In Dixit's Mansion

Nandini's Bedroom

The love birds were still in their dreamland. They were sleeping peacefully. People who talk about feelings are somewhere right. When you sleep in your favorite bed, you feel like you can sleep forever and the situation is no different when it comes to lovers. If you are wrapped in your Love's arms, you would never feel to get out of it, because you are at peace..

Nandini was the first one to stir in her sleep. She rubbed her nose on wherever her face was lying but then she could smell something divine. Her bed was soft and had a pure smell but it was never this divine. She opened her eyes slowly only to get lost in that baby face. She smiled widely and stroked his cheeks..

Nandini: Mani...

She kept caressing his cheek. He was looking so cute with half opened-mouth yet hot with only tracks as his clothes, but his face had innocence which asked only Love and care from her and she was more than ready to give it..

She tried to get out of his grip when she saw the time which was enough to freak her out. It was her pooja timing. But boy, she just couldn't get out of the Kumbkharan's grip..

Nandini ( huffed ): Ithna stamina kaha se maanga is ladke ne..

" Kahi se bhi nahi, bas kuch zyada khana khatha hoon.." She snapped her head at him to see him looking at her with a smirk..

Nandini ( shocked ): You were awake..but, when..how..?

Manik ( grinned ): I woke up when you were busy in admiring me..

She opened her mouth wide and then started beating him..

Nandini: You Moron Malhotra..You were playing with me..stupid, monkey..

Manik started laughing..

Manik: No matter what, you're still tiny huh..

This just increased her anger..She punched him in his stomach..

Manik ( hissed ): Ouch..Nandu, it hurts..

Nandini ( pouted): Aw, really baby..I'm so sorry..Monster..

Suddenly, she felt herself lying beneath him..

Nandini: Manik, what the heck are you doing..?

Manik ( huskily ): I was just showing what a monster is capable of..Don't you wanna know..?

He dipped his head in her neck and inhaled her scent and she gripped his shirt in her fist..

Manik ( whispered ): Good Morning, Love..

Nandini ( smiled ): Good Morning Mani..

He raised his head and kissed her forehead which just made her more than happy. She kissed his cheeks in return and he bit his lips and grinned at her..

Nandini: Mani, it's time for Pooja. Chalo, utho..

He just lied on her lazily and kept his head on her chest making her gasp..He snuggled in her warmth and smiled in peace..

Manik: Thodi der aur..

Nandini just smiled and ruffled his hair while he was just snuggling into her like a baby and this time, it was him who was listening to her heartbeat..

" Beep " " Beep "

Manik ( groaned ): Why the hell does it ring whenever we are together..!!

Nandini ( giggled ): Because, it's not a naughty monster like you..

He made a bad face, she picked her phone..

Manik: If that's going to be your handsome best friend, then I will chew and spit him on grass..

She giggled more seeing his possessiveness for her. She answered the call and kept it on speaker..

" Munchkin.." said the voice..

Nandini giggled at Manik because it wasn't Sid and he just looked here and there...

Nandini: Ha Aru..bolo..

Arya: Yar, aaj teri pooja cancel kar..

Nandini ( surprised ): What..? But why..? Tu hamara Mansion mein hi hain na..

Arya: Haa baba, tu abi thak mere kamre thak nahi aaya na isiliye mujhe patha chala that you were sleeping..

Nandini bit her lips because she wasn't sleeping but romancing with her ' boyfriend '..She looked at Manik to see him smirking at her, she slapped his arms lightly and glared at him..

Nandini: Acha, problem kya hai..wo bol..

Arya ( annoyed ): Yar, kya bathaoon. Hamara uss dealer, Mr. Rode ne meeting rakha hai, early morning meeting because he had to attend his wife's brother's wedding which will happen withing 4 hours, isiliye hame ab nikalna padega meeting keliye..

Nandini ( angry ): What the heck..How can he just change the schedule..!! Why didn't he tell us before, wedding kya aaj fix kiya tha..

Arya ( frustrated ): Wedding tho bohath pehle hi fix kiya tha aur usne hame inform bhi kiya tha that he would be having an early morning meeting today..

Nandini ( shocked ): When did it happen..? He never said any such a thing..

Arya ( sarcastically ): Kya tum hamara " Mr. Forget " ko bhool gayi..?

Nandini ( frusutrated ): Ughhh..Sidharth Kapoor. He knew it..phirse iss gadhe ne museebath ko invite kiya..I am gonna kill him..

Arya ( chuckled ): Tum usse baad mein maaro, pehle meeting keliye niklo..tum ladkiyan taiyaar hone mein kithna time lagathe hai..Soha tho aadha ghante se hi shuru kiya..

Nandini ( scowled ): Shut up monkey. She is my best friend and your future wife so better be quiet..Bye...

She cut the call and looked at Manik who was staring at her in amusement..

Nandini: What..?

Manik ( still surprised ): Well, he's your brother but you never behaved like that..

Nandini ( chuckled ): That's called being crazy siblings..

He too chuckled with her..

Nandini: Acha Manik, let me get ready..

Manik: Sure, need any help..

She smirked at him and pulled him to her by his collars..

Nandini: I won't mind but what if you lose your control..? I've got no time..

He stared at her with widened mouth and she laughed out after seeing his face..He smirked and traced her arms with his finger tips which made her gulp hard..

Manik ( huskily ): I won't mind, either. Let's get start with it, then..

He rubbed his legs with her bare ones and bent to her level when she poked his nose and pushed his face back..

Nandini: Oye, zyada touchy math hoja..yaad nahi hai kya tumne Pops se kya kaha tha..If you will have a girl in your life then it would be your wife aur mein aapki wife nahi hoon..

Manik ( rubbed his nape ): Par girlfriend tho hai na..tho continue kar sakthe na..

He rubbed his nose with her's earning a giggle from her..

Manik ( smiled ): I love your giggle, its so soothing..

Nandini ( smiled ): Well, I love your lips when you stretch them into a thin curve..

Manik ( grinned ): Say it out that you want me to smile every now and then..

She simply smiled and kissed his chin..

Nandini: Ab tumhe patha hai tho kehne ke kya zaroorath hai..

He smiled and kissed her cheeks..

Manik: Chalo, you're getting late..

Nandini: Oh shit, mein tho bhool hi gayi..sab tumhari wajah se hai..

She jumped out of the bed and rushed inside the bathroom..

Manik ( chuckled ): I never thought that I would see a crazy Nandini Dixit. God, I am so much in love with her..

Soon, after 20 minutes Nandini came out while wiping her wet hair and saw Manik doing some stretching exercises..She smiled and moved to the mirror and combed her hair. Suddenly, she felt something in her ears. She looked at her right to see Manik making her wear an earing..

Nandini: Manik, kya kar rahe ho..mein karoongi ye sab..

Manik ( glared ): Agar mein karoonga tho kuch hoga kya..nahi na, tho chup hojao..

She huffed in anger and pouted. He pecked her pout and made her wear the other ear ring..

Manik: If you try to become cute, then I would eat you up one day..

She blushed in deep red and slapped his arms..

Manik ( bad face): You're highly obsessed with my arms, Miss..

She giggled hearing it..He made her turn and stared at her intently..

Manik ( kissed her forehead ): You look beautiful..

She smiled brightly and kissed his cheeks in return..

Manik: Whoa, a kiss for a compliment. I think, I should compliment you often..

Nandini: Oh hello, Nandini Dixit ko har baar impress nahi karsaktha, Mr. Malhotra..

Manik ( naughtily ): Acha..tho kyu naa hum ek kamre mein ek din keliye bandh hi reh sakthe, I will make you understand how much capable I am..

She puffed her cheeks in anger and punched in his stomach..

Manik: Ouch..lagi Nandu..

Nandini: Lagna chahiye, Mr. Malhotra..

She shook her head with a smile and wore her watch..Soon, Nandini left in her car with M4 while Manik went to get ready for office..

At Night

In Malhotra Mansion

Everyone were done with their dinner. Today, each and every member of the large family were in Malhotra Mansion. The youngsters bade bye to their parents and went back to their bedrooms except Manik and Nandini..

Nandini was instructing the workers. They have planned to visit Sonakshi's house the next day with their gifts for her as day after tomorrow is Sona's and Dev's Mehendi. The youngsters have already made the list and bought whatever is needed to give as the gift for Sona while the elder ladies suggested them to take some home made food with them too as it was ritual of their family to shower the bride with gifts, let it be food or outfits..

While, Manik was completing some office work in his laptop as he wanted to spend his night with his lady love because that's the only time they're getting to be with each other. Hence, he decided to complete his work beforehand..

Something, the duo didn't notice was the eye conversation between the elderly men which was happening since a long time..Nandini walked to the elders and saw Manik signalling her through eyes indicating to see her in bedroom for which she looked here and there and nodded as if to show that she wasn't speaking with him..

Nandini: Papas..it's time for bed..so jao na..

Ranvir pulled her down and made her sit between him and Lalith..Manik was already sitting in between Viren and Akash..

Ranvir: Hamare saath thoda time spend kar na tu, aajakl bohath busy rehthi ho tum..

Nandini ( smiled ): Dev ki shadi honewala hai Papa..

Swayam: Haa tho, iska mathlab ye thodi hai ki hum baath nahi kar sakthe..

Nandini ( chuckled ): Acha teek hai, I am sorry..let's spend our father-daughter time..

She winked at them and they winked at her in return. Manik was listening it and he had a smile on his lips which he hid from them..

They started talking about whatever they did on the same day while Raj nudged Akash who was sitting beside him..

Akash: Kya hai..

Raj ( sarcastically ): Aapko ek cup chai ke zaroorath hai, hain na saab..?

Akash ( frowned ): Hain..? Jaise mujhe yaad hai, tum mere under kaam nahi karthe ho phir ithna respect kyu bey..??

Raj ( gritted his teeth ): Kyunki aaj subah hi mujhe bhagwan se call mila aur keh raha tha ki tujhe hi aaj se mera bhagwan maana hai..acha hai na..

Akash ( horrified face ): Nahi yar, bhagwan nahi..bhagwan banna hai tho kithne logon ke kaam karna hai, mujse nahi hoga..

Raj smacked his head..

Raj: Gadhe..tu bhool gaya kya ki aaj hume Manik aur Love se secret nikalna hai..

Akash hit his forehead and made an apologetic face..

Akash: Um..Manik

Manik turned his attention from his laptop to Akash..

Manik: Haan Uncle..

Akash: Tum aaj subah tumhara room mein nahi dikha..kaha gaya tha..

And this sentence just widened Manik and Nandini's eyes..

Manik ( nervous ): Uh..mein..mein..mein..

Akasha ( grinned ): Beta Manik, mein tumse tumhara hi bare mein pooch raha tha, ithni baar ye mein mein poochne ke zaroorath nahi hai..

Manik ( rubbed his nape ): Haan uncle, wo mein..kamre mein..mein tha..

Akasha ( suspicious eyes ): Par mujhe tho nahi dikha..

Manik ( grinned like a stupid ): JOGGING...Jogging keliye gaya tha..

Raj ( irritated ): Aaj kal tu kuch zyada hi jog kar raha hai..tu kya pregnant hai ki ithna work out ke zaroorath pade..

Manik ( freaked out ): What..I am a guy, Dad..

Raj: Tho..Haven't you heard about the rare man who got pregnant..

Viren ( scratched his chin ): Oye uskeliye you need to lose ' it ', As much as I know Manik didn't lose it..

Manik ( confused ): Lose what, uncle..

Viren slapped his forehead..

Viren: Manik, maana ki Raj tumhara Dad hai par mein bhi tumhara Dad jaisa hoon na so please don't expect me to explain all these things. Dil se abhi bhi Hindusthani hi hoon..

Manik and Nandini were hell confused..

Nandini: Dad, what do you mean by that..What should a man lose to get pregnant..

Akash ( annoyed ): Virginity..khush..??

Manik's eyes could even come out of its sockets while Nandini's face was worth watching. She simply hid her face in her hands and pretended like she doesn't exist..

Swayam ( scowled ): Bache hai yaha, Akash..

Akash ( smirked ): Ithna bhi chota nahi jo Virginity ka mathlab nahi patha..Kyu Manik..kyu princess..?

Manik and Nandini smiled nervously at Akash..

Raj: Acha chod..Manik...tum bolo..kaha tha tum..dekh, pehle hi batha raha hoon, agar koi ladki hai tere zindagi mein tho batha de..

Manik was finding it so difficult to sit properly while Nandini started biting her nails like she is going to write a Maths test..

Manik: Uh Dad, I told you right..Nothing like that. Aur, mein aaj subah jogging keliye hi gaya tha..

Raj: Jo Manik Malhotra 10 baje se pehle uttha hi nahi, teek hai yaha aane ke baad tum 8 baje utthe ho, phir bhi tum 5 baje jogging keliye nahi nikal saktha..

Manik pressed his lips together and looked at Nandini from the corner of his eyes to see her staring at him in full tension..

Viren ( his his laughter ): Manik, agar teri wali koi African, American ya Sri Lankan bhi hoja, hame koi dikhath nahi hai beta..

Nandini stared at her father in utter shock while Manik found it too funny that he had to try hard not to laugh in front of Nandini..

Manik: Uncle, aisi koi baath nahi hai..

Ranvir: Manik, Viren sahi keh raha hai..kya ladki Non-Indian hai..?

Manik ( nodded in No immediately ): Arey nahi..

Akasha ( shocked face ): Mathlab teri girlfriend hai..

Manik: Nahiii..

Ravi: Manik, don't tell me hame bahu nahi balki daamaadh milenge..

Manik felt dizzy after hearing his question while Nandini chuckled only to earn a glare from her boyfriend..

Manik ( sad face ): Uncle, mujhpe reham karo..

Viren felt bad after seeing his favorite son's sad face..

Viren: Chal Akash, chod dethe hai..

Raj ( glared ): Tu chup kar, hamesha beech mein aathe hai, tu kya beech minister hai..

Ranvir: Chief Minister suna hai par beech minister pehli baar sun raha hoon..

Akash: Aaj sunliya na, tho khush hoja..

Lalith: Chup kar gadhon..Manik ne bathaya na ki jogging keliye gaya hai tho phir ithna kyu pareshaan kar rahe ho..Manik, tum jaakar soja..

Manik immediately got up and smiled widely at Lalith..

Manik: Good night uncles..Good night Da..dad..

He stammered looking at Raj after seeing his suspicious eyes..He simply went and hugged Viren who hugged him back with a smile and dashed upstairs..

Nandini: Uh..aap log ithne suspicious..kyu..lag rahe hai..

She managed to make a casual face..

Raj ( smiled ): Kuch nahi doll. Uske umar hi aise hai na, kya patha kisi ladki ke saath ghar aaye aur kehde ki ye meri beewi hai..

Nandini ( defended Manik ): Wo aisa ladka nahi hai..

The men raised their eyebrows at her with " what's going on " looks on their face. She slapped her mentally..

Nandini: Arey wo, aapka beta hai tho kabhi aise harkath nahi kar sakthe na..

She smiled stupidly and got up..

Nandini: Acha ab aap log bhi jaakar so jaiye..

They nodded at her and kissed her forehead and muttered " good Night "..Viren walked to her and kissed her forehead..

Viren: Just remember one thing, no matter what, your decisions are something I always adore..

She smiled widely at him and kissed his cheeks..He smiled and started moving when she called him from behind.

Nandini: Dad..

Viren ( turned to her ): Haa doll..

Nandini ( smiled ): Dev ke shadi ke baad, mujhe aapse kuch kehna hai, in fact, to all of you..

Viren smiled at her and nodded..

Viren: All yours..

She grinned back and moved to her room..

Viren ( whispered ): She is in Love..

He smiled and moved towards his bedroom..

In Nandini's bedroom

Nandini entered in her bedroom to see Manik on her bed with a tensed face..She sighed and walked to the bed and sat beside him and hugged him by keeping her head on his chest. He smiled and hugged her back and rested his head on the head-board..

Nandini: Manik, Dev ke shadi ke baad mein Dad se hamare barein mein bath karoongi..

Manik ( shocked ): What..?

Nandini ( sighed ): Shock math hojaa..We decided to say it to them, anyway..

Manik ( tensed ): Par..kya wo iss rishthe ko accept karega..

Nandini ( pulled his cheeks ): He loves you a lot, so relax..

He smiled at her and nodded..

Manik: Wait, I've got something for you..

Nandini ( excited ): Me..? What..Tell me..

He chuckled seeing her childish behavior..

Manik: Pair dikha..

Nandini ( frowned ): Isn't it haath dikha..

Manik: Nahi..Pair dikha..

She showed her legs to him..He took her feet and kept it on his lap and took something out of his pocket and made her wear it..

Manik: And now, its beautiful..

Nandini ( smiled widely ): Indeed..it look so pretty "MaNan", Mani..par achanak..

Manik ( smiled ): I can't make you wear a ring, it will create a doubt in our fathers' minds so here it is, anklets as my proposal gift..pasandh aayi..?

Nandini ( pecked his cheeks ): I love you, Mani..

He grinned widely and took her in his arms..

Manik: I love you so much, Nandini..

They simply smiled and rested in each others' arms..
