NEXT DAY
Maya was fast asleep in her cozy bed when it is five in the morning. She was instructed to be at office by six but her sleep was not interested in allowing her to get up.

Her brother had gone to office for a meeting and her mother was in the kitchen preparing food. Nandini had decided to not call her daughter up like always as she wanted her to be a little more independent.

AFTER 10 MINUTES
Maya ran down the hall in a hurry and went to Nandini who was at the dining table eating breakfast.

Maya: Mom......

Nandini: Yes sweetheart......

Maya: Why didn't you wake me up?

Nandini: I think you should keep these questions aside and get ready for your work. You wouldn't want to be late.

Maya (murmuring): I wish you had got this thought earlier.

Nandini: What did you just say?

Maya: nothing mom.

Nandini: Then go get ready.

AFTER SOME TIME

It was ten minutes for 6 now and Maya was just out of the house. She was to run towards a car but stopped at her brothers call.

Shivaay: Get in the car Maya, I will drop you.

Maya: But bhai.....

Shivaay: You are getting late Maya. Only I can assure your safety when the car is on full speed.

Maya: Bhai.....

Shivaay: I know you don't want us to see where you work. I will drop you to the nearest junction and then you can walk off. You can trust me on that Maya.

Maya: Bhai I trust you more than anyone in this world.

Shivaay: Then get in the car my princess or else you will see an angry boss out there.

Maya ran into to the car and got seated. With this Shivaay drove.

AT A JUNCTION

Maya got down the car and stood in front of Shivaay window.

Maya: Bhai I have to leave now. It is already six. I might get screwed up but I will take care of myself like a grown up women.

Shivaay: Take care of yourself and if you face any problem then remember that I am just a call away. 

Maya kissed Shivaay cheek while he pecked her forehead. Now was the time for her to run. She ran through the pavement and the road, jumped through certain cars and glided through congested areas.

AT THE OFFICE
Maya ran up the stairs of the building but suddenly stopped. She had to pick up Manan's black coffee from the canteen. She ran down the flight of stairs and ran in into the canteen.

She noticed that no one was in the canteen so she had to sneak into the kitchen and make coffee herself. On finishing the hectic task with the help of the internet, she had a sip of it. On having a bit of it on her tongue she salt it out.

Maya: Yuck, I made it wrongly. He will kill me today. I am already late and now I spoilt the coffee. Now what.......

She was going to blabber more but stoped on hearing someone's voice. It was Sidharth and Sameer. Sidharth was the one to start the conversation.

Sidharth: Sup young lady, what are you doing here?

Maya: Coffee for sir.

Sameer: You needn't call Manan as sir in front of us. And when we say it, we mean it. Whenever you are in front of us you can call whatever you want other than sir. We know he is next level khadoos. And for the coffee I will give you one tip. The coffee will be as bitter as his sayings.

Maya smiled on hearing it.

Sidharth: I think your coffee is perfect now. Get going, he hasn't reached office yet. There is traffic in his path of road.

On hearing this, Maya ran up the stairs and pushed the door open. On seeing Manan's absence she sat down on the floor and crawled till the table to place the coffee cup on the table.

On accomplishing this task, she lied down on the floor and slept off. Now let's see what is happening with Manan.

AT THE MAIN STREET

The roads were completely blocked. The streets of India had once again returned to California. Manan was highly pissed on noticing such a scene.He had to reach early to the office so that he could get Maya in trouble but this didn't happen at all. He had even got out of his mansion an hour early yet it didn't work.

Soon the block had revived and he raced till the office without noticing what was in and around him. On reaching the premises, he threw his car keys to the watch man and ran up the stair of the building. On reaching his cabin door, he pushed it open.

MANAN'S OFFICE CABIN
As soon as he entered the cabin he saw a girl lying on the floor. He walked up to see the persons face and realized it was Maya. He understood that she was sleeping. He looked around and noticed the coffee cup lying on the table. He went up and picked it to have a sip of it. On drinking he realized that she did know to make a real good black coffee.

But he couldn't keep his ego to rest so he called up a peon and asked him to get two buckets of chilled water. The temperature of water was below zero degree celsius.

The peon was himself shivering while placing the buckets on the floor. He looked at Maya with a petty face and left the room.

Before he could pour the chilled bucket of water on her, he sent a message to all his employees that no one will help Maya in any way for the day. And if they do so, they will be terminated from the company and it will very hard for them to get a job.

When the message had reached all of them, Manan took the bucket and splashed on her entire body. Maya jerked up and stood. She looked around to get back her senses and soon she did revive back to her present.

He dress soon started sticking on her body and she started shivering. She looked at Manan and was to yell at him but stopped at his voice.

Manan: I come a few minutes late and you will decide to take a nap in my office. What do you think of yourself? Do I look like a fool to you? This is my office and once you are here you have to start working no matter what. Now this is your punishment for being late. You will work in my cabin today and you will step out of this room. Also you will not get any spare cloth to wear and no lunch or snack to eat. Do you get it.

Maya: You cannot force me to do whatever you like.

Manan: Oh yes I can. Didn't you read the terms and conditions in the agreement? It clearly states that you can't resign my office before 2 years or else you have to play 2 crore dollars to the company. Also, I set the rules over here and you will have to listen to me at all times within the working hours. Do you get that.

Maya nodded on this and sat on the sofa which was in the cabin and right under the air conditioner. She was shivering badly yet Manan don't even give a glance at her. Rather he smirked at his achievement.

Many entered the room and felt really bad on seeing Maya's condition. They wanted to help her but their bosses word was supreme to them.

LUNCH TIME
Manan called the Leon to his cabin.As soon as he reached, Manan started he order.

Manan: I want some tacos, a burger and soft drinks.

Peon: Yes sir.

He was about to leave the room but stopped on hearing Manan's voice.

Manan: And yah I want the AC to be more cooler so readies the temperature.

Maya glanced at Manan who too looked at her with a smirk. She pleaded him with her eyes yet he didn't listen to her. The peon did as he said.

Throughout the lunch Manan was eating slowly and in a tempting way so that she would feel more irritated. Maya was feeling so helpless. Her phone was on her table in her cabin. She was starving and also shivering very badly. She tried her best to hold herself tight and continue working for Manan.

BY 5 IN THE EVENING
Manan: Maya, I want you to get me these files that I have written in this sheet of paper from the store room at the basement.

Maya was really happy on hearing this. She good now get out of the room and ask someone's help for spare clothing and get warmth. But little did she know that she wasn't getting any help at all.

All the way to the store room Maya asked people for help but non helped her and ran away with some or the other excuse. She decided to come late to the cabin so that she could get some warmth from the basement region.

IN THE BASMENT
The entire area was completely dark yet the darkness didn't effect her task. She entered the room and switched on the light. She soon began searching the files. Little did she realize that the door of the room was slowly getting shut by someone. The room got completely shut and soon the AC was switched on with complete cooling.

Maya realized the cooling and speed her searching work. When she was done, she ran to the door to pull it. When the room was t opening she realized that she was stuck.

Soon she started feeling dizzy and fell to the ground. Manan was behind all this. He did all this to torture her a bit but he didn't realize that he was hurting the wrong person. He was also clueless about Maya fainting.

AFTER AN HOUR
IN MANIK's CABIN

PA: Sir the CCTV camera is all set for inspection. You can have a look at it.

Manik (smiling): Thank you dear. You can leave the room.

Manik started switching from one camera to another. Soon he reached the camera which was in the store room. On seeing Maya on the floor of the room, MANIK's blood dried and he ran for the basement.

IN MANAN's CABIN
Manan also wanted to see Maya's shivering state. But on seeing her lying on the floor and shivering very badly, Manan ran to the basement too.

AT THE BASMENT
Both father and son had reached the store together. They looked at each other and then at Maya. The two of them soon ran towards Maya and picked her up.

When they picked her up they realized that she was completely heated up and was shivering too. They took her to Manan's cabin as it was the closest one.

Now what will happen to Maya? Will Manik find about Manan's doings?
