..

Nandini: Mamma..! Now please ap bhi shuru mat hojana..i'm tired..i wanna sleep so..

Koyal : Acha baba..goodnight..and Sanaya tum aj yahiin Nandini ke paas so jao..

Sanaya: No aunty..i'm paying for that flat..main nahi gayi tou that will be loss of money na..so i'm going..bye Nandu..

"So..you wanna bring Nandini in your life again?" Nyonika asked Manik sternly as she found out that Nandini is his P.A and he took her to the hospital

Nyonika: I have called at your office..Barun told me..! Manik she is married now!! Just forget her..!

"Mom relax! Don't get hyper okay! Abhi I have to call someone so excuse me..Ramu..! Mera khana room mein laana.." Manik said and went to his room

"Should I call her..?" Manik was being restless..he wanted to know about Nandini's health..he remembered that day when Nandini told him that she fell and sprained her ankle

Manik pov: God..!! She told me that she is coming..why is she taking so much time to come to college.. Yes..it since 2 months we have become quite good friends..actually very close friends! Sanaya..haan that chatter box..bas bolti rehti hai..but i like her..as a friend ofcourse..! Nandini!! Where are you..agrhh..why did she switch off her mobile..i am missing her like hell..! Her angelic face which I just want to admire..! Her gorgeous smile which always brings a smile on my lips..! Her sweet voice which i just want to listen every time..! God!! I just can't get her out of my head!! Yeah..! I am falling in love with her..! or should I say that I have already fallen in love with her..?

"Yes you have already fallen for her!! You love her!!" Heart replied

"YES..I LOVE HER!!"

"Sanaya!! Wait!! Where is Nandini?" Manik said as she saw Sanaya going to her class

Sanaya: I don't know Manik..woh abhi tak nahi aayi?

Manik: No yaar..I am worried..her phone is switched off as well..I was waiting for her in the morning but nahi..she said her 'Appa' has not left for his job yet and if he will see us together then there will be 'Mahabharat' this girl I tell you! I mean come on yaar she can say that we are friends right! abhi I don't know..I just hope she is fine!!

Sanaya: Manik..chill..Nandini thik hogi don't worry..her appa is there..with her right..so she must be okay!

Manik: Hmm..

"Now I have to go..mera important lecture hai..see you!" Saying this she went from there..just then Manik's phone rang..he saw that was an unknown number

Manik: Hello..

"Hello Manik?" Nandini said

"Nandini!! Is that you?! kahan ho tum haan?? I am waiting for you but tum tou.." He was saying when he heard Nandini low voice.. "Manik..woh..I.."

Manik worried: "Nan..Nandini?? Are you okay??! Speak up!!"

Nandini: Haan woh bas..I am sorry..!! I made you wait na..it's all my fault agar main stairs se nahi girti na tou

Manik: What..you fell from the stairs?!! and tum mujhe ab bata rahi ho?!! Is Appa there?

Nandini: Nahi..wo appa ke jaane ke baad..as I was descending the stairs so I slipped and fell..and I think I sprained my ankle! my ankle is paining..

Manik: Okay..I'm coming!

Nandini: Manik no!! You attend your classes na..I can take care of myself!

"Shut up okay! I said I'm coming!!" He said and cut the call

Doctor was checking Nandini as Manik called him..he told that Nandini has sprained her ankle .. she should take rest and be sure not to put pressure on her legs.. soon he left

"You could have call me early right?!!" Manik said applying the
ointment on her sprained ankle

"Arre..why so gussa haan? Nandini said making a pout.. "When I fell..mera phone bhi gir gaya tha..it was broken..and I couldn't even stand..woh tou luckily, I saw a girl passing by..! she helped me and uske hi phone se maine call kiya tumhai..

Manik: Okay..!

"Manik! Let me go na.." Nandini said as Manik was not letting her walk

Manik: Nandini..doctor said na not to put pressure on your legs..your ankles are paining right..so stay on the bed itself!

"But Manik..mujhe woh..washroom janna hai so.." Nandini said looking down..

Manik smiled looking at her..

He took Nandini in his arms and start walking towards the washroom

Nandini: Why so caring?

Manik: Because I care for my friend!

Nandini: Only friend?!

"You want me call you as my girlfriend?!" Manik asked with a smirk and Nandini blushed

"Now go to washroom..I am waiting right here..okay!" Manik said and Nandini went inside

"Her blush!!" Manik smiled sheepishly
