At the dimming of the lights and the focusing of the main light towards the stage, everyone turned around. On the stage sat a man on a chair. His head was down and a cap had covered his face so that no one could see him. To increase the heat of the room, he had worn shades.

Only one wish was playing on Maya's lips that it wouldn't be Arjun, but of course God wanted to play with her. It was Arjun on the stage and he had stood there with a determination to win Nandini's heart.

Soon a tune played on the background and Arjun nodded his head according to the beats.

The song soon ended and was received with complete joy. When Maya thought that everything was over and Nandini would believe that they were dating, Arjun placed a bomb right in front of her (Maya).

As Maya was moving towards the end of the stage, Arjun pulled her back. Maya looked at him in confusion and he smiled.

Arjun: I really didn't know that angels could fly so low. Snice the time I have seen you Maya, my friends call be drunk but they don't know that I am intoxicated by you. You are the reason why men fall in love. Till now I thought that the women I saw were beautiful but I was wrong. You make other women look bad. You have changed this player into a lover and the only thing I want to change about you is your last name. If nothing last forever will you be my nothing?

With this Arjun kneeled down and stretched out his right hand holding a ring. Everyone screamed and applauded on hearing Arjun's proposal. Maya was utterly shocked and she knew that within the next second she would faint.

Everyone was screaming and telling Maya to say yes. She scanned for her family in the room. She looked at Shivaay who said no and then at Anika who smiled and gestured her to say a yes. She looked at Nandini who smiled at her while when she looked at Manan, only anger was pouring out of his eyes. At last her eyes landed on Manik, He smiled at her and nodded a yes.

Some force had suddenly driven into her body. She looked at Arjun and said....

Maya: Yes.....

Maya stretched out her hands and Arjun placed the ring on her left ring finger. He stood up and pulled Maya to his side and announced.

Arjun: So guys we are officially engaged and further programs will commence....

Maya (looking at Arjun): After 3 to 4 months. Since only then we have a good time for our marriage so the functions will also be at that time.

Arjun (looking at Maya): Even if time stop, I will wait for that day with equal passion.

Something at struck in Maya's heart. His words would have be cheesy yet it had the power to melt her to some extent. She soon composed herself and smirked at Shivaay who was now worried.

Maya: By the way guys, today is not just the day for the two of us but it is also a special day for my Brother Shivaay and my sister Anika. They too love each other and today in front of you they will also get engaged. So I request bhai to come up the stage with Ani di.

Shivaay glared at Maya while she smirked. He soon climbed the stage with Anika. The two of them came and stood face to face.

Shivaay: I might only be to express my feeling for your today, Anika as we don't have any rings to fix tis bond today.

Maya: Oh don't worry about that Bhai, we might be having a ring somewhere here.

Arjun: Yah I saw one, let me go and get it.

Shivaay was cursing Arjun for the trap he had set up for his sister and himself. He looked at Anika and she looked back at him with equal shock. Soon Arjun came back and gave the ring to Shivaay and Anika individually.

Shivaay and Anika looked at each other and shared their emotions through their eyes. Soon Maya knocked on Shivaay's shoulder so that he places the ring on Anika's finger and she does the same for his too. Shivaay held her hand and spoke.

Shivaay (with intensity): For a moment I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Now I see that I am very much alive, and heaven has been brought to me.I don't know what I ever did in my previous life that I got you today. I might be very rude outside but I am sure you know me from inside. You have made my life completely different and I am glad that you did that. You have taught me many things and I am still learning more. Will you be my wife???

Anika (looking at his eyes): Yes....

He placed the ring across her finger while she looked at him with something as bright as love in her eyes. She soon held his hand and did the same. Everyone clapped their hands at this.

Maya: So guys, there will be two weddings that would be happening soon and each one of you will be invited for the same. Have a great night guys and thank you so much for attending this function.

With this Maya pulled Arjun along with her and entered the nearest room. As soon as she entered the room, she pushed him across the room.

Maya (angrily): What the hell is wrong with you? Who the hell told you to go and announce about our date?

Arjun (innocently): I did that so that our relationship looked realistic infront of your mother.

Maya: Now you will teach me what is realistic or not. I can convince my mother.

Soon Shivaay entered the room with Anika and ran to pull Arjun's collar.

Shivaay (angrily): Who the hell told you to go and announce about your relationship with Maya? What was going on your head? You thought by doing so no one would stop you from getting married to Maya? I can stop anything and everything in this world.

It was Anika who pushed the two boys away.

Anika: Will the two of you stop it. Both brother and sister are the same. None of you can use your brains. What Arjun did would have crossed some limits but it did benefit us indirectly. Now no one could doubt on us. And if you still are going to pounce on him for this then I would like to tell you that it would be useless. You punching his face wouldn't change anything now. So think practically and move with the flow. Once everything is settled, we will disclose our fake relationship to everyone. Okay?

Maya: You are right. I will go with the flow.

Shivaay: Like seriously Maya? You really think what she is saying is true.

Arjun: Think about it in this way....

Shivaay: You don't even talk to me after what you have done. You backfired Maya's plan.

Anika: It does make sence until unless you have a better solution for this and I am sure you don't have one other than hurting Arjun physically.

Maya: What she is saying is true. Let's chuck it.

And then they heard the shattering of a glass and turned around. At the door stood a man with a face red with anger.
