MURTHY MANSION

Nandini was running around the house holding things in her hands. Anika who had just entered the mansion had noticed this and ran up to the lady to help her.

Anika: Aunty aap aise kyun bhag rahi hai?

Maya (Running down the stairs): It's her usual to run around. If she doesn't run then this world will end for her. By the way who are you?

Nandini: She is our party organizer and designer. Her name is Anika.

Maya (smiling): Well nice to meet you Anika.

Anika (smiling back): Pleasure is all mine.

Nandini: By the way what brings you here so early?

Maya: I have to go a little early today.

Shivaay (walking up to Maya and standing beside her): Or is it something else.

Maya: Nothing else bhai.

Shivaay: Don't even think about it again. Tell me why you are going to office so early. These days you ae lying a lot to us.

Maya: Okay fine.... I had to drop off my boss home yesterday and since it is his car that I returned with so I have to go and pick him up. Also I can't delay as we have a big meeting scheduled today. Is that enough?

Shivaay: Then get running. By the way even I and mom are attending a meeting so we will also be leaving soon.

Nandini: And Anika will be staying here so that she can get our home ready for tonight's event. I hope you will be early for it baby.

Maya: You think I will miss it?

With this Maya kissed her mom cheek and Shivaay kissed her forehead. And that's how she left for the Malhotra Mansion.

Shivaay: And for your kind information mom, I really don't agree leaving this pesky creature handling our home alone. She will take all our valuable things away.

Anika: Ayee...

Nandini (looking at Shivaay angrily): Tu chup kar. I know she will not do anything like that. I trust her.

Shivaay: Fine then....chalo we are getting late.

Nandini (smiling at Anika): Apna khayal rakhna and keep the house perfect for tonight.

Anika: Aapko bholne ki koyi zaroorat nahi hai.

With this Both Nandini and Shivaay left the mansion.

AT MALHOTRA MANSION

Manan was walking up and down the main door of the house. Manik who was done reading his book had come out to get shocked at his son's behavior. Manan was a man who would wake up on time, do the needful things at home and leave instantly for work. But today it was totally different.

Manik: Manan, what are you doing over there.

Manan: Woh...

Manik: Woh kya??

Manan: ermm...

Manik: Aren't you getting late for work. Don't you know that we have a really important meeting with a client and we really can't miss it? Or development depends on the acceptance of this project. Maya?

Manan (shocked): Maya??

Manan turned around to look at the door and found Maya entering the mansion and smiling at his dad. She walked past him without even giving a single glance and stood infront of Manik. She then bent down and touched Manik's feet.

Manik (pulling her up): Aree bacha, mere pair chukar mujhe budha mat banao. Aaj bhi log mujhe dekh kar mujhe Manan ka bhai lekar pukar ta hai.

Manan: Ohho papa.... Zyada natak mat karo.... Kal hi toh who aadmi ne aapko uncle dada lekar pukar raha tha.

Manik: Manan.....

Maya (Smiling): Okay okay... stop fighting like kids. I will behave appropriately.

Manik: Then tell me what brings you here?

Maya (grumpily): Why? Can't I come here to see you uncle?

Manik: Aisa nahi hai baccha... you can come whenever you want. This house is always open for you.

Manan (irritated): Natak mat karo Maya. Just say that you have come here to pick me up.

Manik (shocked): Pick you up? Jo aadmi kisi ko bhi upne liye car chalane nahi deta who aaj ek ladki ke sat uske car me jaraha hai?

Manan: Kisi aur ka car me nahi upne car me. She had dropped me here yesterday with my car and today she is picking me up for office.

Manik (laughing): Maya, I know you are a wonderful girl but I really didn't know that you are a magician. Anyways get going with him. We can't miss the meeting today. I will catch you guys at office.

Maya: No.... you will be coming with us.

Manan: Yah she is right you should come....

Manik: Par...    

Manan: Par var kuch nahi....

Maya: who toh bohut purani dialogue hai. Aaj kal toh log conservation ki baatein karte hai so let's talk about that. If you come with us right now less fuel consumption will happen plus time will also be saved.

Manik (smiling): Fuel consumption and all han.... Then tho I will definitely come.

Manan (grumpily): Dad....

Manik: accha baba.... Don't get sad. I am also coming because of your purani dialogue. Waise bhi old is gold.

Maya: Yup that's right. So shall we get going?

Manik: definitely....

And that's how the three M's left the Malhotra Mansion...... But they were unknown of what destiny had set for them in the next few hours. To know that stay tuned for the chapter.
