Nandini's PoV
It was 10 in the morning and I was all ready to start working.It was Monday today. I really loved my new hair.It suited me and it was easy to handle.Mom wouldn't stop teasing me about it.

Our little family time had brought both our families a little more closer and if possible me and Manik as well.It felt nice to have some time off and to say I was denying the holiday.Though we had returned a little late yesterday from our little getaway I was up and running to check some work.

I walked out of my room.My sneakers padding the floor.I peeped in Niru's room to find him soundly sleeping.I smiled and made my way out. "Mom byee."I kissed her on the cheek and left.

Today was a busy day.I had to check on the office.It was actually done just some minute things were left.The office was ready and I couldn't have been more happy.Then I had to go meet Manik.I wanted to discuss something really important with him.

I got into my car and drove out of the parking lot.I made my way to my office.Wow!Bolne mein hi kitna accha lag raha hai.I got out after parking my car and entered inside.

It looks gorgeous. "Hello Raina."I hugged the designer smiling widely. This is really great."I complimented looking around in awe.

"Thankyou."She walked me through everything showing me and I just couldn't fall in love anymore.It was perfect! "The place will be all yours in two days."She stated and I couldn't help but grin.

"That's great."I nodded jumping on my feet.

After talking for a little while I left.Just when I was going to get in my car I got a call. "Hello."I answered.

"Nandini can we meet in the evening some urgent work has come up."Manik stated and I hummed saying an okay. "See ya then.Bye.Love you."And he hung up.

I thought for a second and called my assistant. "Hello Rhea."I say as soon as she answered.

"Yes Ma'am."She answered.God I have told her not to call me Ma'am.

"What have I told you about calling me Ma'am."I sighed and she muttered a sorry giggling to herself. "Where are you now?"

"I am working on the designs doing some last minute changes."She said.

"I am coming in about 20 minutes.I need to talk to you all about something."I said getting into my car.

"Okay."She said and I hung up.

Since the office was being renovated I had rented a space for a few days.It was small but it did the job and work space is a work space doesn't matter big or small.

There weren't many people working with me.There was Rhea who is my assistant/Manager,Nritya,Megha and Loraine who are the designers and Rahul and Tanmay who took care of the stitching part.

"Hello Nandini."They all greeted me and I smiled.It had only been a month I had known them but they were a part of my life now.They had made this possible.

"I need your attention guys.So drop your work."I ordered and they did leaving their work and giving me their attention. "So I just took a trip to our office and in about two days time it will be ready."I said and they cheered.Dorks! "Since the office is ready early I would like the inauguration to be held in the next week."I said and they all nodded. "Most importantly,I will need your help to make a certain thing possible."I started excitedly.

"Why don't we host our first fashion show in a couple of weeks?"I asked nervously.Sure I was the boss but to manage a fashion show in a matter of two weeks was no joke.I had already given them enough pressure about completing the collection.

"Ofcourse."They all shouted in unison making me smile.

Guess its happening!

I briefed them about how we would go about things in the next few days. It was 5 when I decided to leave.

Since my drive to the cafe was small I reached quickly.I parked my car and got out. "Hello Maria."I hugged her,kissing her cheek.I had missed her.

"Gosh I have missed you.You haven't been here in days."She said and I nodded.

"Soo sorry.I have been busy."I pouted and she patted my cheek.

"Go sit I'll get you your usual."She stated and I nodded. "Is your boyfriend coming?"She questioned wiggling her eyebrows.

"Fiancé?Yes."I showed her my ring and she squealed like a kid.

"Ohh myy godd.Congratulations."She yelled pulling me in a hug making me giggle.

"Thankyou."I smiled.

"Good bless you my child."She said and pushed me to sit on our table.

I pulled out my phone scrolling through Instagram.My followers had increased from a mere 500 to 15k after Manik had announced our roka.It wasn't a surprise though.I checked Manik's story which he had updated a few minutes back.Look at him he has to meet me and yeh yaha pe stories daal raha hai.

"Sorry sorry sorry I know I am late."He panted placing a kiss on my cheeks before sitting.

"Story daalne ke liye aapke paas bohot time hai."I teased and he passed me a cheeky smile making me roll my eyes.

"Manik the office is ready."I blurted not able to hold it in anymore.

"Thats great.When can I see it then?"He asked leaning forward.

"A few more days."I stated and he nodded thinking. "What are you thinking?"I asked taking a sip of water.

"So that means the inauguration will happen soon right?"He asked and I nodded eagerly making him smile widely.

"Also."I trailed rubbing my hands together.He raised his eyebrows asking what. "To showcase the collection I am planning a fashion show."I said.

He got up and swiftly pulled me in for a hug ad spinning me catching me off guard. "Manik.Dizzy."I said and he put me down.I whacked him on his shoulder.

"That is amazinggg."He shouted rubbing his shoulder and I grinned.

"Food is readyy."Maria walked in with two plates full of food and my stomach grumbled at the sight of it.God I am starving.

She placed the plates on the table and I sat while she walked towards Manik and pulled his ear. "You haven't been here in a long time Manik."She scolded and he pouted showing a puppy dog face.

"I know and I am sorry."He hugged her and she melted. "Look at this."He showed her the ring and she grinned shouting a congrats again.After speaking to us for a bit she left to attend other customers.

Manik sat in front of me,both of us digging right into our plates.Man it was delicious.

Manik looked at me while eating. "What?"I asked shoving a spoonful of yumminess in my mouth.

"Now tell me what you wanted to talk to me about?"He asked wiping his mouth with the tissue.

I kept the spoon back on the plate and looked at him nervously.I tucked the loose strand of hair behind my ear before starting. "Uhh...umm."

"You know you can talk to me about anything right?"He asked rubbing circles on the back of my hand and I nodded. "So go ahead I am listening."

I sighed rubbing my face with my free hand. "I can't do this anymore Manik."
