Writer's POV
It was a usual Sunday...well as usual as it can get as it was Nandini and Niru's day out as planned and on Niru's insistence they had decided to include Manik.But Manik was a little hesitant as he didn't want to intrude on their time together so he decided to join them for dinner.

It had already been few weeks to the concert.Manik and Nandini had met a couple of times after that.Nandini had given her resignation and was continuing with her own fashion house.

"You guys are starting to get very secretive ha,kyu Nalini?"Rajan said keeping his newspaper aside as the breakfast was served.

"I agree with you."Nalini said and she was suspecting something brewing between the brother sister as she had caught both of them whispering in hushed tones when no one watched or how he would tease her and the ever so bold Nandini blushed.

"Nothing like that we are just discussing about the fashion house."Nandini covered up while Niru passed her a sly smile.

"That reminds me."He kept is spoon down and spoke. "You know Mr.Ahuja right?"He asked looking at his wife who nodded. "He has a massive production of cloth.I was talking to him about your start up and he happened to be interested in partnering with you."Nandini smiled gratefully at her dad.

"Where are you guys going today?"Nalini asked them.

"Good try maa lekin you know we never tell you."Nandini smiled at her bad face.

"Kitne nalayak ho gaye ho dono.You guys never spend time with us."She dramatically said making the trio chuckle.

"Maa I wanna talk with both of you anyways regarding something.So kal aap please jaldi aa paoge?"She asked.She and Manik had spoken about talking to her parents.She was guilty of hiding such a big thing from her family for such a long time.

"Kya hua bacche?Anything serious?"Rajan asked looking at her face.

"Kind off but nothing to be worried about."She assured them. "You guys enjoy your time alone.Hum raat ko aaenge,okay?"She winked and they both nodded getting her meaning.

"Bye mom bye dad."They both said and ran.

"So where should we go?"Nandini asked as they got out of the lift and entered the parking lot.

"I wanna go shopping first and then lunch.We can go for a movie later and then for dinner."He narrated the list.

"Wow you are prepared."She exclaimed. "Shopping it is then."She agreed.

They decided to go to a mall so that it would be easier for lunch and they could watch a movie there itself.

"What do you wanna buy?"Nandini asked.

"Not decided."He shrugged typing away on his phone.

"No phones for the day Mr."She snatched his phone from his hand.

"Diii one message."He pleaded and she gave in.The Murthy siblings were pretty good at puppy dog faces.

They parked their car at the mall and roamed around for a bit.Niru shopped quite a bit as Nandini was going to shoulder the bills.

"Niru you are going to make me bankrupt."Nandini teased.

"Oh trust me.You are going to be anything but bankrupt."He said making Nandini giggle. "You don't wanna shop?"He asked.

"No no."She shook her head.

"Oh come on."He dragged her to the women's section.

He made her select and try a few clothes on and Nandini ended up buying a dress,jeans and a couple of tops.

"Niru I think we'll go for lunch."Nandini said as her stomach rumbled. "I am very hungry."She mumbled to herself.

They both set foot in a nearby cafe and got settled.It was a cute cafe and it wasn't crowded so they could sit and chill for a longer time.

"So?"Niru started after they had placed their order.

"So?"Nandini asked trying to hide her smile.

"Drop your act yaar."He whined. "I want to know everything."He ordered.

"Accha what you want to know?"Nandini asked not irritating him more.

"Everything.Accha tell me how did you drink that day.I mean you never drink when I am around saying 'I have to take care of you' toh uss din kya hua?"He mimicked making Nandini chuckle,

"Its not like I have never been drunk in front of them.In fact I had my first drink with them."Nandini said shocking him.

Flashback
Writers POV
"Wow!!I am sooo excitedddd."A 20 year old Nandini jumped after checking her bag for what felt like the 100th time.

"Nandu,calm down bacche."Nalini made her sit on the bed. "Take care of yourself.Keep calling me.Stay with your friends kahi jaana nahi akele,okay?"Though she nodded in a yes her mind was stuck somewhere else.

It was the first time that her college had organised for a trip to Manali for 10 days.It was the first time that she would be travelling alone that too with friends.Also it would be for the first time that she and Manik her boyfriend would be alone for 10 days.You could imagine.

"Ha mom,don't worry.I'll take care of myself."She assured her when her mom shook her of her thoughts.

Present

"Woah diii."Niru exclaimed completely in shock while Nandini just laughed.Nandini had paused in between as the waiter came with their food. "Continueee."Niru said excited now.Nandini thanked the waiter and glared at Niru.

"Gosh hold your horses bata rahi hoon."She said. "Me and Manik had recently started dating and never had any of us travelled alone so it was pretty exciting.Others already had tried alcohol it was just me who was left.We were instructed by all our teachers no alcohol,drugs but Fab5 were rebels so they anyways got it."She paused to take a bite of her chicken salad. "I still remember it was our first night there and it was the DJ night."Nandini giggled.

Flashback
"So guys the teachers are sleeping and others are busy dancing."Cabir said after checking.

The boys bolted the door while the girls sat on the floor letting the boys do what they are best at.

"Manik yaar jaldi karna."Mukti yelled.

"Dude hum roj nahi peete."Dhruv rolled his eyes.They got the alcohol bottles out with a couple of glasses.The poured wine in all glasses and gave to the girls and sat down.

They all downed the glasses in one go.Nandini scrunched her noses giving to the foreign taste in her mouth but forwarded her glass for the next one.

They all had a couple of glasses.Nandini,Mukti,Alya,Cabir and Navya were completely out of it while Dhruv and Manik were a little sane.

"Woooohooo letsss paratayyyyy."Nandini screamed making the others giggle while Dhruv and Manik slapped their foreheads.

"Nandini you have to stay quiet."Manik calmly explained.

"Shhhhhh."She mimicked him. "Everyone do thishh."The rest acted her out and then started laughing.Within a blink of an eyes Nandini ran away from the room

"Shit!"They both looked at each other with wide eyes. "Dhruv I'll go look for her.I'll lock the door from outside so that these people don't run."Manik locked the door and ran behind Nandini.

"Nandiniii."He yelled but she picked up speed.

She had reached the hall where the DJ was held.The room was dark and so Manik couldn't see her.After about 10-15 minutes he found her dancing to 'Tune mari entriyan'making him chuckle.

People looked at her weirdly as she would trip over her own legs now and then but they shrugged. "Nandini lets go."He pulled her with him.

"What nooooooo."She whined. "Come on you dance with me."She pouted and as if on cue a slow song started playing making the others groan.

The couples were dancing while Manik pulled Nandini to dance with him.She was standing extremely close to Manik and in no time his patience would thin and he would do something he didn't want to.

"Baby I think we've danced enough lets go."He pulled her but she stood intact. "Lets go pleasee."He pleaded but she still shook her head.

'Drunk Nandini wasn't easy to handle'Manik concluded.

"What do you wanna do?"He asked defeated.

"Lets talk."She dragged him out of the hall and into one of the couches placed on the first floor.

"Yeh ladki apne senses mein nahi hai and she wants to talk."He mumbled to himself shaking his head but he couldn't help but smile at how cute and adorable she looked.

Suddenly she gasped making him worried. "Kya hua?"

"I see a spiderman there."She pointed on the ceiling.Manik looked at the ceiling to find nothing not even a spider.

"There is nothing baba."He said.

"Nahi...hai.I can see it."She said firmly.

"Accha okay it is there."He gave in not wanting to argue with her on such a trivial matter.

"Aee why are you looking at me.Go from here."She shouted making him startle. "Go away."She said only to realise that she was talking to her spiderman.

"Kya hua?"Manik asked.

"He is just staring at me.Just tell him usko aana hai toh aaye warna leave."She declared making Manik scratch his forehead.

"Hey you."He looked unsure but still proceeded. "If you want to come in..Come otherwise leave."He looked at her and she nodded.

Manik sat besides her tired.It was a task to handle her. "I really like you."She slurred.

"Good cause I like you too."He pressed his lips to her temple making her sigh.Manik smiled at that.

"Manik you were such an ass...asshole to me before,why?"She looked at him just like the kid who demand an answer.

"I don't know.Now you are going to keep quiet and sleep."He said as her eyes were droopy with sleep.

She hummed and in no time slept making him sigh in relief.

Present
"Spiderman!Seriously?"Niru laughed loudly attracting a little attention.

"Ha that was my first time."Nandini pouted with blush adorning her cheeks.

"Dii you guys are soo cute man."He said making her smile.

"What about you.Do you have any girlfriend?"Nandini asked casually.

"Yeh ladkiya mere se handle nahi hoti.They are such a pain man."He answered only to earn a glare from Nandini. "What I meant is abhitak koi mili nahi hai."

"Better."She said.

The rest of the afternoon passed in a jiffy with them roaming a bit more and then watching a movie.

"The movie was great wasn't it?"Nandini questioned as soon as they got out of the theatre.

"Yess agreed."He said.

It was 7 by the time the movie ended.They were supposed to meet Manik at JW Marriott for dinner as going anywhere else would increase the chances of them being papped.

It was a Sunday evening and the roads were busy as it was an ideal day for hangouts. Nandini drove through the busy streets of Mumbai and reached Juhu.

She gave her keys to the valet and they both entered the hotel.Manik had booked a private space for them.She told the manager his name and she was ushered towards their booth.

Manik was on a call when they entered.He gestured both of them to sit while he finished.

"I'll let you know in a day or two."He said. "Bye."He kept his phone away and smiled.
"Sorry for that."He apologised. "Kya kiya aaj?"He asked.

"We shopped and watched a movie."Niru said simply smiling back at him. "And dii told me her drunken experience."He started laughing and Manik joined in knowing what he was talking about.

"You guys are soo badd."Nandini whined making both of them chuckle.

"Seriously though your dii is very difficult to handle."Manik said and earned a slap on his hand.

"You know Niru he was such an ass to me."Nandini started earning a glare from Manik.Niranjan was just looking at them in amusement.

"You guys fight like an old couple."He said and they laughed. "Accha dii what were you saying?"He asked.

"Before you continue lets order."Manik said and they ordered for their food and then continued talking.

"So if you didn't know me and Manik hated each other in the start.More like Manik hated me without a reason."Nandini started.

"Oh shut up,you were no less."Manik cut her off.

"Accha Niru I'll tell you what he did."Nandini said and Manik laughed.

Flashback
"Its all because of you."Nandini yelled at Manik.

Manik and Nandini though not in the same class had managed to get in trouble all because of Manik.

Manik had bunked his classes and Nandini was in class when she saw Manik asking her to come out.Initially she disagreed but a message from him citing 'Come out or else I'll come in' and she was on her feet to go out with the reason of going to the washroom.

"What the hell?" She shouted at him. "Mujhe kyu bulaya yaha?"She asked.

"Aise hi."He shrugged biting his lips.

"What do you mean aise hi.Tum velle honge I have a class to attend."She said and started to make her way towards her class.

"Nandini come on yaar,Mukti is waiting for you.Usne bola tumhe bulane isiliye mein aaya."In their shouting spree they didn't notice they had gathered attention not only from the passing students but also from teachers.

"Nandini Murthy,I think you were in the washroom?"Nandini's professor came out hearing the chaos.

Nandini glared at Manik and then turned towards her professor. "Sorry ma'am."She apologised.

"I didn't expect this from you."She shook her head in disappointment. "Manik Malhotra and you Nandini follow me."She walked ahead and they both followed still bickering.

"This is all because of you."Nandini gritted.

"Yeh Multi bhi na.Phasa diya mujhe bhi."He murmured.

"I heard you."Nandini said.

"Good for you."He shrugged.

"Before I come in I want this clean."She entered the store room and showed them.The store room wasn't that dirty but it had a lot of stuff and it was thrown just like that.

"This is not allowed."Manik smirked.

"I know this isn't allowed but if I take you to the principal you will get away with it."She smirked back wiping the smug smile of Manik's face.He glared at the teacher.

"Don't give me that look.I'll be back in an hour.I want this clean."She left passing one last glare to both of them.

"Fuck."Manik swore rubbing his hands on his face.

"Hello Mr. you don't get to swear.I am in this mess because of you."She said. "Get to work.Lets get this done asap."She said and started shifting a bit of the files on the table.They were working for about 45 minutes and were pretty much done with it.The room looked much cleaner and a little more spacious.

"Nandini you are scared of spiders right?"Manik asked and Nandini nodded turning to look at him and the next second she screamed going away from Manik hitting the wall in the process.

Manik was holding a spider in his hand and was nearing Nandini while she tried to back away but there was a wall.

"Manik pl.please,go away."She hissed.She tried to mask her fear with anger.Key word being tried.

Manik didn't pay any heed to her words and neared her.Nandini closed her eyes in fear.

She opened her eyes after sometime only to see Manik shifting the furniture like nothing happened.

"Wh.where is the spider?"She asked.

"Oh your head."He shrugged and she screamed dancing trying to get rid of the spider.

Present
Niranjan widened his eyes but the next second he burst out laughing giving a hi-fi to Manik.

"What happened after that?"He asked.

"The professor had to come at the exact same time when she was dancing and she was sooo angry lekin bechari she couldn't even do anything."Manik laughed and Nandini joined in.

"You guys are crazzy."He said and they couldn't agree more.

They spoke for a long time sharing their stories and Niru sharing his college stories.The whole day was very relaxing and chill for them.

"Byee jiju."Niru said catching Manik off guard with the name but he liked it.

"Bye champ."He hugged him.

"You go sit in the car I'll come."Nandini said and Niru passed a teasing smile at her to which she rolled her eyes.

"Byee."Manik hugged her lightly as they were outside.

"I am going to tell mom and dad about us."She said and he nodded.

"Let me know how it goes."Nandini nodded. "Text when you reach."He said and she nodded.

"You too."She said and hot into her car.
