"Yeah yeah that'll be great."Nandini spoke placing her phone between her shoulder and ear as she ate.

It was the day of the fashion show and it was maddening.Everyone was running around to get things perfect not wanting to anger Nandini.One thing they noticed she was dangerous when she was angry and they didn't want to face her wrath.

"Nandini what do you think of this?"Rhea stood in front of her holding the showstoppers dress.

"It looks great but hope it fits her."She said examining the dress.

"Don't worry everything's being taken care of."She assured her and Nandini nodded when her phone rang.She dismissed Rhea and answered her phone.

"Hello."She answered the call with a smile.

"Hello.Whats going on?"Manik questioned.

"Everything is under control as of now."She said resuming her eating.

"Khana khaya?"He asked and she hummed.

"Kha rahi hoon.Don't worry I know Rhea ko nazar rakhne bola hai,she is doing her job perfectly."She rolled her eyes and he laughed.

"I am glad."He muttered. "Accha I'll hang up don't want to disturb you.See you in the evening.Byee."He said and hung up after Nandini bid him bye.

After the little fight that went down on the day of the inauguration Nandini made sure to talk to him atleast once a day and Manik tried to give her her space and let her concentrate on her work.

They had met once during the entire week when Nandini and Neyonika were about to go for the wedding dress shopping.

"Are Nandu tu itna jaldi aa gayi?Mom ne toh 11 baje bola tha na."Myra said as soon as she saw Nandini enter.

"Ha bhabhi woh Manik se mili nahi thi toh socha I'll come early."Nandini said walking towards the couch. Nandini and Myra had bonded over the months and Nandini had found a friend in her and she was just like Navya,Alya and Mukti but more mature.She could share anything with her."How are you and how is the little one?"Nandini cringed her eyes as a wide smile came on her face.

"I am great but I think Rehaan will have different opinions.Bichare ko bohot tang kar rahi hoon mein."She pouted making Nandini giggle.

"I agree ha what weird cravings man."Rehaan walked out carrying a plate of what looked like fruits.

"Hello bhai."Nandini side hugged him as he sat besides Myra.

"Tu baith I'll call mom."Rehaan offered but Nandini stopped him.

"Nahi bhai I am actually early."

"Manik se milne aayi hai."Myra butted in teasing her.

"Ohhhhhh."He sang teasing her further making Nandini go red and the couple laughed at her expense. "Don't blush now but the last time I checked he was asleep.Go to his room."

Nandini nodded and quickly scurried from there not wanting to be teased more.She made her way towards his room.This wasn't the first time she was seeing his room all thanks to the sneaking in both of them had done.

Since Rehaan told her he was sleeping she entered without knocking and went in like a thief being careful not wanting to make noise that would wake him up from his peaceful slumber.

She turned closing the door making the littlest sound and walked towards his bed."Jesus."She mumbled under her breath as she stopped in her tracks.She wished she had knocked on the door.

Manik was in nothing but a towel that hung loosely around his waist showing his v lines.He had freshly showered and the water droplets ran from his broad shoulders to his chest crossing his stomach and disappeared.His damp hair sticking to his forehead and the day old stubble making him look hot.God save her today.

Nandini sometimes forgot how hot her boyfriend sorry strike that her fiance was.She sucked in a breath as she checked him out.Manik oblivious to having a spectator was in his own world.He was about to remove his towel when Nandini got back to her senses. "Manik."She shouted but it only came out as a whisper.Manik startled looked towards the source of the voice to confirm his suspicions of whether it was Nandini.

He smirked and tied the towel around his waist and walked towards her.He mentally
hi-fied himself on getting the reaction out of her unknowingly.She was stuck to her place with her eyes wide and mouth a little open.She wasn't even trying to hide the fact that she was checking him out.

"How are you here early in the morning?Manik questioned. "Not that I complain."He mumbled closing the distance between them as he trapped her between the wall and him.

"You look hot."She blurted looking at him and Manik smirked.Nandini slapped herself mentally for being sooo blatant.She saw the smirk and she knew she was not getting away with this easily.

"That wasn't the answer to my question but I am glad you find me hot."She replied with a sly smile nearing her face.

Nandini averted her eyes a blush creeping on her face and a smile that threatened to form on her lips. "Don't you know you should knock when you enter someones room?"He rhetorically questioned. "What if....what if I was in some compromising situation."He had a horrified expression on his face but Nandini knew he was having the time of his life teasing her.He loved seeing her all flustered.

"Woh-woh bhai sa-said you were sleepin-sleeping."She stuttered due to their proximity.

"But knock toh karna chahiye na."He fought back and Nandini gulped watching him watch her with those intense eyes. "Did-did you see anything?"He asked and Nandini widened her eyes.They were in a relationship for six years but they hadn't crossed the line as both of them wanted to wait till they were married.

"Manik pleaseee."She whined strictly looking at his face.She couldn't risk looking down,sge had established that was dangerous territory.She didn't want to fall back in the pit she was trying to come out of.

"Please what?Mujhe jawab chahiye."He tilted her chin making her look at him.

"Bass na kitna tease karoge."She cutely complained and he chuckled pulling her closer.

"You are sooo cutee yaar.Matlab mann karta hai kha jau." He said biting her cheek and she slapped his chest.

"Please go put on some clothes."Nandini ordered.

"Aise kaise.Ek kiss de do phir I'll go."He said and she shrugged placing her lips on his catching him by surprise.

Manik was sure she had a switch that went from shy to bold within seconds.

Present
"Nandini where are you lost."Alya snapped her fingers in front of her bringing her out of her trance.

"Ha woh kuch nahi."She shook her head trying to concentrate. "How are you here early?Meine bola tha na I'll handle and you should take rest aaram se aana karke."She scolded all three Mukti,Alya and Navya who stood showing their teeth to her.

"Aree come on yaar Nandini.Aaram baad mein karlenge abhi we need to ace this fashion show.Humare best friend ka sawaal hai bhai."Navya said pulling Nandini for a hug and Alya and Mukti joined in.Nandini couldn't thank god enough for sending these crazzy friends in her life.

"Bohot ho gaya ab lets get to work phir ready bhi hone jaana hai na."Alya reminded them breaking the hug and they all nodded getting back to their work.

"Guys work is done the show starts in an hour."Nandini breathed out looking at all her friends.

They had worked for five hours straight looking after last minute things,getting alterations done for the models.Nandini was looking after things personally in order to be sure.

"Don't worry Nandini sab thik ho jayega.We'll get ready and come here tab tak tu bhi ready ho jaa.You have to shine the brightest today."Mukti patted her back calming her down and Nandini nodded.

"Ha."She said and they left while Nandini left to get ready.

"Rhea I hope everything is ready."Nandini asked gazing at everyone.

Though Nandini was friendly she was extremely serious about her work and she couldn't afford a single mistake.All her employees knew this about her hence they tried to be on her good side.

"Yes Nandini."She nodded professionally and Nandini nodded after which Rhea left.

Nandini left towards the audi to see whether her family had arrived when she met Manik. "I was coming to wish you luck."Manik said as soon as she saw her pulling her to a corner while she smiled. "Nandini you have been really passionate and soo ambitious.I admire that about you and now that you are accomplishing your goal I cannot help but feel soo proud.This is your time to shine Nandini.I wish you all the luck in the world baby and trust me I am going to be the loudest one cheering for you."Manik pulled her in a tight hug and kissing her forehead and Nandini's nervousness vanished.

"Thankyou I really needed it."She inhaled a deep breath and Manik nodded.

"Did I tell you how gorgeous you look?"He asked and Nandini giggled.

"Chalo I need to meet everyone before this starts."She said after thanking Manik and pulled him towards the audi.

"Lo aa gayi Nandu."Nalini said and Nandini touched both her parents feet and hugged them one by one.

"All the best bacche."Neyonika kissed her forehead and she nodded thanking her.

"Aap log baitho I'll meet you later.Byee guys."She said and walked after giving quick hugs to everyone.

"Good evening everyone."The person shouted over the mike.Silence spread in the entire auditorium.Everyone was eager to see the collection.Nandini had made a good name in the industry working for her previous designer and now that she was starting with her own fashion house people couldn't help but be excited. "Introducing Nandini Murthy ladies and gentlemen."The host clapped along with crowd as Nandini walked with a wide smile.

"I want to begin by thanking you for gracing this event.It is a great honour for me to showcase my Summer Collection."She started taking the mike from the host. "This collection is heavily inspired by all things summer.An unusual approach to summer colours.Its gonna be bright and beautiful.I hope you enjoy the show."She ended shortly after not wanting to bore people with huge speeches and went backstage.

The fashion show wasn't boring in fact it was out of the ball park.Nandini had done an amazing job with the designs but also the whole atmosphere of the show was peppy and fun.Singers sang songs as the models walked the ramp showing off the designs.

As soon as the showstopper walked out the audience gasped.Kareena Kapoor looked stunning in the yellow gown.Nandini had really done a great work.

Nandini walked out at last besides Kareena and she could here her entire family cheering loudly for her.They both posed for the camera with a wide smile on their face.

After the event was over Nandini went backstage where her entire family stood with smiles on their face. "Godd Nandini you were amazing out there."Nalini pulled her daughter in a tight hug as a tear slipped her eye.

"Thankyou sooo much mom."She smiled widely her own eyes shining with tears.

Everyone congratulated her one by one but the younger clan pounced on her taking her in a group hug. "Congratulations Nandini."They shouted making her giggle.

"Thanks guys."She said. "It wouldn't have been possible without your help."She stated.

"Nandini everything was done by you.You did not use any names to get your work done toh all the appreciation is yours and yours alone."Cabir said and the rest nodded in agreement.

"Yep and we are throwing a party for you."Mukti added and Nandini looked at them in surprise.

"I mean we already knew it would be a success toh socha we'll only throw a party."Manik shrugged and Nandini shook her head.

"And before you oppose everyone is going to be there.Rhea ne bohot help ki hai humari."Dhruv added quickly and she nodded though shocked.

"Chalo let loose now."Manik pulled her. "Mom dad aap bhi chalo."Manik added looking at both their parents.

"Nahi Manik hum kaha.Tum bacche enjoy karo."Nalini said on behalf of all of them and the rest nodded.

"Aapke beti ki success party hai and I know how much you and dad love partying mom and dad Manik ne bhi mujhe bataya hai so pleasee."Nandini pleaded cutely.

"Ha mom party club mein nahi hai and you'll get to meet friends."Manik added supporting his fiancé and both the set of parents agreed.

"Manik I think mein aur Myra nikalte hai.It is already 11 and she is tired."Rehaan said and both Manik and Nandini nodded.

"Thanks for coming bhabhi."Nandini hugged her and she reciprocated then moving ahead to hug Rehaan.

"Nandini you were amazing out there."Myra patted her cheeks and Nandini smiled thanking her. "Chalo byee guys."

"Drive safely and ghar jaake message karna."Neyonika ordered to Rehaan who nodded and they left.

Nandini was pulled to a famous hotel which was transformed into a club on Fab5's demands while the rest followed.

Nandini entered the hotel with Manik by her side and she could see all her employees.There were a few designers,actors that Nandini had worked with.Nandini looked at Fab5 and grinned widely. "Thanks guys."She yelled and they laughed.

Suddenly the music came to a stop abruptly and Nandini saw Cabir standing on a table. "Yeh kya kar raha hai?"Nandini asked completely amused by Cabir's antics.

"Bhagwan jaane."Navya shook her head making them laugh.

"Thanks for joining us tonight.This is a small party from us Fab5 to her.Give it for Nandini Murthy."He shouted at the end and the space filled with claps and hootings and Nandini giggled smiling thankfully. "Help yourself to drinks and the dance floor.Business party nahi hai yeh."He added and everyone laughed.

He got down and walked towards them a waiter carrying shot glasses,wine glasses and whiskey glasses.The younger clan picked glasses except for Nandini.

"What's wrong now?"Manik asked Nandini.

"Manik how can I drink mom dad hai yaha."She said.

"Ha toh?"He asked not getting her point.

Nandini gave a look and he widened her eyes realising.He hit his forehead. "You can't be serious."He gave her a look and she shrugged.

"Nandini why aren't you drinking?"Neyonika asked as she heard their conversation.

"Woh mom.."Nandini gulped looking at the glare Neyonika passed her.

"Nandini mein koi 18th century se nahi hoon.You don't have to ask.You can let loose.Drink,dance jo bhi hai."Neyonika patted her cheek and walked off winking at Manik who grinned.

"So now dump your stupid thoughts and drink up."Manik handed her a shot glass but she still looked unsure. "Ab kon?"He asked bored.

"Dad."She mouthed and he frowned.

"Turn."He said and she turned. "Look at dad."He said and she looked at her MIL and FIL.

Raj was pulling the wine glass from her hand and handing her his whiskey glass. "Nandini both of them are party animals.Though roj drinking nahi karte but kabhi kabar they drink.And you Ms.Murthy stop thinking soo much.You don't have to change.Mom and dad are pretty cool."He said. "So ab agar saare doubts clear ho gaye ho aur aur koi baaki na ho so please can you."He asked pointing at her shot glasses.

Nandini drank in one go joining the rest of their friends who were pretty down by then but for a change it was Navya and Alya and not Cabir or Mukti. "Woah guys take it easy."Nandini said catching Navya who was swaying.

"We ar-are happy for yo-you."Alya slurred jabbing a finger at Nandini.

"I appreciate guys lekin thoda control karo."Nandini said and Alya and Navya pouted.

"What control Nandini this has been your dream for like forever.I think itna toh banta hai."Cabir said and the rest nodded in agreement.

"I know right college mein this was the only thing she used to talk about.Hum music ke baare mein baat karte the aur yeh about her fashion house."Dhruv added and the rest nodded.

"Ha yaar Manik ko bhul jaati thi yeh."Mukti pointed out and Cabir burst out in laughter as Manik made a bad face.

"I know right.Mujhe toh pura ignore karti thi."Manik frowned and Nandini made an 'aww' face.

"Don't wor."Nandini started.

"What?!"A voice boomed which they heard above the music and all of them turned around to find Raj Malhotra there.

Guess he heard everything.
