Manik walked in Nandini's room to wake her up.It was 8 in the morning and Manik had very convincingly lied about how he wanted to wake Nandini up so how everyone can spend time with her.Their parents agreed teasing him a bit on how he was sweet and wanted to wake his fiancée but his friends knew otherwise.

"Kya bhai?Kya karne ka plan hai?"Cabir narrowed his eyes trying to read him but Manik shrugged.

"Kuch nahi.Kal late ho gaya tha.So I thought aaj utha deta hoon."He shrugged. "Aana hai teko?"Manik questioned.He knew he had to answer.If he dodged the question Cabir would know.

"Nahi bhai.We don't want to thirdwheel."Dhruv teased and Manik gave him a shy smile and left.

He grinned to himself as he unlocked her room with the spare key her mother gave him and went in.

He tip toed and reached the edge of the bed.She looked cute,he had to admit.The cascade of her hair was lying mercilessly on the pillow.Her mouth was open a little and Manik laughed to himself when he saw a little drool on her chin. "Such a baby."He wiped it making sure not to wake her up.He admired her but he shook himself. "No Manik focus."

He looked at the watch and he sighed in relief knowing he had a good time before she woke up.He made a call and asked the person to get the required item.He sat on the chair as noiselessly as possible and waited for the faint knock.

As soon as the knock was heard he jumped up on his feet and collected the thing.Thanking the person he shut the door and walked back to the bed.

He roamed his finger on her face a little.She groaned and swatted his hands away and the next second shrieked. "What the fuck?''

Manik burst out into laughter looking at her face filled with whipped cream.Nandini threw daggers at his laughing figure. "Not funny Manik."She huffed.

"It is Nandini.Look at you."He pointed at her face and again laughed.

"Pyaar se toh utha nahi sakte kabhi."She twisted her lips and Manik smirked.

"Accha toh tumhe pyaar se uthau?"He questioned walking towards her and she nodded looking at the mirror.She grimaced looking at her face.She already looked like a mess but then the cream just added cherry on the cake.

She gasped when she found Manik close to her face.Was she that lost?She thought. "Ma-Manik."She fumbled nervously.

"Hmm."He hummed leaning closer to her making her lie on the bed.

She inched closer to her lips and she palmed her mouth. "No unhygienic kisses Manik."He frowned hearing her but dived in the valley of her neck licking the cream as it rolled down her face. "Ma-nik."She moaned making him smile.He continued his sweet torchers making her writhe below him. "We-we're getting la-late."She whispered pulling his locks.

He dropped on the bed besides her pulling her close to him. "Good morning."He wished making her grin.

"The best morning."She stated kissing his cheek. "Chalo leave me now.I have to freshen up."Nandini said after a few minutes.

"No naaa."Manik whined pouting and Nandini giggled.

"Manik late ho raha hai."She stated and he nodded giving up knowing she won't listen.

He got up and walked towards the door. "Manik."She called him.

"Ab kya hai?"He asked and frowned looking at her all nervous. "Kya hua?"He eyed her suspiciously but before he could understand anything Nandini slammed her hand on his hair transferring the whipped cream in his head.

She pushed him out laughing but Manik was quick to stop her and pushed her in entering after her. "Mujhse chalaki."Manik stated twisting her hands behind her back.

"Manik chodo na please."She pleaded looking at him sideways.

"You should have thought all this before.Ab koi nahi bacha sakta tumhe mujhse."He laughed evilly and Nandini made a bad face.

"Manik aisa you'll do?"She pouted and Manik's eyes softened looking at her puppy dog face.He loosened the grip on her hands but didn't leave her.

"What will I get in return?"He questioned trapping her between the wall.

"Apni hone wali beewi ke saath sauda kar rahe ho?"She made a bad face hoping she could get out of it with her drama.

"Uh huh not happening."He tched.He had a upper hand and he wasn't going to leave a chance.

"Accha fine.Kya chahiye tumhe?"She looked up at him.

"Aaj sangeet hai.Do something for me."He stated rolling his tongue.He knew she was too shy in front if her family.She could be bold in front of him but she couldn't do anything when both their families were present.

"Whatt!?"She looked at him in horror. "Manik I will do something for you but family ke saamne nahi na."She pleaded and he shook his head.

"Not happening baby."He pecked her nose and walked away leaving Nandini in her dilemma.

It was 11 inthe morning.They had no functions in the morning and so it was a late breakfast.Nandini had reached earlier than Manik knowing he would take time scrubbing that whipped cream out of his hair.Crazy Malhotra!

"Hahaha very funny."Niru mocked Nandini earning a smack on his head.

"Show some respect badi hoon tujhse."Nandini glared at him and he just faked a smile.

"Why are you both fighting though?"Niraj questioned balancing his daughter on his lap looking between the brother and sister.

"Ask her pata nahi subah se ghure jaa rahi hai like I have murdered someone."Niraj stated making Nandini gasp.

"Mein kuch ghur nahi rahi thi.You must be hallucinating."Nandini shrugged and continued eating her breakfast more like stuffing it in her mouth in irritation.First Manik woke her up in the most loveliest way possible and then Niru had to bring this topic up.Urghhh!

"Shhhh chup raho tum dono."Cabir palmed both of their mouths earning glares from them which they royally ignored. "Nandu pehle tu bata kya hua hai?"

"Asshole."She whacked Cabir hard for palming her mouth and then continued. "When were you going to tell me that you liked Shanaya."She blatantly asked in front of everyone narrowing her eyes at her little no slash that a brother  who was big enough to get in a relationship without telling his sister.

"Wait what?"Kiara shouted looking at me and I nodded.

"What the hell?"Abhimanyu asked laughing not expecting that.

"Diiiiii."Niru and Shanaya simultaneously shouted to their respective sisters.

"Aap chup nahi reh sakte?Aur aapko bataya kisne?"He asked folding his hands and Nandini shrugged.

"Good morning guys.Kya chal raha hai subah subah?"Manik walked in and sat besides Nandini looking at everyone. "Kya hua?"He looked at Nandini his eyes dancing from her to the others trying to figure out.

"Jiju I think it was supposed to be our secret?"

"Bhai it was supposed to be our secret?"

Niru and Shanaya shouted at him and he looked at them. "I didn't tell any."He stopped when they glared at him. "Nandiniii."He whined.

"He is my brother I wanted to know."She cutely confessed cringing her eyes.

"You wanted to know lekin usme apne pati ki lagadi na?"He glared at her and she laughed.

"Bhai yaar."Shanaya whined throwing a tissue at him which he threw back at her.

"What bhai?Tu mere se baat kar bhai ki behen.Whats going on?"Kiara questioned. "Wait a minute are you guys dating and we have no clue?"She shouted standing up.

"I thought I was like your brother Shanaya."Vihaan sighed shaking his head.

"God guys kitne draame baaz ho.Chill we've literally just met each other.We only like each other.We aren't dating."Niru cleared.

"Aww my brother is in loveee."Nandini sang making a pouty face squishing his cheeks.

"Diiii yaaar."He swatted her hands away in annoyance while his ears turned pink.

"Agar kuch ho toh you you can.."Kiara trailed shrugging.

"You guys are impossible."Shanaya said in disbelief. "Niru chal."She said and they both walked away.

The group looked at each other and laughed.Weddings were sure fun.Ek ka ghar basate basate dusra ghar bass jaata hai.

After breakfast Nandini was in her room.She was thinking of what she could do for Manik.She wanted to punch him in the face for coming with something that stupid.

She had called the entire girl gang in her room so they could suggest her something.She had given up thinking of things.Dancing was the only thing that kept coming in her mind but she didn't want to just dance.What was soo special in that.

A knock was heard and then the entire girl gang along with Aradhya had settled in her room throwing questions about this sudden meeting.

"I want to do something for Manik."She stated earning teasing smiles from everyone. "Teasing ke liye abhi time nahi hai."She stated and they rolled their eyes.

"What do you want to do?"Mukti questioned.

"Agar mujhe pata hota toh tumhe kyu bulati?"

"Point."She stated.Nandini just prayed that they would come up with something that would make him feel special.

"Nandini you could dance."Navya suggested.

"Isn't it common Navya."Nandini stated biting her lip and the rest nodded in agreement.

"No I mean a flash mob for him."Nandini looked at her with a wide smile and the next Navya knew she was tackled in a hug by everyone.

"Idiots get up I can't breath."

The rest of the day passed by in practicing for the Sangeet.Nandini practicing for her dances and the rest of the crowd practicing their dances.Manik?He had made himself invisible the entire day after breakfast.

It was 7 in the evening and the girls barged into Nandini's room to make her ready followed by makeup artists as the Sangeet was to start at 9.

"Oh my my kya lag rahe ho."Nandini palmed her mouth literally checking her friends out.

"We know abhi ladko ko clean bowled karke aa rahe hai."Aarohi winked giving a hi-five to Myra and the rest gave an amazing hair flip.

"I am proud of you guys."Nandini wiped the fake tears from her eyes making the girls laugh.

"If you are done can we start with you?"Navya faked a smile and Nandini immediately sat on the chair.

It took a total of 1 and a half hours to get Nandini ready.No not because they had really worked hard on her but because they would momentarily make a joke and laugh about it for 5 minutes.Keep girls in one room to get ready together and they would never come down on time.

"Mashallah Nandini kya dikh rahi hai.Manik ki aakhe fati ki fati rehne wali hai."Navya said and did the nazar utaro thing like aunties do with their hands.

"Thanks guys.You guys worked your magic."Nandini smiled showing her 32 teeth.

"It was more of the makeup artists while we spoiled it every now and then when you laughed with our pathetic jokes."Alya pointed out and Nandini agreed.

"Guys I am nervous.What if I mess up?"Nandini voiced out.Her face contorting with worries.It is not everyday that you dance in for your fiancé in front of 200 people.

"Don't worry.You don't have to work hard.Tu aise sirf dekhegi toh Manik will be starstruck."Mukti patted her back and she rolled her eyes at her pathetic way to calm her down but it still brought a smile on her face.

"Meine inn ladko ko bola tha not to come before 9.Bilkul patience nahi hai."Navya grumbled under her breath as their talks were disturbed by a loud knock. "Kya hai-Sorry aunty mujhe laga Cabir hai."Navya shouted but quickly apologised seeing the three mothers.

"Koi baat nahi beta."Ragini patted her cheek and they walked in.

Nandini got up from her chair to face her three mothers. "Kitni sundar lag rahi hai Nandu."Her mother kissed her forehead and hugged her.She was happy for her daughter but that didn't stop her from being sad.She was giving away a part of herself.Just the thought of it made her emotional.

"Nalini don't cry bechari bacchi bhi ro padegi."Neyonika hugged Nandini patting her back.

"Nandini kitni khubsurat lag rahi ho beta."Ragini smiled at her. "Abhi abhi Manik ke kamre se hokar aaye hai.That guy is soo impatient to see you and let me warn you he is looking equally handsome."She teased.Nandini blushed lowering her head while the rest laughed at her misery.

"We just came to check on you.9 baje neeche aa jana."Neyonika stated and then all three walked out.

Soon half an hour passed and then at sharp 9 there was a knock.The girls urged Nandini to open the door and she nodded.She opened the door and Manik stood there in his tux looking handsome as ever.Manik in black and white was Nandini's weakness and seeing him standing there in a tux with his hair gelled......her heart skipped a beat.

Manik smirked seeing the same expressions on her face cause he was knocked out of his senses looking at her.She looked like a princess.He wanted to take her away and hide her in his arms and never leave her.

A series of coughs and clearing of throats were heard.Manik rubbed the back of his neck as Nandini's eyes danced in delight while Nandini turned into a tomato not with the teasings but the appreciation and love Manik held in his eyes for her. "If you both are done checking each other out will you make a move?"Rehaan smirked.

Manik just forwarded his hands to Nandini who immediately took it welcoming warmth.He squeezed her hand and Nandini looked at him with a smile that could warm the coldest hearts.

The rest walked ahead hiding the duo from the guests.The Sangeet was held in the back garden.The entire garden was decorated beautifully with the dance floor in the middle.The whole ambience shouted class but also it had a different kind of peace amidst the chaos.

Manik and Nandini were stopped by the door as the rest walked ahead.Cabir and Niranjan stood on the stage silencing the music and the crowd. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen."Cabir shouted into the mike. "Today we welcome you to the Sangeet of Manik Malhotra and his soon to be wife Nandini Murthy."Loud claps and whistles erupted making them grin.

"Lets welcome the couple of the week Nandini Murthy and Manik Malhotra everybodyyyy."Niranjan ended up shouting.Their friends whistled and hooted like crazy maniacs looking at the couple enter.

To say they looked stunning together would be an understatement.They complimented each other really well.Both their parents walked to them giving them tight hugs.

They both sat on the couch placed for them as Cabir and Niru walked back on the stage. "Good evening,hello,Namaste everyone. I am Cabir and I am the host for the evening and a very proud friend to my idiot of a friend Manik."Manik just glared at his best friend on stage while the rest laughed.

"And I am Niranjan the brother of the to be bride."Niru introduced himself.

"Thank you for coming and hope you are enjoying the free food and drinks... isn't that why we are all here?"He questioned.

"Oh, of course, we are also here to witness the pure joy and happiness of Dii and Jiju, and that's because they are still officially single. Two days later, they'll be married, two bodies one soul and one voice – that'll be dii's!"The crowd erupted into laughter while Nandini wanted to smack Niranjan while Manik was having the time of his life looking at Nandini's face.Everything is funny until the jokes on you.

"Jokes apart, tonight we are going to dance till our feet hurt, laugh till we cry and drink till we pass out. Thank you Nandini and Manik for bringing us all together with your love for one another. Cheers to you and we all wish you a happy and beautiful life together."Cabir said.

"Yes its about loving your family but today its about 'Aa dekhe zara kismein kitna hai dum'"Niru stated. "Tonight is going to be a dance battle.Its the bride side vs the groom side before we are formally tied together."Niranjan cleared and Manik and Nandini looked at each other in amusement.This was going to be fun.

"We both are sooo excited and hope that you are as excited as us.So lets hit it."Cabir continued earning shouts of agreement.

"Lets call our first couple for this evening."Niru said and moved out of the stage with Cabir.

Manik and Nandini just sat grinning waiting for their family to perform.The lights dimmed and in walked in Nandini's grandparents who performed a little bit on an old melody.

All the bride's side performances were done which consisted of Nandini's parents obviously,Niranjan but also Abhimanyu because he had connected with Nandini who was a little sister to him.Niraj and Arohi who danced on a romantic song.Then Navya walked in with Shanaya. "Isne toh abhi se party badal di."Manik commented making Nandini laugh.Not to forget the little angel Aradhya who stole everyones heart.

"A huge round of applause for them please."Cabir shouted to the already hooting crowd. "Now presenting to you the groom's side who are going to blow you away with their moves."Cabir smirked and Niru scoffed giving him an 'oh really?Lets see' look.

The Grooms side performed with Manik's dad,mother,bade papa and badi maa dancing together and then the younger clan.

Manik and Nandini both thought that after this both Cabir and Nandini would come up again but this time the entire groom's side family danced on a punjabi beat.

Then came the entry of the brides side them doing a little bit of a dance on classical beats.

What came as a surprise to both was when they both danced together mixing the punjabi and classical beats.Manik and Nandini were the loudest to hoot.Manik also went ahead and whistled making Nandini laugh.

As the performance ended everyone stood up clapping,hooting,cheering.It was a fab performance but picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.

The lights went off earning murmurings from the crowd.Manik turned to hold Nandini's hand but she was missing.He looked around himself but he couldn't find her. "Yeh kaha chali gayi?"He frowned and got up.As soon as he got up the lights came back on and the music started playing.

Mukti and Navya pulled Manik up and made him stand in the middle of the stage.Only the younger clan had an idea what was going to happen.Apart from them everyone else was clueless.

After making Manik sang Abhimanyu and Cabir pulled their respective partners and started moving slowly to the violin tune of Mohabbatein.The tune changed to a song.

Slowly all the couples came on the dance floor and started dancing slowly.Manik just looked at them in awe and at how romantic the atmosphere had turned.

The song changed suddenly.Manik grinned listening to the song but Nandini was still not visible.Manik knew each song was dedicated to him.

The others were just watching with amusement guessing this was done by Nandini and just like Manik everyone was searching for her.

Mukti made Manik stand in a way that his back was facing the guests and the song changed.

The song changed yet again but they all had stopped dancing.Cabir gestured for him to turn and he did.Amidst other guests Nandini emerged dancing flashing a shy smile to Manik.She walked towards him and stood in front of him,the atmosphere completely silent.

"I love you."She whispered kissing his cheek and twirled around standing in front of the younger clan.

Nandini danced with them doing steps looking at Manik with a smile.Manik had the biggest grin on his face.His
eyes were twinkling with unshed tears as he looked at his love.

Nandini walked towards him as the rest continued to dance.Manik pulled her towards himself and twirled her around forgetting the people around him.He back hugged her but Nandini slowly got out of his hold.

Nandini then danced and got on her knee and gave Manik a rose.Everyone hooted loudly for the couple,their friends cheered patting Manik's back and he smiled.He had put forth his demand not knowing she would make him feel soo special.The songs that were played were both of their favourites.Manik looked at no one but Nandini.He gently made her stand while Nandini had suddenly started to feel shy.

Rehaan handed him the mike knowing he would want to speak.All their friends left the stage and stood below while the parents looked at them with soo much adoration in their eyes.Manik held her hand and brought her closer to him.Nandini looked at him only to find him looking at her. "Nandini what should I say about you.You've graced my life and made it so so beautiful.Supported me throughout,been there for me through thick and thin.Jitna bhi bolu kam hai.I cannot thank god enough for sending you in my life.Mom dad thankyou for giving such a precious part of you guys to me.I promise to keep her happy always.I love you Nandini...sooo much."He kissed her forehead and pulled her in a hug.
