In malhotra house, the next day.

"Manik! I have forgot to buy nandini a dress for the reception. Tell me when you are going out ok." Neyonika spoke while manik nodded his head.

"But, why do we need to buy the dress for reception?" Manik questioned as he tied his lace.

"Well, ishita and I have decided that the dresses we give for roka should be worn on reception. Its not a compulsion but It would be nice if you wear what they give." Neyonika spoke as she caressed his hair while manik held her hand and nodded his head.

He then set his hair again looking in the mirror while neyonika laughed to herself.

"Then, lets go." He spoke and they departed to the mall.

In murthy mansion.

"Nandu kanna, wake up. We have to go shopping and the relatives have already started to arrive." Amms spoke softly while nandu muttered something before sitting up.

She got ready in her track suit and went out to run without greeting anyone.

After coming back, she wished them good morning and went to fresh up.

After coming down, she was greeted by ishita moving to and fro.

"Amma, chalo. Between navya kaha hai?" Nandini asked coming towards her.

"Wo, abhi ke garh gayi hai. She will meet us at the mall. And thank god there is an indian fashion house in london." Amms said while nandu nodded her head frowning.

*but Navu didn't say anything to me.*

They all went towards their destination, Kushi fashion house.

Kushi fashion house.

"Nandu ye dek, kaisi hai?" Ishita spoke showing a light yellow salwar suit.

"Teek hai par mujhe ye colour pasand nahi." Nandu spoke while Ishita shook her head.

"No haldi ke liye ye hi teek hai." She said keeping it aside and searching for other dresses.

Nandu pout seeing her mother not listening to her.

She the took out a pure white dress and showed it to ishita.

"This is good for haldi right." Nandu asked while ishita frowned.

"Ye holi ke liye hai. Haldi ke liye yahi teek hai." She spoke making nandu frown.

She was about to retort when she felt someone pinch her. She turned to see navya standing there with a smile.

"Oye, why didnt you tell me before going to Abhi's house?" Nandu asked her while navya sheepishly smiled.

"Tell me what happened? Word by word." Nandu threatened.

"Well-" navya started but was cut by ishita.

"Tum dono kya kar rahe ho. Come here and try this nandu. And navya here take these dresses and try it." Ishita gave them both a bundle of clothes and pushed them towards the changing room.

"You arent escaping anywhere. You will tell me everything when we reach home. Alright?" Nandu said narrowing her eyes while navya nodded with a gulp.

Soon nandu tested the first dress. She came out to show it to ishita who nodded at her.

"This dress is for roka." Ishita spoke while raman nodded his head.

"But amma this is so heavy." Nandu gestured while raising the bottem a little.

"No its not heavy, its your once in a life time wedding. I am not going to compromise." Ishita spoke giving her other dresses. At the same time navya entered wearing a green lehanga with gold design and chunni. It looked really beautiful on her.

"Then, I want that dress." Nandu spoke gesturing to the mannequin with black lehanga and pink chunni.

"No, I have already selected for roka, haldi and sangeet. You have to select for shaadi, mehendi and sagaai. And I dont want any black and white dresses for these events." Ishita spoke while nandu just stood there shocked with an open mouth.

"Then- then what about reception?" Nandu asked while ishita hit her forehead slightly.

"Ye toh me bhool hi gayi. Wo neyonika and I decided to let you guys wear what we give in roka. Means reception wo log decide karange." She spoke while nandu just wanted to bang her head sonewhere.

"Wah, you look amazing my girl. I am going to take this too." Ishita praised navya who was now beside nandini.

"Chalo chalo aur bhi kaam hai. Manik ke liye dress bhi select karna hai." She said while navya nodded her head patting nandu's head.

"My poor love, let's go decide the rest of the dresses atleast." She spoke dragging her away from the mannequin.

Near men's section.

Manik and neyonika were passing by when Raman saw them.

"Manik beta." He called out making them turn.

"Hello uncle, aap yaha?"

"Woh wedding keliye shopping kar raha tha."

"Oh, hum bhi." Neyonika spoke, while raman greeted her.

"Toh Nandini aur ishita bhi hai yaha?" She asked while raman nodded his head.

"Haan wo ladies section me hai." He said gesturing towards it while neyonika nodded her head.

"Accha teek hai hum chal the hai." She said while raman nodded and went his way.

Suddenly Neyonika's phone rang, she excused her self not before pushing manik inside the ladies section.

"Oh manik, tum yaha?"

"Wedding shopping ke liye aaya hoon aunty."

"Oh, toh neyonika ji bhi aayi hai?"

"Yes aunty, unhe ek phone aaya tha so I came here first." He spoke while ishita nodded her head with a smile.

"Ye acchi baat hai. Now I can ask your opinion about your dress."

"Aunty you can give me anything, I dont mind." He said while ishita smiled at his humility.

Nandu came out of the changing room in her original clothes with a sad expression. She went towards the counter to pay the bill without seeing manik.

Meanwhile manik looked at her absent mindedness and frowned.

"Isse kya huva?"

"Nothing, she wanted that dress but aunty said no." Navya spoke out of no where scaring manik.

"God, navya you scared me."

"Haha is it so? Ah, let's move. They are already going." She spoke as she hurriedly went towards nandini who glanced at the dress one last time.

Manik looked at the dress and went towards the counter.

He then messaged neyonika.

"Mumma I just found nandini's dress for the reception."

"Buy it quick!!!!"

"Bought it mumma."

"That's my boy." She sent the message while he smiled looking at it.

Unfortunately manik and neyonika had to bid them bye as something happened at the NGO.

Nandu had a guilty smile as she unconsciously ignored manik before. He just shook his head in a no as if understanding her.

They parted ways quickly while nandini and family continued their shopping.

Nandini selected a black Kurta for manik.

Ishita smiled at her selection and resumed her shopping for raman and DJ.
