It was Tuesday,the sun was glaring in its full glory as it was the end of April.It was getting hotter by every passing second.

Cabir and Navya's party was nutss.Like freaking nuts.I don't think we have had that amount of fun everrr.Well no we've had but it was something we would remember always.Fun times.

Manik and me we would meet frequently and the stupid person had managed to get me on his side with his idiotic idea.As much as I thought the idea was bad I couldn't help but agree as it was the only option left or atleast that is what we thought.

I still remember the day I told my parents about this plan of Manik's.

Flashback
"Are you guys serious."My dad deadpanned.My brother gave me a 'are you serious' look and my mom just shook her head.

"I know it sounds a little."

"Sounds?a little?"My dad emphasised on those words.

"Okay a lot but we don't have an option."I said exasperated.

"Okay do as you guys please."Dad stated and got up.End of discussion.

Present
But come to think of it Manik was right we couldn't possibly do anything.We couldn't afford him getting mad about the whole situation and getting Manik married to someone else.I shuddered just by the thought of it.

"This is the right thing Nandini."I assured myself.

Manik's PoV
Yesterday was the day I dropped the bomb and had caught everyone by surprise.

Flashback
We were at the dining table eating our dinner normal conversations making rounds.

I cleared my throat and dad looked at me his eyebrow raised. "Everything okay?"He asked.

I stopped eating and folded my hands on the table. "Mom,dad everyone actually.I need to say something."Mom looked at me with a 'are you really starting this now' look and I nodded.

"Bolo Manik."Daadu encouraged me.

"I want to get married."I stated.

Bhai started laughing thinking I am joking but stopped when I gave him a serious look.Bad acting bhai.I controlled myself from rolling my eyes.

"Out of nowhere.."Dad trailed.

"I have been thinking of settling down since a long time."I said and he nodded still thinking.

"But whats the hurry?"Dad asked and Mom nodded agreeing with him.

"I think it is high time now."I kept in short and simple.

"Acchi baat hai phir if you are not pressurised.I will look for a ideal girl for you."He said getting back to his food.

"Nooooo."I shouted almost immediately and he looked at me in shock. "I mean daadu ne mom ko dhundha and mom ne bhabhi ko so I think they should find a nice girl for me."I explained myself.

"Neyo papa aap ladki dhundiye Manik ke liye.I think if he is ready we shouldn't push it ahead."Dad said and they nodded.

Present
"Hello bhabhi."I entered her room.It was 3 in the afternoon and I was home.We had nothing to do.I was home after a meeting in the office but other than that I was free.

"Hello Manik.Kya chal raha hai?"She kept the magazine aside and looked at me as I entered.

"Mera chodo aap batao."I lied down sideways on the bed.

"I am liking the whole thing lekin subah subah uthna only for puking I am not a fan."She grunted and I nodded. "But mood swings are amazing.Bechara Rehaan he is sooo confused right now."She laughed and I laughed along with her.She was my partner in crime.Bhai ko irritate karna hai bhabhi was the answer to it.

My phone ran interrupting our conversation.I smiled looking at the caller id and answered.

"Hello Nandini."I said.Bhabhi shook her head and smiled getting back to her magazine.Though she was 'busy' I knew she was listening.

"Manik I want to meet you."She said.No hello,no hi.I knew better than to question her.

"Where are you?"I asked getting up and sitting straighter.

"I just got done with a meeting.I'll send you my location."She said.

"Where is your car?"I asked.

"Cab."She said.I hung up after an okay and got up.

"Bhabhi sorry but I have to go.We'll talk later.Take care of yourself.Bye."I said and ran out of their room.

I was in my sweatpants so I didn't find any need to change.I just pulled a blue tshirt grabbed my wallet,car keys and penthouse keys and left.

Mom was sitting in the living room instructing the butlers while daadu was busy on his phone. "Tu kaha jaa raha hai?"Mom asked after dismissing them.

"Kuch kaam aa gaya.I'll be back for dinner.Bye."I kissed her cheek and bid bye to daadu.

I got into my car and followed Nandini's location.She was half an hour away from my house so I could reach her quickly.

She sounded a little off today.My usual chirpy Nandini was missing.I hope there was nothing to be worried about.

I reached and saw her standing by the road talking on the phone.I honked and she looked up and walked towards me.She had frowns on her forehead which I wanted to kiss away but I restrained.Lets get out of here first.

She continued talking on the phone while I glanced at her regularly.She was in the most comfiest outfits.She had a kurti on and palazzo pants.Her hair was in a messy bun and a pair of small earrings adorned a ears.

"Whats wrong?"I asked concentrating on the road ahead.

"I just wanted to spend time with you.Is it bad?"She asked.I could see tears forming in her eyes.What is up with this gi

"Is it that time of the month?"I asked and she nodded.God this girl!But I knew I had to keep calm warna I would be dead.Nandini during this time was,lets just say should think 100 times before you mess with her.

I just held her hand and drove.I knew she needed me now.These five days for Nandini lets say she was different.One moment she would be all emotional and clingy and another she would get angry at the minutest things.

Eg.It had been two years for our relationship and I knew I had to handle her with care.We were spending time when she just pushed me away.I looked at her in confusion when she just said that I was breathing loudly.Now I hope you get it.

We reached the penthouse and I got out of the car.The penthouse was in Church Gate giving us the best view of Mumbai.I opened the door knowing there will be no one inside.

Nandini followed me inside and I closed the door after she entered.She sat on the sofa far away from me and I rolled my eyes.Really?

I entered the kitchen and opened the fridge to remove a tub of ice cream.Don't ask me how this house had food.Trust me we were a bunch of people who loved food so we had food stocked like crazy.

I went and placed the tub on the coffee table in front of us and sat far from her.She was playing with her fingers.She was such a baby.

"Nandini come here."I said and she shifted to me lap cuddling me. "You wanna change into comfy clothes."I asked and she nodded.

"Chalo."I picked her up and pulled her to our room.I pulled out clothes for her and went out so she could change.

I loved to pamper her.She was my little baby.Sometimes I was irritated but other than that I loved giving into her cute demands and trust me when I say this she pampered me like crazy.

I entered the living room and put on a horror movie.Trust me she loved to watch them.Initially she was scared but I was rubbing off on her.

She walked in and sat on the couch.She was soo quiet but it was only for a little while trust me.I sat besides her cuddling her and gave her the tub which she accepted with a smile.

I pressed play and started watching the movie.She would jump on a few scenes but otherwise she was fine.She groaned in the middle and I knew she was cramping.I raised her tshirt a bit and massaged her stomach and she relaxed sighing heavily.

"You know I love you right?"She asked turning towards me and I nodded. "And I trouble you also na?"She asked.

"Thoda thoda."I nodded and she giggled hugging me tightly snuggling in my neck.

Her warm breath hitting the side of my neck and I clutched her waist tightly. "Nandini you are not helping baby."I said.

"I know Manik."She smirked and I felt her lips brush my neck,a shiver passing through my body.

I groaned and I flipped her down on her back and me hovering her the movie a long forgotten business now.She looked at me with those innocent eyes that I fell for.We kept gazing at each other.Her hands on my shoulders while mine on either sides of her.

Having enough I crashed my lips to her and she gasped as I knocked out the air off her but she responded nonetheless.We were hungrily kissing each other her hands now moving from my shoulders to my hair gently pulling at them.

She broke the kiss and panted catching her breath while I peppered feather kisses on her face making her moan.I dived into her neck kissing and she whimpered. "I love you soo damn muchh."I said and kissed her forehead and she opened her eyes.

I hugged her and flipped so she was on me.She hugged me tightly and I rubbed her back. "Feeling better?"I asked and she hummed.

"Much."She looked at me with a smile. "You my boy are sent to me from heaven."She said and I laughed.

"Man."I corrected her.

She smacked me on my shoulder and rolled her eyes. "That is what you caught from what I said,seriously?"

"Oh come on."I said and she shook her head. "How is work going?"I asked.

"It is finally happening Manik.Bit by bit,dheere dheere things are falling into place.I have my team ready who have actually started working on designs.I have asked Alya and Mukti as well for help.The interiors are coming out great.I think by the end of next month I can have the inauguration."She smiled widely and I nodded happy for her.

"Soo proud of you."I said and she smiled.

It was 8 when I dropped her at her house. "Take care of yourself."I kissed her forehead.

"Come up na."She said and I shook my head.

"Mom ghar pe wait kar rahi hogi."She nodded and got out of the car while I drove back to mine.

I entered to find everyone in the living room. "Hello."

"Kaha tha tu?"Dad asked.

"Kaam se bahar gaya tha."I stated and he nodded getting back to his news. "Mein change karke aata hoon."I said and left.

I quickly changed and went down after quickly texting Nandini. "So kya chal raha hai?"I plopped on the sofa besides mom.

"Dad wanted to talk about something but he was waiting for you to get home."Bhai filled me in and I nodded.

"Raj kya baat thi?"Daadu asked and dad nodded.

"I know Manik said that he would like Neyo or papa to find a girl for him but I have found a girl.Mr.Kapoor ko toh janti ho na tum Ney."Dad continued and everyone looked at me while I zoned out.
