Nandu was very tired... as soon as she reached her home she directly went to bed... she was sleepy too... the drama took a really big toll on her mental strength...

She didnt want anymore drama...

No one disturbed her too seeing her like this... but amms walked straight into her room...

Amms: kanna, at least drink this milk... you shouldnt sleep with an empty stomach... she said caressing nandu's hair whi made a bad face hearing the word milk...

Amms: nandu, kanna... common get up... she said while nandu sighed and sat up again...

She pouted at her amms who gave her the glass of milk to drink without even glancing at her...

Nandu pinched her nose and closed her eyes tightly then took deep breathes as if preparing for a war...

*one, two, three... go...*

She muttered in her mind and drank the whole glass without stop...

Seeing this amms chuckled and shook her head in disbelief...

Nandu: yuck... she said making a bad face while amms hit her head slightly...

Amms: when you were small, you would drink milk so happily... and now... she said sighing...

Nandu: thats because i wasn't enlightened then... she muttered grumpily while amms raised her brow at her... nandu smiled sheepishly and fell back on to the bed... and covered her self with blanket from head to toe...

Amms took the glass and went away not before closing the door but made sure to leave a little gap... nandu always sleeps leaving the door open... its like a habit for her...

Reason? She says that closing the door makes her feel congested, she wasnt like this before... but as they say, time indeed changes people...

Time skip... Monday...

Every thing was going as per the routine... everyone excersied as per nandu's order... and the day was going smooth...

Nandu was called back home by our very own ishita from the office...

She immediately went home not wanting make her mother dearest angry...

She got ready in a simple peach pink knee lenght dress with 3/4th sleeves...

It was really pretty and perfect for the occasion...

Nandu had to obidently sit in front of the mirror as her mother dearest and the traitor Navya decided to paint her face...

After approximately 30 minutes which seems like an hour... nandu was ready...

All of them decided to leave to malhotra mansion since they were all ready...

At Malhotra mansion...

Nandu and her family were greeted by neyo and raj themselves...

They went inside to see manik and his friends waiting for them with pandit ji...

They greeted each other and sat down...

All the elders were immediately immersed in talking with each other... the youngsters didnt know what to do except awkwardly glance at each other...

Manik: so... he said while nandu raised her brow...

Cabir: well, this is awkward... common guys let me eat in peace... he said stuffing some jalebi into his mouth while navya shook her head at him...

Navya: is he always like this... she asked while they nodded regretfully... nandu pinched navya's hand...

Nandu: what are you asking navu... are you out of your mind... she whisper yelled at her... navya pouted...

Seeing this manik laughed... nandu glared him too...

Neyo: accha bacchoon... doo dates select kiye hai... inn me se tum log select kar lo... she said while nandu and manik looked at each other...

Dhruv: well, ek this month xx par hai aur dusra the next month ending me hai... he informed them while nandu frowned... she looked at her parents and amms, they were looking at her too...

Manik: mom, kya me ek minute nandini se baat kar sakthe hoon... he asked while neyo nodded her head...

Manik: aunty, uncle... kya me Nandini se ek minute baat kar sakthe hoon... he asked them who felt happy that he was considering their opinion too... seeing them happy, nandu felt happy too...

Manik: umm, nandini... he called her who nodded at him to show the way as she stood up...

They both went up stairs towards manik's room...

Manik: sorry, i know you are uncomfortable being in my room but we dont have a balcony like yours... he said chuckling while nandu nodded with a small smile... she looked around... it was black and white... well, mostly black...

It was clean... she was impressed a little...

Manik: so you can talk to me, you know... he said while nandu rolled her eyes at him...

Nandu: Mr. Mal- manik... what do you think about the dates... she asked wanting to know his opinion... while he sat on his bed with a thump...

Manik: i dont know... well the sooner the better but... you have to leave you family right... so you can decide it... i dont have any problem even if you want it to happen next month... he said while nandu sighed...

Nandu: i cant think of any thing... she said holding her head...

Manik: well, this time even i cant help you... but all i can say is... no matter when you miss your parents you can visit them... i will never say no... he said truthfully while nandu just sighed...

Nandu: what do you think i should say now... she asked him unconsciously...

Manik: well, we need to marry some day or the other right... so why not now... and dont worry, i am your future husband... i will support you when we speak to our parents... he said while nandu leaned against the wall...

*i dont know what to do... i am not ready for this... but i have to some day... maybe i should do that... maybe its for the best...*

Nandu was too busy in her thoughts that she didnt see manik moving...

Manik: here, these are the contract papers... he said making her shout...

Manik: are you mad... its just me... he said covering her mouth...

Nandu pushed his hand away and took deep breathes...

Nandu: you are the one who's mad... why did you appear so suddenly... she shouted at him hitting his shoulder while manik rolled his eyes and handed her the papers...

Nandu read the whole format line to line... not missing a word...

It was specifically emphasised that if manik cheats then she would get half of what he owns and vice versa...

Nandu: alright... give me a pen... she said while manik handed her his...

She put the papers on the nearest table and signed it...

Manik too signed the papers...

And gave her the second original...

Nandu: keep it with you... i cannot bring it back home... someone will definitely find it... she said but took some pictures of the contract for safety reasons... manik rolled his eyes at her...

Manik: lets go... he said and put the papers back in his locker...

He reached the door faster due to his long legs... meanwhile nandu too walked fastly to keep up with him...

She wobbled as her foot got stuck with the carpet... she was about to fall when our hero immediately caught her by her waist...

Nandu held manik's frim yet muscular shoulders with one of her hands and fisted his shirt with the other tightly balancing her self...

She even felt his collar bone which made nandu blush...

Their eye lock lasted for a second before manik himself broke it... (*gaada kahi ka... toda aur romance kar le the*writer pov)

He slowly made her stand up... she immediately left his shoulders and strode away...

He chuckled slightly as he glanced at her disappearing back... he glanced at his now crumbled shirt...

He straightened it before heading down...

Nandu felt very embarrassing... how could she fall... and specifically on him...

*Damn her luck... every time she tries to move away from him... it bring him much closer to her...*

Ishita: so kya decide kiya hai tum dono ne... she asked while manik looked at nandini...

*wah thank you very much for your support Mr. Future husband...*

She thought sarcastically glaring manik who gave her a cute smile...

Nandu: mom... we were thinking of asking your opinion... she said looking at all the elders...

Ishita: well, we dont have any problem if you want to marry this month itself... she said while amms nodded her head along with neyo and raj...

Raman: its your wish beta... he said smiling warmly... while nandu held her tears back seeing her dad... she gave them a smile...

Nandu: then, we will go with your decision... she said making neyo and ishita squeal like teenage girls... everyone had a huge smile as the hugged each other congratulating...

Nandu was hugged by navya... then mukthi and aliya too hugged her suprising her...

Mukthi: hello bhabhi... i am mukthi... your nanad... she said smiling brightly while aliya introduced herself as manik's friend...

That evening was very joyful for both the murthys and malhotras...

But Both nandu and manik were troubled... it hit them all of a sudden... they were really getting married... and this was definitely not a business deal... suddenly their hearts skipped a beat... not due to love or anxiety but due to fear... all of a sudden marriage didnt seem like a small thing any more...

*i said yes but can i really do this... how can i possibilly live without seeing them once... how can i leave amms who wakes me up... how can i leave my dad who is my everything... Godd... am i have second thoughts...*

Nandu had a terrified expression as she looked at the elders who were conversing about the further details...

*this is what i wanted... this is why i agreed to marry... but why does the thought of someone entering the family gives me chills... what if she isnt comfortable... what if problems arise... goddd... why are you doing this to me...*

He thought as he looked at his mother...
