"Sir! Stop the car!!!" Nandini suddenly said and Manik stopped the car..

"What happen?!!" Manik asked and Nandini looked at him "Are you okay..??" He asked with a concern

''Woh..mera ghar aa gaya.." She said showing him her house

( Nandini's house )

"Ohh..!! So.. this is your house..i really thought that.."

"That I stay in a big bungalow.. right?"

"Right..! but ye tou..I mean it's small! 'Mrs Nandini Kapoor'..chote se ghar mein..wow!" He let out a chuckle. But deep inside, he wanted to know more about her! He wanted to know where her family is!

"Whatever Mr Malhotra.. I'm just happy with my life..and abhi i'm getting late so bye!" Nandini said and left

Manik's pov

Kuch tou hai..!! It's strange..! First job, then this small house..

Is she hiding something from me?!

I seriously have to find out the truth!!

Nandini entered her house..she went to her mamma room to see if she's sleeping or not but..her mamma was awake, sitting on the bed with a photo frame in her hand

( Koyal's bedroom )

"What is this mamma..you're still awake! Maine apse kaha tha na ap so jaana then why you.." Nandini said while walking towards her and notice her tears..!

"Mamma! Why are u crying?!!" Nandini asked with a concern.. she saw the photo frame and soon tears brimmed in her eyes "AKHIL..." she whispered

"You know Nandu..when your father-in-law died..Akhil was the only one who took care of me..jab main bimar hoti thi..he used to wake up all night to look after me whether i'm fine or not..now he's not here to take care of me..he left me..!" Koyal said while crying..

Nandini somehow control her tears "Mamma..please..! Stop crying.." Nandini said while hugging her.."I'm here na..I'm here to take care of you..hamesha..!" Nandini console her.. "Mamma stop crying..! Ok now sleep..warna aap aur bimar par jaogi.. phir apka yeh beta hai na mujhe nahi chodega" Nandini said smiling which made Koyal smile a bit..
Nandini made her laid on the bed and covered her with the duvet.."Goodnight mamma.." She was about to go when Koyal called her

"Nandu..." She called her

"Haan mamma..u need something?" Nandini asked as she turned to her smilingly.

"Nothing beta..goodnight!" Nandini smiled and left..

Koyal's pov

How can this girl be so strong..?!!

You're broken inside but you won't show that to me. Why are you hiding your tears Nandu..?

Why..?

I know you're showing this fake smiling face to me so that I don't fall weak. But I know you're not fine. I know you're broken inside.

God please return her happiness..please!

Flashback

"Appa...!!" Nandini said all excitedly..and she hugged her appa..

(Nandini's dad name as Kailesh Murthy)

"How are you girl? maine surprise kiya na meri bachi ko..? kaisa laga surprise?" He kissed her forehead

"Appa aap kab aaye..I mean when..how..?!!"

"Arre Nandini..let your dad take a breath first!" Akhil said

Writer's pov: Introducing Akhil Kapoor.., Nandini's husband. A business man. Dashing, handsome, a very kind hearted person.

"Appa aap andar aaye na. Mamma..see appa aaye hai.."

"Arre Kailesh ji aap kab aaye? Humain bataya bhi nahi" Koyak smiled

"Yes mamma..dekho na appa ne inform bhi nahi kiya.." Nandini made a pout

"Arre Nandu..Akhil beta batao isko.."

"What..?! Akhil..?! Akhil did you know that appa yahan..London aayenge?" Nandini put her hand on her waist, asking Akhil an explanation.

"Yes..actually. ."

"Haww....you're so bad...!!"

"Arre Nandu..he's not bad..Akhil wanted to surprise you..I was about to come last week only but..main chahkar bhi nahi aa saka meri job ki wajah se but he made all arrangements for me to come here..isne kaha ke main tumhai kuch na bataoun infact he did this all for you only then why are you calling him bad.." Kailesh said and Koyal smiled

"Sorry, Akhil. But tumne kyun nahi bataya ke appa is coming to london haan??! Why..??"

"Nandini..! Surprise tha yaar.."

"Acha chalo ab enough of this discussion..Kailesh ji chaliye app fresh ho jaye..then dinner sath mein karenge.."

"Appa lets go..apko apka room dikhati hoon.." Nandini said

"Haan...chalo.." They were going but Nandini stopped

"ummm...appa ap chalo main aati hoon.."

"Okay..'' He said and went from there..

Nandini turned to akhil "Thank you Akhil..!!" and she hugged him..

"It's okay..! Tumhare liye..kuch bhi!" Akhil whispered in her ears and she smiled

Flashback ends.

Nandini standing near the window..looking at the sky..
"Thank you Akhil..thank you for everything..! I miss you..!! Appa...your daughter will always love you..!! I miss you appa.!!
Nandini said while wiping her tears and soon she dozed off

Sunday 6:30 pm

Nandini was all ready..light makeup.., hair open..she was looking perfect.

"Nandu..driver tumko lene aaya hai.."

"Mamma.. I am looking good na?" Nandini gave a last glance at herself in the mirror

"Haan..you're looking beautiful like always, dekho now you're going to a party. If koi bhi ladka mile na tou..

"Mamma....how many times I have to tell that yeh sab batein mat kiya karo!!" Nandini cut her in between

"Offo..okay..!"

"Hmm." Nandini gave a faint smile

"What happen?" Koyal asked

"Woh mamma. I don't want to go.." Nandini replied in a low voice

"Arre it's just a party na Nandu aur agar mann nahi lagega wahan to ghar jaldi aa jaana"

"No mamma, mera woh khadoos boss hai na..he won't let me come home early.." She pouted

"Nandu..apne boss, Manik Malhotra ke bare mein aise bolege? Acha you already told me his name but you didn't tell me how does he look?! I mean handsome and all.." She winked at her

"Mamma stop it now please..!" Nandini was hesitated and Koyal laughed

"Okay okay..now go do some more make up."

"Mamma no..! I won't..! I like the way I am..and even Mani....." She abruptly stopped as she realised what she was going to say

"Mani..what??" Koyal looked at her in confusion

"Umm..nothing mamma ok now bye..warna der ho jayegi.."

"Wow! this is so beautiful.." Nandini said while entering in the hotel..she was seeing all the decorations just then Manik came

( Manik's outfit )

"Wow..Mrs Kapoor..you have come early i must say..!" Manik said in a sarcastic tone

"Woh sir..woh mamma na..she's ill na tou.." She stumbled with words

"Yeah okay..you and your mamma..!"

"Hi Nandini..! You are looking pretty!" Barun said as he came to her

"Thank you Barun..tum bhi kuch kam nahi lag rahe ho.." Nandini sniled

( Barun's outfit )

"Ahaa thank you!"

"Now..agar tum dono ki batein khatam ho gayi ho so lets go..Mr Patel called us" Manik said

Soon Mr Patel announced about that deal..and everyone congratulated Manik..

"You felt jealous?!!" Barun asked Manik while Nandini was talking to some ladies

"What..?"

"Yeah..Nandini complimented me..not you" Barun knew that he was jealous.

"Oh shut up Barun..I don't feel jealous okay!" Manik said casually

"Really?" Barun asked while laughing. He was teasing him in return he got a glare from Manik

"Miss Nandini! This is for you..take it" Mr Patel said offering a drink to her

"Nahi.. it's okay Mr Patel..i'm okay with cold drink only.." Nandini said as she doesn't drink alcohol

"Lelo Nandini.. why are you hesitating?..i mean everyone here is drinking..you must enjoy yourself..!" Mr Patel forced her to take it

Nandini's pov

Aiiyappa what should I do? if I say no., agar Mr Patel ko gussa aa gaya aur deal cancel kar di tou?

Tou Manik gussa karega and he'll not be happy afterall this deal is important for him na..

"Miss Nandini..what are you thinking..take it" Mr Patel grabbed her hand to hand her the drink..and with this the drink fell on her dress

"Leave her!!!" Manik said sternly while coming to Nandini

"Ahh..Mr Malhotra.. see apki P.A is not enjoying the party.." Mr Patel said and Manik glared at Nandini

"No..sir woh..i'm really enjoying the party..! its just that I..I.." Nandini stammered

"It's just that she doesn't drink Mr Patel..don't force her" Manik said to Patel and Nandini looked at him

"Ohh..okay then..I'm very sorry Nandini..enjoy the party..i'll just come" Mr Patel said and left

"What the hell..!! You don't drink right?!! You could have tell him that..why you didn't??" Manik shouted as he took her to the corner

"Woh..I thought..app gussa karenge..and agar mere 'no' kehne se Mr Patel ko gussa aa jata tou then there would be problems..and this deal also is very important for you na so.." She said innocently while looking down

Manik's pov

God Manik!! Shut up..

It's because of you that she didn't say anything..!

She was worried if i lose this deal then i will not be happy with it. She knows that this deal is important for me..but yeah

He looked at her dress..it was completely spoiled..he took his phone and called Rosy (she is an employer)

"Rosy..! Get me a dress right now...yup..jaisa bhi hai just bring it..Listen i don't think it's important for you to know that..so just bring the dress..it's urgent! Yeah okay..i'm coming in the room.." He said and cut the call

"Come with me.." Manik grabbed Nandini's hand and took her with him to a room

"Give me that dress..you can go now.."

Rosy gave him the dress and left..
While Manik looked at a confused Nandini

"Woh..your dress is completely spoiled.. it doesn't look good woh bhi party mein..so wear it.." Manik said giving her the dress and Nandini looked at the dress

"No it's okay..i'm okay with my dress only..aur vaise bhi you know i don't wear this kind of dress.." Nandini refused

"Mrs Nandini Kapoor..you're forgetting that you are my P.A..your dress is spoiled and i want you to look the best okay! So wear this..!" Manik said while throwing the dress on her face

"No..!! Tumhai pata hai na..then why are you forcing me?!! I am not going to wear this" Nandini shouted and threw the dress on the floor

"Listen..there are so many people in the party..if they will see you like this tou they will make fun of you..so wear this otherwise.." Manik said and was about to go when Nandini stopped him

"Otherwise what haan? I don't care what they will think or say about me..!

"But I do care damn it!!!! Why don't you understand that I.." Manik shouted and pinned her to the wall

Nandini was too numb to react! They were Close after a long..Time!

Instantly tears welled up in her eyes. Manik left her and was about to leave when she held his hand

"That you..what Manik?! You care about me right..! Then why are you behaving like this..we met after 2 years..! and we didn't even talk properly..Manik..let's talk..for 2 minutes atleast..please?" Nandini said in a pleading tone

"Yes..!! 2 years Nandini..2 damn years!!..do you even know how much I suffered in this 2 years..!!! You left me and married another guy just because..leave it. Just go home..your mamma and your so called husband must be waiting for you.." Manik said looking in her eyes with anger

"Manik..!"

"Go home Mrs Kapoor..!! Come outside..I'll tell my driver to drop you.." Manik said while leaving Nandini alone..

And there was Barun at the door who listen everything!! He had doubt but he wasn't sure that girl who left Manik is Nandini only! He immediately went after Manik..

"Aiiyyappa..Manik aisa kyun karta hai..he doesn't give me time to explain myself..okay now decided..i'm not gonna tell him anything..!! i'm not going to talk to him anymore!!" Nandini said while crying

"Manik listen! Kahan ja rahe ho?"

"Barun..I'm going home..we'll meet tomorrow.. at office okay..bye!" Manik said and left

Barun's pov

Manik is suffering because of that Nandini!! Kal baat karunga usse main!!
