"Hey Manik..what's happening?" Barun said while entering in the cabin.

"Tune isse rakha hai meri personal assistant haan? She doesn't even know the abcd of being a personal assistant (PA) dude!" Manik said in an angry, loud tone.

Barun: What? aisa nahi hai yaar..she's perfect for you!

"Barunn...." Manik glared at him.

"Arre I mean she's perfect for this job you know..and why you're shouting on her..dekh she's afraid!" Barun said while walking towards Nandini.

"Barun! maine isse kaha ke she should stay here till the meeting end! you know that meeting with Mr Patel is very much important but no Mrs Kapoor wants to go home because her mamma ..her mother-in-law is sick..agar aisa hi tha to kyun yahan job ke liye interview diya haan? why? you could have stay at home..taking care of your mother-in-law!" Manik shouted at Nandini

Nandini: Sir ai-aisa nahi hai..woh I..

Manik: Aisa nahi hai to phir kaisa hai Mrs Kapoor? come on say it..and where's your husband haan? he could take care of his mom right?!

"Sir..please..!" Nandini said as tears brimmed in her eyes. Manik was behaving rude with her!

"What please haan? Mrs Kapoor if you're not comfortable with this job then leave!! Manik said, lifting his hand towards the door, indicating her to leave

"Manik relax yaar! Nandini tum aao mere saath..come." Both came out from Manik's cabin. Just then Manik banged his fist on his table.

Manik's pov

Damn!! why..why can't I control my anger!!

Her eyes! she was about to cry!! No Manik..you should not fall weak..yehi to chahti hai woh that you fall weak..but she's wrong..Manik Malhotra won't fall weak Nandini!!

"You'll stay till late today only and you have to get use to all of this because baad mein tumhai shayad aur bhi late ghar jaana padage afterall you're his P.A..you know right ek P.A ko apni boss ke saath rehna chahiye for business meetings and all..We have already discussed about it Nandini then why you're not staying for the meeting? Is it just because your mom is sick or there's another reason?" Barun wanted her to be comfortable

Kya Barun ko pata hai ke main..? No I don't think he knows about it..ufff Nandini forget this! I must stay with my kharoos boss! This is the only option. otherwise he'll throw you out of this job! aiyoo!!

"It's not like that Nandini..don't take me wrong yaar..I'm happy because ab Manik will not throw you out of this job..I know you deserve this job..you're perfect for it!"

"Okay baba..I was just kidding!"

"Haan okay and Manik dil ka boora nahi hai it's just that he's upset for some reason..! Maybe that's why he shouted at you! And you was about to cry also!"

"So is she staying or she's giving her resignation letter?" Manik said while sitting on his chair. He was busy checking something in his mobile.

"Yeah. Haan..wo...actually no! She left! she has already given her resignation letter..!" Barun gave a wrong answer. He wanted to see Manik's reaction

"What?! but how..!! I mean why..? Was I so rude to her?! how can she.." Manik freaked out. He never wanted Nandini to leave!

"Chill Manik..why it bothering you now? It's ok na, I'll find another P.A for you! what say should I start taking interview from tomorrow?" Barun teased him. Manik gave him a glare

Nandini: Barunnn!!! Tu mazak karna kab ban karega..stop this now I know she's staying! acha hai..maine to soch liya tha usse job se nikalne ka.."

Barun: Haan to nikal deta na..why were you waiting for her to say 'yes' huh?

Manik: Buddy..it's nothing like you're thinking okay!

Barun: No man..it is like I'm thinking!! jab maine kaha that she had given me her resignation..tere chehre pe saaf likha tha that you were not happy with it! you know Nandini right?! tu pehle se janta hai usse! Is she the one? tell me Manik..is she the one who..

Manik: I have loads of work right now Barun..we'll talk later okay!

"Mamma..please don't forget to take your medicines..aur main 10 baje tak aa jaoungi till then ap so jaana ok!" Nandini was concern for Koyal.

Koyal: Nandu..you know na, meds lene se mujhe bahut neend ati hai mujhe. If I'll fall asleep then when you will come home, who will open the door?

Nandini: Mamma.. maine ghar ke duplicate keys liye hai na..so don't worry..take your meds okay! bye.."

Koyal: Okay beta..take care!

After talking with Koyal, Nandini went on through some files just them a girl entered her cabin

"These files.. Manik sir ne mujhe apko yeh files dene ke liye kaha hai..you have to check it and give it back to him." She kept the files on her desk

"Yeah..okay." She resumed her work

"Okay Ma'am." She was about to go but Nandini stopped her. Did she just called her 'Ma'am?' But Nandini was just a P.A for Manik right!

Nandini: Wait! what did you just say? Ma'am??

"Yes..you're Manik sir personal secretary..so Ma'am.."

"No need to call me ma'am. You can call me Nandini..I won't mind.." She smiled at her

"But Manik sir will definitely mind!" She left mumbling this line. Nandini heard it.

"Huh? but why?? This Manik na..!!" Nandini shook her head and resumed her work

Nandini entered Manik's cabin without knocking! Oh, maybe she forgot the she was Manik's P.A not his girlfriend.
Manik was sitting on his chair. He looked at her with a glare

"Don't you know you should knock before entering my cabin?!" Once again, his stern voice made Nandini startled

"Okay, from now I'll first knock and come in your cabin..Sir." She was hurt but she had the guts to answer Manik back.

"No Mrs Kapoor, I want you now..abhi issi time karo.. 'knock!' Come on!!" Agrh! He was being rude. Angry young man!

Nandini frowned. He was ordering her! Manik raised his eyebrows

"What? Don't look at me like that ojay! Come on, go out..then knock my door. You'll ask my permission and if I say come in then only you'll come okay!" He always have his ways ugrh!😒

"What rubbish? no i won't go out again!" Nandini muttered angrily.

"Mrs Kapoor! Come on..hurry up!"

Nandini went out again..she was hell annoyed. She knocked not actually knocked but angrily banging at the door..! And Manik smirked, looking at this angry Nandu

"Can I come in sir?" This time Nandini's voice was stern.

"Yes, ofcourse. Come in!" Manik suppressed his laughter

"Sir..your files.." Nandini said in an angry tone while keeping them on his table then she turned to leave..

"Mrs Kapoor!" Manik called her standing from his chair. "Seems like you're angry about something!"

"No..I'm not!!" Nandini said still in an furious tone.

"Acha! you're not gussa?" Manik asked while taking slow steps towards Nandini.

"No sir i'm not gussa!" Nandini said. She forced a smile on her face to show Manik.

"You sure? you're not gussa?" Manik asked coming closer to her.

Nandini started stepping backwards..

"N-no..I'm..I'm no-not gussa..! Nandini replied as she felt Manik hands reaching towards her waist! She closed her eyes tightly
