Maya parked the car in the parking spot and got off along with both Manik and Manan.

Manik: I am quite impressed with your driving skills. You are fast but not rash. You are a hundred times better than my son.

Manan: Dad....

Manik: Who taught you driving?

Maya: My brother. If I need to learn anything new, he is always there for me. He loves teaching me things which are helpful. You see people don't forget life lessons at all.

Manik: That's true..... I am sure you are the princess of your brother.

Maya: Not just for bhai but for mom too. She thinks I am too grown up for my age yet I act a child in front of her.

Manik: You should do that. I bet it cheers her up all the time.

Maya: That's true...

Manan (irrigated): If the two of you are done gossiping can we please get going. We have to welcome Mr. Advay Singh Raizada. He is no joke and you know that very well dad.

Manik: I know that and stop babying me.

Manan: You are acting like one.

Maya: Will the two of you stop it and let's move on.....

AT THE CONFERENCE ROOM

Manan: Thank god.... We have reached the room way before him.

Maya: And thanks to me that this has happened.

Manan: No thanks at all. Because of you we had to directly come to this room. I wanted to have my black coffee.

Manik: What black coffee always? Have you ever tasted the coffee he has, Maya? It is the last think that I would ever want in my life.

Manan: Take back your words dad cause that's not the last think you ever want?

Maya: Then what is the last think you want uncle?

Manan: His ex-wife....

Maya: Your ex-wife??!!

Manan: Don't act. I had already told you about her.

Maya: No you didn't. I thought that your mother had passed away and that's why you were angry.

Manan: That doesn't make any sense.

Maya: Then you don't know those kind of people. Uncle, I am really sorry.

Manik: You needn't be sorry beta. I have gotten used to it. It's nothing new to me.

Unknown: What's not new to you?

Manik and Manan turn around to get shocked on seeing MR. ADVAY SINGH RAIZADA. Maya was a little surprised with the man's interruption but chuckled. She bent over Manan to ask him who the man was.

Maya (questioning): Who is he?

Manan: You idiot.... IT's MR. ADVAY SINGH RAIZADA....

Maya (Looking at the man and smiling): Oh Hi Sir, come have a seat. It is really wonderful to meet you.

Advay: Hmmm.... Never seen you around but I must say that MNM Industries are recruiting better staffs now. Atleast they have the curtesy to wish the guest or clients that enter the premises.

Maya: I am sorry to interrupt you sir but I want to make a very tiny change in your words. This company has been recruiting the best staffs in the world and it can be witnessed in their performance. If they weren't that good, you wouldn't have been here in the first place.

Advay: I am quite impressed.

Maya: You should be sir. If are impressed there in no use of wasting your precious time to discuss the project with us.

Advay: You are right dear. I really look forward of your performance in this project.

Maya: You will see that sir. By the way you should have a seat. You shouldn't waste you energy which you can use elsewhere.

Advay: You are right.

Advay takes a seat on the center of the conference table. In that short time she glanced at Manik and Manan to give them assurance with her eyes that nothing would go wrong.

Advay: Anyways your partners will join you in a few minutes.

The man standing at the door: Make it now sir.

Everyone turned around to witness the people at the door and get shocked.

Maya was the first one to react but her reaction was unknown to Manik and Manan.

Maya (whispers slightly): Mom? Bhai??!!

But her shock wasn't anything small but a disaster that she was really unknown off until Manik and Manan yelled.

Manan (yelling in anger): Mom??!!

Manik (with equal anger): Nandini??!!

Nandini (Shocked): Manik??!!

Shivaay (Shocked): Our rivals??!!

Maya felt like to faint in hearing so much in such a short notice. She was to slip off but Manan held her by the shoulders to support which drilled anger in Shivaay's veins. Manan made her sit on the chair and that was when Nandini had noticed her daughter in the room.

Nandini: Who is she to you? Why is she here?

Manik (angrily): She is my son Manan's assistant. My son's lady.

Shivaay (laughing): Ha Ha ha..... You are so dumb Maya..... I thought when you left the job at my office you wouldn't even turn back at the business field. But you turned the tables by joining my rival team.

Manan (angrily): And now she will rise up like no one else. She will be the pride of this company.

Nandini had tears in her eyes. She had seen her prince after such a long time. Her son was still the possessive person and he was possessive for his sister that he never knew. She was feeling proud that he hadn't forgotten to be the shield of his loved ones. And seeing Manik after so long, words weren't enough to describe her joy and pain at the same time.

Maya who was all new to this had only one question in her head. How are they related?

Advay: Can we keep personal matters aside and start are meeting?

Manan: We aren't going to do this project with them.

Shivaay: As if we are delighted to do the same.

Advay: You will have to do or none will get this deal. I will get the best outcome when the two of you do this project together. Otherwise I have to hire other teams.

Nandini: You needn't do that sir. We are ready to compromise.

Manik: Me too. This project is important to us and we really don't care if personal issue come along with it.

Both Manik and Nandini looked at each other after saying this. They did have a lot of problems but their son's growth was most important to them and for that they were ready to keep aside the problems they had.

Advay: Then let's start the discussion.

The meeting went for 2 hours. Advay was impressed with their determination and ideas. He asked them to start the project as soon as possible.

Nandini: Sir, I wanted to invite you to a party at my mansion today. And I want everyone in this room to come.

Advay: Sure, why not. It will be a good way to communicate. I want Manik and his family to come there too.

Manik: Sure sir. We will be there tonight. Kindly give the address at the reception.

Advay: And you can message me.

Nandini: Sure sir....

With this Advay left the room.Manan, Manik and Maya stood up as well as Shivaay and Nandini. Manan moved towards Shivaay and stood right infront of him.

Manan (a sarcastic laugh): I really don't know how you are related to this lady. Maybe another affair.

Shivaay (angrily): Mind your language mister. She might be none to you but she is everything thing to me and will always be the same no matter what I see and what I hear from others. No one can change my judgment of my mother.

Maya had her fist tightened to punch Manan right on his face but Nandini's glare to keep cool had got her under control.

Manan: You will be soon proved wrong. Anyways tell your team to be efficient as this project is very important to us.

Shivaay: Not a single word against my team. When you don't know someone you cannot judge them. My team is efficient and I believe that with your temper even your team will be efficient. Staffs are always scared of angry bosses.

Manan (angrily): You.....

Nandini: Shivaay...

Manik: Manan...

Both Manik and Nandini looked at each other. They did have differences but they didn't want their children to fight over it and spoil something very important.

Manik (looking away): It would be better if you would take your son along with you now itself.

Nandini nodded her head and left the room while pulling Shivaay along with her.
